Effect of Forced-air circulation of ambient Fruit on the Occurrence Fermented-fruit and Fruit Quality of Oriental Melon(Cucumis melo L. var. makuwa Mak.) (과실부위 송풍이 참외의 품질 및 발효과 발생에 미치는 영향)

  • The experiment was conducted to investigate the relationship between $Ca^{2+}$ uptake and development of fermented fruit through the forced-air circulation of ambient fruit. Air circulation of ambient fruits were adjusted with 0.3m/sec wind velocity for three hours a day from 10:00 to 13:00. Treatments consisted of 0, 10 day, 20 day, 30 day of forced air circulation of ambient fruit. Although the results varied depend on the duration forced air circulation, in general, treated fruit increased fruit weight, flesh thickness, fruit hardness, soluble solids, and chromaticity, and decreased the number of fermented-fruit. $Ca^{2+}$ content in fruit.

The Milling Characteristics of Cutting Type Rice Milling Machine Depending on the Number of a Cutting Roller's Air Vent and Blowing Velocity (절삭식 정미기의 절삭롤러 통풍구 수와 송풍속도에 따른 정백특성)

  • This study aimed to identify milling characteristics depending on the number of a cutting roller's air vent and blowing velocity to remove rice bran by the cutting type milling machine which can minimize the conventional milling process. The level of whiteness was found to be $38{\pm}0.5$ in all the conditions, showing consistent whiteness levels during milling. The rice temperatures turned out to be 15.4 and $14.6^{\circ}C$ which were rather low-level under the conditions of the cutting roller with 3 vents and blowing velocities of 35 and 40 m/s respectively. Cracked rice ratio was 2.13% under the conditions of the cutting roller with 3 vents and a blowing velocity of 35 m/s. Broken rice ratio showed the range of 0.762-0.869%, reflecting a low level. Turbidity after milling was decreased, as blowing velocity became faster. Energy consumption for milled rice production was decreased, as blowing velocity became faster. The optimum milling condition for cutting type milling machine depending on air vent number of cutting roller and blowing velocity was found to be 3 vents and 35 m/s.

  • 지하구는 도시의 신경망이라 할 수 있는 통신, 전력, 상수도, 난방, 쓰레기 처리시설 등 도시 운용/관리를 위한 주요시설물을 안전하게 수용하고, 유지 관리하기 위한 시설로 IT기술을 이용하여 수용된 시설을 효과적으로 유지/관리하고, 재난으로부터 안전하게 보호함과 동시에 최소의 비용과 에너지로 수용된 시설물을 유지관리하기 위한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지하구(공동구, 통신구, 전력구)의 운용 및 유지관리와 지하구에서 발생될 수 있는 각종 재난에 대응하기 위한 지하구 운용 및 유지관리에 대해 알아보고, 지하구 내부에 수용된 시설물을 효과적으로 유지관리하고 재난에 신속히 대응하기 위한 지하구 환경모니터링 시스템에 대해 기술 하고자 한다. 지하구 환경모니터링 시스템은 지하구 내부에는 전력, 상수도, 통신, 난방 등 다양한 시설물이 수용되어 있으며, 이러한 시설물의 부식, 고장 등으로부터 보호하기 위해 지하구내부의 환기시스템의 송풍기와 지하수와 기상재해로 인한 지하구 및 수용시설물의 침수를 막기 위한 양수펌프에 대해 실시간 상태모니터링 통해 송풍기 및 펌프의 고장여부를 판단하여 관리자에게 알림으로써 관리자가 신속하게 대응 할 수 있도록 하였다. 송풍기의 제어는 지하의 내부와 외부에 설치된 온/습도 센서를 통해 지하구 내부환경을 최적으로 유지할 수 있도록 함으로써 쾌적한 지하 내부환경 유지하고, 급/배기가 필요할 경우에만 송풍기를 가동함으로써 에너지를 절약 할 수 있으며, 화재, 침수 등에 대한 재난시 환풍기의 급/배기, 정지 등을 신속하게 제어할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 지하구내부에서 발생된 재난을 유/무선을 이용하여 신속하게 지하구 주변의 장치(U-Pole 또는 통합컨트롤러)를 통해 경보를 전파함으로써 주변 시민들이 안전하게 대피할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 지하구 환경모니터링 시스템을 검증하기 위해 실제 지하구 및 실험실에 시스템 및 Test Board을 설치하여 운용시험을 실시 하였다.

