  • 하천에서 수공구조물을 설계시 구조물의 규모, 형식, 운영방식, 안정성 등을 검토하기 위하여 일반적으로 수리모형실험과 수치모형실험을 이용한다. 수리모형실험은 자연현상의 왜곡을 최소화하여 검토결과를 얻을 수 있다는 장점이 있지만, 많은 시간과 비용, 인력 및 공간이 필요하기 때문에 단기간에 다양한 검토가 필요한 경우에는 많은 제약이 따른다. 반면에 수치모형실험은 제한적인 조건에서 검토목적 및 용도에 따라 다양한 수치모의기법을 활용하여 상대적으로 낮은 비용과 신속하고 다양한 검토가 가능하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 수치모형실험은 어디까지나 자연현상에 대한 수학적, 물리적 기법을 활용한 분석이기 때문에 결과에 대한 신뢰성 확보가 매우 중요하다. 최근에는 컴퓨터의 계산능력 향상과 유체의 복잡한 동수역학적 거동 해석 기법의 다양화, 그리고 많은 적용성 검토 연구결과로 인한 신뢰성 향상 등으로 인해 수치모형실험에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 현재 금강에 건설 중인 금강보에 대하여 다차원 수치모형인 EFDC(Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code)를 이용하여 하천 구조물 및 물리적 환경변화에 대한 정밀수리분석을 실시하기 위한 사전절차로, EFDC 모형을 하천수리해석에 적용할 경우 모형에 포함되어 있는 다양한 변수설정 및 제약조건들에 대하여 적용한계를 검토하고자 한다. 검토방법은 금강보가 건설되기 이전의 하천지형 상황에서 EFDC 모형과 HEC-RAS 모형을 이용한 수리분석을 수행하고, 수리거동 결과 들을 상호 비교 분석 한다. 수치모의 대상구간은 금강보 건설구간을 포함하여 약 20km 구간이고, 대상구간에 대하여 3차원 정밀지형자료를 구축하였으며, 과거 호우사상에 대한 구간 내 관측 수위 및 모형별 계산수위결과를 비교 검토하였다.

  • 학교수학을 가르치고 배우는 과정에서 교사의 역할은 기술 공학의 활용으로 변화하고 있다. 기술공학의 역할은 학생들로 하여금 수학에 대한 태도를 변하게 하여, 탐구적이며 창의적인 방법으로 수학을 공부하는데 열의를 갖도록 한다. 반면에 현재의 수학교수는 여전히 보수적이며 환경의 변화에 더디게 적응하고 있으나, 세상이 상당히 빨리 변하고 있으므로 기술공학을 활용하여 현재의 교수를 개선해 나가야 하겠다. 변화에 대한 인식과 갈망은 학습자료, 재정 상태, 그리고 기타 여러 가지 요인보다도 훨씬 중요하며 가장 중요한 것은 교수관점 및 교수견해의 변화에 대한 의지이다. 교사가 기호연산 실행 조작이 가능한 수학 학습용 컴퓨터 응용 소프트웨어와 이들을 탑재한 휴대용 수학학습 전용기를 중등학교수학에 적용할 경우, 수학교육에서 신중히 고려해야 할 것은, 첫째 모든 수준의 학생들을 격려하며, 둘째 대상 영역의 수학학습 내용을 이해하도록 기술공학을 활용한 새로운 교수 기법에 접근할 수 있어야 한다는 점이다.

Development and Applications of Mathematical Proof Learning-Teaching Methods: the Generative-Convergent Model (증명학습에서 생성-수렴 수업 모형의 개발과 적용)

  • This study has been established with two purposes. The first one is to development the learning-teaching model for enhancing students' creative proof capacities in the domain of demonstrative geometry as subject content. The second one is to aim at experimentally testing its effectiveness. First, we develop the learning-teaching model for enhancing students' proof capacities. This model is named the generative-convergent model based instruction. It consists of the following components: warming-up activities, generative activities, convergent activities, reflective discussion, other high quality resources etc. Second, to investigate the effects of the generative-convergent model based instruction, 160 8th-grade students are selected and are assigned to experimental and control groups. We focused that the generative-convergent model based instruction would be more effective than the traditional teaching method for improving middle school students' proof-writing capacities and error remediation. In conclusion, the generative-convergent model based instruction would be useful for improving middle grade students' proof-writing capacities. We suggest the following: first, it is required to refine the generative-convergent model for enhancing proof-problem solving capacities; second, it is also required to develop teaching materials in the generative-convergent model based instruction.

