본 글은 1999년 5월 CASA/SME Blue Book에 Jim Jordan 그리고 Fred Michel이 “Next Generation Manufacturing”라는 제목으로 게재한 자료를 편자의 의도에 따라 재편집한 것입니다. CASA(Computer and Automated Systems Association)는 SME(Society of Manufacturing Engineers)에서 활동하고 있는 하나의 분과로서 CIM Enterprise Wheel을 만들어 내 유명한 곳이기도 합니다. 저자는 본 글에서 앞으로 10여년 간 펼쳐질 차세대 제조 시스템에서는 지식경영이 가장 중요한 요소라고 정의하고 있습니다. 그리고 차세대 제조 시스템의 운영전략으로는 기업통합, 인간자원의 지적이용, 지식의 개발 및 유지, NGM 프로세스 장비 및 기술의 채용을 들고 있습니다.

This study started from ideas on lack of discussion regarding age integration emphasized as an alternative paradigm for aged society and exclusion of policy target from discussion on age integration. This study analyzed potentiality of age integration through comparing the perception on impacts of age integration between policy target and professional. Results showed that policy target perceived social and individual effects of age integration more sceptically than professional. Also, policy target reported higher levels of agreement on development of age friendly environment and increase in social contribution by the aged as social impacts of age integration. Otherwise policy target, professional showed higher levels of agreement on enhancement of social solidarity and increase in mutual understanding among generations. In perception on individual impacts of age integration, policy target differed from professional by emphasizing extension of self-determination and self-autonomy. Lastly, group membership of policy target or professional significantly determined levels of agreement on positive impacts of age integration.

ICT convergence using smart livestock is that in the first-generation dairy smart farm model, each device made by several manufacturers uses its own communication method, limiting the mutual operation of each device. This study uses a model based on open control technology to secure interoperability of existing ICT devices and to manage data efficiently. The open integrated control derived from this process is the software interface structure of Open API. It is an observer that serves as real-time data collection according to the communication method of ICT devices and sensors located at each end. It consists of a broker that connects and transmits to the upper integrated management server. As a result of the performance analysis through verification of two first-generation dairy smart farm model sites, the average daily milk production increased compared to the previous year (farm A 5.13%, farm B 1.33%, p<0.05). Cow days open (DO) was reduced by 17.5% on farm A and 13.3% for farm B(p<0.05). Cows require an adaptation period after the introduction of the ICT device, but if continuous effects are observed, the effect of production can be expected to increase gradually.

본 논문에서는 지방자치단체(지자체)에서 관리하는 다양한 예·경보시스템들이 별도의 서버로 관리되어 다원화 운영으로 복잡할 뿐만 아니라 제공하는 정보의 내용과 범위도 통일되지 않았던 문제점과 중앙 정부에서 재난정보 전달에 대한 결과 정보를 실시간으로 확인이 어려웠던 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안 및 시스템에 대해서 제안한다. 제안하는 차세대 통합 예·경보 플랫폼은 웹서비스 형태로 접속하여 부여된 권한에 따라 재난정보를 한 번의 클릭을 통해 다양한 매체로 전달할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 재난정보 전달에 대한 결과도 실시간으로 확인 가능한 장점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 예·경보시스템의 현황을 살펴보고 이를 기반으로 차세대 통합 예·경보 플랫폼의 구조 및 전달하는 재난정보 프로파일을 제안하고 이를 통해 기존 예·경보 시스템을 통합 연동 및 관리하는 방안에 대해 설명한다.

This paper studies a system design of testifying next generation convergence network. Next generation convergence network includes such elements as not only various gateway systems interworking with conventional PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) but also various protocols communicating between gateway systems and softswitches or gateway controllers. Discussed are an effective system solution to verify functionalities and performance of protocols professing. From such discussion, the study identifies functional blocks and operational flows required for establishing a test system, and then with a basis of these proposes a system architecture. Finally this paper presents system design results and its implemented functional details.

XML이 기업간 데이터 교환뿐만 아니라 차세대 기업 정보시스템의 핵심기술로 떠오르면서 XML 데이터를 원형 그대로 저장하는 데이터베이스 관리시스템이 차세대 DBMS (DataBases Management System) 플랫폼으로 부상하고 있다. DBMS 업계는 XML이 현재 전자상거래 등 기업간 정보유통에 주로 적용되고 있으나 웹서비스가 본격 구현되면 기업간시스템도 XML 기반으로 점차 전환될 것으로 보고 XML 데이터의 효율적인 저장 관리하는 데이터베이스 개발에 경쟁적으로 나서고 있다. 현재 주류를 이루는 관계형 데이터베이스는 XML 데이터를 지원하기 위해 다른 포맷의 데이터를 XML로 변환하거나 반대의 작업을 하는 툴을 이용하고 있으나, DBMS 처리속도가 떨어지는 등의 문제가 있어 XML 데이터를 원형 그대로 저장하거나 불러올 수 있는 DBMS 수요가 늘어날 것으로 전망된다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 XML 데이터를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 3단계를 통한 데이터베이스 스키마와 XML Schema로의 변환을 위한 통합 설계 방법론을 제안한다.

