This study is to suggest some improvement directions of the criteria for the management evaluation in order to contribute to the achievement of lasting value of the continuous development and publicity in regard to the public library means-efficiency. To this end, This study analyzed the means-efficiency evaluation criteria via theoretical review on business analysis of private enterprise and the analysis framework based on it. The improvement of evaluation criteria in regard to efficiency for the continuous development of public library are as follows. 1) Regardless of domestic and foreign, an efficiency index in the performance evaluation index of public library is absolutely insufficient. The sufficient indexes measuring efficiency which is appropriate for the concept of performance should be developed. 2) A flow data representing input and performance in certain time period is insufficient. Therefore, evaluation index consisted of flow data should be more developed. 3) Long term stock data is excluded in the term cost as it is the cost used for the long term such as fixed assets. However, it is useful as input data, which is realized through the perfect accounting.

This study attempts to evaluate and compare the land consumption efficiencies of various urban transport modes, utilizing the time-area method. With the careful considerations of travel conditions and modal characteristics, equations for the computation of time-area for various different modes are derived. With the appropriate assumed values of parameters, time-area consumptions per person per km for each mode both for peak and off-peak situations are computed and evaluated. The relationships between the time-area consumed and operating speed for each mode are graphically demonstrated and discussed. An example of the time-area consumed for a hypothetical commuter round-trip using various modes are also presented in order to clearly show the consumption of parking requirements by specific modes. It shows that regardless of facilities used, auto users are by far the worst in terms of area efficiency and that transit, especially rail rapid transit, is a superior mode. Pedestrian and bicycle, though consuming more than expected, also demonstrate the advantage in case of a short-distance trip in terms of area efficiency compared with the bus transit modes.

LSM은 다음 세대에 요구되는 초고속운송수단의 조건을 골고루 갖추고 있으므로 이에 대한 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이에 따라 초고속열차를 개발하고 있는 서독, 일본 등이 모두 LSM을 채택하고 있고, 도심에서 운행되는 중속의 운송수단으로까지 그 영역을 확대하고 있는 TR-07을 시험하는 중이고 일본에서도 상업운전이 가능한 길이 45km의 야마나시실험선을 1994년까지 건설할 계획이다. 이와같은 추세는 자성재료의 발달, 효율적인 발달, 효율적인 전력변환방식의 개발, 성능이 우수한 초전도선 및 냉각시스템의 개발에 따라 더욱 가속화 될 것으로 예상되며, 경제활동영역의 증가에 따라서 더욱 빠른 교통수단이 요구되는 국가적인 필요성도 중요한 요인이 될 것이다. 세계적인 추세와 필요성을 감안할 때에 국내에서도 LSM에 대한 기초연구의 필요성이 높다고 생각된다.

Until now, in planning and constructing KTX and the Express Way, the connectivity and transfer between these facilities have not been considered. In this study the effect of mode choice behavior by connecting KTX and the Express Way is analyzed through estimating Multinomial Logit Model and Binary Logit Model. The SP and RP surveys to develop these models were carried out and the data were selected from the passengers using the KTX station, Express Bus Terminals and Rest Areas in the Express Way. To test the effect of connectivity and transfer in the field, the case study for Dongtan KTX station was carried out. According to the results, connecting the KTX station and the Express Way has the effect of increasing the demand by 30%. And this is caused by saving about 120 minutes of traveling time from Seoul to Pusan. This study shows that the connectivity and transfer can increase the efficiency of transportation system and the improvement in the mobility and accessibility will maximize the usages of these two facilities.

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the social costs induced by various transport modes such as truck, rail and sea vessel. For this purpose, we introduce the damage function of each transport modes, and estimate social costs for 10 items using Meta Analysis. As a results, this study can find that shipping is the most efficient transport mode because it gives the lowest social costs among them. This study also find that the iso-cost transport distance that gives the equal social costs between the transport modes. Our methodology can be thought somewhat inferior to the Contingent Valuation Methods, however the advantage of this methodology is that we can decomposite the total social costs into item by item and can apply it to other researches.

21세기 한국절도 중흥! 전철화로 승부한다. 우리나라에서 전기와 궤도를 이용하여 대중교통수단이 등장한 것은 1899년도이다. 그러나 대량교통수단인 열차가 등장하면서 점차 쇠퇴해지던 전기철도는 수많은 애환과 비화를 등에 두고 자취를 감추었다. 이후 정부의 적극적인 지원 아래 전기철도에 대한 필요성이 제기되면서 1973년 6월 20일 산업선이 개통, 한국철도 100년사의 한 획을 그으면서 본격적인 전철화시대를 맞이하게 되었고 곧이어 1974년 경인$\cdot$경수 수도권 전철이 개통되어 획기적인 교통수단으로 등장하면서 전철은 이제 없어서는 안될 우리와 가장 친숙한 교통수단으로 대두되었다. 특히 교통난 문제, 환경오염 문제 등이 시급히 해결해야 할 국가의 주요 정책과제로 대두되고 있는 현실에서는 환경에 친화적이고 국가 에너지를 효율적으로 이용할 수 있으며 안전성과 신속성, 쾌적성, 편리성을 두루 갖춘 대중교통수단으로서 여러 가지 이점을 갖고 있는 전기철도가 교통문제 해결의 최선의 대안으로 제시되고 있다.

Public bicycles are a representative eco-friendly transportation means that can reduce carbon emissions and play an important role in first/last mile mobility and that can be linked to public transportation in the future MaaS era. In 2008, Changwon City started operating donor bicycles for the first time in Korea. However, as the infrastructure of public bicycles has expanded without a theoretical basis for over 10 years, operating costs are increasing due to a decrease in operational efficiency, which makes it difficult to quantitatively expand the service. In this study, a method for calculating the number of stands suitable for the use of public bicycles was presented, and an efficiency index was developed to evaluate the efficiency of public bicycle infrastructure. The method presented in this study was found by examining the relationship between numbers of rentals and returns of public bicycles and the number of bicycle holders. It is expected that the results can be used by other local governments.

3자물류 시장의 급부상, 운송업계의 경쟁가열화, 운송경로의 다양화 및 글로벌화가 추구되면서 복합운송을 고려한 수송계획의 효율화가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 국제물류에서 이루어지고 있는 복합운송을 고려한 최적수송계획 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 화물과 경유지의 고려는 운송수단에 따라 동적으로 변화하는 NP-hard문제로써 가지치기 알고리즘(pruning algorithm)을 이용하여 문제를 단순화시키고, 운송수단을 제약조건으로 한 휴리스틱 최단경로 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이를 부산항에서 로테르담항까지 실제로 사용되는 경로문제에 적용해 봄으로써 본 알고리즘의 효율성을 검증하였다.

이제 통신은 컴퓨터의 자원을 효율적으로 운용해주는 수단이 아니라 사용자의 생활을 편리하게 도와주는 삶의 일부로서 자리잡게 되었으며 인터넷을 통하여 물건을 사고 팔며 타인과 대화를 하고, 필요한 정보를 얻으며 사업을 영위하는 이른바 사이버 시대이다. 컴퓨터와 통신의 통합의 산물로서 최근 널리 보급되기 시작한 것이 인터넷 팩스와 인터넷 폰이다. 이들은 널리 사용되고 있는 통신 수단인 팩스와 전화를 인터넷 상에서보다 저렴하게 서비스하고자 하는 것이다.

본 연구는 우리나라 제주도의 운송수단별 물동량을 중심으로 제주물류 현황을 분석하였으며 이로부터 제주 물류의 문제점을 식별하여 제주물류의 효율성을 개선하기 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.