  • This article made overtures of the relationship between interactive mathematics texts nd the prototype design of computer application with Computer Algebra System Math. Engine, linking together in the school mathematics. School teachers and researchers would try to construct mathematical materials with computers in educating students in the middle and high school grades. As the individual users come to manage hyper-media materials, so they meet with the problem of 'Who does control?'A mass user would be concerned with interactive mathematics materials directly or off-line at realtime and manipulate the process of problem-solving symbolically with MathView/sup 11)/ and ON-Math/sup 12)/. Discussion was made in developing the factor in the domestic situation and reaching out their hands for it. In conclusion, a user may reform the information of math-curriculum limitedly.

  • In this study, we develop the mathematical modeling teaching materials focused function units of mathematics textbooks and establish the appropriate teaching and learning model. Using mathematical modeling materials and developed instructional materials for teaching high school students is aimed to improve the academic achievement, mathematical attitude and fear. The problem of this study is as follows : First, between the groups using mathematical modeling and a traditional textbook teaching academic achievement groups showed that there is a difference? Second, between the groups using mathematical modeling and a traditional textbook teaching mathematics between groups showed that there is a difference of mathematical attitude and fear? Third, what are the lessons for the students' responses using mathematical modeling?

Simulation of Transport and Transformation of Nonconservative Pollutants in Natural Streams: Storage-Transformation Model (자연하천에서 비보존성 오염물질의 이동 및 변환 모의: 저장-변환 모형)

  • The complex nature of low flow transport and transformation of nonconservative pollutants in natural streams has been investigated using a numerical solution of a proposed mathematical model that is based on a pair of mass balance equations describing the advection, dispersion, decay and mass exchange mechanisms in streams and in storage zones. In the present study, a mathematical model (named "Storage-Transformation Model") has been developed to predict adequately the non-Fickian nature of mixing and transformation mechanisms for decaying substances in natural streams under low flow conditions. Comparisons of the computed concentration-time curves with the measured data show that the Storage-Transformation Model yields better agreements in general shape, peak concentration and time to peak than the conventional 1-D dispersion model. The proposed model shows significant improvement over the 1-D dispersion model in predicting natural transport and transformation processes in streams through pools and riffles.

  • Factors influencing mathematics academic achievement are constantly changing and have direct and indirect effects on mathematics achievement, so longitudinal studies that can predict and analyze their growth are needed. This study uses longitudinal data on students from 2011 (5th grade of elementary school) to 2015 (2nd grade of middle school) of the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study, and divides them into groups with similar longitudinal changes in mathematics academic achievement. The direct and indirect effects of learning attitudes and achievement goals were examined. As a result of the study, it was found that learning effort and learning attitude had a direct effect on mathematics achievement in 1 group (2277 students, 67.7%), and learning attitude had a direct effect on mathematics achievement in 3 groups (958 students, 28.5%). And it was found that learning effort h ad an indirect effect. In addition, it was found that both learning attitudes, learning efforts, and achievement goals had no effect on the academic achievement of mathematics in the second group (127 students, 3.8%).

결측치를 가진 목표지향형 평가모델에서 수학학습능력의 평가에 관한 연구

  • 결측치를 가진 회귀모형의 모수 추정법을 이용하여 목표지향형 평가 모델에서 기초고사(X)와 신고사(I)(Y), 신고사(II)(Z)등 두 개 이상의 고사지로 이루어진 고사집에서 기초고사에는 결측치가 없고 신고사(I), 신고사(II)등에는 결측치가 있는 경우 모수의 최우추정량 계산법을 논하고 E.M. 알고리즘과 평가치는 희귀방적식화에 의하여 우리나라 중등학교 학생의 수학학습능력과 수학적 사고력의 크기를 변별하며 학생들의 진능력이 반영된 평가모델과 최종 성적을 평가 할 수 있는 계산법을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this paper, followed by 'Nature$\cdot$Human, and Golden Section I ', is to study aesthetic consciousness, mentality model and body proportion of human, and the golden section applied to architecture and hand axe of stone age. In particular, handaxes of one million years ago have shown that they had critical competency to the basis of art and mathematics in the future. Furthermore, without pen, paper and ruler, the existence of mentality model made fundamental conversion of mathematics possible. Different sizes of handaxes were made by maintaining the equal golden section. This was the first example in relation to the principle mentioned in 'Stoicheia' by Euclid which was published hundred thousands of years later.
