본 연구는 미국에서 boat공업의 중심지 중의 하나인 Seattle의 boat 공업의 입지와 그 변화를 고찰하므로서 소기업의 입지를 구명하려고 하였다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 Seattle에서 소규모 boat제조업체가 가장 많이 집중한 Washington호와 Shilshole 만간의 운하지역을 연구지역으로 선정하려 이 지역내에 입지하고 있는 boat 제조업체의 기업주와 interview한 결과를 기본자료로 이용하였다. 이상에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같았다. 연구지역의 소규모 boat 공업은 boat제조에 흥미와 능력을 가진 기업가들이 boat 공업에 유리한 Seattle의 환경의 영향을 받아 그들의 기업을 그들의 오랜 거주 지역에서 시작하므로서 발생하게 되었다. 그러나 담수를 지향하는 이 공업의 입지상의 특색, 원료공급처와 제품판매처의 위치, 주위의 지형 그리고 지방정부의 정책에 기인하여 이 공업은 Chittenden Locks와 Portage 만간의 운하지역에 그 입지가 국한되었다. 다시 이 지역내에서는 주위의 지형과 토지이용, 기업의 재정적인 능력 때문에 이 운하지역에 연해있는 기존공장 혹은 건물을 이용하여 입지하게 되었다. 입지후에 이 공업은 원료공급처와 제품판매처와의 강한 linkage를 형성하고 있다. 더구나 원료공급처의 희소성에 기인한 공간적 독점과 소비자 및 제품의 특성 때문에 연구지역의 대부분의 소규모 boat 제조업체는 바로 근처에 있는 원료공급처 및 소비자와 긴밀한 contact를 하고 있고 이러한 contact를 통하여 그들의 입지를 존속시키고 있다. 한편 Seattle 이 가지고 있는 boat 공업에 유리한 기업환경의 덕택으로 이들 소규모 boat 제조업체들은 수요의 계절적인 변동에서 초래되는 노동력의 공급 때문에 곤란을 받을 뿐 장기적인 불황에 직면한 적은 없다. 이리하여 이들 업체들은 이러한 계절적인 변동에 대처하기 위해 생산 input 의 조절, 주위의 기존공장이나 건물의 병합을 통한 연속적인 확장 혹은 그들의 action space 내에 있는 기존공장이나 건물을 이용한 이동등과 같은 입지변화를 보여왔을 뿐이다. 이리하여 연구지역의 소규모 boat공업은 Seattle의 경제 system 내의 주요 subsystem의 하나로서 활발히 움직이고 있다. 그러나 만약 기업의 외부환경에서 초래되는 stress, 즉 주민의 소득저하, 타 recreation 산업이 쇠퇴하게 되면 이 공업 또한 쇠퇴될 것이다. 요컨대 담수 지향성과 관련된 입지상의 특색을 제외하고는 연구지역의 소규모 boat 공업은 타 소규모 공업과 동일한 입지상의 특색을 가지고 있다.

미국에서는 새로운 중철기 업그레이드 제품들이 업계에 경종을 울릴 만큼 발전을 거듭하며 소규모 인쇄업체에 적합하게 자동화를 이루고 있다. 물론 각 제조업체들은 수동 중철기도 최상의 출력을 목표로 발전시켜 왔다. 후가공 업계에서 자동화 장비의 변화 단계는 투자회수금(ROI)최대화에 요구되는 적당한 가격과 기술을 선택할 수 있도록 진행돼 왔다. 이 글에서는 미국 사용자들이 현재의 옵션과 시장에 공급되고 있는 최신 중형 중철기들을 활용하고 있는 사례에 대해 다룬다.

This paper implements a web - based production monitoring system that can be used efficiently by small - scale manufacturers. Small-scale enterprises, especially small-sized enterprises with less than 5 employees, need an efficient production management system because productivity is important. However, in reality, the manager and the worker verbally report work orders and production, and when one of the members is absent, the delay in the work process increases. If the time required for the work process increases, the productivity will be affected and the sales of the enterprise will be affected. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a web - based production monitoring system that can be used efficiently by small - sized manufacturers with less than 5 employees. We implemented a web based browser to operate with only a browser and applied the UI for convenience of the field worker. The proposed system is applied to less than 5 automobile parts manufacturers and the system effectiveness is confirmed. The system can be economically applied to more small enterprises with only a few modifications according to the products of each company.

국내 상위 10개 업체가 국내 장류시장의 70% 이상을 차지하고 있으나 최근 들어 귀농인구의 증가로 소규모 농가형 장류 생산업체가 급격히 증가하고 있고, 전통식품인증마크 획득 등으로 전통장류 생산업체들은 지역 특산품으로 생산하여 공장형 장류와 차별화를 하고 있다. 이러한 취지에서 경북발효식품산학연협력사업단은 가내 수공업 형태로 군 단위의 지역에 산재해 있는 발효식품 업체를 클러스터 형태로 집적화하고 지역 원료의 활용을 극대화 방향으로 추진하여 전략적 발효산업으로 육성 발전시키며, 발효식품 전문제조업체를 발굴 육성하여 지역 업체의 매출 증대 및 수출 증대에 기여하고자 염미강화 및 보완소재 개발로 고부가가치 저염제품으로 발효식품에의 상용화 기반을 구축하고 있다. 경북지역 재래된장 및 개량된장 업체의 지원을 통해 저염된장을 출시함으로써 연구에 취약한 소규모 전통장류 업체의 매출 증대에 기여하고 정부시책에 발맞추어 국민의 나트륨 섭취를 줄이는데 도움이 되는 고부가가치 저염 발효가공품으로 경쟁력을 강화하고자 노력하고 있다. 앞으로 장류시장의 세계화를 이루기 위해서는 저염 상태에서 발현될 수 있는 이종 미생물 독소, 식중독균 등 오염원균으로부터의 안전성 확보 기술을 가져야 할 것이다.

