This study ascertained convergent influence on self-leadership and its association with self-competence, self-efficacy and locus of control among female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. Data collection was carried out using a self-administered questionnaire from April 29, 2019 to May 10, 2019 and the target was randomly selected 201 female freshmen in health majors in TOEIC class from college located in J city. Self-leadership was positively correlated with self-competence, self-efficacy and locus of control. The covariance structure analysis showed that the higher self-competence, the higher self-efficacy and the lower locus of control tend to increase self-leadership. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to increase self-competence and self-efficacy, to decrease locus of control, are required to improve self-leadership of female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. These results are expected to be used for educational counseling and intervention efforts to enhance self-leadership among female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. In future studies, further research on additional factors affecting self-leadership is needed.

This study analyzed the impact of women's self-preservation on their intention to start a business by using self-efficacy as a mediation, reflecting the importance of women's self-preservation to adapt to the new environment of start-up. In particular, in addition to the overall self-preservation, the sub-factors of behavioral delay, compensatory natural strategy, and constructive thinking strategy were also validated. As a research method, 198 people who responded to the online survey were analyzed using Model 4 of the PROCESS macro proposed by Hayes(2018), and indirect effects were analyzed by designating 5,000 bootstrapping samples. The findings were as follows. First, self-efficacy has been shown to have a mediating effect in which women's self-preservation influences their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a partial medium. Second, the sense of self-efficacy was found to have a mediating effect on women's behavior-oriented strategies affecting their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a partial medium. Third, self-efficacy was found to have a mediating effect in which women's natural compensatory strategies affect their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a partial medium. Fourth, self-efficacy was found to have a mediating effect in which women's constructive thinking strategies affect their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a complete medium. This shows that the higher a woman's self-preservation, the higher her self-efficacy and willingness to start a business. Based on the results of these studies, he made a developed proposal for women's start-ups.

The results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis show the following. The self-leadership of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which self-competence is higher, a group in which subdivision task self-efficacy and coping self-efficacy is higher, and a group in which subdivision chance of locus control from locus of control is lower. Their explanatory power was 49.7%. The results of the study indicate that the efforts to manage self-competence, self-efficacy, and locus of control are required to improve the self-leadership of female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. These results can be used for academic counseling guidance to enhance self-leadership of female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. This study attempted to investigate the effects of self-leadership on organizational citizenship behavior and turnover intention among beauty salon employees and analyze the moderating effects of job satisfaction. For this purpose, data were collected for 330 people working in beauty salons and analyzed using SPSS v. 21.0. According to multiple regression analysis, self-leadership revealed a statistically significant positive effect on the OCB and urnover intention Therefore, it was shown that self-leadership is a critical factor. To determine if self-leadership having an influence on the OCB and turnover intention is moderated by job satisfaction, variables were applied to the following models, and hierarchical regression was performed: self-leadershipto model I, job satisfaction to model II, self-leadership and job satisfaction to model III. The results found a statistically significant positive influence in all three models. Therefore, this shows that job satisfaction has a moderating effect on self-leadership, OCB and turnover intention. Self-development education as well as technical training should be strengthened to enhance self-leadership, which leads beauty salon employees' thoughts and behavior in the right direction.
This research aims to analyze the changes in participants' capacity (problem-solving ability and self-leadership), humanity (self-efficacy), and global network (intercultural sensitivity) as performance indicators and the 'effectiveness of personal characteristics' of the World Friends IT Volunteers program. To do this, the study conducted a pre-test and a post-test on 364 participants of the World Friends IT Volunteers program. The collected data is investigated through ANCOVA using covariates, driven from the prerest results. The results of this study represent that meaningful improvements have been identified in problem-solving ability, self-leadership and intercultural sensitivity since the operation of the program. Regarding the personal characteristics, performance in the female group improved more than the male group in terms of intercultural sensitivity, whereas the male group showed better performance on self-efficacy than the female group. In addition, the group with a high level of English proficiency showed more progress on intercultural sensitivity and self-leadership than the English-beginner group. Besides, the group who had an experience of short-term stay overseas showed moderate improvement on problem-solving ability and intercultural sensitivity when compared to other groups. The group who had lived overseas for a long-term showed better indicators on intercultural sensitivity. Also, self-efficacy of the leader group was more noticeable than that of the member group.
