A Review of the motor learning stratige to improve handwriting function in Parkinson's disease (파킨슨병 환자의 Handwriting 기능 향상을 위한 운동학습 전략에 대한 문헌 고찰)

  • Objective : The purpose of the study is to propose the treatment methods for problem of handwriting, micrographia in Parkinsons disease. Methods : For this purpose, foreign literatures on the subjects with Parkinsons disease was researched. Results : The results of this review is summarized as follows. The treatment methods for micrographia were applied to external cue and feedback among motor learning strategies in order to improve motor initiation. The external cues included visual, auditory, and verbal stimulations, and feedback strategy was visual stimulation. For writing with external cue or visual feedback, result in expanding the size of the letters in addition, writing task performance is maintained for a short period without those. Conclusion : Further studies are needed to examine the strategy maintained effect for long periods.

The Effect of Anti-microbial and the Inhibitory Effect of Biofilm Formation and Inflammatory Factors Production of Perillae semen Supercritical Fluid Extracts (초임계 자소자추출물의 항균효과와 바이오필름, 염증매개인자 생성 억제 효능)

  • In this study, we assessed anti-oxidant activity, anti-microbial, inhibition of biofilm formation and inflammatory factors(nitric oxide, interleukin-6, interleukin-8) inhibitory effect of Perillae semen hydrothermal extract(PSW) and three kinds of Perillae semen supercritical fluid extract(PSSs) extracted by controlling temperature with no variation of pressure. Compared with PSW, PSSs had significantly lower minimal inhibitory concentrations(MICs) against Staphylococcus aureus(S. aureus) and the ability of PSSs to inhibit formation of biofilm was also superior. PSSs reduce the production of inflammatory mediator and inflammatory cytokines significantly compared to PSW. We suggest, therefore, Perillae semen supercritical fluid 45℃ extract which showed the best anti-microbial, inhibition of biofilm formation, and inhibition of inflammatory factors production among the supercritical fluid extracts could be used for protecting patients with atopic dermatitis from pruritus and transepidermal water loss as a functional ingredient from nature.

Fabrication and Property of Water Level and Temperature Sensor for Medical Cooling System Using a Highly Sensitive GMR-SV Device (거대자기저항 스핀밸브 소자를 이용한 의료용 냉각기 수위 및 수온 센서의 제작과 특성)

  • We fabricated a sensor for measuring the water level and water temperature using GMR-SV (giant magnetoresistance-spin valve) device, simultaneously. It could be applied to the medical cooling system of the potassium titanylphosphate KTP) laser system for the therapy of a benign prostatic hyperplasia. The middle point of GMR-SV device was set to the near position of a high magnetic sensitivity with 2.8%/Oe. The sensitivity for the water level and water temperature of the fabricated sensor were $400\;m{\Omega}/mm$ and $100\;m{\Omega}/^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • 평판디스플레이의 사이즈 및 그 응용범위가 확대되어 감에 따라, 기존의 근접식 노광장비로는 원하는 성능의 디스플레이소자를 생산하는데 한계에 도달하게 되었다. 최근에는 반도체웨이퍼 생산에 적용되는 투영식분할노광방식 또는 스캔방식의 노광장비가 평판디스플레이소자의 생산에 적용되는 추새인데, 이러한 방식의 노광장비의 핵심기능을 수행하는 모듈 증 마스크스테이지가 있다. 투영식노광 장비의 노광광원(조명광학계)에서 발생된 노광광은 마스크를 통과함으로써 특정패턴을 형성할 수 있는 형태로 변화되고, 투영광학계를 거쳐 피노광재에 조사 된다.(중략)

  • This paper introduces a new DC-DC voltage multiplier using a Dickson's charge pump and a modified voltage doubler. The voltage obtained from a conventional Dickson's chrage pump was reused for accelerating the voltage multiplication and the architecture of the proposed voltage multiplier would not decrease the device reliability of DMOS. The proposed 6-stage voltage multiplier generate about 33V with 3V voltage source. To evaluate the proposed voltage multiplier, simulations were performed with Magna DMOS technology. The simulated voltage multiplication agrees well with a theoretical value, therefore, this paper introduces a new fast voltage multiplier with minimum devices.

  • A new measuring system for ultrasonic spectroscopy was constructed, utilizing PVDF [poly(vinylidene fluoride)] polymer films as wideband transducers. In a test of its performance, this measuring system was successfully applied to study of the nematic-isotropic phase transition in MBBA(p-methoxybenzylidene-p-n-butylan iline) liquid crystal. We could be confirmed that the phase transition in MBBA is $47^{\circ}C$, which is agree with the exciting optical method. The dependence of frequency on the phase transition was not observed, and but Maximum ultrasonic amplitude is measured for the resonance frequency 2MHz in PVDF transducers, These results shows that the spectroscopy with PVDF transducers takes advantage of studying the transient phenomena. When our apparatus is applied in medical purposes, It will be possible diagnostic for sickle-cell anemia and arterial sclerosis.

