TV Anytime Forum 규격 및 현황

  • 만약 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 원하는 시간에 TV를 통해서 볼 수 있게 된다면, 다시 말해서 보고 싶을 때, 보고 싶은 방송을 포함한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 원하는 시간에 바로 볼 수 있게 된다면 사용자는 방송시간에 맞추어 TV를 보지 않아도 되고 원하는 콘텐츠를 검색하느라 시간을 보낼 필요도 없어질 것이다. 예약 녹화의 경우에는 시간정보를 가지고 미리 예약을 해야 하는 경우이므로 이와는 다른 경우라 하겠다. 이러한 서비스는 바로 디지털 콘텐츠와 이를 가정에서 저장할 수 있는 장치의 발달이 바탕이 되고 있다.(표 1 생략, 원문이미지 참조) 표 1은 영국의 BBC사에서 1998년에 조사한 자료로 디지털 멀티미디어 데이터를 저장하고 재생할 수 있는 저장장치의 가격과 용량의 전망을 나타낸다. 여기에서 데이터는 5.5 Mbps급의 MPEG-2 스트림을 기준으로 하였다. 표 1에서 보수적 견해는 매 18개월마다, 현실적 견해는 매 10개월마다 동일 가격의 용량이 2배가 되는 것으로 계산한 것이다. 여기서 보듯 저장장치의 가격 대비 성능이 갈수록 나아지고 있어 가정에서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 저장할 수 있는 가정용 서버의 등장이 멀지 않았음을 보여준다. 1999년 가을에 활동을 접은 DAVIC의 마지막 활동이 바로 이러한 저장장치를 이용한 "TV Anytime Service"였다 . Anytime Ser vice란 저장장치를 통해 사용자가 원하는 콘텐츠를 저장해 놓았다가 사용자가 원하는 시간에 언제나 볼 수 있다는 개념이다. 이를 소비자관점에서 보면 Personalized service라고 할 수 있다. 이어 1999년 여름에 창설이 된 "TV Anytime Forum"이라는 단체에서 이러한 저장장치를 이용한 서비스를 위한 환경을 구축하고 있다. TV Anytime Forum은 가정에서 저장장치가 있는 단말인 PDR(Personal Digital Recorder)을 이용한 서비스, 즉 Anytime Service 위한 응용을 가능하게 하기위한 콘텐트 개발자에서부터 가전기기에 이르는 분야에서 Interoperable한 규격을 만들어 보자는 것이 그 목적이다. 특히 여러가지 디지털미디어 전달방식, 예를 들어 DVB, ATSC, ARIB 등에 독립적인 규격을 만드는 것을 원칙으로 하고 있다. 1999년 7월에 첫 번째 회의를 하면서 설립이 되었다. 2001년 말 기준으로 BBC, NHK, Microsoft, Sony, IBM, Phillips, NTT, Intel, Canal+, Tivo, 대우전자, 삼성전자, LG전자, KETI, ETRI 등 콘텐츠 사업자, 방송업자, 네트웍 사업자, 가전업체, 소프트웨어 개발회상에 이르기까지 총 157개 회원사로 구성되어 있으며 년 6회 회의를 개최한다. 2000년 11월에는 서울에서 회의를 개최하였으며 2003년 6월에 다시 한국에서 개최하기로 확정되어 있다. 본 글에서는 이러한 Anytime Service 환경이 구축되었을 때의 각 산업별로 얻을 수 있는 이득에 대해서 알아보고 TV Anytime Forum의 각 Working Group들의 작업 내용들, 그리고 지난 1월에 열렸던 15차 회의의 결과들에 대해서 살펴보고 국내의 TV Anytime 활동에 대해서 간단하게 소개하고 마치도록 하겠다. 현재 디지털 방송기술, 비디오 스트리밍 기술이나 MPEG 등과 같은 기술수준으로도 충분히 이러한 서비스를 시작할 수 있으며 소비자들도 이러한 욕구를 서서히 느끼고 있다. 정보와 서비스를 선택할 수 있게 만들자는 목표를 설정하고 있다. 이러 목표는 통신$.$컴퓨터$.$멀티미디어 기술발전으로 가능하게 되었다.

