  • Although healing is now developing an interest in extending tourism, there have been few studies in this area. Especially late-night tour is closely related to healing experience, but there are little researches that help us understand healing in late-night tour. This study was conducted to examine the relationships among late-night scapes(light aesthetics, sharing mood, culture uniqueness), healing experience(stress reduce and psychological happiness), attitude toward late-night tour. We collected data involving various late-night tourist, and used 198 respondents to analyze these data using LISREL structural modeling. Light aesthetics and sharing mood had positive effects on stress remove, but Culture uniqueness didn't have a signigicant effect on stress remove, unlikely the prediction. And all late-night shape had positive effects on psychological happiness. Also we tested the effects of the healing experience(stress remove and psychological happiness) on attitude. In the final section, we discussed several limitations of our study and suggested directions for future research. We concluded with a discussion of managerial implications, including the potential to advance understanding late-night tourist and implying an enhanced ability to satisfy target consumers of late-night tour.

  • This study was conducted to define hippocampal volume differences between a stress-laid group and normal individual group via meta-analysis. This investigation included studies that contained hippocampal volume measurements in association with stress from 1990 to 2016. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) measurements of hippocampal volumes were used to determine the mean size, standard deviation and sample size. The pooled effect size was measured by the standardized mean difference (SMD) with a 95% confidence interval. This meta-analysis included 13 studies comprising 374 stress subjects and 439 normal subjects. Eight studies targeted war-related veterans and holocaust survivors, while five targeted personal trauma associated with childhood abuse, rape, accident or financial hardship. The overall mean effect size (Hedges' g) was -0.70 (-1.04; -0.37). Overall, the SMD value was -0.70, with a moderate effect size, but high heterogeneity. Depending on the characteristics of the stressor, studies were divided by subgroups of war-related veterans and subjects with personal trauma and then analyzed again. In the war-related subgroup, the Hedges' g was -0.47 (-0.78; -0.16), while in the personal stressor-related subgroup it was -0.91 (-1.57; -0.26). These results indicate that there was a significant negative correlation between psychological stress and hippocampal volume.

  • This research is conducted to analyze the relationship between occupational stress and turnover intention. The object of research is software developers in Chinese large firms. A number of 309 cases are used for the empirical study. A multiple regression is adapted to test the proposed hypothesis. The results reveal that occupational stress has a meaningful effect on job burnout; exhaustion, cynicism, and inefficacy lead to turnover intention; job burnout mediates between occupational stress and turnover intention. It is suggested that managers need to design a structural HR mechanism for workers in order not to experience occupational stress.

Stress for study, future, economic and value-related factors were higher than other factors in both male and female students. Female students were more stressed than male in friend, family, study, future and value-related factors. Mean sleeping time and sleep scores of the male students were 7.0 hrs and 40.6${\pm}$5.7, respectively and that of the female students were 7.1 hrs and 41.5${\pm}$5.3, respectively. Mean height, weight, percent body fat (PBF) and waist-hip ratio (WHR) of the male students were 174.8 cm, 73.3 kg, 19.0% and 0.84, respectively. Mean height, weight, PBF, and WHR of the female students were 161.7 cm, 55.3 kg, 28.7% and 0.81, respectively. Mean energy and protein intakes of the male students were 2026.3 kcal (77.9% EER) and 83.0 g (150.9% RI) and those of the female students were 1538.2 kcal (73.2% EER) and 60.7 g (134.9% RI), respectively. In male students, sleep duration, professor and future problem showed significantly negative correlation (p<0.05). For both male and female students, in correlations between sleep scores, life stress experience frequency and importance, the total scores showed significantly negative correlation (p<0.01). Sleep scores (sleep quality) have more significant correlation than sleep duration in life stress. In male students, correlations between economic problem and weight, waist circumference and hip circumference showed significantly negative correlation. In female students, correlations between different gender problem and body mass index (p<0.05), PBF (p<0.01), WHR (p<0.01) and obesity degree (p<0.05) showed significantly negative correlation while correlation between study problem and PBF (p<0.05), WHR (p<0.05) showed significantly positive correlation. In male students, there were significantly positive correlations between life stress experience frequency and carbohydrate calcium, iron, vitamin A; correlation between importance and calcium, iron as well as correlation between total life stress scores and iron (p<0.05). In female students, correlation between life stress experience frequency and thiamin along with correlation between importance and thiamin showed significant negative correlation (p<0.05). College students need to practice good life habits for the purpose of correctly managing life stress.

  • This study aimed at analyzing stress factors of radiography students may experience during their clinical training, and thus at providing assistance in improving efficiency and quality of clinical training. As for the method of study, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting radiography students from five universities in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do regions who had clinical training experiences. The result of the survey showed that, among five stress factors, environmental factor was the highest source of stress, followed by ideals, values, roles and activity. In addition, it was found that the level of stress experienced during clinical training was higher than the level of stress in daily life. If the stress of clinical training can be reduced based on the results of this study, it will not only contribute to improving students' level of satisfaction with clinical training, but also enhance the quality of clinical training.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine present condition of social work field education, students' stress/stress coping strategies in their field practicum, and to find out the difference according to the factors related field education. This study carried out a survey targeting 202 students who finished their social work field practicum and took their course work in 2012, from 4 different universities in the northern Gyeonggi province & Seoul. As the result, in the area of stress, the highest rank was the lack of professional knowledge/skills, the second was the environment of field practicum, and the third was the burden of tasks that they had to perform. About the coping strategies, it was found that students utilized 'problem-solving focused' the most, pursuing 'social support' as the second, and 'avoidance' strategies as the least. Factors influencing on differences of stress level depending on field work experiences were whether they had previous field experience, how much time they participated in previous volunteer activities, whether they attended orientation for their field practicum, regularity/frequency of supervision, the satisfaction on their social work/welfare major, and the satisfaction on their field practicum or supervision. Based on the results, suggestions for development in field education system were presented.
