  • Smartphone is popularized, it is a lot of development of the mobile advertising industry, is born many types of mobile advertising. Many developers in the mobile game is the advertised profitable by using the SDK of service companies that service the advertising the launch of free games. Mobile IGA banner, front advertising, we use the ad in the three forms of the front video advertising, each of advertising, have advantages and disadvantages. Although many of the games currently use a full-page ad and front video ads, these ads profitable model is use the user game play time. In order to improve the disadvantage of this method, Commonly used to analyze the three ad revenue model, looking for the element, by using the research result of the previous studies, we have proposed a new advertising Convergence profitable models.

Strategies to Revitalize Bus Exterior Advertisement for Enhancing Bus Transportation Profits: Focused in Seoul (버스운송 수익증대를 위한 버스 외부광고 활성화 방안: 서울시를 중심으로)

  • Advertising on the exterior of buses was initiated in 1985 with the aim of generating operational funds for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. However, despite numerous technological advancements, the regulations governing the method (sheet attachment), area, and placement of exterior advertising on buses have remained unchanged to date. This has constrained the potential for profitability and efficiency in bus exterior advertising. According to Seoul Metropolitan Government, metro usage increased by 23 % in 2019 (prior to the COVID-19) compared to 2006, while bus usage decreased by 10 %. Consequently, financial subsidy for buses surged significantly over the past five years (2018-2022), averaging around KRW 450 billion, which is approximately 1.27 times the average for the preceding decade (2013-2022). The majority of revenue for bus transportation agencies is derived from passenger fares (81.1 %) and subsidies from Seoul City (17.5 %). Hence, it is imperative to enhance the share of revenue from sources other than fares. This study proposes an expansion of the role of bus exterior advertising by increasing the advertising area as a means to increase non-fare revenue. Two alternatives were proposed to expand the advertising area by 17 % and 94 %, respectively, compared to the current level, and their potential impacts were analyzed. The findings indicate that advertising revenue could increase from a minimum of KRW 3.2 billion to a maximum of KRW 53.9 billion, and public subsidies could be reduced by as much as 11.9 %. The bus exterior advertising can serve as an effective approach to diversify transportation revenue and decrease public subsidies.

  • 비교구매는 e-Marketplace의 매출에 큰 영향력을 미치고 있으나 운영 수익은 대부분 광고에 의존한다. 하지만 인터넷 광고의 수익률은 열악한 상태이며, 종량제 기반 광고 방법의 확대로 소비자에게 덜 알려진 판매자의 제품 정보 노출 기회는 더욱 줄어들고 있다. 따라서 비교구매 사업자의 광고 수익을 높이면서 판매자 입장에서는 예산 및 제약 조건 범위 내에서 광고 노출의 효율성을 최적화하는 방법 및 시스템에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 비교도전을 이용한 비교광고 방법을 제안하고 그 실행 방법으로 판매자의 비교 도전 계획 모델을 사용하는 e-Marketplace기반 비교구매 사업자의 비교광고 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 비교도전 계획 모델은 경쟁사(Competitor), 경쟁 제품(Product) 그리고 제품의 사양(Specification)에 대한 수준별 도전 정책을 적용하며, 양 사의 제품 사양 속성값들 간의 기능적 거리를 양적 수치화하여 판매자 제품이 경쟁사 제품에 가장 유사하지만 우세한(Similar but Superior) 쌍들에 대한 비교광고 포트폴리오를 구성함을 목적으로 한다. 비교도전 계획 시스템은 비교가치의 생성과 최적화의 단계로 이뤄진다 주요 5개 PC제조사의 데스크탑 제품자료를 사용하여 프로토타입을 구축하였으며, 타 비교광고 방법과 대비한 성능 평가를 수행하였다. 또한 e-Marketplace기반 비교구매 사업자의 비교도전에 의한 비교광고 표시 방법을 예시하였다.

A Feasibility Study on the Aid and Abet of Providers of Revenue for Copyright Infringement - Focusing on Comparing with the US Cases - (온라인 저작권 침해 수익원 제공자인 광고의 책임에 대한 연구 - 미국 사례와의 비교를 중심으로 -)

  • When looking at the online copyright infringement, the advertisements have served as a revenue source. Recently, copyright holders and state agencies have requested to stop and withdraw posting the ad. in order to prevent copyright infringement. This way is very easy and efficient. However, the problem is that it is not clear whether the request is appropriate. For the request to be valid, posting the ad. should be a kind of indirect infringement, or if not, it must have a suitable reason. If there is no basis or reason for the two, the request should not be asked recklessly. In the US relevant cases, something more than simple relationship with direct infringers or more material contribution to the direct infringement is required to impose secondary liability for copyright infringement. However, just posting the ad. cannot be considered as the close relationship and moreover, it is not material contribution. Thus, posting the ad. is not secondarily liable for copyright infringement. In addition, the bills which was proposed in 2011, so called SOPA and PIPA, had a provision which can stop and withdraw the ads in the piracy sites. Its opponents raised the following problems: withdrawing the ad. is the censorship, gives the burdensome to the sites, and causes the imbalance due to the overload protection of copyright. Also, under the ad blocker case, to remove the ad. discretionally consists of illegal activity or copyright infringement. As a result, because the request to stop and withdraw posting the ad. is not reasonable, the request should be asked carefully.