  • Ontology is an explicit specification of concepts and relationships between concepts in an interest domain. As considered as one of typical knowledge representation methods, ontology is applied to various studies such as information extraction, information integration, information sharing, or knowledge management. In IT based industries, ontology is applied to research on information integration and sharing in order to enhance interoperability between enterprises. In supply chains or logistics, several enterprises participate as business partners to plan movements of goods, and control goods and logistics flows. A number of researches on information integration and sharing for the effective and efficient management of logistics or supply chains have been addressed. In this paper, we address an ontology as a knowledge-base for semantic-based integration of logistics information distributed in the logistics flow. Especially, we focus on developing an ontology that enables to represent and translate semantic meaning of EPC data in the EPC Network applied logistics. We present a scenario for tracing products in logistics in order to show the value of our ontology.

An Electric Load Forecasting Scheme with High Time Resolution Based on Artificial Neural Network (인공 신경망 기반의 고시간 해상도를 갖는 전력수요 예측기법)

  • With the recent development of smart grid industry, the necessity for efficient EMS(Energy Management System) has been increased. In particular, in order to reduce electric load and energy cost, sophisticated electric load forecasting and efficient smart grid operation strategy are required. In this paper, for more accurate electric load forecasting, we extend the data collected at demand time into high time resolution and construct an artificial neural network-based forecasting model appropriate for the high time resolution data. Furthermore, to improve the accuracy of electric load forecasting, time series data of sequence form are transformed into continuous data of two-dimensional space to solve that problem that machine learning methods cannot reflect the periodicity of time series data. In addition, to consider external factors such as temperature and humidity in accordance with the time resolution, we estimate their value at the time resolution using linear interpolation method. Finally, we apply the PCA(Principal Component Analysis) algorithm to the feature vector composed of external factors to remove data which have little correlation with the power data. Finally, we perform the evaluation of our model through 5-fold cross-validation. The results show that forecasting based on higher time resolution improve the accuracy and the best error rate of 3.71% was achieved at the 3-min resolution.

  • Today's world has been changing form post-industrial society to information society, and criteria of human value, also, has been changing from physical to intellectual and sensible. Based on this trend, intellectual and sensible value of a product is becoming more important in comsumer's market than physical value. The environment of product design has been rapidly changing. Users and consumers pursuit sensible satisfaction through their lives based on images of products. As the environment in which a product is used has been more important, companies have placed more emphasis on consumers and users, and are trying to satisfy their consumers by developing products with emphasis on their design, as well as to develop human technology. In ever-changing environment, a question is if sensible design can be developed in product design. Companies could upgrade their competitive power and brand image only if they could develope designs which could satisfy consumers through sensible design approach with a base on systematic research on h~man sensibility. In this context, the purpose of this study was to: investigate consumer's evaluations on and preferences for formative images of products according to the types of human sensibility. This research study placed emphasis on quantitative analysis of consumers' emotional needs to find out consumer's evaluations on and preferences for formative images of products. The researcher reviewed related literature on human sensibility and design, as well as G-Kansei and product design. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed through a statistical program, and highly effective design strategy was investigated through analysis of data and interpretation of the results.

Multiple Regression-Based Music Emotion Classification Technique (다중 회귀 기반의 음악 감성 분류 기법)