Growth of $LiTaO_3$ and Fe doped-LiTaO3 single crystal as holographic storage material (홀로그래피 소자재료 $LiTaO_3$단결정 성장)

  • The single crystal of the $LiTaO_3$has large electro-optic effects, so it is applied to optical switch, acousto-optic deflector, and optical memory device as hologram using photorefractive effect. In this study, optic-grade undoped $LiTaO_3$and Fe:LiTaO$LiTaO_3$single crystals were grown by the Czochralski method and optical transmission and absorption spectrums were measured in the wavelength of UV-VIS range. The curie temperature was determined with DSC and by measuring capacitance for the grown undoped crystal and ceramic powder samples of various Li/Ta ratio. In case of having a 48.6 mol% $Li_2O$ as a starting Li/Ta ratio, the results of concentration variations were below 0.01 mol% $Li_2O$ all over the crystal, so it was confirmed that $LiTaO_3$single crystals were grown under congruent melting composition having optical homogeneity. The curie temperature of the Fe:$LiTaO_3$crystal was increased with increased with increased doped Fe concentrations;by the ratio of $7.5^{\circ}C$ increase per Fe 0.1 wt%. Also, the optical transmittance was about 78 %, which was sufficient for optical device.

  • 반도체 소자의 미세화가 진행됨에 따라 고품질의 절연막, 즉 낮은 두께에서 높은 밀도와 낮은 누설 전류를 필요로 하게 되었다. 이를 위해 기존의 화학 기상 증착법을 이용한 절연막 증착의 공정 압력을 낮추어 1 Pa 이하의 공정 압력에서 절연막 증착 공정이 필요로 하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 화학 기상 증착법을 이용하여 최저 0.1 mtorr의 극 저압에서 SiO2 절연막증착 공정을 구현하였고, 증착된 박막의 특성을 평가하였다. Fig. 1은 공정 압력의 변화에 따른 화학 기상 증착 장비의 플라즈마 상태를 나타낸 결과이다. 1.5 mtorr의 공정 압력 까지는 플라즈마의 상태가 균일하게 나타나지만, 그 이하의 압력에서는 플라즈마 균일도가 떨어지는 결과가 나타났다. 이는 기존의 플라즈마 공정을 이용하여 절연막 증착 공정이 어려움을 제시하는 결과이며, 이의 해결을 위해 새로운 형태의 플라즈마 장치가 필요함을 시사한다. Fig. 2는 각각의 공정 압력에 다른 $SiO_2$ 박막의 증착 결과를 AFM을 이용하여 측정한 결과이다. 박막의 표면 거칠기 값은 0.9 mTorr까지는 3 nm 수준이며, 0.1 mTorr에서는 0.4 nm로 측정되었다. 플라즈마 상태가 균일하지 않은 0.1 mTorr에서도 비교적 균일한 박막을 얻을 수 있었으나, 높은 공정 업력에 비해 전체적인 균일도도 낮은 결과이며, 이는 플라즈마 상태를 보완함으로서 해결 가능하다. 측정된 박막의 밀도는 2.311~2.59 g/$cm^3$의 수준으로 벌크 상태의 밀도 값에 근접한 결과를 얻었으며 이는 저압에서 증착한 $SiO_2$ 박막의 품질이 높음을 시사한다. 절연막의 증요한 특성 중 하나인 누설 전류 값은 MIM 구조를 이용하여 측정하였다. 측정된 누설 전류 값은 10~12 A 수준으로 기존 반도체 소자 공정에 적용 가능한 수준이다. 고 품질의 절연체 박막 증착을 위해서는 플라즈마 구조를 보완할 필요가 있으며, 이를 이용하면 반도체 소자 제작에 요구되어 지는 절연막 증착이 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

The Effects of Sojadodamgangkitang on the injured Tracheal tissue induced SO2 in Rats (소자도담강기탕(蘇子導痰降氣湯)이 SO2에 의(依)한 흰쥐의 호흡기(呼吸器) 조직손상(組織損傷)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • This experiment was performed in order to study the effects of Sojadodamgangkitang on the injured tracheal tissue induced $SO_2$ in rats. Healthy adult male rats weighting about 250g were divided into 4 groups-the Normal group, the Control group, the group of Sojadodamgangkitang administration for 5 days after $SO_2$ gas exposure (Sample I), and the group of Sojadodamgangkitang administration for 10 days before and for 5 days after $SO_2$ gas exposure (Sample II). The results were obtained as follows ; 1. In the trachea Control group. the lesion of the ciliated epithelium was severe and the mucus secretion of the respiratory tract was increased iginificantly. 2. In the trachea of Sample I group, the lesion of the ciliated epithelium and the mucus secretion of the respiratory tract were decreased compared with Control group. 3. In the trachea of Sample II group, the lesion of the ciliated epithelium and the mucus secretion of the respiratory tract were decreased compared with Control and Sample I group. According to the above results, Sojadodamgangkitang has significant effect on the injuried tracheal tissue caused by $SO_2$ in rats.
