Effect of Initial Value Setting on Convergence Characteristics and Margin of Step Parameters in an Adaptive Ultrasonic Beamforming System using LMS Algorithm (LMS 알고리즘을 이용하는 적응형 초음파 빔포밍 시스템에서 초기치 설정이 수렴 특성과 스텝 파라미터의 여유도에 미치는 영향)

  • In this paper, when using the LMS algorithm for adaptive ultrasonic beamforming system, the effect of initial value setting on the margin of step parameters was studied. To this end, quasi-ideal beams, rotational beams with arbitrarily set beam widths were used as examples. In the numerical simulations, an arbitrary initial value(the number of sound sources fixed to any number) was set in the ultrasonic beamforming system, and the margin of the step parameter and convergence characteristics thereof were compared.

  • This paper described a robust control of an induction motor using a disturbance cancellation observer of a feedforward control with Matlab simulink. The speed response of conventional PI controller characteristics is affected by variation of load torque disturbance. In this system, the speed control characteristics using a feedforward control toughen about a load torque disturbance.

  • 불연속 전송선로를 해석하기 위한 유용한 방법으로서 유한요소법이나 공간도메인법등과 같은 주파수영역 해석법과 선로제작에 기초한 파라미터 측정법등이 사용된다. 시간영역의 유한차분법은 한번의 모의실험을 통해 주파수 의존적인 파라미터값을 구할수있어 불연속선로를 해석하는데 매우 효과적이다. 본 논문에서는 마이크로 스트립에 기초한 몇가지 형태의 2 포트 불연속 회로망 즉, 케스케이된 스텝 불연속 선로와 레이스트렉 지연선 및 단일 스터브 필터에 대한 정확한 모델링과 해석을 위하여 시간영역의 유한차분법의 적용방법이 논의된다. 2 포트 회로망으로 구성된 평면형 마이크로 스트립 불연속선로를 해석하기 위하여 일반적으로 분산 파라미터에 기초한 해석절차가 사용된다. 주파수 의존적인 분산 파라미터는 시간영역의 유한차분법에 의해 모니터된 입사, 반사 및 투과된 전압으로 부터 고속푸리에 변환을 통해 얻어지고, 또한 그 결과를 공간-스펙트랄 방법 및 모멘트 방법의 결과와 비교함으로써 시간영역의 유한차분법이 다양한 형태의 불연속 선로에 성공적으로 적용됨을 볼 수 있다.

  • The damage detection method using the extended Kalman filter(EKF) technique has been continuously used since EKF can estimation the responses of the damaged building structure and the stiffness of the structure. However, in the use of EKF, the requirement of setting the initial paramters P, Q, and R has caused the divergence and instability of the state vector, and various researches have been conducted to determine theses parameters. In this paper, adaptive extended Kalman filter(AEKF) method is proposed to solve the problem of setting the values of P, Q, and R, which are important parameters determining the convergence performance of the EKF state vector. By using the AEKF method proposed in this study, the P, Q, and R parameters are updated every k steps. The proposed algorithm is applied for the estimation of stiffness and the damage detection of 3-DOF problem. Based of the verification, it can be found that the selection process for the values of P, Q, and R can improve the convergence performance of EKF.

  • A new multi-step voltage source inverter is proposed in this paper. The proposed scheme is composed of t the double-connected 12-step inverter with an auxiliary circuit. The auxiliary circuit includes two voltage d dividing capacitors, two switching devices and a low KV A autotransformer. The resultant system is shown to b be a 24-step inverter suitable for medium power level SVC applications in which the PWM method can not be e employed. A 36-step operation can also be 이)tained by the addition of a bidirectional switch to the ProlXlsed I inverter. The design parameters are derived from the analysis of voltages and currents by means of switching f functions. The validity of the proposed scheme is confirmed by the simulated and experimental results.

Self -Tuning Scheme for Parameters of PID Controllers by Fuzzy Inference (퍼지추론에 의한 PID제어기의 파라미터 Tuning의 구성)

  • A PID parameter tuning method was presented by the fuzzy singleton inference, based on step response-shaping of plant and experience knowledge of expert. The parameter-tuning has tow levels. The higher level determines modified coefficients for the controller based on operator's tuning know-how for characteristics of plant which can not be modeled. The lower level determines specified coefficients based on characteristics of response by Ziegler-Nickel's bounded sensitivity method. The last level parameters tuning of a PID controller is adjusted which the modified and specified coefficients makes adjustment rule, and is adjusted the proper value to each parameters by fuzzy singleton inference. Moreover, proposed the tuning method can reflex exporter knowledge and operator's tuning know-how and fuzzy singleton inference is rapidly operated.

