  • This study empirically examines the differences in attitude and memory effect according to the product knowledge (high knowledge / low knowledge) and temporal distance (near future / far future) in the new product preannouncing strategy of companies through Facebook Respectively. Experiments were conducted by inserting the experiment into a virtual web browser using Facebook 's actual brand fan page and then connecting the experiment to the experimental banner site. As a result of research, when preannouncing new products are released in the near future, low knowledge consumers have made judgments of purchasing decisions because GRM judgments are more favorable than property information (ARM) judgments, but preannouncing is a new product At the time of launch, highly-knowledgeable consumers had a positive effect on the property information (ARM) judgment of the product rather than the comprehensive information (GRM) judgment. In addition, when preannouncing was introduced in the near future, the attitudes of the products between the low-knowledge consumers and the high-knowledge consumers were all positive, but when the new products were launched in the distant future, Product attitude was negative.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of the susceptibility of global consumer culture. As determinants, materialism and self monitoring as psychological variables and fashion clothing product knowledge as clothing-related variable were included. It was hypothesized that both psychological variables and clothing-related variable influence susceptibility of global consumer culture. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul metropolitan area, using convenience sampling, and 311 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing data, exploratory factor analysis using SPSS and confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis using AMOS were conducted. Factor analysis of susceptibility of global consumer culture revealed four dimensions, 'social prestige' factor, 'quality perception' factor, 'conformity to others' factor, and 'conformity to consumption trend' factor. In addition, factor analysis of self monitoring revealed three dimensions, 'center-oriented attention' factor, 'situation-appropriate self-presentation' factor, and 'strategic displays of self-presentation' factor. The results showed that all the fit indices for the variable measures were quite acceptable. In addition, the overall fit of the model suggests that the model fits the data well. Tests of the hypothesized path show that all variables except for the one factor of self monitoring, 'center-oriented attention', and materialism influence all the factors of susceptibility of global consumer culture. The implications of these findings and suggestions for future study are also discussed.

This study develops scales for measuring a consumer's knowledge level and the knowledge level using these scales as well as analyzes the impact of knowledge levels, socio-demographic variables, social capital, and knowledge sharing on participation in the sharing economy. The scales measuring the level of knowledge in the sharing economy were composed of 22 questions for the concept, 30 questions for the characteristics, and 15 questions for the role of the economic parties. Consumer's knowledge level regarding the concept and characteristics of the sharing economy and the role of the economic players was very low. In particular, the knowledge on the concept was insufficient. Women's knowledge on the sharing economy showed higher scores than men. Consumers with higher scores in social capital and knowledge sharing showed higher scores of the knowledge level on the sharing economy than those behind in these two variables. A higher knowledge level of the sharing economy resulted in higher participation in the sharing economy. Issues and directions for future studies on the sharing economy were proposed.

  • The social consciousness on fake reviews has triggered researchers to suggest ways to cope with them by analyzing contents of fake reviews or finding ways to discover them by means of structural characteristics of them. This research tried to collect data from blog posts in Naver and detect habitual patterns users use unconsciously by variables extracted from blogs and blog posts by a machine learning model and wanted to use the technique in predicting fake reviews. Data analysis showed that there was a very high relationship between the number of all the posts registered in the blog of the writer of the related writing and the date when it was registered. And, it was found that, as model to detect advertising reviews, Random Forest is the most suitable. If a review is predicted to be an advertising one by the model suggested in this research, it is very likely that it is fake review, and that it violates the guidelines on investigation into markings and advertising regarding recommendation and guarantee in the Law of Marking and Advertising. The fact that, instead of using analysis of morphemes in contents of writings, this research adopts behavior analysis of the writer, and, based on such an approach, collects characteristic data of blogs and blog posts not by manual works, but by automated system, and discerns whether a certain writing is advertising or not is expected to have positive effects on improving efficiency and effectiveness in detecting fake reviews.
