To investigate the current status of Sex Education for children with Developmental Disabilities and to effectively operate Sex Education programs, 12 teachers working in special education institutions and childcare services for Children with Developmental Disabilities were selected. Focus Groups Interview were conducted to identify opinions and requirements on the three themes through literature review. In the case of Sex Education for Children with Developmental Disabilities, difficulties in operating Sex Education were identified because the direction of education was inconsistent and individual characteristics and needs were not taken into account.

The purpose of this study was to investigate nurses' sexual knowledge, attitude and sex education needs of the elderly. The participants were 235 nurses who were working at hospitals, geriatric hospitals and nursing homes at I city, K city and J city in Jeollabukdo province. A survey was conducted using self questionnaire scale from December 1, 2012 to December 10, 2012. First, the mean score of sexual knowledge was $15.91{\pm}6.43$. It was statistically significant according to marital status(p=.024), workplace(p<.001), duration of work experience(p=.006), sex education needs(p<.001), sex education acceptance(p<.001). Second, the mean score of attitude was $38.26{\pm}4.41$. It was statistically significant according to workplace(p=.033), living with the elderly(p=.009), sex education needs(p<.001) and sex education acceptance(p<.001). Third, the mean score of sex education needs was $35.97{\pm}6.28$. It was statistically significant according to age(p=.023), living with the elderly(p=.014), sex education needs(p<.001) and sex education acceptance(p<.001). Nurses' knowledge on the elderly's sexuality showed a significantly positive correlation with attitude(p<.001) and sex education needs(p<.001). This study indicated that general education on sexuality of the elderly for undergraduate nursing students and registered nurses is essential. More active nursing care on the elderly's sexuality is required when providing them with health assessment and nursing interventions.

This study was done to identify sexual knowledge, sexual attitude, and parent efficacy among parents of preschool child. Participants were 70 couples, parents of preschool child. Data were analyzed using chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA. The difference in recognition and attitude about sexuality education for children among parents, person in charge of sexuality education for children(p=.043), parents' experience of sexuality education for their children(p=.043), the number of communication about sexuality with their children(p=.019), the source of information about sexuality(p=.024) showed significant difference. Sexual knowledge(p=.018) and sexual attitude(p=.006) showed meaningful difference. As a result of this study, it is necessary to develop and conduct differentiated education programs when teaching parents about sexuality education for their children in preschool period, considering these characteristics.

The personality education of the existing university is mainly focused on occupational ethics education or basic education, but the purpose and method of the personality education program is changed in preparation for the 4th industry and the related occupational personality education program is needed. In Korea, however, there is a lack of research on the development of educational programs for occupational personalities that Health care workers should have. Therefore, this study aims to confirm the effect by developing and applying a program for occupational personality education for Health care workers required for the 4th Industrial Revolution based on case-based learning. In this study, general cases and occupational cases were developed, and research tools were developed to verify the effectiveness of the occupational personality education program. The program developed in this study was provided four times for 52 students in the second and third grades college and university. This study was performed with a single group pre-post design. The data were analyzed by means of mean, standard deviation, and paired t-test. By applying the program developed in this study, accountability, honesty, consideration, collaboration, communication, and competency were improved. This confirmed the positive effect of vocational character education

The study was attempted and executed to reach the following conclusions. The period was May 1st through June 15th, 1998 and the subjects were 302 teachers consisting of School Nurses and general teachers in Pusan city. 1) The degrees of recognition of sexual roles by the subjects were compared as follows : The average point as to the recognition of sexual roles in the occupational functions by the school nurses was 2.41, higher than that of the general teachers. The average points as to the recognition of sexual roles in the attitudes by the school nurses was 2.28, higher than that of the general teachers. The average points as to the recognition of sexual roles in the abilitis was 2.26, higher than that of the general teachers. These ascertain that school nurses recognize the man has higher superities in the occupational functions, the attitudes and the abilities than the woman. 2) The degrees of demand of sexual education by the subjects were compared as follows : As to the degrees of demand of sexual education, the school nurses showed higher demand than the general teachers in the concepts such as 'the society and sexualities, physiology and actual education'. 3) The levels of the consciousness of sexual education by the subjects were compared as follows : the general teachers showed the more strict attitudes than the school nurses against the lascivious sex objects and wanted the punishment against the related students and the general teachers have myth. They claimed that their family have no relation with the sexual violence or pornography. As to the masturbation, the general teachers showed the more conservative attitudes. 4) The opinions by the subjects as to the well-qualified person in charge of sexual education in school were compared as follows : 77.3% of the school nurses, and 36.1% of the general teachers supported the school nurses.

The study was attempted to survey the recognition of sexual roles and the demand of sexual education. The period was May 1st through June 15th, 1998 and the subjects were 377 junior students and 251 parents in Pusan. This study was based on questionnaire which focused on the Han and Lee's inquiry. The analysis of collected data was executed by using SPSS/PC+. The results were as follows : (1) The average point as to the 12 items of recognition of sexual roles regarding the occupational functions by the boys was 2.92 which was higher than that of the girls(1.85). The average point as to the 14 items of recognition of sexual roles regarding the attitudes by the boys was 2.91 which was higher than that of the girls(2.13). The average point as to the 14 items of recognition of sexual roles regarding the abilities by the boys was 2.93 which was higher than that of the girls(1.96). The point as to the item of androgyny among the demand of sexual education by the girls was 3.17 which is higher than that of the boys(2.93). (2) The parents showed the higher recognition toward androcentrism than the students and the parents showed the higher demand of the overall sexual education than the students. (3) 15.7% of the students was engaged in the masturbation. The students who answered that their parents had known the masturbation by their children were 16.9%. The 59 masturbaters consisted of the boys(91.5%) and the girls(8.5%), and that showed significant difference. (4) The opinions about the well-qualified teacher of sexual education by the subjects were studied as under: 16.7% of the parents supported the nurse-teacher, meanwhile 24.7% of the students supported the nurse-teacher.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data to develop appropriate sexual education program for children in day care centers. Methods: The data were collected from 361 day care center teachers using self-report questionnaire. Results: 1) The mean score of the degree of sexual education for children was high at the score of 4.18 (${\pm}0.43$). 2) In the mean score of 3 sub-areas, 'living' area was at the highest at the point of 4.32 (${\pm}0.31$), 'social' area was 4.28 (${\pm}0.46$), and 'physical' area was 3.94 (${\pm}0.55$). 3) There was significant difference in the degree of sexual education requirement according to subject's major (t=-2.586, p=.010). Conclusion: It is necessary to include all items of sexual education for early-childhood children in day care center.

Research supports that participatory strategies are central to the success of school-based sex education. Community-based participatory approaches are increasingly recognized as a central strategy for school-based sex education for their orientation towards participant engagement in program planning, content development, implementation, and evaluation. In combination with the community-based participatory approaches, a social ecological model holds values as a tool for facilitation and planning, and potentially as an evaluation aide for school-based sex education programs. This paper describes core concepts and principles of the community-based participatory research; illustrates a social ecological model organized for school-based sex education based on qualitative evaluation results of an abstinence education program in the United States ; and suggests application strategies of the presented approaches in school-based sex education in Korea.