최근 인터넷 관련 기술이 급속하게 발진하고 있다. 과거의 단순한 데이터 서비스에서 음성, 화상 등의 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 모든 미디어가 인터넷으로 수렴되는 NGN(Next Generation Network)으로 발진되어 가고 있다. 개방형 네트워크는 다양한 유무선 통합망의 융합화에 따른 통신망간의 간섭이 증가하고 네트워크 접속점 중심의 통신망간 접속구조가 확대되어 지금까지의 시스템 보안 위주의 단순한 보안 기술을 적용하기가 어려웠다. 따라서 네트워크 노드간을 효율적으로 보호하는 네트워크 중심의 보안 기술이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 논문은 진화망을 중심으로 하는 통신 산업의 유 무선 데이터 서비스 증가로 원래 데이터 서비스를 위하여 설계된 것에 다양한 데이터 응용 서비스의 하나로 진화 서비스를 수용학 수 있는 새로운 통신 인프라를 구축하여 통합하는 차세대 통신망에 대해서 살펴보고 차세대 통신망(NGN)에서의 보안기술을 연구한다.

모바일 트래픽의 증가와 새로운 서비스의 진화방향은 5세대 이동통신 기술을 요구하고 있다. 혁신적 접근방법의 5세대 이동통신 기술은 이를 실험하고 검증하기 위한 테스트베드 구현이 바탕이 되어야 한다. 또한, 다각도의 핵심 성능 파라미터에 부합하는 각 기술 요소 간 연동 및 점진적 접근방법에 따라 발전하는 4세대 이동통신 기술과의 공존성 검증은 개방형 글로벌 테스트베드의 실현을 필요로 한다. 본고에서는 5세대 이동통신의 요구사항 및 주요기술을 소개하며, 세계 각국과 기관에서 제시하고 있는 5세대 글로벌 테스트베드 구축을 위한 기술동향을 분석하여 소개하고자 한다. 개방형 5세대 테스트베드는 개별적으로 개발된 5세대 기술들의 통합 시험 및 서비스 시험을 제공함으로써 새로운 통신시장 발전의 터전이 될 것이다.

This paper presents a quality-of-service-enabled next generation local area network architecture which can provide efficiently convergence services over the Internet protocol. The basic concept of the architecture is to combine such three principle technologies as programmable switched network quality-of-service resource management and Internet protocol based network convergence. We discuss system entities and technologies development, which constitute the proposed network. The architecture of the network is then described. Implementation of systems verifies the proposed technologies. The network as a next generation local area network can provide quality-of-service-enabled real-time communication services as well as existing data traffic, and the open programmable interface can facilitates to adopt cost-effectively emerging new services or functionalities.

정보생산을 촉진하는 새로운 형태의 사이버공간이 나타나면서 지식의 창출과 지식을 얻는 형태가 변화하고 있다. 최종사용자에게 웹 애플리케이션을 제공하는 컴퓨팅 플랫폼인 web 2.0의 도입으로 손쉽게 자신이 필요한 정보를 분류할 수 있는 웹 컨텐츠가 활발히 제공되고 있으며 제공된 컨텐츠를 활용하여 수많은 정보 속에서 자신만의 보석을 찾아 손쉽게 지식을 쌓아 관리를 하고 있다. 이러한 지식공유서비스는 무분별한 정보, 중복된 지식, 그리고 단순한 관리로 인해 자신이 원하는 지식을 얻기란 쉽지 않은 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에서는 온라인상의 정보를 탐색하기 위해서 인터넷을 이용하던 네티즌들이 정보생산자로서 참여하는 공간으로 등장한 '지식공유서비스'를 기반으로 지식 창출 및 관리자로서 시니어를 활용하여 지식의 수용자로서 유아들을 위한 NIE (News In Education) 활용 교육 체계를 제안한다. 뉴스는 유아부터 성인까지 활용될 수 있는 좋은 교육 자료로서 NIE를 통하여 사고력, 논리력, 표현력, 창의력 등 여러 영역에 걸친 능력을 향상시킬 수 있다. 특히 유치원이나 학교의 교과과정에 맞추어 이러한 능력들을 더욱 배가 시킬 수 있다는 점에서 NIE가 더욱 각광받고 있다. 본 연구는 미디어 융합의 결과로 인터넷 뉴스를 활용해 생활과 분리되지 않은 통합교육을 할 수 있는 SCORM 기반의 유아용 콘텐츠를 생성하여 유아 교육에 활용하고자 한다. 또한, 유아용 NIE 교육 콘텐츠는 시니어들을 NIE 강사로 양성하였을 때 학습 자료로도 활용된다. 시니어들을 NIE 강사로 양성함으로써 시니어의 일자리 창출 및 지역사회 통합과 1세대인 여성시니어와 3세대인 아동 간의 세대통합을 이끌어 낼 수 있도록 하는 것에 목적을 두고 시니어 NIE 콘텐츠를 생성하고자 한다. NIE에 생성되는 지식을 생성하고 관리하기 위한 지식 솔루션으로 위키의 기능을 추가하여 개발하고자 한다. 위키를 사용하므로 개별적으로 존재하던 지식을 공동의 지식으로 공유할 수 있으며 의견을 하나로 통합하는 과정에서도 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 위키를 이용한 시니어 NIE 콘텐츠에서는 교수 학습 계획안 및 NIE 아이디어를 공동 작업을 통하여 효율적으로 지식을 생성할 수 있으며 여러 사람들이 여러 단계를 거치면서 하나의 정제된 지식을 생성하게 되므로 양질의 교수 학습 계획안이나 NIE 아이디어를 창출할 수 있을 것이다.
