선호구조의 질적 순서화

  • 선호구조의 논리를 결정모델에 적용시킬 때 선호구조는 일반적으로 특정 수치적 순서화 조건을 만족하게끔 표현된다. 그래야 주어진 선택지들을 둘러싼 개인 혹은 집단의 선호구조에 관한 정보가 형식적으로 표출될 수 있다고 여겨져 왔다. 그러나 선호구조의 수치적 순서화에 의해서만 선호관계의 정보가 형식적으로 표출될 수 있다는 성각은 일종의 독단이다. 더욱이 다양한 선택지의 결합에 의한 선호구조의 정보 이동은 기존의 수치적 순서화 속에서 제대로 다루어질 수 없다. 하나의 대안으로서 선형대수의 그래프이론에 바탕을 둔 선호구조의 질적 순서화 방식을 제안한다. 개인 혹은 집단의 선호구조에 관한 정보는 제안될 질적 순서화에 의해 보다 포괄적으로 다루어질 수 있다.

  • Multipath ATM switch architectures have the potential to accommodate easily the design of high-speed and large capacity ATM switches which can handle a very large amount of switching throughputs. However, the multipath architecture inevitably encounters out-of-sequence problems. We propose a multipath switch model to analyze the out-of-sequence phenomenon. And we analyze the out-of-sequence performance dependency on the architecture parameters : the number of multipath, the trunk utilization, the switch size, and the number virtual channels/trunk. Indexing terms : ATM switch, Multipath archltecture, Out-of-sequence performance, Cell sequence integrity, Analytical model.

Text Structuring using Centering Theory (중심화 이론을 이용한 텍스트 구조화)

  • This paper investigates Centering-based metrics to evaluate ordering of utterances for text structuring. We point out a problem of MIN.NOCB metric which has been regarded as the simplest and best measure to evaluate coherence of ordering within Centering framework, and propose a new Centering-based metric, MAX.CPS as an alternative or supplementary one. This paper introduces a framework which pre-estimates the effectiveness of a metric on a given input ordering, and selects an applicable metric according to the pre-estimation result. Using this framework, we propose a new policy which can generate more optimal ordering within Centering framework. Moreover, we evaluate several kinds of Cf-ranking methods in terms of Centering-based metrics, and find that simply ranking entities by their linear order is generally the most suitable because of characteristics in Korean.

  • We have determined the sequence of $tRNA^{Arg}$ of A. nidulans partially by enzymatic rapid RNA sequencing technique. The sequence was 5'GGCCGGCUGGCCCAAXUGGCAAGGXUCUGAXUACGAAXCAGGAGAUUGCACXXXXXGAGCXXUXXGUCGGUCACCA3' The cloverleaf structure was made from above data. As a result, the anticodon sequence was identified as ACG. This result was confirmed with charging test. The complete sequence was proposed by supplementing the DNA sequence to and by assigning the position of minor bases to this RNA sequence.

  • 본 논문에서는 초동학생의 기초 알고리즘 개념 습득 및 프로그래밍 능력 함양을 위한 순서도 적용 방안을 제안한다. 컴퓨팅 사고력 함양을 위해서는 프로그래밍 전에 알고리즘을 설계하는 단계가 포함되어야 하며, 초등학생의 프로그래밍 교육은 블록형 프로그래밍 언어를 사용할 것을 권장한다. 알고리즘 설계에 순서도를 활용하는 것이 효과적이나, 블록형 프로그래밍 언어의 특성상 순서도의 기본 기호로만 블록을 표현하기에는 어려운 부분이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 반복구조와 선택구조를 중심으로 블록을 순서도로 표현하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

  • PSC box girder bridges usually have a lot of tendons, and the difference of the bursting forces lies in the prestressing order of the tendons. As a result of the lack of studies on the prestressing order for the bridges, the order depends on the designer's intuition and experiences. In this paper, with investigation into various methods determining the bursting force of the anchorage, reasonable prestressing order is determined by analysis of PSC beam bridge and PSC box girder bridge with most suitable method. It may be stated that this study would be useful for determining the reasonable prestressing order of tendons for the PSC box girder bridges.