Evaluation of Composting Characteristics According to the Air Supply Change in Farm-Sized Swine Manure (농가규모 양돈분뇨 퇴비화시 공기공급량 변화에 따른 퇴비 특성 평가)

  • Swine manure has been recognized as a organic sources for composting and many research was conducted to efficiently utilize and treat. This study was to evaluate a feasibility for producing swine manure compost under various treatment with mixture of swine manure and saw dust. Treatments were designed as follows; non aerated composting pile(REF), aerated composting pile of $100L/m^3$(EXP1), and aerated composting pile of $150L/m^3$(EXP2). The total days of fermentation were 28 days and each samples were collected at every 7 days from starting of composting. Temperature sensors were installed under 30~40cm from the surface of composting pile. Inner temperature in composting piles of EXP1 and EXP2 was rapidly increased to $67{\sim}75^{\circ}C$ within 1~2 days. The elevated temperatures found during the thermophilic phase are essential for rapid degradation of organic materials. While swine manure composted, moisture content, total nitrogen, EC of EXP1, EXP2 in sample at 28 days were lower than those of REF. But, pH and organic matter of EXP1, EXP2 in sample at 28 days were higher than those of REF. After finishing fermentation experiment, maturity was evaluated with germination test. Calculated germination index(GI) at REF, EXP1 and EXP2 were 23.49, 68.50 and 51.81, respectively. The values of germination index were higher at EXP1 and EXP2 which is aerated composting piles than REF which is non aerated composting pile. According to the results, composting process by aerated static pile compost had significant effect on the reduction of required period for composting. Supplying adequate amount of air to compost swine manure will greatly reduce composting period.

발효조건에 따른 동물성 유기물의 분해 특성

  • 1.퇴비 온도의 상승에 비례하여 폐사계 체내의 온도도 상승하여 퇴적식 퇴비단의 경우 $55^{\circ}C$내외의 고온지속기간이 약 30일정도 유지되었다. 반면에 토양 중에 매립된 폐사계의 체내 온도는 발효 전 기간 동안 $30^{\circ}C$ 이상으로 상승하지 못한 채 주변토양 온도와 거의 비슷한 수준을 유지하였다. 토양온도는 외기온의 변화에 즉각적인 반응을 보이지 않았다. 2. 시험용 발효조 내에서의 송풍여부에 따른 퇴비의 발효온도 변화추이는 송풍 처리구에서는 퇴비화 3일째에 최고온도 $68^{\circ}C$를 기록한 반면에 무송풍구에서는 퇴비화 5일째에 최고온도 $72^{\circ}C$를 기록하였다. 3. 퇴비단 표층에서 채취된 시료에서 검출된 $H_2S$$CH_3$SH 농도는 송풍 처리구에 있어서는 퇴비화 개시 후 20일 경과 후 각 각 28.5, 16.0 ppb 수준을 나타냈고 35일 경과 시에는 각각 57.7, 11.7 ppb, $CH_3SH$의 경우에는 23.7, 9.9 ppb 수준의 발생량을 기록하는 등 전반적으로 송풍처리구가 무송풍 처리구에 비해 악취가스의 발생량이 상대적으로 낮았다. 4. 폐사계를 밀폐용기 내에서 발표 시 수거된 침출수 중의 미생물 수가 토양매립 상태 하에서 수거된 침출수 중의 미생물 수보다 더 적은 경향을 보이고 있다. 5. 퇴비단 내에서 발효에 따른 폐사계 중량은 최초 3일간에 급격히 감소하고 시간의 경과에 따라 그 감소속도는 줄어든다. 발효온도가 높을수록 조직의 분해속도가 빨라지고 폐사계의 중량감소 속도도 빨라졌다. 6. 일반 퇴비와 폐사계를 발효시킨 퇴비 사이에 비료성분과 중금속 함량의 유의적인 차이는 발견되지 않았다.

Effects of Spray Times and Ventilation Method on the Seedling Growth of Fruit Vegetables (관수회수 및 송풍처리가 과채류의 묘 생장에 미치는 영향)

  • A multipurpose operating system was developed to adjust both spray times and ventilation method without a configuration of the moving path and the type of the greenhouse. The multipurpose working system proved to be a reliable system for testing the growth quality of the fruit vegetables in the greenhouse. The results are as follows. The first leaf, diameter of a stem, leaf area, and average stem diameter in the Cucumber seedling growth were repressed by high-speed ventilation, but was not repressed by spray times. The first leaf in the Tomato seedling growth was repressed as ventilation velocity was high, but the average stem diameter was not repressed. While the Tomato was given water three times a day, the diameter of a stem and the leaf area were increased as ventilation speed became higher. However, those were different other factors. The Tomato leaf area was larger when given water twice a day than that in hand spray, but showed no difference with ventilation speed. The first leaf, the diameter of a stem and the leaf area of a Red pepper were lower in automatic spraying with ventilation than those in hand spray.