  • Many new technologies are studied with the arrival of the 4th industrial revolution. In particular, emotional intelligence is one of the popular issues. Researchers are focused on emotional analysis studies for music services, based on artificial intelligence and pattern recognition. However, they do not consider how we recommend proper music according to the specific emotion of the user. This is the practical issue for music-related IoT applications. Thus, in this paper, we propose an probability-based music emotion classification technique that makes it possible to classify music with high precision based on the range of emotion, when developing music related services. For user emotion recognition, one of the popular emotional model, Russell model, is referenced. For the features of music, the average amplitude, peak-average, the number of wavelength, average wavelength, and beats per minute were extracted. Multiple regressions were derived using regression analysis based on the collected data, and probability-based emotion classification was carried out. In our 2 different experiments, the emotion matching rate shows 70.94% and 86.21% by the proposed technique, and 66.83% and 76.85% by the survey participants. From the experiment, the proposed technique generates improved results for music classification.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the level and effectiveness of youth entrepreneurship and to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurship level and career change perceptions, And suggested ways of mutual cooperation and cooperation for activating entrepreneurship education and career education. The research hypothesis is the effect of entrepreneurship on career recognition, the mediating effect of program satisfaction on entrepreneurship and career awareness, and the difference in entrepreneurship change before and after participation in the program First, all factors such as innovativeness, risk sensitivity, entrepreneurship, autonomy, achievement desire, etc., Which are components of entrepreneurship, have positive influence on career recognition. Second, the mediating effect of program satisfaction on entrepreneurship and career recognition has positive effects on innovativeness, enthusiasm, autonomy and achievement desire. However, the risk sensitivity was not significant. Third, as a result of analyzing the difference of change before and after entrepreneurship education, all components of entrepreneurship were analyzed as positive (+). Considering these findings, it is necessary to improve the current method and content of entrepreneurship education to focus on student participation and experience. Second, it is necessary to coordinate and manage entrepreneurship education councils in government ministries with various stakeholders. Third, it is expected that future-oriented education will be possible if software education, entrepreneurship education and career education are integrated and operated in preparation for the fourth industrial revolution.

  • The Discrete Element Method (DEM) is one of the useful numerical methods to analyze the behavior of the ground formation by computing the motion and interaction using particles. The DEM has not been applied in civil engineering but also a wide range of industrial fields, such as chemical engineering, pharmacy, material science, food engineering, etc. In this study, to review a performance of the spoke-type earth pressure balance (EPB) shield TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine), the commercial software based on the DEM technology was used. An analysis of the TBM during excavation was conducted according to two pre-defined excavation conditions with the different rotation speed of a cutterhead. During the analysis, the resistant torque at the face of the cutterhead, the compressive force at the cutterhead and shield surface, the muck discharge at the screw auger were measured and compared. Upon the two kinds of excavation conditions, the applicability of the DEM analysis was reviewed as a modelling method for the TBM.

인터넷 기반 원스톱서비스 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 -수출컨테이너화물 원스톱서비스 시스템 개발-

