  • This study was a case study on the connection of volleyball classes for middle school girls. It presents concrete examples of girls' links in school and out of school. Data analysis was organized by classifying volleyball classes from regular curriculum, school sports clubs, club activities, school leagues, and community related classes. In addition, the meanings of the categories were analyzed and interpreted and reconstructed around the possibility of practice at school. The results of this study were divided into experiences in volleyball classes, volleyball lessons using creative and convergence classes. In the discussion, the study was analyzed as connected classes within the school and outside the school. Suggestions were given on teachers' practical studies, best case studies on class linkage, plans to link school sports-life sports-professional sports, and participation and connection of female students in class.

  • Despite the recent increasing interest in classroom expertise of teachers for gifted there has been lack of research on exploring or analyzing the components of classes for gifted tailored to the characteristics of each subject matter Given this, this study looked for the components of performance domain of classes for gifted in mathematics and then analyzed one teacher's 12 lessons in terms of the components. The features of the lessons included the establishment of classroom atmosphere by considering the characteristics of mathematically gifted students, the introduction of or expansion to mathematically enriched tasks, promotion to mathematically higher thinking, and emphasis of mathematical pattern, connections, and utility. This study is expected for researchers to provide a practical case on how to analyze elementary classes for gifted in mathematics. It also helps teachers who teach gifted students to develop professional vision of mathematics instruction and to increase their classroom expertise.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the digital literacy of pre-service home economics education teachers by designing and applying 'teaching materials and methods of home economics education' class using the Metaverse platform in virtual classes during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this purpose, six lessons of the 'Teaching Materials and Methods of Home Economics Education' classes were designed and applied as a class using the Metaverse platform, and the effectiveness was analyzed. In this study, three types of classes(TBL, discussion, and PBL) were developed and evaluated. The results of the study showed that most of the learners were satisfied with the classes utilizing the Metaverse platform, and the effectiveness of the classes was shown in terms of learner-instructor interaction and the realism of actual classroom cases. Based on these results, it is expected that various home economics education classes utilizing metaverse platforms will be developed and applied to school sites to increase the realism of lessons.

  • COVID-19 has brought major changes to school education. Although it was attempted to guarantee students' right to learn through romote learning, the limitations of remote learning compared to face-to-face classes were clear. Nevertheless, the method of remote learning is undoubtedly a learning method that needs to be continuously developed in terms of being able to consider separated time and space and enabling learners to learn individually and autonomously. Therefore, in this study, real-time romote learning cases were analyzed at the elementary school stage, and problems in real-time remote classes were discovered and improved through teacher interviews. The problems with real-time remote classes in elementary school unit classes examined through examples are: First, that the proportion of teacher activity is high due to the anxiety of the unfamiliar environment of remote classes, and second, even though it is a real-time interactive class, it It was impossible to provide feedback. As a solution to this, it is necessary to consider the basic class steps (introduction-deployment-organization) and the use of class tools to provide appropriate communication and feedback was suggested.

  • This research is a case study in which teachers tried to improve classes through online class analysis and self-evaluation in elementary school mathematics classes using a checklist of class reflection based on fair access, autonomy, initiative, and evaluation areas in the TRU analysis framework of Schoenfeld (2016). As a result, it was confirmed that the teacher's fair participation, student autonomy, initiative, feedback, and evaluation areas improved teaching methods during the short time. Therefore, if you want to improve classes in relatively short period of time, you can see the effect of some improvement only by self-evaluation. However, continuous improvement of teaching methods require the help of a teacher communities including experts or critical colleagues, and a longer-term case study.

  • Mathematical communication has been emphasized not only as the process of learning mathematics but also as the objective of mathematics education. However, little studies have been conducted with regard to what to consider and how to implement in the actual classroom for promoting mathematical communication. Given this background, this paper implemented a mathematics instruction in each of 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade classrooms in which specific learning objectives were considered to promote discourse-based mathematical communication. It then analyzed the degree by which such learning objectives were achieved and the linguistic interactions between the teacher and students in each classroom. This paper finally provided issues and suggestions for effective discourse-based instruction in mathematics classroom by analyzing similarities and differences among the three classrooms.

  • Interest in creativity and fusion in education has led to a lot of research on integrated education. Most of those research were related to integrated education model and educational contents development, so there were insufficient research on planning a course for integrated education. In this study, we developed an integrated education framework as an guidance for teachers on how to plan a course for integrated education. With this, we analyzed successful cases of integrated education. In the result of analysis, we figured out the relations and characteristics between three course types of subjects and four participation types of teachers. On the findings, we suggested an integrated education framework composed of four stages focused on course plan and proposed some considerations for each stage.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the cases related with PBL and to suggest the activation plan of LAI based on the derived results. The analysis objects were the PBL cases which have been performed from 2000 to 2018 in Korean schools. The PBL cases were analysed in the aspects of school levels, target grades, subject clusters, teaching patterns, information sources, cooperative teaching status, library cooperative teaching status, and educational effects. The results were like these; 1)The PBL was applied at the elementary schools the most, the next middle schools, and high schools. 2)The teaching pattern was the exclusive teaching the most, and the next pattern was team teaching with other teacher, and the lowest pattern was with librarian teacher. 3)The subject cluster was natural science cluster the most and the next was the human & social science cluster and the art, music and physical education cluster. 4)The PBL performed with school library was low. 5)The main effects of PBL were the improvements of academic achievement, learning satisfaction degree, creative ability, problem-solving ability, and self-directed learning capability. As the results, it's proposed that it's important for librarian teachers to have the aggressive attitude for the activation of LAI as well as the cooperation with PBL subject teachers from the planning step to the evaluation.
