A Double Mediating Effect of Resistance and Job Stress between Acceptance and Flourishing in Organizational Change (변화수용성과 번영 간 관계에서 변화저항과 직무스트레스의 이중 매개효과)

  • This study purposed to investigate the double mediating effect of the resistance and the job stress between the acceptance and the flourishing in organizational change. The survey has executed on 300 employees. The acceptance of organizational change was positively related to the flourishing, negatively to the resistance of organizational change and the job stress. The resistance of organizational change was positively related to the job stress, negatively to the flourishing. The job stress was negatively related to the flourishing. The resistance of organizational change was meditating the acceptance to change and the job stress, and the acceptance to change and the flourishing. The job stress on the acceptance to change and the flourishing partially mediated as well as the resistance to change and the flourishing. The resistance to change and the job stress double meditated the acceptance to change and the flourishing. The implications, limitations of this study for future research were discussed.

Role of Coelomocytes in Stress Response and Fertility in Caenorhabditis elegans (꼬마선충의 coelomocyte 세포가 스트레스 저항성 및 번식력에 미치는 영향)

  • Coelomocytes are specialized cells that continually and nonspecifically scavenge fluid from the body cavity through endocytosis in Caenorhabditis elegans. Our previous study revealed that coelmocytes were specifically required for dietary-restriction-induced longevity in C. elegans. In the present study, we examined the effect of coelomocyte ablation on the response to environmental stressors and reproduction in C. elegans. Coelomocytes were ablated using diphtheria toxin specifically expressed in coelomocytes. After exposing worms to 20 J/cm2/min of ultraviolet irradiation in vivo, the survival of the worms was monitored daily. To examine their response to heat stress, their survival after 10 h of 35℃ heat shock was measured. Oxidative stress was induced using paraquat, and the susceptibility to oxidative stress was compared between wild-type control and coelomocyte-ablated worms. The total number of progeny produced was counted, and the time-course distribution of the progeny was determined. The worms with ablated coelomocytes showed reduced resistance to ultraviolet irradiation, but the ablation of coelomocytes had no effect on their response to heat or oxidative stress. The number of progeny produced during the gravid period was significantly decreased in the coelomocyte-ablated worms. These findings suggest that coelomocytes specifically modulate the response to ultraviolet irradiation and are required for normal reproduction in C. elegans. The findings could contribute to understanding of the mechanisms underlying dietary-restriction-induced longevity.

Polyamine 함량이 증가된 형질전환 담배 식물체에서의 스트레스 저항성에 관한 연구

  • We have investigated the effects of abiotic and biotic stresses on leaf senescence using transgenic tobacco plants, in which cellular contents of polyamines were increased by introducing the genes of polyamine and ethylene biosynthesis in sense or antisense orientation. These transgenic plants showed accumulations of polyamines at higher levels than were found in wild-type. Stress-induced senescence was attenuated in transgenic plants cpmpared with wild-type plants, in terms of total chlorphyll loss and phenotypic changes after oxidative stress of hydrogen peroxide($H_2O_2$), high salinity, acid stress (pH3.0), ABA and fungal pathogen(phytophothora parasitica pv.Nicotianae). Transcripts for antioxidant enzyme, glutathionine-S-transferase and catalase, were also more abundant in transgenic plants than wild-type plants. These result suggested that higher expression of those genes caused a broad-spectrum resistance to abiotic stress/biotic stress. These phenomena indicate that polyamines may play an important role in contributing to the antioxidant defense function in plants. Our findings suggest that facilitate the improvement of stress tolerance of crop plants.

  • 본 연구는 2011년 6월부터 2012년 2월까지 S시 I병원과 B센터에 비만치료를 위하여 방문한 내담자 초중고등학생 51명의 뇌파를 검사하여 스트레스저항 능력과의 상관성을 보고자 하였다. 뇌파측정을 통한 뇌기능은 시계열 선형분석 방법을 사용하였으며 비만도는 Body Composition Analysis으로 측정 비교하였다. 연구의 결과로는 체성분 측정결과가 높을 수록 스트레스 저항 능력이 낮았으며 유의미한 결과를 나타냈다. 이 결과는 스트레스 저항 능력을 조절함으로써 비만과 관련된 긍정적인 효과를 유도 할 수 있는 방법을 도출함에 의의가 있다고 본다.