  • 오늘날 우리 나라가 당면한 최우선 경제과제중 하나는 물류부문의 혁신을 통한 국가경쟁력 강화라고 할 수 있으며, 이를 위해 정부도 1993년 물류체계 개선을 위한 장기구상으로 ‘화물유통체계 개선 10개년 기본계획’을 수립하여 적극 추진 중에 있다. 그러나 이러한 노력에도 불구하고 PORT-MIS사용자를 상대로 한 설문조사에서는 선박입출항 업무 관련 서류의 40%, 항만시설 사용 업무와 관련된 서류의 31%, 하역업무 관련 서류의 10%만이 EDI를 활용하고 있었다. EDI 활용이 저조한 사유로는 전송시간이 많이 걸리며, EDI 소프트웨어가 작동되지 않으며, 수신확인이 되지 않기 때문이라 응답을 하였다. 이처럼 오늘날 항만물류산업이 겪고 있는 물류 데이타 흐름의 단절적 현상은 시간이 흐를수록 해결될 기미가 보이고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리 나라가 겪고 있는 물류관련 업무를 한번의 데이터 입력으로 해결할 수 있는 원스톱 서비스 시스템개발을 목표로 우선 PORT-MIS EDI 업무를 처리할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 이는 향후 화주, 운송사, 선사, 포워더, 창고업자, 하역회사, 철도청, 화물터미널, 컨테이너 터미널, 해양수산청, 관세청, 출입국관리사무소, 검역소 사이에 서로 교환되는 적하목록, Booking List, 컨테이너 Pick up정보, 위험물 정보, COPINO 정보를 비롯하여 대 관세청 신고 등 수출컨테이너 화물업무의 전반적인 영역으로까지 쉽게 확대할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구결과 구축된 시스템은 원천정보를 중앙의 통합데이터베이스에 저장하여 이를 사용자의 요구에 의해 인터넷을 통해 전달하는 FTP와 웹 EDI 방식을 결합한 하이브리드 형태이다.인터넷으로 주문처리하고, 신속 안전한 배달을 기대한다. 더불어 고객은 현재 자신의 물건이 배달되는 경로를 알고싶어 한다. 웹을 통해 물건을 주문한 고객이 자신이 물건의 배달 상황을 웹에서 모니터링 한다면 기업은 고객으로 공간적인 제약으로 인한 불신을 불식시키는 신뢰감을 주게 된다. 이러한 고객서비스 향상과 물류비용 절감은 사이버 쇼핑몰이 전국 어디서나 우리의 안방에서 자연스럽게 점할 수 있는 상황을 만들 것이다.SP가 도입되어, 설계업무를 지원하기위한 기본적인 시스템 구조를 구상하게 된다. 이와 함께 IT Model을 구성하게 되는데, 객체지향적 접근 방법으로 Model을 생성하고 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 Tool로 사용한다. 단계 4)는 Software Engineering 관점으로 접근한다. 이는 최종산물이라고 볼 수 있는 설계업무 지원 시스템을 Design하는 과정으로, 시스템에 사용될 데이터를 Design하는 과정과, 데이터를 기반으로 한 기능을 Design하는 과정으로 나눈다. 이를 통해 생성된 Model에 따라 최종적으로 Coding을 통하여 실제 시스템을 구축하게 된다.the making. program and policy decision making, The objectives of the study are to develop the methodology of modeling the socioeconomic evaluation, and build up the practical socioeconomic evaluation model of the HAN projects including scientific and technologica

  • This study is the basic data to design development directions and development standards of resources and facilities for establishing provision-oriented marine tourism development plans, and it aims to help develop provision-oriented marine tourism by drawing planning index and considering its priority necessary for provision-oriented marine tourism development. The findings of the study are as follows. As the result of analysis on four aspects, specific standards and plans for marine tourism development index, it showed environmental aspect, socio-cultural aspect, management aspect, and economic aspect in order. According to the result, the environmental aspect is considered important as the plan to solve problems working as inhibition factors instead of local development, due to local culture and environment disruption. Besides, as the result of iult of iuland priority of 13 items w of iure specific factors and specific plans, durability of resource use, iulroveand envisurrf rdings, receptive culacity, conservesidesand transmissidesnvicultures, and iulroveand ein the quality of life, stability of resource use, quality management of tourist attractions, competency intensificesidesof residents, income increase of residents, PR marketing, role of public sectors, increase in the local industry, and increase in employment were shown in order. Software-oriented plans should be made to preserve overall nature of local areas rather than hardware-oriented plans and development of environmental aspect that merely considers preventing environment destruction.

The Characteristics of Location and Business-Services Networks of Venture Firms in Daegu Region (대구지역 벤처기업의 입지와 비즈니스서비스 네트워크 특성)

  • This paper aims to investigate the characteristics of location and business-services networks of venture firms in Daegu region. The regional venture firms are small scale and consist of mainly R&D investment and license new-technology in the category of soft-ware. Since the mid-1990's the firms that were founded by people with higher education and career experience seek diverse growth strategies. those firms concentrate in some regions of dalseo-gu and buk-gu. There are a few difference by types of firm-business, but, on the whole, the princepal location factors of venture firms are accessibility of research institute and university, easy information availability, and use of moderate land. In regard to networks with client firms, the venture firms determine whether to transfer. The result of the characteristics of networks between regional venture firms and business-service enterprises is as follows; the regional venture firms utilize small number of business-service enterprises and use mainly information processing and other computer operation related services and professional, scientific and technical services. In business-service be used by regional venture firms, the frequency of information processing and other computer operation related services, research and development, business support services is much, while the frequency of professional, scientific and technical services is little. Business-service enterprises are distributed mostly in Daegu region and are used owing to lack of technology and knowledge.
