Low Latency Uplink Transmission Scheme in Mobile Communication Networks (이동통신망에서 저지연 상향링크 전송 기법)

  • Even though current LTE/LTE-A mobile networks provide enough high data rate and low latency to support conventional wireless services, to support ultra-low delay services, such as virtual reality and remote control, in the next generation mobile communication network, it is required to provide very low delay about several ms. However, in the uplink transmission of the LTE/LTE-A system, the process of scheduling grant is required to obtain uplink resources for uplink transmission from the eNB. The process of granting uplink resources from eNB brings additional fixed latency, which is one of the critical obstacles to achieve low delay in uplink transmissions. Thus, in this paper, we propose a novel uplink transmission scheme called Cut-in uplink transmission, to reduce uplink latency. We provide the performance of the proposed uplink transmission scheme through simulations and show the proposed uplink transmission scheme provides lower uplink transmission delay than conventional uplink transmission scheme in LTE/LTE-A mobile networks.

Numerical Study on the Effect of Range Surrounding Environment on Detecting Time for Cooking Oil Fire in Kitchen (주방내 조리용 기름 화재 발생시 레인지 주변 환경이 감지 시간에 미치는 영향에 대한 수치해석적 연구)

  • According to the "Yearbook of disaster response, fire safety and fire statistics (NEMA: National Emergency Management Agency)", approximately 34% of all fire is interior fire such as hotel, restaurant and residence and more than 53% of which is occurring in the kitchen. The evaluation of fire extinguishing system in the kitchen is performed in accordance with the "Korea Fire Equipment Inspection Standard (KOFEIS 0101-1)" which is using one environmental condition. However, only using one environmental condition is not enough to evaluate the performance of the automatic fire extinguisher in kitchen fire. So the study of fire detecting characteristic about various environmental condition needs. In this study, the numerical analysis is carried out about detecting time characteristic for various range's surrounding environment. As a result, it showed up to 100 s difference in the detection time depending on the position of the range. And detecting time also showed difference for on-off hood operation. From this results, it can be verify and improve the evaluation standard for the fire extinguishing system in kitchen fire.

  • The classic routing algorithms try to minimize the number of hops to reach a destination. In our DPC(Distributed Power Control) this hop-by-hop power level selection is also used to select the path guaranteeing low energy consumption. The main goal is to realize a dynamic protocol able to be aware of mobility and to automatically set security threshold in order to get the best performance in every situation. In conclusion, the simulation DPC has improved energy gain of the AMRIS routing algorithm at the narrow area, and ODMRP routing algorithm has improved energy gain at the wide area.

  • RIF(Rule Interchange Format)는 시맨틱 웹의 구조중 규칙 계층을 담당하며 기존에 사용되고 있는 여러 상이한 규칙 언어들 간의 호환을 위한 표준 규칙 언어라고 할 수 있다. RIF는 W3C에서 승인되었다. 시맨틱웹을 위한 표준 온톨로지 언어로는 RDF와 OWL이 있으며, 최근 RDF 데이터에 대한 접근제어 (Access Control) 메커니즘과 관련하여 일부 학술적 연구가 수행되었다. 본 논문에서는 RDF 데이터와 결합될 수 있는 RIF 추론 규칙에 대해 이미 제안한 RDF 접근제어 메커니즘을 확장하고자 한다. RDF 데이터에 대해 명세된 접근 권한은 RIF 추론에 의하여 권한 충돌이 발생할 수 있고, 그로 인해 접근 권한은 허용되지 않을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 어떤 조건에서 이러한 RIF 추론에 의한 권한 충돌이 발생하는 지를 분석하며, 이미 제안한 그래프 레이블링을 사용하는 충돌 발견 방법이 RIF 추론과 관련하여서도 효율적임을 보인다. 실험에서는 제안된 방법이, 비록 포함관계 추론에 특화 되었지만, Chase 알고리즘에 기반한 다른 연구에서의 방법보다 발견 시간을 크게 감소시킴을 보인다.

