염분변화에 따른 황복의 산소소비와 암모니아 질소배설

  • 황복(Takifugus obscurus)은 주로 황해에 분포하며 봄철에 서해안으로 흐르는 금강, 한강 및 임진강으로 소상하여 강의 중상류에서 산란하는 소하성어류이다. 특히 황복은 바다와 하천을 오고 가는 관계로 해수뿐만 아니라 민물에서도 양식이 가능한 어종으로 다른 소하성어류와 마찬가지로 염분변화에 따른 삼투조절능력이 매우 우수할 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구는 황복이 급격히 염분을 달리하였을 때 나타나는 생리적 반응을 산소소비량과 암모니아 질소배설량의 변화로 염분변화에 따른 생리적 적응력을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에 사용한 황복은 전장 10cm(체중 15~25g) 전후의 치어로서 염분 32, 22, 12, 및 2 ppt로 조절되어 있는 FRP수조(500 L)에서 2개월간 사육 후, 각기 염분을 달리한(32, 22, 12, 2 ppt) 호흡측정 장치에 황복을 수용하여 산소소비량과 암모니아 질소배설량을 측정하였다. 한편, 사육 시스템내에서의 산소소비와 암모니아 질소의 배설경향을 보기 위하여 염분 16ppt에서 산소소비량과 암모니아 질소배설량을 25시간 관찰하였다. 산소소비 경향은 대체로 염분이 낮을수록 높은 산소소비 경향을 보였는데, 실험염분 32ppt에서는 2~32ppt 사육군 모두 다른 실험염분(22, 12, 2 ppt) 사육군보다 안정되고 낮은 산소소비량을 나타내었다. 그리고 실험염분 22, 12 및 2 ppt에서는 각기 실험염분과 동일한 염분 사육군에서 가장 높은 산소소비량을 나타낸 반면 32 ppt 사육군은 모든 실험염분에서 가장 낮은 산소소비량을 나타내었다. 암모니아 질소의 배설경향은 실험염분 2 ppt를 제외하고는 2 ppt 사육군에서 가장 높은 질소 배설율을 보였으나, 실험염분 2 ppt에서는 오히려 현저히 낮은 암모니아 질소 배설율을 나타내었다. 저 염분(2, 12 ppt)에서 사육한 황복은 22 및 32 ppt에서 사육된 황복에 비해 저염분에 노출될 경우 삼투조절을 위해 암모니아 배설에 상당한 차이를 보였다. 사육 시스템내에서 조사된 산소소비와 암모니아 질소 배설경향은 섭이와 관련하여 일간리듬을 보였는데, 산소소비는 섭이 3시간 후에 최고를 보였으며 암모니아 질소 배설은 섭이 4시간 후에 각각 최고를 나타내었다.

A Relational Geography of Consumption and Ethical Geography Education (소비의 관계적 지리와 윤리적 지리교육)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of ethical geography education, based on the 'relational turn' of understanding of human/non-humans and place in the context of the student's daily consumption. To do this, first and foremost, due to the de-localization of product networks that students consume, it has been discussed the situation that the ethics of responsibility and care is reduced. Then, this paper suggests an understanding of place and human/non-humans in a relational view, as a basis for the student's ability to look at matters of consumption and ethics through the viewpoint of relational ethics of responsibility and care. Finally, this research examined relation of commodity consumption, relational geographies and ethics of responsibility and care through 'mobile phone connection'. It is argued in the paper that the role of ethical geography education lies also in allowing students to feel connected to various humans/non-humans as a absent presence in his own life and to acquire cognitive and practical skills to provide more responsibility and care for their socio-ecological environment, thus making a better world.

  • This study was designed to create a situational and procedural simulation of web-courseware which will enhance students' self-directed learning styles during the economics class in elementary schools. When teaching the students how to be wise consumers, it is important to provide them with various experiences that will lead them to make active and rational decisions. Actual experiences are, however, rather limited in reality which consequently result in learning economics only vicariously at school. The purpose of the study was, therefore, to develop a courseware which allows the student to have indirect experiences through computer simulations. The courseware will not only assist the student in making decisions and taking actions appropriately during the various situations given in the program, but also overcome the limitations of the classroom setting by using the procedural simulation.

Experimental Study on Performance Comparison of Air-Conditioner with PF Heat Exchanger (PF 열교환기를 적용한 공조기의 성능 비교 실험연구)

  • In the present study, the heat transfer characteristics of the fin-tube and PF heat exchangers and the performances of the air-conditioner are experimentally investigated. Also, Cooling Seasonal Performance Factor(CSPF) of the air-conditioner is evaluated. For the heat exchanger experiment, the heat transfer and pressure drop are obtained. For the air-conditioner experiment, the cooling capacity, input power and COP are obtained. The air-enthalpy calorimeter and the constant temperature water bath are used. As the inlet air velocity increases, the heat transfer rate and pressure drop of the heat exchanger increased. PF heat exchanger has smaller refrigerant weight and larger capacity and COP than the fin-tube heat exchanger. The performance of PF-2 heat exchanger with the squarer fin is more excellent than that of PF-1 heat exchanger with the triangler fin. Also, CSPF of the fm -tube and PF heat exchanger is evaluated.