  • 본연구는 건조에 필요한 열과 공기를 열원으로부터의 자연대류만에 의존하는 간역화력건조기의 성능향상을 도모하기 위하여 실시되었으며 옥수수를 대상으로 모형실험을 통하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 1. 건조기 화구의 공기열입구의 크기는 송풍량에 영향을 미치며 공기의 유입속도가 16m/min 이하가 되도록 충분히 만들어야 한다. 2. 곡물층을 통과하는 송풍량은 곡물층의 두께가 클수록 증가하며 송풍량과 곡물층 두께와의 관계는다음식으로 나타났다. $q=CD^{-k}$ 3. 송풍량은 실험범위내에서는 열원으로부터 곡물층의 높이와 가열공기의 온도상승에 따라 각각 직선적으로 증가하였다. 4. 송풍량은 곡물층의 두께, 열원으로부터의 곡물의 높이 및 가열공기의 온도상승에 의하여 옥수수층의 경우 다음과 같이 추정될 수 있다. $ q=0.00265H(\Delta T) D^{-0.76}$ 5. 바람이 송풍량에 미치는 영향은 매우 커서 8km/hr의 풍속을 가진 바람이 유입구측으로부터 볼 때 송풍량은 바람이 없을 때보다 무려 5배나 증가하였다. 6. 건조실의 전후방간의 가열공기의 온도차이는 열원으로부터 곡물층의 높이가 낮을수록 증가하였으며 이 현상은 바람이 불 때 더욱 현저하게 나타났다. 7. 건조기의 벽면을 통한 열손실은 열원으로부터 곡물층의 높이와 가열공기의 온도상승에 따라 각각 직선적으로 증가하였다.

Effects of Method, Number of Times for Spraying and! Ventilation Condition on the Growth in Greenhouse (관수방법, 관수회수 및 송풍처리에 따른 초화류의 생장에 미치는 영향)

  • On this study, a multipurpose operating system was developed to adjust a configuration of a moving path which have no connection with a form of greenhouse. To being performance the multipurpose working system, we have experienced growth quality on the plants in greenhouse. Some of the results are as follows. While watering by the hand spray. the condition of plant was generally no good. It was shown that plant height and leaf area were all high without wind during watering by the automatic spray. The effect to retrain a plant growth was high as a ventilation was strong. The diameter of a plant stem was small without ventilation condition during watering 3 times by automatic spray. The number of leaf was relatively large during 3 times by automatic spray compared to 2 times by automatic spray or hand spray. Growth of plant was fast as the times of spray were large.

Changes in Quality of Hanwoo Bottom Round under Different Freezing and Thawing Conditions (한우육의 냉동 및 해동 조건에 따른 품질 변화)

  • This study examined the effects of freezing and thawing conditions on quality of Hanwoo bottom round. The beef samples were frozen by air blast freezing at $-20^{\circ}C$ or ethanol immersion freezing at $-70^{\circ}C$ and then stored at $-20^{\circ}C$ for 10 days. After 10 days of storage, the frozen samples were thawed with air blast thawing at $4^{\circ}C$ or water immersion thawing at $4^{\circ}C$ and subjected to subsequent analyses of drip loss, water holding capacity, thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS), volatile basic nitrogen (VBN), total aerobic bacteria, and microstructure. Drip loss significantly increased in samples treated with air blast freezing compared to ethanol immersion freezing, whereas freezing and thawing processes had no significant impact on water holding capacity of the samples. Thawing conditions had a much stronger influence on the TBARS and VBN of the samples than freezing conditions. There was no significant difference in the population of total aerobic bacteria among the four samples subjected to one freeze-thaw cycle. In addition, to analyze the effects of freeze-thaw cycle on the quality of beef, three freeze-thaw cycles were performed during storage. Multiple freeze-thaw cycles increased drip loss, TBARS, and VBN and decreased water holding capacity, accelerating microstructural damage. These data indicate that Hanwoo bottom round can be rapidly frozen and thawed by using ethanol immersion freezing and water immersion thawing methods with minimal impact on meat quality.

Studies on Management of Effective Temperature and Humidity in Greenhouse at Summer Season (하절기 효율적인 하우스 온도 습도 관리에 관한 연구)

  • It is necessary to effective temperature and humidity management for normal growth of crops in protected cultivation during the summer season. Because the highest temperature of vinyl house inhibit normal growth of crop and decrease of crop production or marketability in summer season. Finally, the vinyl house was impossible some crop cultivation in summer season. This study was conducted to investigate effective and economic method for temperature drop in protected cultivation during the summer season. 1. In medium size vinyl house(5$\times$13$\times$3m), the effect of temperature drop appeared the highest in treatment of shading with aluminium thermal curtain+fog system+ventilation with fan. The effect of temperature drop was about 1$0^{\circ}C$ lower than outer air temperature and about 4$^{\circ}C$ lower than outer soil temperature. 2. The effect of temperature drop according to shading with aluminium thermal curtain+fog system+ventilation with fan during the highest temperature of summer season Jul., 20 to Aug., 21 was appeared about 8$^{\circ}C$ lower than outdoor above ground(1.2m) and about 7$^{\circ}C$ lower than outdoor surface ground. 3. The changes of solar radiation during a day according to shading with aluminium thermal curtain+ventilation with fan and shading with black curtain+ventilation with fan treatments was appeared respectively about 29.3%, 32.5% of outdoor solar radiation a fine day and respectively about 27.4%, 31.8% of outdoor solar radiation a cloudy day.
