  • This study intends to divide consumer's psychological attachment of pro-sport into the identification of attitudinal dimension and the identification of behavioral dimension. And then intends to examine the relationship effect between motivation variables associated with pro-sport team(concern with the team's ranking, ability of players, attraction of players) and inspection intention, sponsorship effect(sponsor brand attitude). Almost all previous studies measured such relationship at the fragmented level, then there were no previous studies on the complicated relationship between sport team and sponsorship. Because of mentioned facts, this study used structure equation model to verify such relationship. Briefly, verifying hypothesis is as follows. First, almost all motivations related to the team are connected behavioral identification through attitudinal identification. Second, when examining the relationship between psychological attachment and inspection intention, sponsorship brand attitude, psychological attachment had positive effect on inspection intention and sponsor brand attitude in the case of attitudinal identification, but it had positive effect on only inspection intention in the case of behavioral identification. Findings and corresponding implications are discussed & future research directions.

The researchers selected 542 adult men and women who live in Seoul and the Incheon, Gyeonggi and Chungcheong provinces, and who were currently engaged in marine sports activities. Data processing was performed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0 for the frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the leisure attitudes of marine sports participants did not affect the promotion of leisure (p>.05). Second, the attitude towards leisure of the marine sports participants had a negative effect on using leisure pharmaceuticals (p<.05). Third, the leisure attitudes of marine sports participants affected their leisure satisfaction (p<.05). Fourth, the promotion of leisure activities of the marine sports participants did not affect their leisure satisfaction (p>.05). Fifth, the leisure restrictions of marine sports participants did not affect their leisure satisfaction (p>.05). Sixth, the leisure activities of marine sports participants affected the intention of rejoining (p<.05).

  • This study aimed to analyze consumers' acceptance of sports applications and smart sportswear to better design technology-enhanced walking exercise wear for the Baby Boomer generation based on their cohort characteristics. A questionnaire with items related to acceptance of existing smart sportswear design, functionality, and usability as well as existing sports application design, functionality, and usability was sent to consumers aged 50-65. Of 163 questionnaires distributed, 150 were used for analysis. The results showed that middle-aged consumers were aware of smart sportswear's functional stability, but were concerned about care, durability, and convenience. Middle-aged consumers were also aware of sports applications as educational functions for obtaining new information. Additionally, they found sports applications to have lower perceived convenience and accessibility relative to the young generation, highlighting the need for simple instructions and explanations for sports application planning. Based on these results, we propose "Everyday design for general sportswear," "Functions based on consumer's preference," "Enhanced design for durability and management convenience" for designing and planning walking exercise wear for middle-aged consumers, and "Convenient application organization" and "Educational exercise contents" for application planning for walking exercises.

  • This study is aimed at analyzing the characteristics of each service quality and the requirements of the customers followed by the classification of service quality factors of youth sports clubs by using Kano model. For this purpose, a survey was conducted by targeting on 257 subjects in 10 youth sports clubs in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas and for data processing, Microsoft Office Excel 2016 and SPSS 22.0 were used to carry out Frequency Analysis, Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Kano model Quality Classification, Timko's Customer Satisfaction Coefficient, and the computation and analysis of Public-service Customer Satisfaction Index. The following shows the research findings. First, as a result of using Kano model to classify each item of the service quality factors of the youth sports club through Dualistic Quality Theory Attribution, one-dimensional quality elements resulted in all 22 items of service quality factors of youth sports club. Second, the customer satisfaction coefficient computation result showed that satisfaction coefficient appeared by the order of 'kind response of the instructor,'(0.81), 'attitude of the instructor'(0.80), 'systematic lecture program'(0.76), and 'variety of program)'(0.76) and dissatisfaction coefficient appeared by the order of 'clean and pleasant facility'(-0.79), 'attitude of the instructor'(-0.76), 'kind response of the instructor'(-0.76), 'convenience of parking facility'(-0.73), and 'promptness of business process'(-0.73). Third, the public-service customer satisfaction index placing appeared by the order of the 'attitude of the instructor', 'kind response of the instructor', 'clean and pleasant facility' and 'systematic lecture program'.

The subjects used for the research were 773 male and female consumers who were residents in Seoul. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan test. The results showed that there were four sportswear benefit segments: figure compensation/ ostentation, individuality, comfort/function, and youth-oriented groups. Statistical analyses showed that the four sportswear benefit segments were different in regard to imported brand attitudes, department store attitudes, and sportswear purchasing behavior. For example, figure compensation/ ostentation segment had more positive attitude toward imported brands and department stores, considered design and advertisement important as sportswear selection criteria, and had a highest expenditure on sportswear purchase. The implications of the research were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of sports involvement and consumer attitude on fashion advertisement using sports star models(CAATTM) according to demographics and to investigate the effect of sports involvement to CAATTM. The subjects selected for final analysis were 398 adults living in Daejeon. The statistics used for analysis included factor analysis, ANOVA, multiple range test, regression, $Cronbach'\alpha$, and frequency. The results were as follow: 1. Sports Involvement was divided Cognitive Sports Involvement(CSI) and Emotional Sports Involvement(ESI). The CSI and ESI were different according to sex. And CSI was different according to age, education level and marriage status. 2. CATTM was divided into three factors: Emotional Attitude(EA), Cogitive Attitude(CA), and Ethical Attitude(ETA). CA was different according to sex, age, income, and marriage status. 3. The sports involvement affected CAATTM. People who were high in CSI and ESI showed high attitude in EA and CA.

  • The purpose of this study is to construct a knowledge structure for the application of physical education in ecological marine sports. As specific exercises, a volleyball game (beach volleyball) and open water swimming were set, and a knowledge structure analysis framework was used for the study. Expert consultation was conducted to secure the validity of the study. The study results are as follows. First, a knowledge structure based on the 2022 revised physical education curriculum was prepared. Second, the basis for the application of physical education classes for ecological marine sports was prepared. Third, learning contents in the knowledge·understanding domain, process·functional domain, and value·attitude domain of beach volleyball were proposed. Fourth, learning contents of knowledge·understanding domain, process·function domain, and value·attitude domain of sea swimming were proposed. This study is meaningful in that it prepared in advance for the realization of the 2022 revised physical education curriculum to be introduced in the future.
