The Proposal of Performance Evaluation Techniques for Demo Plant System of SWG (SWG Demo Plant 시스템에 대한 성능평가 기법 제시)

  • SWG(Smart Water Grid)는 한정적인 수자원을 효율적으로 이용하고 사용자 입맛에 맞춰 물을 안정적으로 공급하고자 하는 양방향 개념으로 수자원 분야에서 각광받는 실정이다. SWG의 성능을 평가하는 연구사례는 많지 않으며 현재 국내의 경우 실증단지를 구축하고 있는 단계이다. 그러므로 성능평가를 수행하기 위한 실측자료가 부재하므로 성능평가 지표선정에 활용 할 수 있는 자료가 제한적이다. 따라서 미국의 Leed, 영국의 BREEAM, 일본의 CASBEE, 호주의 Green Star의 인증 기준에서 수자원에 대한 항목과 기존의 IWA, World Bank, AWWA, JWWA, OFWAT 같은 해외 상수도 수행능 지표와 상수도 및 정수장 기술진단에서 제시하는 기준을 바탕으로 성능평가지표를 선정 보완하여 Water Facility Index, Smart Index, Optimum System Index로 분류하여 각 세부의 성능평가지표를 선정하였다. 선정된 지표는 AHP기법를 활용하여 1-4단계에 걸쳐 계층화를 실시하고 Bottom-up방식으로 4단계에서부터 1단계로 평가를 진행하도록 구성했다. 4단계에서는 계층 별 쌍대비교 결과를 바탕으로 중요도에 따른 가중치를 부여하고 차등 점수를 적용하며, 이는 3단계에서 필수적으로 만족해야하는 지표들을 설정하고 평가하기 위해 사용된다. 3단계에서는 지표평가 후 "보통" 이상의 점수를 획득해야 2단계로 진행할 수 있고, 2단계에서는 3가지 큰 지표를 설정 후 총점 기준 60%이상의 최소득점 기준을 만족해야 1단계로 진행할 수 있도록 구성했다. 이러한 절차를 바탕으로 마지막 1단계에서는 100점을 만점으로 하는 6단계의 최종성능을 평가하는 결과를 제시할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 국외 성능평가 사례 중 SWG와 관련된 지표를 구성하여 성능평가를 수행할 수 있는 기법을 제안하였다. 향후 지속적인 연구 진행 결과와 실측자료를 수집하여 수정 및 보완이 수행될 예정이다.

  • In a performance-based evaluation of structures in use, the current performance is assessed by summing up the weighting of the evaluation indices for each performance. In this study, to suggest a performance-based evaluation technique for NATM tunnels in use, the performance evaluation indices were derived by examining the characteristics and similarities of each index developed from previous study. The weighting of the evaluation indices was derived by calculating the relative importance of each evaluation indices from the AHP analysis. In order to develop a quantitative evaluation model, grading criteria for each performance index was derived through literature review, and performance evaluation tables for road and railway tunnels were presented. In order to verify the significance of the proposed performance evaluation model, the correlation analysis was performed between each evaluation index and the final evaluation result. In the correlation analysis, the survey data measured through precision safety diagnosis in the tunnel in use was applied. It may be said that the proposed evaluation indices, weighting, criteria and evaluation models for tunnels in use can be applied to the performance-based maintenance system of tunnels.

  • This study deals with the assessment indices about greening performance of datacenter. To do this, we survey existing standards and guidelines about datacenter. Those are used constructing new model of datacenter regarding greening performance. In this model, the relationship between major components will be represented by job-energy-thermal notation. Items, criteria and methods are created in order to complete the assessment indices. The existing assessment indices of the datacenter level and equipment level are investigated. Parameters, the degree of virtualization and energy efficiency also affects the performance of the green performance. Finally, to determine the improvements, the proposed indices is compared with the existing assessment tools.

