This study is about the development of a smart bed control system to be able to detect the human position and body signal on bed. The main control board in the bed control system consists of the human sensing part, motor driving part and MCU. Here, to increase the credibility to check the human presence on bed, the human sensing part is combined with the human position part by membrane sensor and the body-signal detecting part of EMFI sensor. Also, remotely connecting the two detected signal to the application program of the app mode makes it possible to monitor human information on bed. In this paper, the remote function monitoring of the on-bed human information by bluetooth communication will be abe to make it applicable to the technical prevention method of the bed fall and absence accident in hospital and care facilities.

In order to drive a vehicle safely, driver needs to check status of the car. Many moderns are having trouble to spare time to visit auto mechanic and have car mechanics to check their car other than their office hours. If the car status cannot be inspected regularly, it is likely to cause a big accident threatening the surroundings as well as driver's life. Inspection tool and system help driver to check their own vehicle status personally are required for preventing it. In this paper, it designed and realized system that records driving information based on changing data of vehicle (location and automotive internal data) and allows driver can check the vehicle status easily and further, driver can share the driving information with repair shop via the Internet to receive detailed inspection service for car status.

In this paper, a capsule body shaped surveillance/monitoring device is developed. The device includes a camera and GPS module to transmit live video data and real time GPS coordinates respectively using the Intel Edison module. A control application is developed for the smart phones and tablets to wirelessly view the live video stream and location of the capsule device and also to switch between the multiple capsule devices installed at different locations. The coordination between the developed device and the smart phone / tablet is done using the wireless function of the Intel Edison module.

Internet of Things Iranian people and things, things and things are connected through the Cloud. It can significantly save energy through a combination of LED lighting as a new ICT technologies and industry-to provide a human-centric, eco-friendly, and the content is embedded multifunction solutions that meet your needs, environment, implementation time according to user requirements, technology It can be systematized as converged next-generation lighting. In this paper, we have developed regarding whether the building in relation to the LED lighting control system using smart devices and Cloud-based user as a human connection through the board to the Arduino Yun lit LED lighting, wireless smart device or to the Cloud or off. After the Arduino Yun is connected to the Internet, taking the current date and time information from the Linux shell command used the way coming across the bridge (BRIDGE) its value.

This paper presents a design of the enable switch circuit, which is consist of discrete device at smart junction box(SJB) board. The Enable switch circuit, which receives ignition signal (IG) for input, sends a drive signal to linear regulator and other elements. The circuit design is carried out in a BCDMOS $0.18{\mu}m$ technology, and the performances are verified through simulations according to AEC-Q100 and ISO 7637-2. Die area of the designed Enable switch circuit is $1.67mm{\times}0.54mm$ in layout, and it is shown that the die can be housed in $3mm{\times}3mm$ HVSON8 package. The designed enable switch circuit is expected to be widely adopted in various automotive SJB's since it can significantly reduce the overall printed circuit board form factor.

Data transmission via the car driver's tethered smart phone may have a volume-dependent billing in case car driver' phone transmits data in real-time to the remote data center. The on-board diagnosis data generated are temporary stored locally to mobile remote diagnosis application on the car driver's phone, and then transmit to the data center later when car driver connects to the Internet. To increase the easiest of using the remote vehicle application without blocking other tasks to be executing on the cloud, node.js stands as a suitable candidate for handling tasks of data storage on the cloud via mobile network. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture by simulating a preliminary case study of an android application responsible of real time analysis by using a vehicle-to- smart phones applications interface approach that considers the smart phones to act as a remote user which passes driver inputs and delivers output from external applications. In this paper, we propose a study on development of Remote Vehicle fault diagnostic system features web server architecture based event loop approach using node.js platform, and wireless communication to handle vehicle diagnostics data to a data center.

Smartphone have become the very important devices in our daily life and provide various roles on impairment and communications of developmental disabilities, acquired neurogenic disorders and autisms. Due to the growth of the technology, an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) also meets needs and wants, including user customization, configurable layouts and registration of new core vocabulary for individual users. This paper describes the research conducted to design the smartphone-based AAC system. This AAC comprises of a form of communication types such as picture communication boards and sophisticated computer and mobile based devices that can speak in the phrases and sentences for their users. We deployed our AAC system on various sports situations using smartphone systems and also provided user customization method for AAC user's disability levels.

This paper presents a virtual sensor system that is an effective method to test application software of smart sensors. The common way of testing sensor application is to build a test board, connect sensors to the board, and test sensor applications on the board with sensor's measurements as inputs. The problem of testing sensor application software with sensor's measurements as inputs is the restriction of test data. In other words, software testers cannot manipulate test data, because test data is generated by sensors. To solve this problem a virtual sensor system is presented in this paper. The virtual sensor system enables software testers to manipulate measurements of sensors. In the virtual sensor system, generation of virtual sensors comprises three stages - sensor selection, sensor characterization, and determination of output patterns. Sensor's measurements that can be manipulated through the virtual sensor system make the process of testing efficient. To show the usefulness of our virtual sensor system, it is applied to sensor applications in Android platform and the result of experiments is shown.
In this study, we developed a module that can perform two functions at the same time through interworking between a personal recognition module and a heat detection module in the era of COVID-19. This can simultaneously solve the problem of compatibility of the personal recognition module that occurs in the existing system and the problem of secondary infection that can occur during congestion due to the separate implementation of heat detection. Therefore, in this study, NFC and Bluetooth motherboards were developed, and an array-type non-contact temperature sensor was applied to detect heat. The developed system is expected to be able to realize both access control of floating population and effective quarantine at the same time in public institutions or private companies that require AI automated access control. In addition, it is judged that it is possible to link the embedded programming and web programming implementation method using the module of the development system to the educational program.

In order to apply a piezoelectric energy harvester to a smart sensor system, an energy harvest interface circuit including an AC-DC rectifier is required. In this paper, we compared the performance of full bridge rectifier, which is a typical energy harvester interface circuit, and synchronous piezoelectric energy harvest interface circuit by using board-level simulation. As a result, the output power of a synchronous electric charge extraction(: SECE) circuit is about four times larger than that of the full bridge rectifier, and there is little load variation. And a high voltage comparator, which is essential for the SECE circuit for the piezoelectric energy harvester with an output voltage of 40V or more, was designed using 0.35 um BCD process. The SECE circuit using the designed high-voltage comparator proved that the output power is 427 % higher than the FBR circuit.
