치차의 윤활과 마찰손실

  • 치차의 마찰손실은 일반적으로 낮으나, 치면의 온도상승을 초래하여 마멸을 증대시키거나 치면의 강도를 저하시킨다. 이것은 결과적으로 치차의 강도(부하특성)에 직접적인 관계를 갖고 있기 때문에 마찰손실을 가능한 한 낮게 유지하여야 한다. 치차의 맞물림은 치면의 미끄름속도 미 끄름율, 곡율반경 및 하중이 맞물림중에 순간적으로 변하므로 해석이 간단하지 않다.

  • 본 연구에서는 차량 연료탱크에 충격탄 관통 시 화재발생 여부를 분석하기 위한 연구의 전단계로서, 충격탄 속도 변화에 따른 연료탱크 내부의 열전달특성을 분석하기 위해 전산유체역학기법을 도입하여 수치해석을 수행한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 잔류속도 120m/s의 경우, 관통부를 지난 위치에서 최대온도는 약 324.8K를 나타내고 잔류속도 360m/s의 경우, 충격탄이 관통부로 유입되면서 급격하게 증가되어 최고온도 약 382.1K를 나타낸다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 최고 온도가 가솔린 연료의 착화온도보다 높아 화재의 위험성이 있지만 순간적인 온도변화가 심하고 착화시간이 만족되지 않을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Owing to global warming, heat waves have become stronger in the summer, and research on improving the thermal environment of green spaces, such as urban parks, is being conducted. On the other hand, studies on improving the urban thermal environment, which is changing due to the greening pattern and the intensity of the wind, are still insufficient. This study analyzed the temperature of the green spaces on campus to understand the factors affecting the temperature changes. After investigating the covering condition and planting form of the site, factors, such as temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, and illuminance, were measured. The most influential factors on the temperature distribution are evapotranspiration and wind - induced heat transfer. The other major factors affecting the temperature change were the type of cover, wind velocity/wind direction, type of planting, shade / solar irradiance. In the type of cover, the plant was classified as low temperature, and the asphalt pavement was classified as high temperature. In wind speed, instantaneous temperature was reduced by 1.2 ℃ in southern wind, 0.7 ℃ in the westerly wind, 0.4 ℃ in the north wind and 0.5 ℃ in the east wind when a wind of 3.5m/s or more was blown.

  • Ethyl cyanoacrylate (ECA) is used as an instant adhesive, and it can be readily polymerized by moisture in air without any initiator and applied for industrial products and ohome use. However, pure ECA monomer is low-viscosity liquid at room temperature that flows into substrate surface. To thicken the instant adhesive, poly(methyl methacylate)(PMMA) is often added in it commercially. Another disadvantage of instant adhesive polymer is its brittleness In this study, functional polymers including PMMA for an additive of ECA were prepared to increase viscosity of the monomer and flexibility of the adhesive atthe same time The additives, P(MMA-VAc-EVE), were synthesized by radical copolymerization of MMA with VAc and EVE having low glass transition temperature (Tg). The additives were added to ECA to get functional instant adhesives. The chemical structures of the additives and ECA polymers were confirmed by $^1H$ NMR and FTIR, and their physical and mechanical properites were also evaluated. The Tg of the obtained additives decreased with increasing the content of VAc or VAc-EVE, indicating more improved flexibility. In addition, functional instant adhesive containing the additives showed higher bonding strength than that of the existing one.

  • As for the Production of internal combustion engines there has been further movement toward development of high Performance engines with improved fuel efficiency as well as a lightweight and a small size. These tendencies help to solve the problems in engines for example, such as thermal load. abnormal combustion and so on. In order to investigate these Problems, a thin film-type probe for measuring instantaneous temperature has been suggested. A method for manufacturing such a probe was established in this study The instantaneous surface temperature of a constant volume combustion chamber was measured by using this probe and the heat flux was obtained through Fourier analysis In order to thoroughly understand the characteristics of combustion. authors measured wall temperature of combustion chamber and calculated heat flux through a cylinder wall while varying the protrusion height of probe. For these Purposes, the instantaneous surface temperature probe was developed. thereby making possible the analysis of instantaneous temperature of wall surface and the detection of unsteady heat flux in the constant volume combustion chamber.

