Analysis of advancement model of 1st generation dairy smart farm based on Open API application (개방형 제어기반 1세대 낙농 스마트팜의 고도화 모델 적용 분석)

  • ICT convergence using smart livestock is that in the first-generation dairy smart farm model, each device made by several manufacturers uses its own communication method, limiting the mutual operation of each device. This study uses a model based on open control technology to secure interoperability of existing ICT devices and to manage data efficiently. The open integrated control derived from this process is the software interface structure of Open API. It is an observer that serves as real-time data collection according to the communication method of ICT devices and sensors located at each end. It consists of a broker that connects and transmits to the upper integrated management server. As a result of the performance analysis through verification of two first-generation dairy smart farm model sites, the average daily milk production increased compared to the previous year (farm A 5.13%, farm B 1.33%, p<0.05). Cow days open (DO) was reduced by 17.5% on farm A and 13.3% for farm B(p<0.05). Cows require an adaptation period after the introduction of the ICT device, but if continuous effects are observed, the effect of production can be expected to increase gradually.

Study on Effective Population Size of Holstein Population in Korea (우리나라 Holstein 젖소의 유효집단크기 조사 연구)

  • This study was carried out to estimate the average inbreeding coefficients and effective population size (EPS) and to seek alternatives on the problems of Holstein cattle in Korea. The data used in this study was obtained from the Korean Animal Improvement Association (KAIA) and 635,268 heads of Holstein records out of 1,872,195 Holstein registration data were used for the analysis. The average inbreeding coefficients were estimated at a range of 0.11 to 1.07%. The average inbreeding coefficients at the $14^{th}$, $19^{th}$ and $22^{nd}$ generation were estimated at 0.43%, 0.92% and 1.07%, respectively. The estimated inbreeding coefficients within the range of 0%, 0 to 6.25%, 6.25 to 12.5%, 12.5 to 25%, and >25% were observed in 50.5%, 48.3%, 0.8%, 0.1%, and 0.3% of the animals, respectively. The estimated effective population size (EPS) was 619 heads from the $8^{th}$ to $22^{nd}$ generation, and 922 heads from the $19^{th}$ to $22^{nd}$ generation.

Research on the Relationship between the Service Quality and Customer Loyalty of the Hair Beauty Industry for the Silver Generation : With a Focus on Relationship Quality (실버세대 헤어 미용업의 서비스품질과 고객충성도에 대한 관계성 연구: 관계품질을 중심으로)

  • The silver generation in our aging society will rapidly emergeas a new consumer group and the service industry used by silver customers will develop going forward. The beauty service sector is one of the most needed ones for the qualitative improvement of life for the silver generation. In this research, ananalysis was conducted on 244 persons of the silver generation living in Seoul, in order to examine the factors affecting the quality of the beauty service for the silver generation and their relationships with customer loyalty. For the statistical treatment of the empirical analysis, the SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical programs were used. The results of the analysis showed that the service quality perceived by the silver customers who used the beauty service had significant effects on trust and flow, which are the relationship qualities, and that trust and flow had positive effects on customer loyalty. Also, it was found that, in the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty, trust had mediating effects on reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance, and that flow had mediating effects on reliability, responsiveness, empathy, assurance, and tangibility. The results of this research are significant in that they present the basic data enabling the beauty industry to play an important role for the silver generation, under the present circumstances in which the beauty service industry has minimal educational programs exclusively available for the silver generation.

Analysis for Willingness to Pay of the Advanced Railway System (차세대전동차 시스템 도입에 따른 이용자 지불의사금액 결정요인분석)

  • Research and development related to advanced railway systems is currently underway presently to promote the maintenance and economic feasibility of subways, and the aim of such research and development is to enhance the functionality, passenger convenience, system safety and reliability assurance of the subway. In this situation, a study that predicts the effect that the development of such an advanced railway system would have on subway users is required. To this end, this study derived willingness to pay and decision factors with the introduction of an advanced railway system after surveying passengers who use subway lines 1~8. The Price Sensitivity Method (PSM) was applied to derive the willingness to pay in relation to user convenience (operating speed, ride comfort, safety, comfort, security and informativeness) with the introduction of an advanced railway system. In addition, willingness to pay and decision factors were examined after explaining the effects of introducing an advanced railway system in detail to subway users. Through the analysis, it was found that willingness to pay amounted to a premium of 148 won ~ 161 won with the introduction of an advanced railway system, and that this was affected by factors such as gender, frequency of use, satisfaction with comfort, and satisfaction with security.

