Para-virtualized Multi-OS Management Technology for Stable Operation of Smart Navigational Aid Integrated Platform (스마트 항로표지 통합 플랫폼의 안정 운영을 위한 반가상화 다중 OS 관리 기술)

  • Among the failure cases of the existing navigation aids, the SW and operating system errors of the RTU, the embedded computer for navigation aids, account for about 10%. The causes of SW errors have an infinite number of cases, and it is impossible to correct them all. In this paper, we proposed a paravirtualized multi-OS Docker container utilization technique as a stable operation technique for smart navigational aids, which have recently increased the amount of computation and complexity of SW services that need to be managed. It is proposed to divide containers according to service type, expected load, and error frequency and load the service.

  • EJB(Enterprise Java Bean) 컨테이너에서 대규모의 요청을 위해서는 여러 개의 EJB 컨테이너를 클러스터링 환경으로 구동시키는 것이 필요하다. EJB를 사용하는 클라이언트로는 JSPP나 에플리케이션 클라이언트, 혹은 또 다른 빈이 될 수 있다 이러한 클라이언트가 사용하는 EJB의 스텁을 클러스터 환경에 적합하도록 구현함으로써 트랜잭션 지역화, 장애 발생시 다른 서버로의 메소드 호출 전환, 동일 가상 머신을 탐지한 메소드 호출 최적화 등의 다양한 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 스마트 스텁의 필요성 및 구현에 대해 논의한다.

  • The Seaborne Trade Volume accounts for 97% of the total. This means that the port operation management system can improve port efficiency, reducing operating costs, and the manager who manages all operations at the port needs to check and respond quickly when delays of work and equipment support is needed. Based on the real-time location information confirmation of yard automation equipment used the existing system GPS, the real-time location information confirmation system is a GPS system of the tablet, rather than a port operation system that monitors location information for the entered information, depending on the completion of the task or the start of the task. Network configurations also reduce container processing delays by using commercial LTE services that do not have shading due to containers in the yard also reduce container processing delays. Trough introduction of smart devices using Android or IOS and container processing scheduling utilizing artificial intelligence, we will build a minimum delay system with Smart Device usage of container processing applications and optimization of container processing schedule. The adoption of smart devices and the minimization of container processing delays utilizing artificial intelligence are expected to improve the quality of port services by confirming the processing containers in real time to consumers who are container information demanders.

  • 컨테이너 런타임 환경에서 HPC 작업을 실행하는 수요가 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 컨테이너 자원 관리의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 HPC 작업 실행에 최적화된 컨테이너 런타임 환경인 Singularity를 대상으로 cgroups 지정 여부에 따른 실행시간을 측정하는 실험을 진행하고 결과를 분석하였다. 이러한 결과는 Singularity 컨테이너 런타임 환경에서 다양한 HPC 작업을 운영할 시 성능 효율을 높일 수 있는 자원 관리 방향을 제시한다.

  • With slow sea trade volumes growth and increasing competition of ports, port industry is witnessing an increasing number of factors that have driven up the costs. Using financial data collected from Korea's container terminal operators, this study analyzed cost structural characteristics. The differences by terminal size, region and operating status of the terminal operators were examined and the suggestion were presented based on the result of the analysis.

스마트 항로표지 통합플랫폼을 위한 마이크로 서비스 아키텍처

  • 항로표지는 다양한 장비들이 복합적으로 구성되는 장치이다. 이러한 복합적 장비의 유연하고 안정적 운영을 위해서는 주 운영체제의 안정성을 보장해야 한다. 모든 SW는 주 운영체제에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 최대한 예방하기 위해 마이크로서비스 아키텍처가 필요하다. 서비스 마다 독립된 자원공간을 활용하는 마이크로 서비스 아키텍처는 리눅스 컨테이너 기법을 활용하여 구현된다. 제안하는 스마트 항로표지의 운영을 담당하는 통합플랫폼의 마이크로 서비스 아키텍처의 주요 서비스로 센서 데이터 스트리밍 서비스, 임베디드 고장진단 서비스, 데이터베이스 서비스, 원격 통신 서비스, 컴퓨팅 리소스 모니터링 서비스, 시각화 서비스로 구성된다. 본 연구에서는 전체 마이크로서비스 아키텍처를 제안하고 그중에서도 주요 서비스들의 구현 방법을 기존 오픈소스 활용을 통해 제안한다. 제안하는 구조를 통해 각 서비스가 컨테이너화 되어 관리됨으로써 에러대처와 업데이트 관리에 용이한 마이크로서비스아키텍처를 구현할 수 있다.

Smart Ship Container With M2M Technology (M2M 기술을 이용한 스마트 선박 컨테이너)

  • Modern information technologies continue to provide industries with new and improved methods. With the rapid development of Machine to Machine (M2M) communication, a smart container supply chain management is formed based on high performance sensors, computer vision, Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites, and Globle System for Mobile (GSM) communication. Existing supply chain management has limitation to real time container tracking. This paper focuses on the studies and implementation of real time container chain management with the development of the container identification system and automatic alert system for interrupts and for normal periodical alerts. The concept and methods of smart container modeling are introduced together with the structure explained prior to the implementation of smart container tracking alert system. Firstly, the paper introduces the container code identification and recognition algorithm implemented in visual studio 2010 with Opencv (computer vision library) and Tesseract (OCR engine) for real time operation. Secondly it discusses the current automatic alert system provided for real time container tracking and the limitations of those systems. Finally the paper summarizes the challenges and the possibilities for the future work for real time container tracking solutions with the ubiquitous mobile and satellite network together with the high performance sensors and computer vision. All of those components combine to provide an excellent delivery of supply chain management with outstanding operation and security.

  • This paper aims to design and realize android smartphone mobile office ticket reservation system based Spring Framework 2.5 and iBatis 2.3 ORM solution. Currently being used as lightweight container architecture Spring Framework is well-known structure. Also intended to increase the productivity of database techniques are ORM. With the current ORM mapper is widely used in production are iBatis as a tool. Lightweight container architecture in this study, best known as the Spring Framework 2.5 and iBatis 2.3 ORM solution environment based on the android smartphone mobile ticket reservation system implementation after analyzing the mobile webapp development productivity with the objective is to provide guidance.

The Design of the Container Logistics Information System Reflects the Port Logistics Environment (항만물류 특성을 반영한 컨테이너 정보시스템 설계)

  • The nature of port logistics requires global visibility and traceability. However, the traditional RFID technology still applied cannot meet these demands. IP-USN and M2M in port logistics have faced challenges of the prerequisite of network composition and immense communications at the base where a grand number of containers are installed. To resolve the issue, this study suggests an IP-RFID-based smart port logistics service platform. The IP-RFID-based port logistics service system resolved the communication problem by separating the RFID tag and AP, which allows internet connection, from the tag. The tags connected with thermo-sensors, humidity sensors, pressure sensors, GPS, etc. are attached to the containers insuring global visibility and traceability, key factors in logistics, by obtaining desired real-time information regardless of time and location.