  • p-n junction temperature and thermal resistance of Light Emitting Diode (LED) package are affected by the chip size due to the change of the thermal density and the external quantum efficiency considering the heat dissipation through conduction. In this study, forward voltage was measured for two different size LED chips, 24 mil and 40 mil, which consist constitute 16-chip package. p-n junction temperature and thermal resistance were determined by thermal transient analysis, which were discussed in connection with the electrical characteristics of the LED chip and the structure of the LED package.

  • To clear the differences of heat transfer coefficient of in-cylinder gas with fuel properties, the transient heat transfer coefficient of hydrogen gas is investigated by using the hydrogen fueled engine. The measured results were also compared with those of gasoline engine and several empirical equations. Transient heat transfer coefficients were determined by measurements of unsteady heat flux and instantaneous wall temperature in the cylinder head. As the main results, it is shown that transient heat transfer coefficients have remarkable differences according to fuel properties, and it's value for hydrogen engine is twice higher than that of gasoline engine. It means that equation of heat transfer coefficient that the effect of fuel properties is considered sufficiently, is needed to analyze or simulate the gas engine performance.

  • 다중패커시스템은 격리된 어느 특정 구간의 지하수를 채수할 수 있으며 그 구간의 온도, 압력 등의 자료를 연속적으로 관측할 수 있어 이를 통해 각 구간별 수리전도도를 구할 수 있다. 심도별 수직적 지하수두는 지상에서 연결 롯드를 통해 압력 측정 센서를 해당 심도까지 내려 롯드에서 설치된 압력 측정용 장비에서 관측할 수 있으며, 다중패커시스템을 이용한 수리시험으로는 양수시험, 순간충격시험, 간섭시험 등이 있는데, 본 논문에서는 순간충격시험을 이용한 결과를 제시하였다. 도출된 구간별 수리전도도를 다중패커시스템을 설치하기 전 나공에서 이중 패커를 이용한 정압주입시험의 결과와 비교하여 보았다. 다중패커시스템을 통해 획득된 심도별 지하수두는 정수두 (hydro-static)상태의 일정한 경향성이 없이, 각 심도에 존재하는 투수성 구조에 영향을 보이고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 이는 다수의 관측공을 통해 수평 방향의 수리경사를 산출함에 있어 관측공의 심도에 대한 충분한 고려가 있어야 한다고 판단된다. 또한, 다중패커시스템을 이용한 수리시험 결과를 나공 상태에서 이중 패커를 이용한 정압주입시험 결과에 대해 심도별 도출되는 수리전도도가 국지적으로 분포하는 투수성 구조에 영향으로 인해 투수량계수 (transmissivity)로 환산한 유효 투수계수로 비교하여 결정질 암반의 수리 특성으로 제안하는 것이 타당한 것으로 분석되었다.

  • By using LED which is a light source which has been in the spotlight recently, the ring light for medical purposes was developed for shadowless shooting of local site in the affected area. The developed ring light was designed to be able to control the various quantity of light by using PWM (pulse width modulation) method, and by controlling each LED (light emitting diode) independently the regulation of color temperature and color rendering are possible. Also, the persistent light for continuous shooting of affected area and flash mode action for snap shooting are possible. In this study the response speed of momentary flash function was checked using interface circuit configured for momentary shadowless shooting of affected area.

Catalytic Pyrolysis of Various Carbon Number Feed Oil Using a Spouted Bed Reactor (Spouted Bed Reactor를 이용한 다양한 탄소수 원료유 촉매 열분해)

  • We focus on a catalytic process based on direct injection method that can produce high-quality oils of gasoline and kerosene with various carbon-number feed oils. The reaction characteristics of a commercial catalyst were analyzed using a spouted bed reactor. Decane and pentadecane were used to compare the characteristics of the fixed bed and the spouted bed reactor. The yield of gasoline plus kerosene was highest at the reaction temperature of $550^{\circ}C$. For the spouted bed reactor, the at-a-pulse injection was more effective for catalytic cracking of feed oils than multiple consecutive injections. The reaction activity became higher as the carbon number of feed oil is larger.
