A theoretical study of the adsorption characteristics of gaseous molecules on the carbonaceous adsorbent (탄소질 흡착제에 가스 상 분자의 흡착 특성에 대한 이론적 연구)

  • The adsorption characteristics of gaseous molecules on the carbonaceous adsorbent have been investigated at various temperature and pressure with different pore sizes using Grand Canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulation method. The geometrical parameters and spectroscopic properties of adsorbates have been computed using density functional theory (DFT). At higher temperatures is the adsorption amount of adsorbates is decreased due to their vaporization. Considering the pore size effect, the adsorption characteristic depends on the adsorbate size, polarity and interaction between adsorbates, etc. At all cases employed in this study, the adsorption amount of adsorbates on the carbonaceous adsorbent is increased in the order $NH_3$ < $H_2S$ < $CH_3SH$, and this result is qualitatively in good agreement with the experimental observation.

  • Single-phase is used widely power of field of appliance because can use commercialized power directly without power transform. Specially, because condenser nu-drive style single-phase induction motor efficiency is excellent, and most suitable in embodiment as economical. It is established true that method by crossing self-discipline and method by revolving magnetic field are interpretation of net single-phase induction motor, but method to calculate electric motor inside proper move in existent theory or method is some complex. That arbor in the law of circuit constant that combine equivalent circuit law with numerical analysis law according to development of the latest computer or microprocessor is suggested and does the calculation processing fast and correct. In this paper, measurement wishes to present method that calculate after calculate digital measurement that measures correctly and measures impossible the first and the second leakage reactance and no-load test locked-rotor test, DC test and resistance measurement of stator winding in circuit parameter calculation program that is had for MatLab program individually in single-phase power.

Ab initio and DFT Study for the Internal Rotations of Cyclopropyldifluoroborane Molecule (Cyclopropyldifluoroborane 분자의 내부회전에 대한 이론적인 연구)

  • The equilibrium structures, relative energies and NBO analyses for the possible conformations and transition states which can exist on the internal rotation of CPDFB and CPCFB molecules have been investigated using DFT and ab initio methods with various basis sets. The interaction between bonding orbital ((C1-C3, C2-C3)) and antibonding orbital (n*(B9) and *(B9-Cl11)) was the main characteristic hyperconjugation in both molecules. In addition, the stabilization energy of CPDFB was 6.63kcal/mol and that of CPCFB was 6.97(E-form)/6.79(Z-form) kcal/mol for each conformation. The rotational barriers by internal rotation of BF2- and BFCl- functional groups were evaluated to be 5.3~6.7kcal/mol and 5.7~6.5kcal/mol respectively, which showed good agreement with the experimental values reported by previous dynamic NMR study. Finally, Z-form was more stable than E-form by 0.2 kcal/mol in CPCFB molecule and therefore Z-form was confirmed as global minimum.

  • This paper descbibes a fuzzy multiobjective linear programming, which is a relatively new approach in forestry in solving forest management problems. At first, the fuzzy set theory is explained briefly and the fuzzy linear programming(FLP) and the fuzzy multiobjective linear programming(FMLP) are introduced conceptionally. With the information obtained from the study area in Thailand, a standard linear programming problem is formulated, and optimal solutions (present net worth) are calculated for four groups of timber price by this LP model, respectively. This LP model is reformulated to a fuzzy multiobjective linear programming model to accommodate uncertain timber values and with this FMLP model a compromise solution is attained. Optimal solutions of four objective functions for four timber price groups and the compromise solution are compared and discussed.

  • The thermodynamic efficiency characteristics of R245fa and water as working fluids have been analyzed for the electricity generation system applying the Rankine cycle to recover the waste heat of the exhaust gas from a diesel engine for the propulsion of a large ship. The theoretical calculation results showed that the cycle, system, and total efficiencies were improved as the turbine inlet pressure was increased for R245fa at a fixed mass flow rate. In addition, the net work rate generated by the Rankine cycle was elevated with increasing turbine inlet pressure. In the case of water, however, the maximum system efficiencies were demonstrated at relatively small ratios of mass flow rate and turbine inlet pressure, respectively, compared to those of R245fa. The optimized values of the net power of the cycle, system efficiency, and total efficiency for water had relatively large values compared to those of R245fa.

  • This study employs an analytical mathematical model to estimate the optimal debt ratio of Korean agricultural corporations, more sensitive to the government debt ratio policy compared to other industries, and the estimation of the optimal debt ratio based on objective data. The analytical model utilizes the equation for ROE, with the debt ratio as an independent variable, and related parameters include ROS, TAT, and NFCL. Regarding the NFCL, the optimal debt ratio standard is defined as the debt ratio that maximizes the ROE by analytical procedures such as adding an equation concerning the debt ratio and a linearity relationship to the analytical model, and from these equations, a quadratic equation with the debt ratio as an independent variable describes the ROE. This methodemploys fourteen years of corporate data. Results show that 138% of debt ratio is the optimal debt ratio to increase the ROE of the corporations, which implies that the existing debt ratio of Korean agricultural corporations is higher than optimal. Consequently, it is required for authorities to change future debt ratio policies in view that the purpose of debt ratio management is to maintain safety and increase profitability.Management should emphasize characteristics of the specific industry rather than standardized judgements based on numerical indexes.

