Temperature and Sound Noise Control for LED lamp (LED조명의 온도 및 소음 제어)

  • In this paper, a temperature control for LED(Light Emitting Diode) lamp using a cooling fan is studied. An efficient temperature control scheme for the LED lamp using the fan wind at the lowest sound noise is studied. Also, for minimization study of sound noise and temperature control of an LED lamp, a sequential control algorithm using the cooling fan at the lowest sound noise is presented. For the study, after measurement of the minimum sound noise of the fan and related temperature of the LED lamp through tests, experiments on temperature control of the LED lamp using the fan was performed.

  • Ladder Diagram(LD) is the most extensively used among PLC standard language for the design of control system. But LD has the disadvantages for data processing and maintenance. On the other hand, the Sequential Function Chart(SFC) graphic language is very powerful for describing the sequential logic control algorithm. SFC is based on flow chart, so control flow understanding is very easy and divergence can possible improving its ability. In this paper, we propose the efficient management elevator system using the action qualifiers and choice divergence. From the result, we confirm the SFC language reduced program memory capacity and processing time is faster than LD language.

  • 광대역 액세스 망은 B-ISDN 환경에서 다양한 유형의 가입자들을 서비스 노드로 집선하는 기능을 수행한다. ITU-T의 SG13에서는 광대역 액세스 망과 서비스 노드 사이에서 ATM 자원의 동적인 할당 및 해제를 위하여 연결 제어 프로토콜의 표준화를 수행하고 있다. ATM 연결의 설정을 위한 연결 제어 프로토콜과 신호 프로토콜의 연동 기능은 서비스 노드에서 수행되며, ITU-T에서는 순차적 연동 모델을 채택하고 있다. 순차적 연동 모델은 SN에서 각 프로토콜의 절차가 순차적 방식으로 연동되므로 연결 지연이 크다. 본 논문에서는 광대역 액세스 망의 도입으로 인한 연결 설정 지연을 최소화하기 위하여 병렬형으로 수행되는 연동 모델을 제시하였다. 그리고 본 논문에서 제안한 병렬형 연동 모델의 성능 분석을 통하여 순차적 연동 모델과의 연결 설정 지연 및 완료비에 대한 비교, 분석을 수행하였다. 성능 분석에서 사용된 워크로드 파라미터는 RACE MAGIC 프로젝트의 결과를 적용하였다. Abstract In B-ISDN environment, various subscribers are concentrated into a service node via a broadband access network. The SG13 of ITU-T is standardizing a connection control protocol which provides dynamic allocation of ATM resources between an access network and a service node. To establish an ATM connection, interworking functions between the connection control protocol and the signaling protocol are performed at the service node. ITU-T adopts the sequential interworking model. In this paper, we propose the parallel interworking model which minimizes the overall connection setup delay by introducing the access network. Using the performance analysis, we compare our proposed parallel model with the existing sequential model in terms of connection setup delay and completion ratio. The workload parameters of RACE MAGIC project are applied to the analysis and simulation.

  • This paper presents the off-grid PV-ESS system of sequential voltage control method applied to OR logic gate. The conventional off-grid PV-ESS system with the low-voltage series connection has problems due to capacity expansion. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a noble PV-ESS system with high efficiency and low cost by applying sequential voltage control technique of the high-voltage series connection of analog circuit type. The input voltage of DC to AC inverter can be converted from the low-voltage by the combinations of series connection of the conventional cascaded 24V solar cell unit modules to the high-voltage of 384V in battery. The output voltage of the battery was 384V as the each input voltage of three phase DC to AC inverter, and the each output voltage of three phase 10kW DC to AC inverter is designed to be AC380V@60Hz as the line to line rms voltage value. To prove the validity of the theoretical analysis by PSIM simulation, the operating characteristics of sequential voltage control system with OR logic gate were confirmed through experiment results.

