This research is intended to study literatures relating to western rocking chairs style in early 20th century in order to provide basic data of designs for rockers of today in Korea and investigate characteristics of rocking chair from academic, formative and pragmatic perspectives. During the first half of 20th century, western rocking chairs (1925~1945) embodied actively the simple functionalism concept that furniture design must follow functionality considerations. Therefore, bare wood rocking chairs were without any surface decoration and tubular steel frame rocking chairs often included black leather upholstery in a bold attempt to express exposed structure. And the fact that tubular steel produced such lightweight furniture was crucial importance. Many Modernist designer created curvaceous lines of new pattern changes in their furniture. The structure of Modern rocking chair became all-important, for stylistic as well as functional reasons. Designers equated exposed structure of tubular steel and wooden frame with integrity and rationality and create an equalitarian style of design. Especially, designers in the early 20th century did use various brilliantly colored upholstery and wooden frame with simple forms of modern characteristics.

In order to reveal the differentiation of Nietzsche's justice theory, this paper attempted an intrinsic analysis of the political act of establishing a social contract with others through the fundamental concept of "will to the power", and the politics of modern nation including utilitarianism, liberalism and democracy. I will deal with criticism of ideology. In other words, it will be a work to clarify the fictitiousness and errors by digging out the ground of the value of justice as 'genealogical psychology' which strips off the psychological layers hidden behind the name of universal truth called 'virtue'. By dismantling the notion of self-righteous justice based on 'virtue' from 'immorality' as well as 'out of morality', it aims to reveal a new emotional dimension based on love, not retaliation. When Nietzsche emphasizes the role of positive emotions such as 'mercy' and 'forgiveness' rather than negative emotions such as revenge, retaliation, and grudge, while analyzing justice in the dynamics of power relations, By allowing exception rule, we will critically analyze whether universality and consistency are lost.

This paper proposes a new direction for Comparative Literature which has been deeply Eurocentric and even colonial ever since its birth. 'Comparison' in Comparative Literature has been in fact the ideological mechanism for containing, classifying, and eventually controlling all differences in the world. Literature has naturally served as a national institution of the West at epistemological and discursive level with hidden adjective "comparative". To re-conceptualize the discipline and practice of "Comparative Literature", we need to revolutionize methodology itself based on Wai Chee Dimock's idea of "Weak Theory", Foucault's "disappearance of author", and Clifford Geertz's "thick description". "Thick description" as a methodology of comparative literature re-establishes the discipline as a field of "weak theory", defusing the centrality of linguistic identity and re-making it as a "long network" of loose and missed connections. "Thick description" poses the publicness of nation-state within "confusion of tongues", problematizes the legitimacy of modern knowledge, and puts (the western) nationalism in question. With this idea as a starting point, we can re-imagine Comparative Literature anew as a field of ceaseless discourse of longer, weaker, and thicker networks of interpretation and re-interpretation of differences.

This paper will address why records management innovation needs to be considered and sought again in 2017 when Korea's new government was inaugurated, and it suggests the direction and strategies of the innovation. Now is time to inherit the innovative spirit of Roh's Participatory Government based on new methods and contents with immanent criticism. This paper proposes the innovation for the "records management by everyone," where everyone involved needs to participate in and proceed with the innovation for the sake of democracy. Not just government offices but also corporations and even ordinary people need to participate in the process of records management and share the results. Records management is necessary and required in places where democracy is practiced, where historical events occur, and where technologies are continuously innovated around the world. This paper proposes 12 strategies and 35 tasks in 6 sectors where records management is required at present. In addition, it also suggests a methodological innovation for using the latest technologies, communicating with every entity, and governing decision-making.

4M D램 공동연구 개발사업(1986.10~89.03)은 당시 미 일의 강력한 기술보호주의를 극복하기 위한 자구책으로 시작되었다. 국내 반도체업계는 선진국의 높은 기술장벽 및 기술보호주의를 극복하고, 강력한 경쟁력확보 및 기술축적을 위해 정부에 건의하였다. 이에 정부는 적극적인 자금지원을 통해 4M D램 개발 및 주변기술 개발을 목표로 초고집적반도체기술공동개발사업을 수행하게 되었다. 본 공동R&D사업은 ETRI의 주관으로 당시 금성반도체, 삼성전자, 현대전자산업 등의 반도체 업체와 학계가 참여하였고, 1986년 10월부터 1989년 3월까지 3단계에 걸쳐 수행되었다. 공동연구의 목적은 설계, 공정, 조립, 검사 등 4M D램 제조와 관련되는 기본기술개발과 함께 $0.8{\mu}m$ 선폭의 4M D램을 개발하는 것이며, 이를 위해 단계별 목표를 설정하고 관민연의 혼연일치로 추진되었다. 1차년에는 중요 핵심기술개발, 2차년에는 $0.8{\mu}m$ 4M D램 Working-die개발, 3차년에는 수율 20%의 $0.8{\mu}m$ 4M D램 양산시 제품을 목표대로 완료하였다. 각 연구단계별로 주요 핵심기술에 대한 연구평가가 실시되었으며, 관련기술에 대한 중복투자 방지를 위해 2차년도부터 분담연구가 수행되었고, 상호 기술공유를 위한 기술교류회가 활발히 이루어졌다. 또한 R&D수행을 통해 4M D램 Working-die를 2차년도 중반에 개발완료하였으며, 3차년도에는 4M D램의 20% 수율확보와 공정기술의 최적화 및 DB 구축을 수행했다. 공동R&D 방식에서도 기업간 경쟁체제 도입에 입각하여 동기유발 형태로 진행되었다. 정부는 자금적 지원으로 기업간의 경쟁 심리를 자극하는 전략을 추진했다. 선두기업인 삼성에게는 선행적 개발 지위에 비례하여 더 많은 지원을 부여하는 대신에, 삼성의 기술성과를 다른 기업에게로 확산시킴으로써 반도체 3사 전체의 기술능력을 향상시키는 전략을 추진했다. 본 사업이 성공적으로 수행되어 반도체 제품의 세계시장 점유율제고, 국제수지 개선, 반도체 핵심기술 조기확보뿐만 아니라 16M D램급 이상 차세대 반도체기술 개발의 교도보가 되었다.

