In order to choose work system of fire organization between specialization system and multi- tasking system, fire organization's works should be analyzed. The most important thing of this task is evaluation of speciality of work that can be performed by estimating the duration of expertise of fire fighters' work. In this study I estimated the duration by survey. The duration is 12 years and 5 months which is a year and 9 months after promotion to fire senior sergeant lank in the case of average fire fighter.

Fire-stations' works limited to the existing fire protection rescue and emergency services in rapidly changing disaster environment are not difficult to deal with the fire service demand of the people any longer. In this study, after calculating the importance of the disaster management about fire-stations' works by disaster management steps thorough a survey of experts about Fire and Disaster, firefighting tasks are to be redesigned. Experts have the higher rating in preparation step of firefighting tasks. Because securing resources and building systems in preparation step and safety training in prevention step have a high importance, it is required to improve efficiency of firefighting tasks through redesign. The most important point in redesign is to realize fire-stations' works are to expand and to develop such a policy if fire-offices excavate the civil and government cooperation works and provide such legal and institutional basis of establishment and operation. And it should be sought to maintain international cooperation for international disaster response. Ultimately, fire-offices will have further expansion in quality and simultaneously quantitatively by excavating 'collaboration (business cooperation)' or enhancing existing works in addition to existing 'fire and rescue, first aid' business.

The aim of study intends to investigate safety and health of injured firefighter in Gyeongbuk province and to provide the base data for the safety and health of firefighter. The results of the study are as follows. Type of activities when injured are surveyed extinguishing fire (42.5%), EMS (20.0%), rescue (12.5%), driving (10.0%) others (10.0%), education and training (5.0%). The firefighter injuries are treated in hospital (75%), operated surgery (62.5%) and disordered physically (25.0%). It was found that administration financial support (42.5%), development and propagation of teaching material (12.5%), the interest of chief (7.5%) were required for the safety and health of firefighter.

소방은 화재진압에서 시작되었다는 것에서 자긍심을 가져야 하지만, 국민에게 오래된 전통에 의해 평가를 받기보다는 국민의 안전을 위한 새로운 시각에서 재조명되어야 한다. 같은 소방업무 중에도 재난관리 단계별로 어느 부분을 더 중요하게 생각하는지 해석이 다를 수 있다, 최근 '예방' 업무의 중요성이 부각되고 있으나 '예방' 단계에서의 소방의 역할에 대해 다시 고민해 보아야 한다.

The administration of Korean local governments in charge of natural disaster management and manmade disaster management has been completely or partially integrated to the fire fighting headquarters since 1990's. Therefore the relationship between the fire fighters and the regular officers has been more important. So in this study, I made a questionnaire about management ability, rescue activities, disaster, business efficiency of the disaster management organization. And then I did a question research to the comparison analysis of recognition between fire fighter and regular officers of Seoul disaster management organization. As a result of the comparative analysis of understanding, there is a meaningful difference among facilities of management ability, man-made disaster of disaster, business cooperation and business connection of business efficiency. Through the comparison analysis of recognition, I tried to present the improvement of Seoul disaster management organization.

As the contents of crimes become specialized due to the diversification and modernization of modern society, the role of a special judicial police system is becoming important and diverse. Nevertheless, most special judicial police for the fire service, which conducts investigative work, have problems, such as lack of expertise in investigation caused by a lack of manpower, investigation and work due to concurrent fire investigation. Based on the experience gained through the investigation cases of fire crimes, this study suggests improvements of the telegraph restriction system, improvement of the education system, improvement of the education and training system, and the establishment of a dedicated department as measures to improve the actual problems.

In this study, results of completion inspection are investigated according to the performance of the firefighting construction supervision personnel and according to the necessity of clean air supply in a performance test of the firefighting construction supervision personnel. The results of the completion inspection are measured and the causes of defects in the fire protection facilities after issuance of a completion inspection certificate are analyzed. The findings of this investigation can be used to minimize the risk of apartment fires and improve the performance of firefighting construction supervision personnel. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the results of the completion inspection conducted by the firefighting construction supervision personnel varies according to particular occupation. The performance of fire facility supervisors from design companies and fire construction companies were significantly higher than the fire officers. Therefore, it is necessary to employ supervisors who have experience in supervising the construction of apartments, in order to improve the performance of fire construction supervision officers. Second, the analysis of the completion inspection results according to the necessity of a clean air supply for performance tests of firefighting construction supervision personnel showed that the necessity of a clean air supply was significantly higher for fire facility supervisors from design companies and fire construction companies than for the fire officers. In order to improve, the completion inspection should be carried out up until the completion date of the building. In addition, a system needs to be established to ensure that clients are not able to demand that a completion inspection certificate be issued on the construction completion date. Finally, it is found that defects of completion inspection after issuance of a completion inspection certificate affects the result of the completion inspection. The results of the completion inspections conducted by the fire facility supervisors from design companies and fire construction companies were affected significantly less by defects than that of the general contractors. Research shows that faults have occured in firefighting facilities after the issuance of a completion inspection certificate due to the client and the construction company demanding the issuance of the completion inspection certificate.

Fire fighting officials perform their works in the field and in most cases, undergo circular appointments for their service period. If they don't gain experience in field works, they have difficulty in performing faithful planning or administrative works. So they surely have to gain experiences in field works. Like this, fire fighting officials' works comprise a lot of fields, comparing with other job workers. So they need a strict body condition. The aim of this inquiry is to scrutinize body standards and important roles concretely which are necessary to fire fighting officials, to analyze written examination, physical test, physical strength test, and interview examination, and to establish the proposal which is necessary to improvement.