Relations of Married Women and their Own Parents in Japan: Coresidence and Contact Frequency (일본 기혼여성들과 친정부모간의 세대관계: 동거여부 및 대화빈도를 중심으로)

  • Few studies have done on the intergenerational relations of married women and their own parents in Japan. This study approaches the topic by examining coresidence and contact frequency between generations. The study expects the likelihood of living together (including living next door) and the extent of contact would differ by the characteristics of woman, her husband, children, her brothers and sisters, her own parents and parents-in-law. From the 2003 Survey for National Family Research in Japan, selected are 853 currently married women in their 30s and 40s whose parent and parents-in-law are alive. The analysis shows that the likelihood of living together with parents decreases as the number of brothers and sisters increases. In particular, the presence of brother substantially decreases the likelihood. Having father only alive (vs. having both parents alive) also increases the likelihood. The frequency of contact with parents is conditioned by the coresidence with parents-in-law. It also differs by the level of education and its gap between spouses. Subjective evaluation of husband's attitude toward her parents is important. As in the case of living together, the number of brothers and sisters and the survival status of parents are significant in explaining the frequency of contact with her parents. The results indicate that number of brothers and sisters as well as widowhood of parents serves as its demographic condition. The findings that the frequency of contact with parent are affected by coresidene with parents-in-law, education gap between spouses and husband's attitude toward her parents suggest that the relationship of married women with her own parents are conditioned by her husband and his parents.

The Effect of Young Generation's Fairness Perception on Hopelessness: Mediating Effect of Perceived Control and Moderating Effect of Self-Esteem (청년세대의 공정성 인식이 무망감에 미치는 영향: 통제감의 매개효과와 자존감의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of the young generation's Fairness perception on the hopelessness at the present time when the hopelessness of the future that young generation is experiencing is growing with social interest. This study examined the mediating effects of the perceived control and moderating effect self-esteem between the fairness perception and the hopelessness of the young generation. For this purpose, the self-reporting data of 313 young people in their 20s and 30s were collected. The results were as follows: First, fairness awareness was positively correlated with perceived control and self-esteem, and the hopelessness was negatively correlated with fairness awareness, perceive control and self-esteem. Second, perceived control mediated between fairness perception and the hopelessness, Third, self-esteem moderated the relationship between the fairness perception and the hopelessness. The high self-esteem group showed little change in hopelessness due to fairness perception while the low self-esteem group showed a big change in hopelessness due to fairness perception, which means that high self-esteem plays a role in alleviating hopelessness when fairness perception is low. The results of this study can be used as basic data to plan ways to improve mental health and quality of life.

Studies on the Life History of Nysius plebejus Distant (Hemiptera: Lygaeidae) an Insect Pest of Chrysanthemum (국화 해충의 1종인 애긴노린재의 생활사에 관한 연구)

  • Life histoy of Nysius plebejrrs, the most injurious pest in chysanthemun cultivation in Korea, was studies both in field and inseday in Chinju during 1991 and 1992 seasons, and resulis are summarized as below 7hls insect has 3 generation per year, adult peaks on the mid April, mid June and late August, and the highest number of adults were attracted to the light tmp from the late August through mid September. Overwntered generation and needed 6-7weeks from egg rnatulity m spring, and 5-6 weeks, for both the first and second generation m summer, Incubation egg periods were 142, 9.3 and 7.2 days, nymphal penods were 45.2, 32.1 and 31.2 days, and total growth periods, were 59.4. 41 4 and 38.4 days, respect~vely for the overwintered, flst and second generation. Ovipositional penods were 25.6, 23.4 and 21.2 days. and number of eggs Iald by each female were 41.5. 37.2 and 35.4 days, respedively of each generation Longevities of female were 326, 27.5 and 25.1 days. and of male were 15 2, 12.3 and 12.1 days. respectively of each generation. Sex ratlo was about 1:1 in all generation, and eggs were laid in mass on the surface of leaves or stems of the host plants. This insed over-wmters as adult (90%) or 5th instar nymph (10%), however, over-wintering adults seem to be sexually premature, and mating take place actively in the following spring.