A Consistency Control of Method for Spatial Data Cached in Mobile Clients (모바일 클라이언트에 캐쉬된 공간 데이터의 일관성 제어 기법)

  • In mobile client-server environments, mobile clients usually are disconnected with their server because of high cost of wireless communication and keep their own local copies to provide efficient updating the cached map. The update of the server database leads to invalidation of the cached map in the client side. To solve the issues of invalidation of the cached map, it is not efficient to resend part of the updated server database to clients whenever the updating of the server database occurs. This paper proposes a log-based update propagation method to propagate the server's update into its relevant clients by using only update logs. Too many logs increasingly accumulate as the sever database is updated several times. The sequential search of the relevant log data for a specific client is time-consuming. Sending of unnecessary logs should be avoided for reducing the overhead of communication.'re solve these problems, we first define unnecessary logs and then suggest log reduction methods to avoid or cancel creating unnecessary logs. The update log index is used for quickly retrieving relevant logs.

  • In this paper, we study the problem of controlling composite asynchronous sequential machines. The considered asynchronous machine consists of two input/state machines in cascade connection, where the output of the front machine is delivered to the input channel of the rear machine. The objective is to design a corrective controller realizing model matching such that the stable state behavior of the closed-loop system matches that of a reference model. Since the controller receives the state feedback of the rear machine only, there exists uncertainty about the present state of the front machine. We specify the existence condition for a corrective controller given the uncertainty. The design procedure for the proposed controller is described in a case study.

  • A nonlinear speed control of a PMSM using a sequential parameter auto-tuning algorithm for servo equipments is presented. The nonlinear control scheme gives an undesirable output performance under the mismatch of the system parameters and load conditions. Recently, to improve the performance, an adaptive linearization scheme, a sliding mode control and an observer-based technique have been reported. Although a good performance can be obtained, the performance is not satisfactory any more under specific conditions such as a large inertia variation, a fast speed transient or an increased sampling time. The simultaneous estimation of principal parameters giving a direct influence on speed dynamics is generally not simple. To overcome this problem, a a sequential parameter auto-tuning algorithm at start-up is proposed, where dominant parameters are estimated in a prescribed regular sequence based on the method that one parameter is estimated during each interval. The proposed scheme is implemented on a PMSM using DSP TMS320C31 and the effectiveness is verified through simulations and experiments.

  • Recently manufacturing companies have used PLC control programs popularly for their automated production systems. Since the life cycle of production process is not so long, the change of the production lines occur frequently. Most of changes happen with modification of the position information and control process of the equipment. PLC control program is also modified based on the fundamental process. Therefore, to verify new PLC program by configuring virtual space according to real environment is needed. In this paper we show a logical modeling method, based on Timed-FSA useful for sequence control and dead-lock prevention. There is a problem wasting user's labor and time when defining a variety of states in a device. To overcome this problem, we propose an extended I-O model based on existing methods by adding a token concept of Petri Nets. Also we will show the usability of the extended I-O modeling through user study.

  • For the accomplishment of satellite's own missions, complicated control procedures and commands are required. Although absolute-Time Command and Command Sequences have been applied for controlling satellite and its operation historically, these command system only has a capability to manage sequential control process and has a limitation that cannot deal with decision and branch for corresponding to the condition of the time. To resolve above limitation, KARI has designed RTCSC which is mainly based on the existing RTCS but adopts a one-byte Op Code for supporting decision making and conditional branch. This paper introduces the design and implementation of RTCSC as On-Board Control System like OBCP, VML and IP.

  • 차량종적제어시스템을 이용한 운행장치에서 측정센서에 의하여 감지되는 정보량에 따른 응답특 성은 다음과 같다. 1) 종적제어시스템(longitudinal control system)을 이용하여 소대를 형성하는 과정에서 순차형 태로 정보를 전달할 때는 거리만을 이용하는 경우보다 거리 및 접근속도를 모두 사용하는 것이 훨씬 안정된 소대의 형성을 나타내었다. 2) 제어장치에서 제어상수의 선정에 따라 구분되는 세 가지의 영역이 정의되었다. 쾌적한 운행의 판단은 빠른 주기로 변화하는 응답특성이 나타나는지의 여부로 결정할 수가 있다. 즉 빠른 주 기로 감가속을 변화시켜야 할 경우에는 안락한 승차감을 기대할 수 없다.