  • As information security(IS) is recognized as a critical success factor for organizational growth, organizations are increasing their investment in adopting and operating strict IS policies and technologies. However, when strict IS technology is adopted, IS-related techno-stress may occur in the employees who apply IS technology to their tasks. This study proposes the effect of IS-related techno-stress formed in individuals on IS policy resistance through IS strain and proves that task-technology fit mitigates the negative effect of techno-stress. Research models and hypotheses were presented through previous studies, and the secured samples were used, and structural equation modeling was applied to verify hypothesis. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that IS-related techno-stress (overload, complexity) affected IS policy resistance through IS strain (anxiety, fatigue), and that task-technology fit moderated the relationship between techno-stress and strain. This study suggests a strategic direction for improving the level of internal IS from the viewpoint of suggesting ways to mitigate the stress of employees that may occur when IS policies and technologies are adopted.

Isolation and Functional Identification of BrDSR, a New Gene Related to Drought Tolerance Derived from Brassica rapa (배추 유래 신규 건조 저항성 관련 유전자, BrDSR의 분리 및 기능 검정)

  • Drought stress is a crucial environmental factor determining crop survival and productivity. The goal of this study was to clearly identify a new drought stress-tolerance gene in Brassica rapa. From KBGP-24K microarray data with the B. rapa ssp. pekinensis inbred line 'Chiifu' under drought stress treatment, a gene which was named BrDSR (B. rapa Drought Stress Resistance) was chosen among 738 drought-responsive unigenes. BrDSR function has yet to be determined, but its expression was induced over 6-fold by drought. To characterize BrDSR, the gene was isolated from B. rapa inbred line 'CT001' and found to contain a 438-bp open reading frame encoding a 145 amino acid protein. The full-length cDNA of BrDSR was used to construct an over-expression vector, 'pSL100'. Tobacco transformation was then conducted to analyze whether the BrDSR gene can increase drought tolerance in plants. The BrDSR expression level in T1 transgenic tobacco plants selected via PCR and DNA blot analyses was up to 2.6-fold higher than non-transgenic tobacco. Analysis of phenotype clearly showed that BrDSR-expressing tobacco plants exhibited more tolerance than wild type under 10 d drought stress. Taking all of these findings together, we expect that BrDSR functions effectively in plant growth and survival of drought stress conditions.

트랜스포머 열화 인자 도출 및 전원회로 영향성에 관한 연구

  • 본 논문에서는 전원회로에 사용되는 주요 부품인 트랜스포머에 대한 주요한 고장모드, 고장메커니즘, 스트레스 인자들을 규정하고 그에 따른 가속열화시험을 실시하여 가장 유효한 스트레스 인자를 도출하고 트랜스포머의 열화가 전원회로에 미치는 영향을 분석에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 전원회로의 고장분석에서, 트랜스포머의 일시적인 특성변화 또는 고장현상(Bunt, Short, Open 등) 발생으로 인한 전류의 급증, 공진주파수 부조화, Spike 발생 등으로 인한 주변부품 또는 구성회로에 미치는 영향을 정확하게 분석하는 것이 어렵다는 점과 비교적 단순한 구조와 강한 내성으로 뚜렷한 고장모드를 보이지 않는 특징으로 인해 전원회로의 고장원인이 트랜스포머 외의 반도체 소자, 저항, 커패시터 등에 의한 것으로 분석되는 것이 일반적이다. 유효한 스트레스 인자별 가속열화시험을 통한 성능평가에서는 절연저항을 제외한 특성에서는 뚜렷한 변화(열화)를 보이지 않았고, 고온고습에 의한 스트레스에서 가장 절연저항의 급격한 열화를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 열화 각각의 스트레스 인자에 따라 열화시킨 트랜스포머를 실장하여 평가하는 실증적인 방법을 통해 분석한 결과 트랜스포머의 열화는 스위칭소자를 비롯한 주변부품에 스트레스를 가중시켜 발열로 대변되는 현상을 유발하고 트랜스포머 입출력 양단간의 위상편차는 심화시키는 것으로 나타났으며, 스트레스 인자 중 온습도에 의한 영향이 가장 유효하다는 것으로 확인할 수 있었다.

