The aim of this study was to compare the differences in closing extraction spaces between maxillary first premolar and second premolar extractions using 3-dimensional finite element analysis (FEA). Methods: Maxillary artificial teeth were selected according to Wheeler's dental anatomy. The size and shape of each tooth, bracket and archwire were made from captured real images by a 3D laser scanner and FEA was performed with a 10-noded tetrahedron. A $10^{\circ}$ gable bend was placed behind the bull loop on a $0.017"{\times}0.025"$ archwire. The extraction space was then closed through 12 repeated activating processes for each 2mm of space. Results and Conclusions: The study demonstrated that the retraction of anterior teeth was less for the second premolar extraction than for the first premolar extraction. The anterior teeth showed a controlled tipping movement with slight extrusion, and the posterior teeth showed a mesial-in rotational movement. For the second premolar extraction, buccal movement of posterior teeth was highly increased.

Mandibular premolars show a wide variety of root canal anatomy. Especially, the occurrence of three canals with three separate foramina in mandibular second premolars is very rare. This case report describes the root canal treatment of an unusual morphological configuration of the root canal system and supplements previous reports of the existence of such configuration in mandibular second premolar.

Aberrant anatomy of mandibular premolars is very rare in Korean, but aberration can contribute the endodontic failure as it makes difficult to remove the irritants during cleaning and shaping procedure. This case report describes the successful root canal treatment of a rare mandibular first premolar with C-shaped root canal as using a cone-beam computed tomography to understand the internal shape of root canal system and a dental operating microscope to improve the magnification and illumination.

광고에서 가장 중요한 크레이티브 창출을 위한 광고 전략에 따른 시리즈 광고에서의 빈도별 축적에 의한 것이 어떠한 경우에 수요자들이 선호하느냐에 대한 따른 전략이 필요할때이다. 또한 소구방식에 따른 광고의 단발적 광고와 시리즈 광고마다의 메시지의 이해도나 구매 의욕도가 높아지는가를 측정하여 일회성의 광고와 연속적인 광고에서의 효과 적성을 각각 분류하여 연구한 이 논문은 광고의 제작을 함에 있어서의 더욱 효과적인 개선안을 참아 광고 효과를 높이는데에 이 논문의 연구목적을 둔다.

최근 N스크린 세대의 새로운 소비 주도층인 밀레니얼세대(10대~20대 초반)의 증가로 모바일 YouTube 동영상 시청자가 증가하였다. 이로 인해 광고 노출 가능성이 높아지고 있어 YouTube 인스트림 광고가 광고주들의 높은 주목을 받고 있다. 그러나 현재 광고 게재에 따른 정확한 노출 효과에 대한 연구 분석 자료는 현저히 부족하다. 이에 모바일 YouTube 동영상 시청자 수가 가장 높은 10대~20대 초반을 대상으로 국내 YouTube 인스트림 광고 사례 10개를 선정하여 선택적 시청에 따른 시청자들의 행태 파악과 광고 몰입도를 분석해 보았다. 분석 결과 소구 유형별 광고 몰입도는 이성소구보다 감성소구가 컸으며, 그 중 유머소구의 광고 몰입도가 가장 크게 나타났다. 본 연구 결과가 향후 광고 노출 효과를 높이는데 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the eruption patterns of mandibular premolars associated with dentigerous cysts after marsupialization regarding the depth, angulation and root development of impacted teeth. Spontaneous eruption was found in 93% of mandibular premolars after marsupialization. Eruption speed and rate of angulation change were greater in mandibular premolars associated with a cyst than those on the non-cyst side. The group with less matured roots tended to have greater eruption speed and angulation change. The eruption speed and angulation change declined rapidly during the first 6 months after marsupialization. Based on the results of this study, it might be possible to predict the eruption pattern of mandibular premolars associated with a cyst after marsupialization, which would be useful for treatment planning.

The purpose of this report is to present the successful improvement of occlusal relationship and facial estherics in Class II div.1 malocclusion by orthodontic treatment with upper first premolars and lower second premolars extracted. Before treatment, the patients showed Class II div. 1 relation with severe overjet. deep overbite, large ANB angle, retrusive mandible and a convex soft tissue profile. After treatment, normal canine and molar relationships were obtained. Facial esthetics were improved. There were no mesial tipping of lower first molars and root resorptions. With the adequate diagnosis and treatment plan and biomechanics, the application of upper first and lower second premolar extraction may be one of good strategies in some Class II cases treatment.
