A Study on the Paperless Waiting Order Count System for Green IT (Green IT를 위한 Paperless 순번대기표 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • One of the most important paradigms in society has recently been a set of efforts to prepare for the future and to protect the environment by saving carbon that occurs in everyday life as well as in the industry. In order to successfully deal with this new paradigm, Korean government has adopted and implemented various policies including the green certification, the development of green technologies and green growth. Many agencies and organizations in both public and private sectors have established plans about the carbon savings and performed a lot of research using IT technology. For example, attempts have been made in Korea to use as electronic documents instead of paper documents using these green IT and mobile devices. This paper proposes a 'Paperless' waiting order count system using QR code and mobile phone as an example of green IT for 'Low carbon and Green growth'.

  • Recently, the most important paradigm is to prepare future and to protect the environment through the carbon savings occurs in everyday life and whole industry. For the success of this new paradigm, Korean government encourages the green certification and the development of green technologies and green growth as one of the important policies are adopted and implemented.   • The smartphone digs deep into our lives, is changing our life. With increases the penetration of smart phones, it getting better performance. In recent years, tend to increase its utilization by an increase in the prevalence of smart phones equipped with NFC short-range wireless communication technology based on RFID in a number of areas, including e-cards, tagging. In this paper, we implement a system that can operate the system by traditional saddlecloth way of waiting waiting waiting standby system more efficient by applying NFC.

  • In this paper, we analyze security weakness of 4-Way Handshake in IEEE 802.11i and propose fast and secure 2-Way Handshake mechanism. Compute PTK(Pairwise Transient Key) using sequence number instead of random numbers in order to protect Replay attack and DoS attack. Also, proposed 2-Way Handshake mechanism can mutual authenticate between mobile station and access point and derive PTK using modified Re-association Request and Re-association Response frames. And, compare with others which are fast and secure Handoff mechanisms.

  • Taxi's queue for entering into taxi stand makes traffic jam and congestion around taxi stand. If we make that taxi waits in another place around taxi stand, and can approach to taxi stand when it gets in its turn, these traffic jam and congestion around taxi stand can be reduced. In this paper, we propose entry sequence operating system for taxi stand to reduce traffic jam and congestion around taxi stand. In this system, taxi driver can request his sequence number, and the system issues sequence number to driver. When it is time to approach to taxi stand due to issued sequence number, the proposed system notifies to taxi driver via taxi terminal. Taxi getting the proposed service can wait in another place around taxi stand, and can approach to taxi stand after receiving notify for approaching. Therefore, the proposed system in this paper can reduce traffic jam and congestion around taxi stand because it can reduce or get rid of taxi's queue around taxi stand. We implement the taxi stand approach sequence management system proposed in this paper for taxi stand installed in Chungju-Si, Chungbuk. We use Google Cloud service and Android platform for implementing.

  • In general, crowded places, such as banks, government offices and hospitals, require the customer to wait for a certain period of time. Thus according to the order of the wait, customers takes waiting numbers. In this way, so customers should always check the order of waiting processes that they can not carry on another affairs. In this paper, we develop an application, that is SmartQ, managing queue using a mobile handset. SmartQ is an easy-to-use application allowing customers an alternative to the classic queue management systems. With this application, they are aware of the waiting conditions in real time for each of their services. They can indicate the time they wish to come and take a virtual ticket in the queue. It provides service notification, the number of waiting person, and expected waiting time.

Effects of Hook and Bait Types on Bigeye Tuna Catch Rates in the Tuna Longline Fishery (다랑어 연승어업에서 눈다랑어 어획률에 미치는 낚시 및 미끼의 효과)

  • A pelagic tuna longline research cruise in the eastern and central Pacific Ocean from September to October of 2006 was conducted to compare catch rates with the use of different hook type and bait combinations. Traditional tuna hooks (J 4) and three circle hook types (C15, C16, C18), along with five bait types (chub mackerel (CM), jack mackerel (JM), milkfish (MF), sardine (SD), and squid (SQ)) and hook number as a proxy for hook depth were evaluated for their effect on bigeye tuna catch rates (fish per 1,000 hooks) using Generalized Linear Models (GLMs). Results from 28 sets indicated significant differences in bigeye catch rates between individual longline sets and hook number. The GLM explained 33% of the deviance in bigeye catch rates with these two factors. An alternative model formulation included bait type which had a small effect (explaining 2.7% of the deviance) on catch rates. Hook type had a negligible and non-significant effect in the GLMs. These results indicate that all of the hooks and baits tested are equally effective at catching bigeye tuna and that hook number (depth) was the paramount operational factor in explaining bigeye tuna catch rates.