A Case Study on the 'Consumer Studies' Class Using Problem-Based Learning for Prospective Home Economics Teachers (예비교사를 위한 문제중심학습에 기반한 '소비자학' 수업 사례)

  • This study aims to apply the problem-based learning method to a college course on 'Consumer Studies' in a teacher education program. The participants of this study were 27 undergraduate students who were enrolled in the course. The PBL class was implemented for seven weeks using two problems: proposing special lectures on economic concepts and financial consulting. The effectiveness of PBL was analyzed through self-reflective journals, self-assessment, and a learning satisfaction survey of students. The result of this study was as follows. Students achieved the learning objectives and strengthened their collaboration and communication skills with team members during the PBL process. Moreover, students improved their self-directed learning and problem-solving ability through the PBL class. The results of self-assessment, in terms of learning task performance, active interaction, and self-directed learning were generally high at 4.63 points. In addition, the overall learning satisfaction level was very high, with a score of 4.75. The results will provide effective information on PBL classes to instructors and prospective teachers and will be used as data for learner-centered PBL classes.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop practical problem-based home economics teaching.learning process plans about a unit 'the youth and consumer life' of middle school eighth-grade Technology and Home Economics by applying blended learning(BL) strategy. According to ADDIE instructional design model, this study was conducted in the following procedure: analysis, design/development, implementation, and evaluation. In the stage of design and development, the selected unit was converted into a practical problem-based unit, and practical problem-based teaching. learning process plans were designed in detail by using BL strategy. An online study room for practical problem-based home economics instruction grounded in BL strategy was prepared by using Edunet(http://community.edunet4u.net/${\sim}$consumer2). Eight-session lesson plans were mapped out, and study aids for students and materials for teachers were prepared. In the implementation stage, the first-session teaching plans that dealt with a minor question 'what preparations should be made to become a wise consumer' were utilized when instruction was provided to 115 eighth graders who were in three different province, and the other one was in a middle school in the city of Daejeon. The experimental teaching was implemented for two weeks in the following procedure: preliminary program, pre-online learning, main instruction and post- online learning. The preliminary program was carried out in a session in the classroom, and pre-online learning was provided before the main instruction was given in a session in the classroom. After the main instruction was completed, post-online learning was offered. In the evaluation stage, a survey was conducted on all the learners and teachers to find out their opinions and suggestions.

The impact of Foreign direct investment on Energy intensity: absorptive capacity as moderator (외국인 직접투자가 에너지 집약도에 미치는 영향분석-흡수능력의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The complementary effect between FDI and its absorptive capacity has drawn more attention than before. This paper intended to explore the relationship between energy intensity and such complementary effect. The absorptive capacity of FDI shows various aspects among which we focus on the human capital, the financial system and the infrastructure in this paper. Using the panel data from 1990 to 2011, the study is processed between the 20 OECD and 20 Non-OECD countries. The empirical results shown that for OECD country, a complementary effect exists between FDI and its absorbability and it has the controlling effect on energy reduction. But the effect is only significant in the human capital and the financial system. The infrastructure variable is less important in OECD country due to their high development level. However, for non-OECD country, the complementary effect between infrastructure and FDI reduces energy consumption significantly, it can get to the point that the process for infrastructure to attract FDI and also benefits from it only blow its way to the Non-OECD, developing countries, without andy special effects for the OECD countries which has already highly build up their infrastructure. Also, the financial system in Non-OECD countries is at the primary stage yet, which is not easy to contribute efficiency. To make a conclusion, the complementary effect between infrastructure and FDI in OECD country and which between finical system and FDI in non-OECD country cannot enhance energy efficiency as expected.