The Creator Economy on the Metaverse Platform (메타버스 플랫폼의 크리에이터 이코노미: 광고수입 모델과 수익배분 구조를 중심으로)

  • The metaverse platform has been gaining popularity since the pandemic. It facilitates non-face-to-face interaction among creators, users, advertisers, various forms of organizations, and itself. Such interaction has brought light to the new forms of economy, which is called the "creator economy." By providing the virtual space, easy tools, and methods, the platform allows the creators to produce value for the users in the forms of virtual items, content, and experiences. At the same time, it provides audiences to the organizations that need attention. In the course, the platform and the creators generate revenue. Among the diverse revenue sources, this study focuses on revenue generated from advertising and studies how the revenue sharing between the platform and the creator is affected by the abilities of the metaverse platform. With an analysis of the analytical model, we show that if the platform has the ability to reduce advertising avoidance, it can reduce the revenue share of the creator without discouraging the creator from making the proper effort in content creation. Also, as the platform provides effective tools and methods for quality content creation, it can reduce the revenue share of the creator without damaging the creator's required motivation. The ability of the platform in increasing advertising effectiveness helps it to reduce the revenue share of the creator as well.

  • 기술력만 있으면 투자자들의 발길이 끊이지 않아 행복한 비명을 질렀던 벤처기업에게 꿈같던 시절이 있었다. 하지만 각종 게이트가 터지며 거품은 빠지고, 그럴듯한 수익모델 하나 갖추지 못한 닷컴기업들은 인수합병되거나 흔적도 없이 사라져갔다. 대부분의 인터넷 기업들의 최고의 수익모델로 꼽은 것은 '인터넷 광고'. 웹사이트를 방문하는 많은 회원수와 페이지뷰만으로 광고주들의 시선을 끌 수 있었기 때문이다. 인터넷 광고의 침체기를 극복하고 시장회복의 단초를 보인 2001년 4/4분기의 회복세는 2002년 1/4분기와 2/4분기에도 이어졌다. 약9개월정도 연속적으로 인터넷 광고의 성장세가 이어졌으며, 지난 2/4분기까지의 결과를 살펴보면, 대부분의 인터넷 매체들은 실적 호조를 이루었으며, 주요 매체들은 사상 최고의 광고 수주 실적을 보이기도 했다. 새로운 도약을 준비하는 인터넷 기업들이 '비즈니스 모델'에 대해 취재했다. 그 첫 번째로 '인터넷 광고' 시장을 점검해 보았다.

  • The advertisement system on TV is categorized into full duplex TV and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). For the full duplex TV or the IPTV, channel providers need a number of advertisements and pay enormous expenses for them. Therefore, this study proposes how to reduce unnecessary expenses based on users' preferences. The advertisement system based on users' preferences is designed to decrease unnecessary advertisements with less expense. To identify preferences in usual advertisements and animation advertisements is to reduce expenses due to the necessity of a number of advertisements. The proposed system was designed to provide full duplex advertisements for profits of advertisement industry and considered users' disposition based on preferences of broadcasting advertisements, through which users can have advertisement desired and providers can expect less advertisement expenses and more profits.

  • For the success of the DMB market to meet consumers' demands for Ubiquitous Media and strengthen the nation's competitiveness, it's inevitable for us to activate DMB advertising as of main profit source for DMB Media, and to develop various types of DMB advertising which are linked to the profit model. So I'd like to look over the various types of DMB advertising which are suitable for DMB features as one of the efforts to activate DMB advertising. First of all, I've figured out what kinds of advertising are available for new media and which related technologies are required for DMB media. Through this research, I could find out what features of new media such as cable broadcasting, Internet and Mobile have become the source of developing various types of advertising and how to a great part to activate new media advertising markets by making the best use of their media features. This research also shows that DMB advertising has the high potential to be developed in various and effective types and kinds of advertising with its media feature and technological feature. This research observing DMB advertising cases showed that DMB advertising can be divided into 6 types such as forms, purposes, techniques, advertising positions, the use of LBS(Location Based Service), coupons and it could be developed into various kinds of DMB advertising dependent on each type. On the other hands, it would be great to have continual researches and follow-ups for various types of DMB advertising and the verification of the effectiveness for DMB advertising by performing potential DMB advertising.