Resistance Development and Cross-Resistance of Diamondback Moth (Lepidoptera: Plutellidae) by Single Selection of Several Insecticides (단제도태에 의한 배추좀나방(Plutella xylostella)의 약제저항성 발당과 교차저항성에 관한 연구)

  • These studles were conducted to investigate the development of chem~cal resistance and cross.resista. nce m dlarnondback moth (Piuteiia xylostella L). The resistance development of diamondback moth greatly vaned under single selection of five insectlades. The tnflumuron and lambda cyhalothnn strains at 8th selected generation showed 374- and 29.l.fold resistant levels. respectively, as compared with the susceptible strain. However, the Baciilus thuringiensis-seleded at 8th selected generatLon exhibited 240-fold resistant level. and the prothiophos-selected at 8th generation revealed 14.3-fold resistant !eve1 while the cartap hydrochloride-selected at 8th generailon showed 9.1-fold resistant level Prothiophos- selected strain showed low cross-resistance level to cartap hydrochloride, while this strain exhibited no cross-resistance of 1.3 to 2.8-fold to other msectlcides. Cartap hydrochlonde- seleded strain showed 19.9-fold. a high cross-resistance to lambda cyhalothrin, but this strain showed 2.2-34 fold, no cross resistance to other insecticide. Lambda cyhalothnn-selected strain exhibited cross-resistance to cartap hydrochlolide and prothiophas. Triflumuron-seleded strain showed 1.3-4.9 fold. no cross-resistance to other ~nsectic~dTe he B. ihuring~ensis-selededs train showed no cross-resistance to other insecticides.

Time Trends in Estimates of Genetic Parameters in a Population of Layer Breeders (난용종계 집단에서의 선발에 의한 유전모수 변화 양상)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the time-trends of genetic parameters of the dosed flock population which selected for improving egg production. Data for two layer pure lines, Line-W (Single Comb White Leghorn) and Line-B (brown layer) which have been maintained at the Mani Breeding Farm were collected from 1980 to 1985 during 5 generations. The effective number of parents per generation ranged from 148 to 366 in Line-W and 85 to 355 in Line-B, and the cumulative expected inbreeding coefficients during 5 generations of selection were 15% and 1.6%. So inbreeding could not be considered a critical factor on estimating the genetic parameters, heritabilities and genetic correlations Heritabilities of EN 300 and EN 400, primary two selected traits were significantly decreased during 5 generations but the estimates of the other 03its not showed the consistent decreasing pattern significantly. No time trends of probable consequence were evident in the genetic correlation coefficients of the traits studied. The reason for that situation was attributed to the fact that selection was conducted for multiple objectives and the relative importance of selection for the studied traits were not consistent by generations.

Predicting the Occurrence of Generation for Riptortus pedestris (Fabricius) Using Their Body Color (톱다리개미허리노린재의 체색변이를 이용한 발생세대 예측)

  • Riptortus pedestris (Fabricius) is one of the important insect pests of leguminous crops, which occurs in most areas of South Korea. It is hard to distinguish each generation in crop fields since not only the longevity of adult R. pedestris is long but also the developmental period is short. Especially, the 2nd generation adults cause enormous damage to soybean while the occurrence time is synchronized with the podding stage of soybean. Controlling the 1st generation of R. pedestris helps to decrease the damage by decreasing the 2nd generation density. This study was conducted to distinguish between the 1st generation and the overwintering generation by using differences in body coloration which is dependent on the day-length during the nymph stage. In addition, the difference was verified by the population dynamics model of R. pedestris. The occurrence time of 1st generation adults could be considered when the summer form is 20% or more. These results will be used for beneficial management decisions to reduce the 2nd generation population.