The analyses of duplicated contents of 'Consumer Life' area in Technology & Home Economics and other subject textbooks for middle and high school students (중·고등학교 기술·가정 교과서와 타 교과 교과서의 '소비생활' 영역 중복 내용 분석)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the duplicated contents of 'Consumer life' area of Technology & Home Economics and other subject textbooks for the middle and high school students. It focused on textbooks compiled following the 2009 revised curriculum. To achieve the purposes of this study, "Technology & Home Economics I II", "Social studies I II", and "Ethics I II"textbooks for middle school and "Technology & Home Economics", "Social studies", and "Life & Ethics" textbooks for high school were analyzed based on the criteria for analyses of 'Consumer life' area. The results were as follows. First, the analysis of duplicated contents in Technology & Home Economics and other subjects (Ethics, Social studies) for middle school revealed that Technology & Home Economics textbook had the most proportion of 'Consumer Life' area, followed by Social studies and Ethics. The duplicated content elements in Technology & Home Economics, Ethics, and Social studies textbooks for middle school were 'consumer decision making', 'consumer information', 'economic impact of consumption', 'food life and sustainability', and 'consumption and sustainability'. Secondly, as a result of the content analysis of textbooks for high school Technology & Home Economics, Social studies, and Life & Ethics according to the criteria of analysis, it was found that Technology & Home Economics textbook had the most proportion of 'Consumer Life' area, followed by Life & Ethics and Social studies. The "content elements" 'food life management and consumption environment', 'desire of consumption', 'economic impact of consumption', 'changing factors and characteristics of consumer culture', and 'consumption and sustainability' were commonly found in all three textbooks. In this way, the 'Consumer life' area of Technology & Home Economics is thought to play a central role in teaching the 'Consumer Life' area because of its strength that contains detailed contents about consumer life for adolescent consumers who will apply it to everyday life. Based on the result of this research, it is needed to consider articulation of 'Consumer life' area of secondary schools for the future curriculum development of Technology & Home Economics to reduce the duplicated contents and to help the adolescents develop the ability to solve consumption problems they may encounter in real life and grow up to be rational adult consumers.

  • ●2004년 세계 석유 소비는 8천75만7천 b/d로 전년대비 3.4% 증가하여 1978년 이래 최고상승률을 기록했다. 소비 비중은 미국이 전체의 24.9%를 점유하여 1위를 차지했고 중국(8.2%), 일본(6.4%), 러시아연방(3.4%), 독일(3.3%), 인도(3.2%), 한국(2.8%)순으로 나타났다. ●석유소비증가량은 중국이 전년대비 무려 15.8%인 246만 3천b/d증가하였고 미국은 2.8%인 48만 4천 b/d 증가한 반면 일본은 3.0%인 16만 7천 b/d감소하는 등 전체적으로 246만 7천 b/d증가하였다. ●세계석유생산은 8천 26만 b/d로 전년대비 4.5% 증가하였고 생산량 순으로는 사우디아리비아가 전체의 13.1%를 점유하여 1위를 차지하였고, 러시아연방(11.9%), 미국(8.5%), 이란(5.2%), 멕시코(4.9%), 중국(4.5%) 순으로 나타났다. ●세계석유매장량은 1조 1,886억 배럴로 가채년수는 405년이며 국가별로는 사우디아라비아가 전체의 22.1%를 점유하여 1위를 차지하였고 이란(11.1%), 이라크(9.7%), 쿠웨이트(8.3%), UAE(8.2%), 베네수엘라(6.5%), 러시아연방(6.1%) 순으로 나타났다. ●세계정제능력은 8천 459만 2천b/d로 전년대비 0.8% 증가하였다. 국가별로는 미국이 전체의 20.1%를 점유하여 1위를 차지하였고 중국(6.9%), 러시아연방(6.4%), 일본(5.4%), 한국(3.1%) 순으로 나타났다.

The effect of Fashion Leadership and Commerce Characteristics on the Acceptance Attitude of Fashion Mobile Commerce (유행선도력과 상거래 특성에 따른 패션 모바일 커머스 수용태도 연구)

  • 본 논문은 모바일 패션 쇼핑의 소비자 행동을 설명하기 위해 모바일 패션소비자의 유행선도력(유행선도성향, 의견선도성향, 선도잠재성향)과 모바일 상거래 특성(모바일 편재성, 모바일 개인화, 모바일 위치성)을 패션 수용상황에 적합한 기술수용 관점에서 관련성을 제시하여 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 본 조사는 모바일 인터넷 서비스 및 커머스를 1회 이상 이용해 본 경험이 있는 패션 소비자 406명을 자료 분석에 사용하였으며, 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 패션소비자의 유행선도력의 유행선도성향과 선도잠재성향은 지각된 가치에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 패션소비자의 모바일 상거래 특성의 편재성은 지각된 가치와 지각된 유용성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 모바일 패션커머스에 대한 지각된 가치는 지각된 유용성과 수용태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 모바일 패션커머스에 대한 지각된 유용성은 수용태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 모바일 패션커머스에 대한 지각된 신뢰는 지각된 유용성과 수용태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과로 패션 소비자의 유행선도력과 모바일 상거래 특성이 패션 모바일 커머스를 확산하는 능력을 지녔음을 제시한다. 또한 기존 연구에서의 패션상품 구매의도 형성요인들과 통합할 경우, 보다 설명력 있는 확장된 혁신수용 모델이 개발될 것으로 예상된다.