  • This paper describes ISO/IEC TR 24029-1, an international standard to evaluate the performance of artificial intelligence systems. ISO/IEC TR 24029-1 defines the performance measures of artificial intelligence systems in two categories, i.e. interpolation and classificiation. Performance measures in the interpolation categories mean how much the predicted values of the artificial intelligence system is close to the real values. Performance measures in the classification categories mean how much the predicted classes of the artificial intelligence system is equal to the real classes. Based on these performance measures, performance of artificial intelligence systems can be evaluated and performance of different artificial intelligence systems can be compared.

  • This paper defines test methodologies and performance indices for SIP server system, and describes elements that can have influence on the test of SIP network equipments. Moreover, we implement a tester to evaluate the performance of SIP Servers such as Registrar and Proxy server. The performance indices for testing SIP servers are message processing rate, transaction delay, and call success probability. The parameters that can have an effect on the performance of SIP servers are user population, transport protocol, method of database access, method of DNS, call creation pattern, definition of transactions, and size of packets. We tested several SIP servers that act as Registrar, Proxy, and Redirect server using the implemented SIP tester, and, as a result, verified functions of the tester and performance indices and input parameters defined in this paper. Performance indices and methodologies presented in this paper can be used to evaluate SIP servers in NGN

  • 지표수문해석모형이란 전 지구를 대상으로 수문해석 및 예측이 가능한 분포형 수문모형이다. 본 연구에서는 CSEOF(Cyclostationary Empirical Orthogonal Functions) 분석 방법을 이용하여 지표수문해석 모형 중 하나인 VIC(Variable Infiltration Capacity)모형의 토양수분 모의 성능을 평가해보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 남한에 대한 VIC 모형으로 모의한 토양수분 예측 결과와 관측자료를 수집하였다. 모의 성능 평가 기간은 1976년부터 2006년까지이다. 이후 본 연구에서는 수집된 VIC 모형의 예측 결과와 관측 자료에 대한 CSEOF 분석을 수행하여 각 자료의 월별 주된 변동 특성을 추출하였다. VIC 모형의 예측 결과와 관측자료의 상관관계는 CSEOF 분석 결과에 대한 Pattern Correlation으로 정량화되었다. 이와 더불어 본 연구에서는 모형의 모의 성능 평가에 주로 사용되는 NRMSE(Nomalized Root Mean Square Error)를 산정하여 예측 결과의 오차를 평가하였다. Pattern Correlation과 NRMSE를 모두 고려하여 VIC 모형의 성능을 평가해본 결과, 건기에 해당하는 기간과 우기에 해당하는 기간의 모의 성능이 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 추후에 지표수문해석 모형의 예측 결과를 이용하는 기후변화 관련 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A Development of Evaluation Indicators for Performance Improvement of Horticultural Therapy Garden (원예치료정원의 성능개선을 위한 평가지표 개발)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop evaluation indicators forperformance improvement of horticultural therapy garden. In order to achieve a therapeutic purpose, the gardening activity held by the trained horticultural therapist. Moreover, horticultural therapy is 'a medical model' for the treatment and basic premise of the research was set, as horticultural therapy garden is characterized area to support activities of patients and horticultural therapist functionally and efficiently. For this study, three times of Delphi and AHP techniques were proceeded to export panels who were recruited by purposive sampling. Through these techniques, it was possible to deduct the evaluation indicator which maximizes the performance of the horticultural therapy garden. The evaluation items were prioritized by typing and stratification of the indicator. The results and discussions were stated as followings. Firstly, a questionnaire of experts was conducted to horticultural therapists and civil servants who were in charge of horticultural therapy. As results(horticultural therapists: 87.8%, civil servants: 75.2%), It is possible to conclude that both positions have the high recognition and agreed on the necessity of horticultural therapy. Secondly, Delphi investigation was conducted three times in order to develop the evaluation indicator for performance evaluation. After Delphi analysis, total 34 of evaluation elements to improve the performance of the horticultural therapy garden by reliability and validity analysis results. Thirdly, AHP analysis of each evaluation indicator was conducted on the relative importance and weighting. Moreover, the results showed 'interaction between nature and human' as the most important element, and in order of 'plan of the program', 'social interaction', 'sustainable environmental', and 'universal design rule', respectively. On the other hand, the exports from the university and research institute evaluated the importance of 'interaction between nature and human', while horticultural therapists chose 'plan of the program' as the most important element. Fourthly, the total weight was used to develop weight applied evaluation indicator for the performance evaluation of the horticultural therapy garden. The weight applying to evaluation index is generally calculated multiply the evaluation scores and the total weight using AHP analysis. Finally, 'the evaluation indicator and evaluation score sheet for performance improvement of the horticultural therapy garden' was finally stated based on the relative order of priority between evaluation indicators and analyzing the weight. If it was deducted the improvement points for the efficiency of already established horticultural therapy garden using the 'weight applied evaluation sheet', it is possible to expand it by judging the importance with the decision of the priority because the item importance decided by experts was reflected. Moreover, in the condition of new garden establishment, it is expected to be helpful in suggesting ways for performance improvement and in setting the guidelines by understanding the major indicators of performance improvement in horticultural therapy activity.

