in a software development, the design or architecture prior to implementing the software is essential for the success. This paper presents a case that we successfully designed a software architecture of radiation monitoring system (RMS) for HANARO research reactor currently operating in KAERI by applying the quality attribute-driven design method which is modified from the attribute-driven design (ADD) introduced by Bass[1]. The quality attribute-driven design method consists of following procedures: eliciting functionality and quality requirements of system as architecture drivers, selecting tactics to satisfy the drivers, determining architectures based on the tactics, and implementing and validating the architectures. The availability, maintainability, and interchangeability were elicited as duality requirements, hot-standby dual servers and weak-coupled modulization were selected as tactics, and client-server structure and object-oriented data processing structure were determined at architectures for the RMS. The architecture was implemented using Adroit which is a commercial off-the-shelf software tool and was validated based on performing the function-oriented testing. We found that the design method in this paper is an efficient method for a project which has constraints such as low budget and short period of development time. The architecture will be reused for the development of other RMS in KAERI. Further works are necessary to quantitatively evaluate the architecture.

This paper presents correlation-based automatic image captioning. Given a training set of annotated images, we want to discover correlations between visual features and textual features, so that we can automatically generate descriptive textual features for a new unseen image. We develop models with multiple design alternatives such as 1) adaptively clustering visual features, 2) weighting visual features and textual features, and 3) reducing dimensionality for noise sup-Pression. We experiment thoroughly on 10 data sets of various content styles from the Corel image database, about 680MB. The major contributions of this work are: (a) we show that careful weighting visual and textual features, as well as clustering visual features adaptively leads to consistent performance improvements, and (b) our proposed methods achieve a relative improvement of up to 45% on annotation accuracy over the state-of-the-art, EM approach.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of reference price, price rationale and price-quality inference of consumer on the evaluation of apparel quality. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response sheet. The stimuli were six print ads, which was manipulated by reference price and price rationale for a jacket of national brand. This study used a 2(reference price: offer and non offer)$\times$3(price rationale: non offer, stock disposal, sales promotion) $\times$2(price-quality inference of consumer: high and low level) between-subjects experiment. Subjects were 371 female university students. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, ANOVA and t-test. The results were as follows. First, three apparel attributes were identified: sewing/fabrics and label by factor analysis. Second, the significant interaction effects of reference price, price rationale and price-quality inference of consumer were found on evaluating quality of sewing/fabrics and label of apparel. So, reference price effect differed to depending on type of price rationale and levels of price-quality inference. Third, the significant main effect of price-quality inference of consumer existed on evaluating construction quality of apparel.

The clustering characteristics for a number of classes, and defining the inheritance relations between the classes is a difficult and complex problem in an early stage of object oriented software development. We discuss a traditional iterative approach for the reuse of the existing classes in a library and an integrated approach to creating a number of new classes presented in this study. This paper formulates a character-istic clustering problem for zero-one integer programming and presents a network solution method with illustrative examples and the basic rules to define the inheritance relations between the classes. The network solution method for a characteristic clustering problem is based on a distance parameter between every pair of objects with characteristics. We apply the approach to a real problem taken from industry.

The purpose of the present study is to suggest the meta data of the attribute mapping for interoperability from IFC to CityGML. For this, we analyzed the interoperability issue including the neutral information model structure such as IFC, CityGML. To solve the interoperability problem between IFC and CityGML model which is the neutral GIS format, We proposed the meta data including the mapping rule. The meta data is consists of the connection information between BIM and GIS model, the mapping rule based on the perspective of the use-case, the operator and the attribute. By using this, XML to represent the meta data is defined and the information mapping system is developed.

This paper presents the information retrieval system which can retrieve the most appropriate answer sentence for user queries by using the concept and the attribute for the knowledge retrieval. The system analyzes the user query into the Boolean queries with the concept and the attribute and then retrieve the relevant documents in the indexing set of answer documents. Users can retrieve the relevant answer sentences from the relevant documents. For this, the answer documents indexed by the concept and the attribute are segmented by each sentence respectively. Thus, the segmented sentences are analyzed into the concept and the attribute of which the relevance degree with indexing units of documents is evaluated. Then, the system indexes the location of answer sentences. In the experiment, we evaluate the performance of our answer retrieval system against 100 user queries and show the experimental results.

기업의 비즈니스 프로세스는 날로 변화하여 다양해지고 있으며, 특히 e-비즈니스의 활성화로 인하여 더욱 복잡해지고 전문화되었다. 워크플로우 관리시스템은 이러한 비즈니스 프로세스를 실행, 운영, 통제하는 시스템으로서 발전해왔다. 이러한 워크플로우 관리 시스템의 장점을 이용하기 위해서는 반드시 프로세스의 분석과 모델링을 통하여 워크플로우 정의가 입력되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 프로세스를 비교하는 척도를 개발함으로써 다수의 모델간의 차이를 분석할 수 있는 방법을 제시하며, 이를 통하여 협력적으로 워크플로우 정의를 설계하는 방법론을 제시한다. 즉, 프로세스의 속성을 분류하고 이 속성의 단계적 척도를 개발하여 다수 모델간의 차이를 분석함으로써, 워크플로우 정의를 설계할 때 다수의 모델간에 협의가 가능한 방법론을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 방법론은 다음과 같은 장점이 있다. 먼저 프로세스 정의에 있어 그룹 다이나믹스 방법을 도입하여 보다 정확하고 비용이 적은 프로세스 설계 방법론을 제시하였다. 또한 비즈니스 프로세스간 차이를 비교할 수 있는 척도를 통하여 기존의 프로세스 모델간 또는 설계되는 프로세스 모델의 비교가 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 이러한 본 연구의 방법론을 통하여 워크플로우 관리 시스템에 보다 효율적이고 정확한 프로세스 정의가 가능할 것이다.

In this paper, You can design drawing to safekeep and manage equipments in order to utilize efficiently by making use of Visio, and can convert stored data into Office data after inputting user attributes of each equipment. that means that you can analyze each data by using functions of Excel after changing Visio safe attributes into Excel data and XML data, and control and utilize data effectively by converting XML data into DB ones. Additionally. you can use on deliveration of useful information on shopping mall. At last, we present how to share and utilize transformed equipments on the web by designing and making and transforming Data type for good management of equipments of computers existed in university.

There exist several versions of schema and instances created under different versions of the schema concurrently in the database in schema evolution environments. This paper proposes a mechanism for accessing instances regardless of versions in schema evolution environments in object relational databases. Access handling routines are used in accessing to the instances through the undefined attributes in the versions in which they were created. The change of semantic information of attributes is supported. Access handling routines are defined for each pair of semantics rather than defining backdate/update functions for each pair of versions of a class. A query language that accommodates version and semantic information is defined through the extension of the primitive SQL format.

최근 시스템이 점차 대형화되고 복잡화되면서 시스템의 요구사항은 소프트웨어 프로젝트의 성패를 결정하는 중요한 문제로 인식되었다. 특히 소프트웨어 품질에 관심이 높아지면서 고품질의 소프트웨어 개발을 위해 노력이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 노력의 일환으로 소프트웨어의 품질 속성을 나타내는 비기능 요구사항을 추출.분석을 위해 연구가 진행되고 있으나 극히 미진한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 이를 위해 소프트웨어 개발의 초기단계인 요구사항 단계에서 비기능 요구사항을 분석하고 이를 설계 단계에서 사용할 수 있도록 기술하는 방안을 제시한다.