A Study on Regulation Improvement of Local Ventilation System (국소배기장치의 규제개선에 관한 연구)

  • Anyone who wants to install local ventilation system must obtain a permission from the Ministry of Employment and Labor even if he has permission from the Ministry of Environment. This is because not only the Atmospheric Environmental Protection Act, but also the manufacturing industry's hazardous risk prevention plan under Article 48 Clause 2 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act is to be submitted by 15 days before the construction. Under the current Environmental Protection Act, the Ministry of Environment regulates only the emission of pollutants from local exhaust ventilation systems into the atmosphere and the contents of workers' safety and health within industrial sites are managed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Even with the approval of the Ministry of Environment, the number of unsuccessful cases by the Ministry of Employment and Labor has increased, causing a growing discontent among the sites due to production delays and additional costs of improvement. In addition, local exhaust systems that are at greater risk of fire explosion have increased the risk of severe industrial accidents due to fire explosion. This is due to insufficient design of air volume, control speed, return speed, duct size, and risk of fire explosion. This is because the criteria and procedures for approval of local exhaust ventilation systems are similar, but the Industrial Safety and Health Act adds additional screening items for safety and safety of workers and fire and explosion. In this study, the Environment Ministry and the Employment and Labor Ministry seek to find a reasonable way to operate the system by comparing local exhaust ventilation system installation approval standards.

  • 본 연구에서는 산업용 패널(PANEL) 작업관리를 위한 보안 시스템의 한 예를 제안한다. 관리자 및 작업자, 작업 시작시간, 종료시간 및 모든 작업패널을 개별적으로 개폐 관리할 수 있으며 인증번호에 의하여 작업승인 제어가 가능하고 이상시 경보를 발령하도록 하며 HMI에 의해 감시기능을 갖추었다. 산업용 이더넷을 이용하여 PC 기반 패널보안시스템을 제작하여 제안한 시스템의 유용성을 제시하였다.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경 실현을 위해 차량의 정보화 능력 향상은 필수적이나 이에 관련한 연구는 미비한 편이다. 본 논문은 고성능의 내장형 컴퓨터 및 평판 디스플레이 기술을 자동차 계기 시스템에 적용하여 차량의 컴퓨팅 능력을 증대시키고, 이러한 물리적 환경에 적합한 계기 시스템 설계 모델을 제시한다 제안하는 계기시스템은 디지털 디스플레이의 특성을 살린 레이아웃과 그래픽 효과를 통해 상황에 따라 동적으로 운용된다. 또한 그래픽 인터페이스와 결합한 모바일 기기가 제공되어 사용자가 손쉽게 계기 시스템의 기능을 제어할 수 있다.

  • 열차 통신의 목적은 분산 제어 시스템에서 빠르고 정확한 데이터 교환에 있다. 이를 위하여 개발되고 1999년 IEC와 IEEE에 의해 국제 규격으로 승인된 TCN(Train Communication Network)은 차량간 통신 버스인 WTB(Wired Train Bus)와 차량내 통신 버스인 MVB(Multifunction Vehicle Bus)의 이중 계층 구조로 구성되며 TCN의 데이터 서비스는 프로세스 데이터, 메시지 데이터, 관리용 데이터의 세가지 데이터 서비스로 구분된다. MVB는 전송 가능한 데이터 서비스에 따라 디바이스의 클래스가 나눠지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 MVB에서 버스 마스터의 프레임에 따라 데이터를 보낼 수 있는 슬레이브 컨트롤러의 구성과 시뮬레이션을 통해 구현된 장치의 기능이 국제 표준의 제안사항들을 따르고 있는 지 증명한다.

  • In this paper, we investigated several buffer management schemes for the design of shared-memory type ATM switches, which can enhance the utilization of switch resources and can support quality-of-service (QoS) functionalities. Our results show that dynamic threshold (DT) scheme demonstrate a moderate degree of robustness close to pushout(PO) scheme, which is known to be impractical in the perspective of hardware implementation, under various traffic conditions such as traffic loads, burstyness of incoming traffic, and load non-uniformity across output ports. Next, we considered buffer management strategies to support QoS functions, which utilize parameter values obtained via connection admission control (CAC) procedures to set tile threshold values. Through simulations, we showed that the buffer management schemes adopted behave well in the sense that they can protect regulated traffic from unregulated cell traffic in allocating buffer space. In particular, it was observed that dynamic partitioning is superior in terms of QoS support than virtual partitioning.

  • In this paper, we propose a frequency-domain interference cancellation algorithm for direct-sequence spread spectrum systems. In the previously proposed frequency-domain interference cancellation algorithms that protocol defines the rules concerning the collection of means of Transmission Control Protocol (TCP: Transmission Control Protocol) is the most widely used in the transport layer. Two-way traffic through the network path to the same end-to-end transfer of data in the opposite direction between pairs of nodes are infused with two or more TCP connection using the network traffic patterns from the exchanger and routers share results of approval. Per-flow input/output structure of matter using the LTS online reaction when evaluated as this is the most important factor. TCP-MT when the connection duration is one of the largest performance gains.