Speech Recognition Accuracy Measure using Deep Neural Network for Effective Evaluation of Speech Recognition Performance (효과적인 음성 인식 평가를 위한 심층 신경망 기반의 음성 인식 성능 지표)

  • This paper describe to extract speech measure algorithm for evaluating a speech database, and presents generating method of a speech quality measure using DNN(Deep Neural Network). In our previous study, to produce an effective speech quality measure, we propose a combination of various speech measures which are highly correlated with WER(Word Error Rate). The new combination of various types of speech quality measures in this study is more effective to predict the speech recognition performance compared to each speech measure alone. In this paper, we describe the method of extracting measure using DNN, and we change one of the combined measure from GMM(Gaussican Mixture Model) score used in the previous study to DNN score. The combination with DNN score shows a higher correlation with WER compared to the combination with GMM score.

홀로그래픽 디스플레이 성능평가의 의미와 체계구축에 대한 연구

  • 본 연구 논문의 목표는 홀로그래픽 디스플레이 성능평가 항목을 구체적으로 정리하며 성능평가 정의를 기반으로 홀로그래픽 디스플레이의 화질평가 방법을 제안한다. 홀로그래픽 디스플레이를 통하여 제공되는 입체 시 인지요인의 만족지표를 설정하고 디스플레이 되는 홀로그래픽 디스플레이의 광학적 요구 사항과 관련된 성능 평가 항목을 정의 한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 위상 광변조기(Phase SLM)를 이용한 실험장치를 구성하여 획득한 홀로그래픽 재생영상을 분석함으로써 홀로그래픽 디스플레이의 영상이 갖추어야 할 평가지표를 나타낸다. 평가 항목과 관련하여 모듈레이션 전이함수(Modulation Transfer Function)를 이용한 해상도(resolution)와 대조비(contrast)에 대한 결과를 분석하였으며 마지막으로 획득된 간섭무늬(Fringe Pattern)의 랜덤 위상 노이즈(Random Phase Noise)에 따른 화질 저하에 대한 정량 분석결과를 나타낸다.

국내 원자력발전소의 비계획정지 성능지표 연구

  • 원자력발전소의 산업계와 규제기관에서는 원자력발전소의 성능(performance)수준 향상과 대 국민 알권리 충족, 규제업무 효율화를 위하여 정량적인 성능지표를 개발하여 사용해왔다. 국내의 원자력 규제 기관인 한국원자력안전기술원은 WANO (world association of nuclear operators)와 미국 핵규제위원회(NRC)의 발전소 종합성능평가 (reactor oversight process)에서 사용하는 성능지표를 토대로 국내 원자력발전소 성능지표를 개발하여 사용 중이다 ( 1 ). 개발된 국내 원자력발전소의 성능지표는 초기사건, 안전계통 신뢰도, 방사선 안전 등 11개 지표로 이루어졌다. 각 지표별 등급을 4개(녹색, 하늘색, 노랑색, 주황색)로 나누어 알기 쉽게 표시하였다.(중략)