  • 정적 통행배분모형은 도로 건설 등 공급부문에의 적용은 가능하나 통행량 및 혼잡의 시간적 공간적 변화를 고려하지 못하여 수요관리에서는 교통량 및 비용에 대한 관측치와 모형의 결과치가 상이한 문제가 있다. 이에 동적배분모형의 다양한 접근방법이 시도되고 있는데 그 중 Simulation기법을 개발하고자 하였다. 모형은 개별차량의 시공간상 움직임을 포현하고자 절대시간이 가장 이른 차량순으로 시뮬레이션을 함으로써 선입선출(FIFO)을 가능하게 하였다. 각 차량별 지체시간의 계산은 대기행렬 이론을 기초로 한 누적곡선법을 적용하여 도출하였다. 개별차량 Simulation은 시간축으로 확장된 연속류 Network상에서 각 차량의 도착 및 출발할 노드와 시간대를 결정하면 모든 지점에서 누적도착, 출발곡선을 그릴 수 있으며 이를 통해 도로구간에 있어 시간대별 통행시간, 밀도, 속도 등을 파악할 수 있다. 또한 합류부의 용량와 와해현상과 분류부의 용량변화현상 제약 및 Queue길이 제약이 이루어지도록 하였다. 개발된 모형의 검증은 영동대교 북단 강변도로 진출입부 자료를 실측하여 사용하였다. 모형은 합류부 용량와해의 적용 전과 후의 결과를 각각 실측치와 비교하였다. 용량와해현상을 적용한 모형에서 MAPE 10%미만의 우수한 예측력을 보였다. 이는 누적곡선을 이용한 Simulation모형이 현실에 가까움을 의미하는 것이며, 합류부 용량와해현상의 관계식을 보다 정교하게 도출하고 분류부에도 이를 적용한다면 모형의 예측력은 더욱 향상될 것으로 보인다.

Wave Responses and Ship Motions in a Harbor Excited by Long Waves(I) (항만내 파도응답과 계류선박의 운동해석(I))

  • The motion response of a ship moored in a rectangular harbor excited by long waves has been studied theoretically and experimentally. Within the framework of potential theory, matched asymptotic expansion techniques are exployed to analyze the problem. The fluid domain is divided into the ocean and the harbor regions for the analysis of wave response in a harbor without ship. The wave responses in both the ocean and the harbor sides are solved first independently in terms of Green's functions, which are the solutions of the Helmholtz equation satisfying appropriate boundary conditions. Slender body approximations are used to obtain the velocity jumps across the ship, which are associated with the symmetric motion modes of the ship. Unknowns contained in each solution are finally determined by matching at an intermediate zone between two neighboring regions. Theoretical results predict the ship motion qualitatively well. The main source of quantitative discrepancies is presumably due to real fluid effects such as separation at the harbor entrance and friction on harbor boundaries.

Performance Estimation of Receiving Data Parket of TT&C System on the Pass Time of LEO Satellite (저궤도 위성의 통과시간에서 관제 시스템의 수신 데이터 패킷 성능 예측)

  • LEO(Low altitude Earth Orbit) Satellite systems have been utilized in the field of earth and scientific observation (cartography mission, ocean color monitoring, bioglogical coeanography, space environments observation by space physics sensor, and meteorological observation, atmospheric observation etc.), and the field of military (military communications and secret information, enemy reconnaissance etc.), and recently been developing in the field of mobile satellite commnication of GMPCS for commercial utilization. In Korea, KOMPSAT I satellite and ground system are been developing and planed to be lunched on October 1999 In this paper, the link budge of the TT&C system for LEO satellite is described and the relations between elevation angle and pass time of LEO satellite are calculated according to satellite moving. And the packet error rates of receiving data are derived three packet error rates(PER) of real-time(RT) mode, playback(PB) mode, and real-time and range tone(RT+RNG) mode are estimated according to pass time of satellite. The results of PER are the best at real-time and the worst at real-time mode and range mode at the all pass time of satellite. The average error free packet(EFP)s of real-time mode, playback mode, and real-time and range tone for the pass time of satellite are obtained as 99.999999%, 99.999912%, 99.995945% respectively. Therefore, transmission sequence of telemetry data are determined such as PER sequence according to pass time, namely, real-time, playback, and real-time and range mode.

Convergence Analysis of the between Visual Analog Scale and Recovery Time according to the Types of Injury of Elite Wrestling Athletes (엘리트 레슬링선수들의 손상유형에 따른 시각적 상사 척도와 회복 기간과의 융복합분석)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relation between visual analogue scale and recovery time with type of injury that occur in elite wrestling athletes. The incidence rate of injury was analyzed the Poisson ratio, and the VAS and recovery time according to the type of injury were compared using the one-way ANOVA. In addition, the VAS and recovery time were examine the relationship using the Simple Linear Regression, and statistical significance level was α =.05. Injuries occurred most commonly in the ligament, followed by the muscle, cartilage and tendon.The VAS and recovery time according to the type of injury was statistically significant (p=.001, p=.001, respectively). The VAS and recovery time according to the type of injury was statistically significant (p=.001, p=.001). Also, increase in VAS of 1 point was associated with about 1.89 recovery time. These studies are expected to be useful as basic data for return to sports and safe training.