충남 아산시 아산테크노벨리 산업단지에 위치하고 있는 (주)영광YKMC. 반도체는 물론 항공기에 들어가는 첨단부품을 생산하고 있는 이곳은 산단 내에서도 남다른 유명세를 떨치고 있다. 가공에서부터 조립, 표면처리 등 제품 생산에 필요한 모든 과정을 한꺼번에 처리할 수 있는 공정 시스템을 갖추고 있기 때문이다. 일반적인 소규모 제조업체들이 하나의 공정에만 집중하는 것에 비해 (주)영광YKMC는 부품 생산 전문업체로서의 입지를 확고하게 구축하고 있는 것이다. 관련 기술의 특허 4건, 실용신안등록 12건 등 총 16개의 지식재산권을 보유하고 있다는 것에서 전문업체라는 수식어가 전혀 어색하지 않다. 특히 (주)영광YKMC의 장관섭 대표이사는 자난해 표면처리 직종에서 '대한민국명장'에 선정되면서 회사의 기술력을 널리 알리기도 했다. 이곳은 지역 안전인들 사이에서도 각별한 주목을 받고 있다. 근로자들의 마음을 보듬는 이른바 감성안전경영이 모범적으로 전개되고 있기 때문이다. 근로자들의 안전을 무엇보다 최우선으로 여기고 있는 장관섭 (주)영광YKMC 대표이사를 만나봤다.

Packaged meal manufacturing establishments in Seoul city and Kyungkido province were assessed in terms of the sanitary conditions and practices, time and temperature, and microbiological quality. Sanitary check-lists were developed to evaluate the sanitary condition of sampled packaged meal manufacturing establishments. Microbiological tests on.food containers, equipments, and foods in various phases of product flow were done. The results of the study are summarized as follows; 1) Sanitary condition of kitchen.and sanitary practices of employees in.large and medium establishments were evaluated as the some improvement required in order to meet all standards. But sanitary practices of employees in small establishments were evaluated as the unsatisfactory state with negligence or ignorance of safe practice. 2) The microbiological quality of basic ingredients and food materials after pre-preparation were poor. 3) Time and temperature data indicated that phases of holding ingredients at room temperature after cooking, assembly and packaging before delivery were critical. 4) Microbiological test results for food containers, equipments indicated that sanitary conditions of stainless steel ware, knife, wiping clothes and cutting board should be improved promptly. 5) Critical control points identified were ingredients, pre-preparation, Holding, and assembly and packaging. 6) Guidelines were suggested for effective quality control of packaged meals production.

제조업체의 품질관리 및 공정에 대한 개선을 위하여 현장에서 생산되는 데이터를 수집 및 분석하여 작업자 또는 경영자에게 의미 있는 의사결정을 할 수 있는 정보 제공이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 제조 공정 개선을 위한 데이터 수집 및 분석 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 통해서 소규모 제조 현장에서 원자재 배합의 정확도 향상과 작업시간 단축을 가능하게 해 주고, 건당 처리시간의 감소로 인한 생산 납품시간 단축, 불량률 감소 등에 따른 원가 절감을 가져올 수 있다.

This paper is a case study on regional linkages of producer services in Chinju region. Producer service appeared as the most rapid growth sector in service industry. In Chinju region. manufacturing firms purchase generalized producer service within the region. However the higher-order service, they demand; the remoter metropolis especially Seoul, they depend on. Linkage patterns among manufacturing sectors are similar; but then the firms whose managers are from Chinju or Gyeong-nam region had stronger regional linkages than others. Public institute such as Chamber of Commerce & Industry, University Research Institute of Industrial Technology. Korea Technology Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Silk Research Institute have made important role as suppliers of public producer services in Chinju Region. As present stage, their services of industrial technology, fiancing, and information are not only fit regional demand but also spatially limited within region. The facts that large firms purchase high-order services from other region and small firms have not good demand of producer service suggest regional policy implication about supplying relevant producer service in the region.

전력 MOSFET은 산업 전반에 걸쳐 수요가 급증하고 있고, 멀지않아 장래에 컴퓨터, 통신, 메카트로닉스, 자동차등의 발달로 인하여 갑작스레 수요가 폭발하리라 예상하고 있다. 전력 MOSFET은 10년도 채 못되는 짧은 역사를 지니고 있기 때문에 국내에는 거의 소개된 바가 없으며, 이를 사용한 시스템을 생산하는 업체도 알려진 바 없다. 그러나, 에너지 자원이 빈곤한 우리나라에서는 전력 MOSFET을 사용한 절전형 전원이나 조절기의 개발이 시급하리라 생각된다. 또한 전력MOSFET은 LSI급의 IC제조시설을 활용하여 제작이 가능하기 때문에, 비교적 소규모 시설 투자에 의해 생산시설을 갖출 수가 있다. 따라서, 국내에서도 반도체 기술의 다양화 측면에서라도 전력MOSFET의 개발을 신중히 검토해야 할 때가 왔다고 생각한다.