  • Today's microprocessor normally includes several processing cores to reduce the energy consumption without losing performance. In this paper, data transfer ordering mechanism can be efficiently used for cache coherence solution in unidirectional ring interconnect. RING-DATA ORDER combines the simplicity of GREEDY-ORDER and the performance of RING-ORDER. RING-DATA ORDER can be easily applicable to multicore processor with unidirectional ring interconnect.

Removal Torque Values of Retaining Screws Tightened to Implant-Supported Prosthesis with Different Connection Systems by Various Tightening Technique (다른 연결 시스템을 갖는 임플랜트 상부 구조물에서 조임술식에 따른 지대주 나사의 풀림 토크값에 대한 연구)

  • As implant treatment has become popular, lots of different shapes and materials of the implant upper component have been supplied. And there are also diverse reports about failures including loosening of the abutment screw which is one of the most common reason. Purpose : The purpose of this study is to find out how different screw tightening orders and methods influence on screw loosening according to the different connection systems. The upper component was fabricated by casting method. After fabricating master models that are precisely attached to the upper component, 5 experimental models each for the external connection system and internal connection system were fabricated using splinting impression technique. First, to find out the influence of the screw tightening order, screws were tightened in 3 orders; 1-2-3-4, 2-3-1-4, 2-4-3-1. After tightening, removal torque values (RTV) of each group was measured. And also to find out the influence of screw tightening method, a model with 2-3-1-4 screw tightening order was tightened with 30 Ncm at one time(1-step method) and the RTV was compared with the same order group (2-3-1-4) in the 2 step method. In the external connection system, RTV appeared significantly lower in group 2-3-1-4 than group 2-4-3-1 (p<0.05). And also in the internal connection system, the RTV of group 2-3-1-4 appeared significantly lower than that of group 2-4-3-1 and 1-2-3-4 (p<0.05). When comparing the tightening number of the screw without considering the screw tightening order, the first tightened screw appeared significantly higher RTV than the second one in the external connection system (p<0.05), however there was no significant difference from the first tightened screw to the last tightened screw in the internal connection system. And there was no statistically significant difference between the two screw tightening methods in both internal and external connection system. In the comparison of external and internal connection system, each RTV appeared 16.27 Ncm and 14.25 Ncm and appeared as a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). There was a significant difference in RTV measured according to the screw tightening order. The lowest RTV appeared in the groups started tightening from the middle. There was also a significant difference in RTV between the two connection system groups. A further study is needed to find out the influence factors in RTV and also a study is required related to the load condition.

  • A scan order converter has to be placed before the JPEG encoder to provide $8{\times}8$ blocks from the pixels in raster scan order. Recently a hardware architecture has been proposed to implement a scan converter based on the single line memory. Since both read and write accesses happen at each cycle, however, the largest part of the entire power budget is occupied by the SRAM itself. In this paper, the data packing and unpacking procedure is inserted in the processing chain, such that the access frequency to the SRAM is reduced to 1/8 by adopting a packed larger data unit. The simulation results show that the resultant power consumption is reduced down to 16% for the SXGA resolution.

  • 최근 Mobile IP의 기술 동향은 다양한 핸드오버 메커니즘에 초점을 이뤄 진행되고 있다. 일반적인 네트워크 구조에서 MN(Mobile Node)의 핸드오버 시점을 전후로 CN(Correspondent Node)에서 MN로 전송되는 패킷의 비 순서화는 여러 가지 문제점을 야기 시킨다. 애를 들면 전송측의 재전송 메시지 증가와 패킷손실 등 종단간에서의 심각한 성능 저하를 일으킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 IETF에서 제안한 계층적 Mobile IPv6 기반의 네트워크 구조를 바탕으로 더블 버퍼링 방식을 제안하였고 이를 통해 핸드오버 시 발생되는 비 순서적인 패킷 전송을 순서화 함으로써 위와 같은 문제점을 극복하여 종단간에 성능 향상이 기대된다.
