In the final argument for the immortality of the soul in the Phaedo, Socrates establishes a new type of cause which he describes as 'more sophisticated' and on the basis of it attempts to show that the soul is immortal. In the process, he introduces three examples for the cause, i.e. three, fire, and snow. But there has been considerable controversy over the ontological status of the three and the soul. Some scholars think that they are all forms; others believe that neither of them is. In this paper I argue that in fact one of them is a form, while the others are not. I also argue that the fact that they do not have the same ontological status and the uncertainty in the nature of the soul itself weaken the cogency of the final argument as a whole.

휴대전화는 동전의 양면과 같다. 야누스의 얼굴을 가졌다. 삶의 질을 높여줬다고도 하고 삶의 질을 떨어뜨렸다고도 한다. 휴대전화는 아내와 같다. 없으면 불편하고 있으면 노예가 된다. 하루가 멀다고 신기술을 탑재한 세련된 디자인의 휴대전화들이 쏟아져 나온다. 휴대전화의 진화는 눈부시다. 음성통화가 전부였던 초창기와는 다르게 이제는 개인비서이자 생활필수품이다. 몸의 연장이요, 내 손안의 세상이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between epistemic beliefs and creativity of gifted students. To resolve the above research questions, this study used epistemic beliefs inventory and Torrance's TTCT to 87 1st grade gifted middle school students enrolled in Daegu metropolitan city. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, sophistical epistemic beliefs of the gifted students were higher than their naive epistemic beliefs. Secondly, Pearson's correlation analysis showed significant relations between fixed ability and verbal creativity, and between provisional knowledge and verbal creativity, and showed significant relations between variables of sophistical epistemic beliefs and figural creativity. Lastly, this study revealed that fixed ability, expert authority and provisional knowledge explain considerable amount verbal creativity of the gifted students. And authority of the acceptance and provisional knowledge affect considerably their figural creativity.

본 논문은 Layered Transmission(LT)기법의 단점인 세밀하지 못한(coarse-grained) QoS 확장성을 보완하기 위해서 계층 단위로 세션을 떠나기 이전에 각 계층 내에서 프레임을 생략하는 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 기존의 LT 기법보다 네트워크 상태 변화에 따라서 좀 더 세밀한 QoS 확장성을 제공해 준다. 따라서 네트워크 대역폭의 활용도를 최대화하고 패킷 손실을 최소화할 수 있다. 또 사용 가능한 네트워크 대역폭을 최대한 활용함으로써 사용자들에게 최적의 서비스를 제공해 준다.

기존의 이미지 검색에서는 원하는 이미지를 검색하기 위하여 사용자가 이미지의 가시적 속성을 정확히 표현하도록 요구함으로써 질의가 제한되었다. 본 논문에서는 색상으로부터 유추될 수 있는 감성 형용사를 감성 용어 시소러스로 구축하여 감성 기반의 이미지 검색이 가능하도록 하였다. 감성 용어 시소러스를 이용함으로써 ‘부드러운’, ‘세련된’등과 같은 감성 용어를 검색의 질의어로 사용할 수 있게 되어 사용자의 검색 의도를 보다 정확하게 표현할 수 있게 되고, 검색의 결과에 대한 만족도를 향상 시킬 수 있다.

우리나라 방염 작업복의 역사는 매우 짧다. 외국의 선진 사례에 비교하여 전기아크에 대한 보호구기준 및 제도가 미비한 현실에서 한전이 국내 최초로 방염 작업복을 전직원에게 도입하면서 난연성 작업복의 중요도와 개인 안전에 대한 인식이 새롭게 자리매기고 있다. 한전 방염 작업복의 현주소는 한국을 대표할 뿐만 아니라 세계적 수준에 도달하였으나, 몇가지 풀어야 할 과제를 안고 있다. 디자인을 좀 더 발전시켜 시대적 흐름에 부합하는 좀더 기능적이고도 세련된 작업복의 구현이 그것이다. 이를 위한 원단 및 디자인 개발을 위한 다양한 시도는 앞으로도 꾸준히 계속될 것이다.

Cultural tourism product that has its theme of Taekwondo which is the representative traditional martial arts of Korea possessing over 50 million people doing Taekwondo worldwide has high marketability and usefulness. By this, the researcher is trying to implement design development expecting transition to new perception on the cultural product by qualitative growth of productivity quality, popularization of crafted products, comsumer oriented product development by deciding cultural product production fit for Taekwondo concept based on the participation of tourism activity of Taekwondo institute by visitors and tourists of Taekwondo institute. Firstly, storybook containing spirit and story of Taekwondo, secondly general rack for pencils or candles, thirdly mini memo in universal price which is practical and sophisticated. With the perception of necessity and possibility to use Taekwondo-related cultural tourist product, by aggressively using the product as the souvenir of Muju Taekwondo institute to promote Taekwondo, we hope that the product will help to create value, which differs from existing cultural tourist products.

국제 협약에 따라 한글에 관한 정보는 로마자로 표기해야 한다. 우리나라는 1959년 2월 로마자 표기법'을 제정, 수차례 개정을 통해 1983년 6월 문교부(Ministry Of Education)안을 발표했으나, 표지판, 역명, 교과서, 공공문서들에서 활용되었지만, 영자신문, 외국 학술지등은 M-R( Mccune-Reishauer ) 표기법을, 인명, 신문 및 방송매체 등은 혼합표기방식을 사용함으로써 인(人). 지명(地名), ID, 대표어등 정보 검색시 혼란을 야기시켰고, 개정안에 따를 표기 정정으로 수백억원에 가까운 예산을 낭비하였으며, 최근 ISO(International Standard Organization)에서는 남북한 단일화 및 기계적 변환을 요구하고 있으나, 반달표 표기곤란, 편리성 결여, 북한의 주장등의 사유로 제정등을 거론하고 있는 실정에 있다. 잘 쓰지 않는 ASCII 코드 중에서 반달점 폰트를 제작하고 단어, 문장, 문서를 STRING으로 받아 알고리즘화된 음운법칙을 적용하여 소리글자로 변환하고 MOE테이블에서 대응글자를 참조하여 기계적 변환이 가능하도록 하였으며, 세련된 디자인, 풀다운 팝업방식을 채택, 2HD 1장으로 국내최초로 개발하였다.

For economic reasons, even though there are some security problems, the commands of re-initializing and writing patch code are widely used in smart cards. The current software tester has difficulty in detecting these trapdoor commands because trapdoors are not published and programmed sophisticatedly. Up to now the effective way to detect them is to completely reveal and analyze the entire code of the COS with applications such as the ITSEC. It is, however, a very time-consuming and expensive processes. We propose the new detecting approach of trapdoors in smart cards using timing and power analysis. With our experiments, this paper shows that the proposed approach is more practical than the current methods.
