The Mediating Effects of Emotional Dysregulation on the Relationship between Self-esteem and Aggresssion (자존감과 공격성의 관계에서 정서조절곤란의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effect of emotional dysregulation on the relationship between the specific domains of self-esteem and aggression. Three questionnaire were administered to 287 individuals and the multiple regression analyses and Baron and Kenny's hierarchical regression analyses were used. The result shows that social and objective ability and positive character had significant influence on aggression, while impulse control difficulties, lack of emotional clarity and limited access to emotion regulation strategies largely contributed to aggression. Moreover, emotional dysregulation functioned as a significant mediator variable for explaining the link between self-esteem and aggression. Impulse control difficulties have fully mediated positive personality and hostility, limited access to emotion regulation has partially mediated social and objective ability and hostility, respectively.

  • The purpose of this study is to use films character education lessons to be enabled. For this study an experiment was conducted with students to character education lessons in the University of Baekseok. It was to observe whether the student's satisfaction with the questionnaire in the last lesson of character education. Observations of character education with film are very effective for University students. Therefore, this paper is to share the following results. First, this study is a model of teaching character education through film that would be proposed. Second, using film character education lessons will be conducted in a real university. Thus, the satisfaction of students will be examined. Third, using film to demonstrate the effectiveness of character education classes would be. Finally, the use of film in teaching character education curriculum according to the character would be proposed.

  • The purpose of this study was to find the optimal swelling method and condition for seacucumber to improve its taste and texture to accomodate the rapid increase of consumption. Another purpose was to try to determine an easy way to soak dried sea-cucumber under different conditions, and identify the influence of swelling time on the texture of sea-cucumber, in order to reduce preparation time and provide basic data for easy handling. After boiling or steaming for six different periods including 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes the texture of the sea-cucumbers were compared, For the additive test, the sea-cucumbers were boiling for 30 minutes period with 4 different additives and the textures were compared, Since the texture is an important characteristic of sea-cucumber, there are many variables that affect this property including the, drying and preservation methods. This study provides basic understanding of the influence of the heating method, time and temperature on the swelling of sea-cucumber for handy use at processing sites.

A Study on Moral Systems of Aristotle and Kang Jeungsan: Focusing on the Nature of Virtue and Teleological Characteristics (아리스토텔레스와 강증산(姜甑山) 성사(聖師)의 덕(德)이론 고찰 -덕의 속성 및 목적성과 관련하여-)

  • The most common and prevailing system of virtue ethics is based around the idea of personality rather than external behavior and it grew out of the Aristotelian system of virtue ethics. The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of the virtue ethics found within Daesoon Thought through comparison to Aristotelian virtue ethics. This can serve as a basis to establish the virtue ethics of Daesoon Thought in further studies. The systems of virtue ethics posited by the two traditions are similar in that they are both teleological as the virtues they recognize are related to human nature in the context of certain metaphysical assumption and they both exhibit the characteristic tendencies of seeking to realize the highest human good. Therefore, in the Aristotelian context, virtues can be defined as "characteristics needed for the realization of eudaimonia," and for Daesoon Thought, virtues are "characteristics needed for the realization of the Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence." The representative virtues examined in this comparative study will be the Aristotelian Golden Mean, and the the concepts of guarding against self-deception and great benevolence and great justice in Daesoon Thought. In comparison to Aristotelian virtues, these differ in three main ways. First, Aristotelian virtue is not an innate aspect of character the way it is assumed to be in Daesoon Thought wherein the original human heart bestowed by Heaven is already virtuous. Second, mental virtue in the Aristotelian context centers the mind upon reason whereas in Daesoon Thought, the heart-mind exhibits both reason and emotional concern for others. Third, eudaimonia is a concept limited to humans and their societies whereas the Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence is a good that includes all beings including divine beings, animals, plants, and Heaven and Earth. Despite the differences, both require practical reason, continuous education, and effort to succeed in the cultivation of virtues and the proper implementation of virtuous living.

  • The Purpose of this paper is, through the character-figuration aspect of existing Yeoheon Jang Hyungwang(旅軒 張顯光, 1554~1637)-related folk tales, to determine the relation between the people's awareness on Yeoheon and the change in the folk tales. Only 4 pieces of Yeoheon-related folk tales are existed ; ; Forgiving a rude son of the provincial governor generously. ; Predicting 'the frost of May' and Preventing the cold-weather damage, when he served as Euiseong governor, and ; The folk tales of origins of the place name - Chimabawi Rockand Yeoheondae. shows the great scholar's liberal-hearted and generous personality. One day Jang Hyungwang looked shabby and a young person was quite rude to him. But Jang Hyungwang forgive him generously. Also Yeoheon teach him the thrift and modesty. described him as a governor filled with a love for the people. He tried to edify the people with the Confucian ethics and improve the life's work of the people. embodied him as a government official of high integrity. When his wife received the silk slip from the people, as farewell gift, he ordered his wife return that. and show the images of the Predicting the future and an extraordinary moralizer. Generally These folk tales are based on his personality, whereabouts and the real case. So we could find his images in the folk tales are close to his actual feature - thrift, modest, noble-minded, well-versed in Iching and practicing moral statesmanship.

Moreover, the formative character of educare can be recognised in the German concept Bildung, which focuses on human beings in their wholeness, on their attitude within society and their worldview. What shape has been given in the Netherlands to these different aspects of education over the centuries? Without creating the impression that a linear development in thinking about - and acting in - education has taken place throughout history, and without the ambition to be comprehensive, we look at what took place between adults and children in previous centuries in the Netherlands. Will our investigation yield historical constants or differences? We let ourselves be surprised.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the life and poetry of Hanchung. The reason for studying Hanchong is because there is no research on Hanchong until now. In Chapter 2, I looked at the life and poetry of Hanchung. One thing to pay attention to in the life of Hanchung is that Hanchung has excellent writing ability. When Hanchung went to the envoys in China, Hanchung was recognized for outstanding Chinese writing by Chinese officials. Another thing to pay attention to in the life of Hanchung is the upright character of Hanchung. Hanchung judged Nam-gon as a delicate person and did not live a life to cooperate with him. He vigorously rejected Namgon. Because of that, Hanchung was killed by Namgon. In Chapter 3, I examined the poems of Hanchung. The poem of Hanchung can be divided into three kinds. First, it reveals the love of the people. This comes from the heart of a child who pity the poor. Second, it is the mind to live while keeping the fidelity of life. This is reflected in the images of bamboo, pine and pine trees. Third, poetry criticizes reality. There are poems in Hanchung that reveal criticism of loneliness and reality. This is a political reality that is not right at the base. So, it can be said that it is a city that reveals the reality criticism after all.

  • 내가 생명과학에 관심을 갖게 된 것은 고3때다. 처음엔 의사이신 아버님을 이어 의대진학을 준비하다가 2학기 접어들어 생물학과로 바꿨다. 서울대 화학과를 거쳐 대학원 생화학부에 진학했으나 연구여건이 나빠 63년 미국으로 유학, 조그만 대학도시 한 학교에서만 30년의 연구생활을 하다가 귀국했다. Chopel Hill에서 주임교수였던 Irvin교수는 온화한 성품으로 나에게 연구자세를 가르쳐주신 은사로 지금도 늘 감사를 드린다. 93년 포항공대에 올 때까지 유전자와 염색질 단백질에 관한 연구를 계속했는데 우리나라에 와서 젊은 생명과학자들과 같이 일을 할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 되어 고맙게 생각한다.