그래핀 투명전극의 벤딩에 대한 복원력 연구

  • 플렉서블 디스플레이에 사용되는 투명전극은 벤딩에 의한 인장(tensile) 및 압축(compressive) 스트레스 하에서도 전극의 특성이 지속적으로 유지되어야 한다. 기존 OLED소자의 투명전극으로 사용되던 인듐산화물(ITO, Indium Tin Oxide)는 인듐(Indium)의 희소성 문제뿐만 아니라 벤딩에 대한 복원력이 나쁜 것으로 알려져 플렉서블 디스플레이에는 적합하지 않은 것으로 알려져 있다. 벤딩에 강하고 복원력이 우수한 투명전극 재료가 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 PEN (Polyethylene Naphthalate) 유연기판 상에 그래핀(Graphene)전극을 구현하여 벤딩에 대한 저항특성을 관찰하였고 일반적으로 많이 사용하는 Aluminum 전극과의 비교를 통해 광효율을 지속적으로 유지할 수 있는 플렉서블 OLED용 전극구현 가능성을 연구하였다. 일반적으로 Al금속은 인장 스트레스를 받음에 따라 저항이 증가하고 다시 복원되면 저항이 감소하는 특성을 갖고 있는데 인장 스트레스에 따라 저항과 늘어난 길이와의 관계는 다음과 같다. $R/R0=(L/L0)^2$ ----------------------------------------- (1) 그러나 반복된 스트레스가 가해질 경우 Al 금속 전극은 복원력을 잃고 저항이 원래대로 돌아가지 않는 문제가 발생하는데 반해 그래핀은 벌집모양의 구조를 갖고 있어 벤딩에 대한 강도가 셀 뿐만 아니라 고탄력으로 인해 복원력이 우수하여 여러 싸이클(cycle)의 벤딩 실험에 의해서도 복원력이 지속적으로 유지되었다. Al 금속 전극의 경우 벤딩 각도 또는 정도에 따라 복원력이 유지되는 구간이 있으나 반복적인 벤딩 싸이클에 의해 복원력이 감소하여 인장 스트레스에 의한 저항 증가 후 스트레스 제거 시 저항 감소가 되지 않는데 24시간 동안 전기 저항 변화를 관찰하면 수시간 후에나 저항이 어느 수준까지만 복원되는 것을 확인할 수 있었으나 복원에 오랜 시간이 소요된다는 점에서 그래핀과 비교가 된다. SEM(Scanning electron microscopy) 분석을 통해 인장 스트레스 인가/제거를 반복함에 따라 Al 금속표면이 표면에 열화되는 것을 확인하였으나 그래핀에서는 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 높은 투과도와 우수한 전기적 특성을 가지는 그래핀 투명 전도성 전극이 다양한벤딩 조건에서도 뛰어난 복원 특성을 보이는 것을 밝혀내어 차세대 투명 전극 물질로 개발하고자 하였다.

The Effect of Technostress on User Resistance and End-User Performance (테크노스트레스가 사용자 저항과 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Recent information technology achieves remarkable progress in almost all areas where it can be applied. However, this technology also causes technostress, such as fear and pressure to individuals, due to events, such as the threat of job loss. This technostress is becoming an important factor that can affect user performance and productivity in future society where information technology will be the focus. This kind of stress should be studied considerably in academic and practical applications. The effects of technostress on individual performance remain ambiguous. Therefore, academic research is needed to prove these effects. This study aimed to clarify the direct and indirect effects of technostress on information technology end-users. We developed a research model that integrates innovation resistance and technostress theory through previous studies and analyzed the questionnaire of 317 people. The PLS structural equation model and the study results of Baron and Kenny (1986) indicated that rapid change, connectivity, reliability, and complexity are crucial factors affecting the technostress of information technology. Technostress was analyzed indirectly only through innovation resistance, which affected the performance of end-users. This study will provide new implications for the relationship between technostress and performance or productivity in the IS field.

Differences in Stress Resistance Level Felt by Obese and Normal Child, and Their Level of Obesity (비만아동과 비 비만아동 간 스트레스저항 차이와 비만도 집단 간 스트레스저항 차이 분석)

  • This research examines 240 patients who visited a center a specific city, between July-September 2017. Subjects underwent body composition analysis and brainwave measurements, and were subsequently divided into groups according to BMI and body fat percentage. These patients were measured by timeseries linear analysis for their brain function and observed via brainwave activities. Results of the research are as follows: there is a difference in stress-resistance between obese and those in the healthy weight range. This implies there is a causal relationship between stress and obesity. In addition, the methodology used in this study, which is a scientific and objective physiological indicator of a scientific and objective physiological index, suggests that the results of the study are reliable. Results support that managing stress moderates obesity-related problems.