  • Orius strigicollis Poppies is an indigenous natural enemy of thrips pests in Korea To develop an efficient mass rearing system for Ο. strigicollis, effects of hatchability, egg numbers and egg harvesting time of Ο. strigicollis were measured in cylindrical cage (251 ㎤) under the conditions of photoperiod 16L : 8D, $55\pm$10% RH and $25\pm$$2^{\circ}C$. The hatchability and developmental period of eggs were 88.5% and 5.7 days, respectively. The highest emergence rate (50.8%) was achieved when the number of eggs laid was ranged from 50 to 100 per arena. The proper harvesting time of newly produced adults was 17 days postoviposition. Relationship between the number of resulting adults per female and the number of female adults per arena was Y : -10.7971n (X) +44.659 ($R^2$=0.7619). The generation time (T), the net reproductive rate ($R_{0}$ ) and the intrinsic rate of natural increase ($r_{m}$ ) were 26.5 days, 6.18 and 0.0687, respectively.

  • 현재 규모가 작은 이름바 '동네 병원'에서는 환자관리의 어려움과 동네 병원의 특성상 병원 자체적인 예약 서비스를 실시하지 않는 병원이 많다. 또한 환자는 기다리는 환자들이 많은 시간에 방문하는 경우, 병원 안에서 자신의 순번을 마냥 기다리는 경우가 빈번하게 발생한다. 이와 같은 불편들 때문에 간호사는 고객에게 간호업무 이외에도 정신적인 서비스를 제공해야 하며, 환자들은 자신의 순번이 오기만을 하염없이 기다리는 등의 불필요한 시간 소모가 크고 자신의 앞에 대기하고있는 환자가 많으면 병원이 어수선하고 앉을 자리조차 없이 서서 기다리는 경우도 허다하다. 이런 불편함들을 조금이나마 해결해주고자 본 논문에서는 저전력 블루투스 (BLE) 기술 기반의 비콘(Beacon)을 활용하여 스마트폰을 이용해 병원 내부적인 예약 서비스가 없어도 자체적인 예약 서비스와 이용자가 스마트폰을 가지고 병원에 들어가기만 해도 자동으로 병원 진료접수를 진행하고 이를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 사물인터넷 기반 병원 대기시간 최적화 서비스와 그 핵심 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 이용하면 간호사는 이전보다 간호업무에 더 집중할 수 있게 되고, 환자는 북적거리는 병원 대기실에 앉아서 기다리지 않고 실외로 나가 자신의 업무를 보고 진료시간에 맞춰서 돌아와 진료를 받는 '사람이 많아도 한적해 보이는 스마트 병원'을 만들 수 있을 것이라 본다.

A Smart System for Customer Ordering Management at Offline Stores (오프라인 매장에서 고객 순번 관리를 위한 스마트 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a new smart ordering application system for granting the customer numbers. The proposed system assigns sequence number of customers who visit at offline store as using speaker and microphone of smart device. This system has more advantage than the existing ordering system. Because the proposed system does not need any customer information like as phone number or SNS ID, it can protect customer privacy information. In this system, we use high frequency which is inaudible to the human ear as communication signal between speaker and microphone. To confirm performance evaluation, we perform a test with ten smart devices like as iPhone 6, 7, 8, Galaxy s8 and the result shown a success rate of 98.7 percent. Therefore, the proposed system can be useful service technology at the various offline store which need to assign a sequence number for customers, because many customers visit at the store.
