  • 스크류 압축기는 진동이 적고, 소형이면서 고효율을 유지하기가 용이하다는 특징을 가지고 있으며, 원통형 밀패용기 내에 암,수로터가 서로 반대 방향으로 맞물려 회전하면서, 로터홈과 케이싱 사이에 생기는 공간의 용적이 로터회전에 의해서 가스를 흡입, 압축, 배출하는 합축기 이다. 본 연구는 로터의 치형 함수의 기하학적성질 및 제한사항을 고려하여, 대칭 치형을 치수의 조합과, 원, 점, 직선, 타원을 사용하여 비대칭 치형을 설계하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 설계된 치형과 기존의 치형을 치형 형상의 변화에 따른 특성값 (실라인길이, 누설삼각형, 용적곡선, 흡입 및 토출 홈면적)의 변화에 대하여 연구함으로서 성능검토를 시도하였다.

  • After the east Japan earthquake last March 2011, social interests are intensified in the area of increasing the earthquake resistant ability and the necessity of design method that can minimize the damage from earthquake. If bridges are damaged or collapsed, the social and economic effects are so severe that the evaluation of earthquake resistant ability becomes very important. The reviewing methods for earthquake resistant ability are many, but majority of these methods are deterministic. Thus, for the safety assessment of structures for earthquake, the method for evaluating fragility according to the stage of damage is necessary. In this paper, the fragility curves for PSC Box Girder bridge using LRB and RFPB are constructed for PGA, PGV, SA, SV, SI and the two isolators are compared.

  • This paper proposed a high impedance fault detection method using a neural network on distribution lines. The $\upsilon-i$ characteristic curve was obtained by high impedance fault data tested in various soil conditions. High impedance fault was simulated using EMTP. The pattern of High Impedance Fault on high density pebbles was taken as the learning model, and the neural network was evaluated on various soil conditions. The average values after analyzing fault current by FFT of even.odd harmonics and fundamental rms were used for the neural network input. Test results were verified the validity of the proposed method .ethod .

  • Generally, there are two methods in researching internal combustion engines. One is by experimental research and the other is by computer simulation. The experimental research has many merits that researchers can get data for engine performance, but it has also some demerit of cost and time. If there is an engine simulation code with accuracy for the solution, it is very convenient to predict the performance and optimum design value of the engine. In this study, engine performance simulation program has been improved to predict the transient variation of properties of gas in cylinder, intake and exhaust manifolds, There total program code was developed to calculate the pressure, flame factor and turbulent intensity, As a result of present study, the authors could predicted the in-cylinder pressure, intake manifold pressure and the engine performance in various conditions. The authors also could easily prepare the tool if optimum design of manifold and in-cylinder geometry.

  • This paper proposes a method to improve the performance of low cost infrared distance sensor. Infrared distance sensor measures the intensity of reflected light and converts it into distance. The proposed method improves the sensing distance of the sensor and makes it operate robustly in various lighting environments. This is achieved by extracting the characteristic curves of the sensor and applying the HDR (High Dynamic Range) technique. The output value of the sensor was obtained by varying the intensity of the infrared input and the exposure time, and the characteristic curve of the sensor was extracted from it.

  • 석탄가스화복합발전소내 공기분리장치와 연계된 가스터빈 공기압축기의 성능병화를 예측할 수 있는 해석방법을 제안하였다. 공기분리장치와 연계된 가스터빈용 공기압축기의 성능변화는 유선곡률방법과 압력손실모델을 결합한 해석방법을 사용하였으며, 예측결과들을 실제 압축기성능 시험 결과와 비교하여 예측정확도를 검증하였다. 제안된 압축기성능 해석방법을 근간으로, 압축기와 공기분리장치의 연계조건인 열교환기의 핀치포인트 온도차, 추출공기량 및 추출 공기압력이 압축기 성능변화에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 예측하였다. 공기추출량이 늘어나거나 핀치포인트 온도차가 커질수록, 압축기의 압축비 및 소요동력은 증가하나, 압축기 효율은 공기추출량의 증가에 따라 고압공기추출시에는 저하되고, 저압공기추출시에는 향상되었다. 더 나아가, 압축기의 일반화된 성능특성곡선의 제시를 통해, 압축기 효율을 극대화 할 수 있는 압축기/공기분리장치 간 연계조건의 최적화를 시도하였다.

Inverse Characterization Method Based on 9 Channel Tone Response Curves for Display Device (디스플레이 장치를 위한 9개 채널 계조 응답 곡선에 기반한 역 특성화 기법)

  • Display characterization, deriving the relationship between digital input values and the corresponding CIEXYZ tri-stimulus values, is important to reproduce the accurate color in color management system. The relationship can be estimated from the nine channel TRCs(tone response curves) and the result of this characterization method is better than that of using three channel TRCs. However, the inverse display characterization using nine channel TRCs cannot be directly inverted because the CIEXYZ values corresponding to each of RGB values are inseparable. Accordingly, inverse display characterization is usually implemented by the 3D-LUT (look-up table) method. Although the result of 3B-LUT is accurate, creating the 3D-LUT requires a lot of memory space and considerable amount of measurements. Therefore the inverse characterization method is proposed based on the modeling of channel-dependent values and nine channel inverse process based on the GOG(gain, offset gamma) model. The proposed method enhances the accuracy of display characterization and reduces the complexity and the number of measurements data required for accuracy in 3-D LUT.

  • In this paper, we implement Microsoft COM software modules for elliptic curve cryptographic applications and analyze its performance. The implemented COM software modules support all elliptic curve key exchange protocols and elliptic curve digital signature algorithm in IEEE 1363 finite fields GF(p) and GF(2m). Since the implemented software modules intend to focus on a component-based software development method, and thus it have a higher productivity and take systematic characteristics to be open outward and to be standardized. Accordingly, it enable a software to be developed easier and faster rather than a method using C library. In addition it support the Microsoft COM interface, we can easily implement secure software applications based on elliptic curve cryptographic algorithms.

  • In a magnetic train set composed of more than two cars, the installation of dampers between cars is carefully considered for improving both the ride quality and the safety, particularly during curve negotiation. In this study, a dynamic simulation of the ride quality and curve negotiation of a Maglev vehicle was carried out. The dynamic model is developed based on multibody dynamics. The presented full vehicle multibody dynamic model integrates the electromagnet model and its control algorithm. By using this model, the effects of the dampers are numerically analyzed. The proposed damper is installed on the vehicle and tested to analyze its effects. In this study, the simulation and measured results of the vehicle behavior and ride quality are discussed.

Shield Ratio and Thrust Performance Analysis According to The S-Type Nozzle of The Centerline Shape (S-형 노즐 형상의 중심선 형태에 따른 차폐율과 추력 성능 해석)

  • In this study, the effect of nozzle performance according to the selection of the center line equation. Three of S-type nozzles and three of double S-type nozzles were designed using the curve equation and design parameters, and the nozzle shielding performance was evaluated using the shielding ratio definition. In order to analyze the internal flow of the nozzle, the characteristics of the velocity distribution and pressure distribution were studied, and the nozzle performance was evaluated through the total thrust ratio(f) and the nozzle insulation efficiency coefficient(η). On the other hand, the centerline with a sharply change in curvature at the entrance has a low nozzle performance and a high shielding rate. The double S-type nozzle is excellent nozzle performance and shielding rate by using a smooth centerline at the first curvature.