The Effect of Stair Depth on Ground Reaction Force Parameters - Asymmetric and Variability Indices - (계단보행 시 계단 너비가 지면반력 파라미터에 미치는 영향 -비대칭 지수 및 일관성 지수-)

  • The goals of this study were to provide data of 3 dimensional ground reaction force(GRF) parameters during stair ascent and descent on three different stair runs and to investigate variability and asymmetry index of them. 10 healthy adults participated in this study and performed 7 different types of gait with 10 trials each. After data analysis, following results were found. Firstly, stair run did not affect on the pattern of GRF parameters, coefficient of variation and asymmetry index. Secondly, a significant different GRF pattern was found between level walking and stair walking. Especially, ascending stair walking has only large Fz1 and small Fz3 while level walking and descending stair walking have a "M" shape connected by Fz1, Fz2 and Fz3. Thirdly, only vertical GRF parameters of stair walking revealed acceptable coefficient of variation and asymmetry index.

  • The stability for a speed sensorless vector control of an induction machine has been studied. These studies show that the sensorless control is apt to be more unstable than the control with sensor on the variation for stator resistance, rotor resistance and system parameters of the machine. First, this paper investigates the speed characteristics when the inertia, J, changes and the rotor resistance, R$_{r}$ changes respectively for a step change of a speed reference, $\omega$. Then, the new speed estimation algorithms with no effects on the parameters variation of the machine and the system is proposed. The proposed method is to implement the observer using voltage, current and constant of the machine. The results are verified by simulation.

  • 항공기, 자동차, 전차 등 차량의 시스템 또는 운동의 시뮬레이션에서는 다양한 종류의 불연속적인 파라미터 값들이 데이터 테이블의 형태로 주어지게 되는데, 본 연구에서의 관심은 적분 스텝의 크기가 고정되는 일반적인 실시간 시뮬레이션의 제약 하에서 기존의 검색 기법들을 비교하고, 최적의 검색 기법을 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 전통적으로 수치해석, 시뮬레이션, 데이터베이스 등 다양한 학문 및 응용기술 분야에서 개발된 데이터 검색 기법들을 조사하여 비교하였다. 또한, 다양한 크기와 형태의 데이터 테이블들을 사용하여 수치비교시험을 수행하였는데, 그 경향은 이론에 근거한 예상과 대체로 일치하였다. 한편, 검색하고자 하는 파라미터 값이 임의의 dynamics를 갖고 변한다면, 이러한 정보를 이용하여 주어진 데이터 테이블 내의 검색 영역을 축소 시켜 검색속도를 향상시킬 수가 있다. 다양한 수치시험에서 이분 검색법(bisection method)은 축소된 테이블의 크기에만 영향을 받지만 보간 검색법(interpolation method)과 그 변형 기법들은 검색 대상 테이블들의 축소로 데이터의 형태가 직선형이 되는 효과를 얻기 때문에 검색속도를 단축시키는데 매우 탁월한 효과를 나타내었다. 결론적으로 dynamic-window 개념을 도입한 보간 검색법과 그 변형들이 이론적으로도 실험적으로도 최적의 검색속도를 보장함이 입증되었다.

  • This paper propose the method that measure the main system parameters for current control of a.c. motor adopting the vector control technique. The automatical method that tuning PI control gains for current control of servo motors are used frequently through the information of main system parameters, wire resistance and inductance. In this study, the techniques to measure these two system parameters through the control of 3-phase inverter are presented. These control and measuring method are implemented by measuring output phase current obtained as a results of the step current control using simple proportional feedback input. Moreover, this method use freewheeling current of inverter at special switching mode for measuring inductance. This analytic strategy is could measure and calculate the system parameters without the complex measurement algorithm and new additional measuring circuits. That is could measure the total resistance and total inductance including wiring resistance and conduction resistance of switching devices using real driving circuits to control the motors.