The film House of Hummingbird intersects Korean modern history and personal history through the eyes of a teenage girl, and closely explores how patriarchy and Korean capitalism leave traces and internal impressions on the growing up of the female subject. This film is a meaningful text in terms of showing what changes can occur when the subject is transformed from a boy to a girl in the narrative of growth and when a feminist point of view is entered. House of Hummingbird reveals the weakness of the patriarchal symbolic order through the gaze of a teenage girl in the episodic narrative composition, and also discovers the possibility of close relationships and bonds between women in the gaps. In particular, Yeong-ji, the main character girl Eun-hee's Chinese language school lecturer, is a new female character that has never been seen in Korean teenage films. As a result, in House of Hummingbird, we meet a new female subject who negotiates the pain of growth in a 'good enough' condition.

This study examines the effecs of National Pension Service blockholders on accounting conservatism. The sample consists of 10,117 non-banking firm-years listed in Korea Stock Exchange(KOSPI) during the period 2011 to 2018. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that companies in which the National Pension Service as a major shareholder hold more than 5% of the shares are less prone to conservative accounting treatment than those that do not. Second, such a negative relationship between investment by the National Pension Service and conservative accounting was consistently found even when the investment period of the National Pension Service was divided into short-term (less than 1 year) and long-term (more than 3 years). It is expected that the National Pension Service, the largest institutional investor in Korea, will be able to carry out meaningful management control activities on investment companies. As the monitoring function of the National Pension Service works effectively in the capital market, agency costs are reduced, and investors' demands for corporate conservative accounting have decreased.

The purpose of this case study is to get an implication on elementary pre-service teacher education programs by exploring how a pre-service teacher's noticing changes within a learning community. The pre-service teacher participated in a learning community with researchers. Data includes recordings and transcription of actual class and pre- and post discussion in the learning community, the pre-service teacher's reflection essays, field notes, and students' worksheets. Results are as follows. First, the pre-service teacher's attending moved from the result of tasks to students' mathematical thinking. Second, the pre-service teacher's interpretation changed from a lack of diversity and specificity of evidence to diversity and specificity. Third, the pre-service teacher's decision-makings changed from unproductive deciding to productive deciding.

This study examined the affective representation and response consistency among individuals using affective videos, a naturalistic stimulus inducing emotional experiences most similar to those in daily life. In this study, multidimensional scaling was conducted to investigate whether the various affective representations induced through video stimuli are located in the core affect dimensions. A cross-participant classification analysis was also performed to verify whether the video stimuli are well classified. Additionally, the newly developed intersubject correlation analysis was conducted to assess the consistency of affective representations across participant responses. Multidimensional scaling revealed that the video stimuli are represented well in the valence dimension, partially supporting Russell (1980)'s core affect theory. The classification results showed that affective conditions were successfully classified across participant responses. Moreover, the intersubject correlation analysis showed that the consistency of affective representations to video stimuli differed with respect to the condition. This study suggests that the affective representations and consistency of individual responses to affective videos varied across different affective conditions.

The purpose of this study is to review the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and performance, and the moderating effect of CEO's transformational leadership in entrepreneurs'cooperative. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data were gathered and analysed from 215 employees of entrepreneurs'cooperative in Metropolitan and kangwon-do vicinity. Multiple regression and multiple hierarchical regression analysis were applied to test the proposed hypotheses: 1) the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship(innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness) and performance(sales volume, profit, employment), 2) the moderating effect of CEO's transformational leadership(charisma, individual consideration, intellectual stimulation) on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and performance. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, risk-taking appeared to be positively related with sales volume, profit, and employment. Proactiveness appeared to be positively related with sales volume and profit. But innovativeness appeared not to be significantly related with sales volume, profit, and employment. Second, CEO's transformational leadership appeared to be related with financial performance(sales volume and profit), but not to be related with employment. Charisma and individual consideration moderated positively the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and financial performance(sales volume and profit). Intellectual stimulation moderated positively only the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and profit.
