The variable message sign(VMS) is a facility to smoothen traffic flows and enable safe passing by providing real-time necessary information on roads, weather, transportation, and traffic regulations. The VMS also solves a feeling of uneasiness and gives a sense of psychological security by providing information to drivers. However, the VMS has a strong character of being a non-market product but a public product, so it has not normally been evaluated for its value. This research has evaluated a value of satisfaction level for traffic information users, using a contingent valuation method(CVM). As a result of evaluating the value of satisfaction level for users through division into an urban roadway and an urban highway for the cities where an intelligent transportation system(ITS) has been established, the urban highway had a value of 96.7 won/system and the urban roadway had a value of 76.3 won/system.

Audience observing visual media with care experience lots of emotional transition according to characteristics of media. Enjoy, sadness, surprising, etc, a variety of emotional state of audiences is often arranged by James Russell's 'A circumplex model of affect' utilized on psychology. Especially, in various emotions, 'Uncanny' mentioned by Sigmund Freud is represented a sharp medium existing in a crack of clearly emotional conception. Uncanny phenomenon is an emotional state of changing from unpleasant to pleasant on an audience observing visual media is been aware of immoral media generally, therefore, because this is a positive state on a social taboo, we need to analyze with a scientific analysis clearly. Therefore, this study will organize James Russell's 'A circumplex model of affect' and uncanny phenomenon, will be progressed to establish a hypothesis about a state of uncanny on audiences observing visual media and analyze results of the physiological signals experiment based on ECG(Electronic Cardiogram), GSR(Galvanic Skin Response) signals with distribution, distance, and moving time in a circumplex model of affect.

This paper deals with the elderly serious game design which makes full use of the existing arcade game machine. This serious game is on the issue for its positive role recently. Serious arcade game for the elderly which is made up arcade platform-based combined contents manufacture technology has an element which is having a fun for building up physical and mental health. It also has a special objective which can prevent against senile dementia. Above-mentioned serious arcade game which has a special objective in both hardware part and software part is needed to study how to design. Accordingly, this paper presents how to make up special-purpose entertainment machine and contents development by biologic, social, and psychological researches and data about the elderly - main users. We hope that this paper can be used as a base for expansion of new industrial field by integrating new product development for the elderly with high game technology.With the help of information technology

All the text of housing in 1910s was conveyed in three; hygiene general readings, home economics texts saying women's responsibility of cleaning house, and Japanese's observation and criticizing Korean housing. It stressed sanitary conditions of housing and criticised Korean housing dirty, of which contents and logic were same with the housing discourse in 1900s but much simpler and smaller in amount. It was mainly written by those in medical treatment field like doctors for enlightenment of private hygiene practice to Koreans. Because Choson Government-General(朝鮮總督府) excluded Korean residental areas from urban sanitation project, they remained dirty in 1910s. The practice of housing sanitation remained just as a matter of private sanitary practice. These political and discoursive conditions insinuated a sense that Korean dirty housing was representation of Korean's uncivilized customs and manners and a reason for being colonized. This sense made many Koreans to insist their housings' reforming to sanitary states just for civilization during colonized period.

This study was conducted to find how the female college students perceive the body image and the way to help them through the education program. The data was collected through in-depth interviews of 10 female college students from October, 2012 to September, 2013. The interview was done with 3 focus group consisted of 3~4 participants per group. The data were analyzed by the Giorgi method. The meaning structure were organized in 12 themes and 5 focal meanings were identified health personality, health physical condition, making artificial body, social judgement, respect for individuality to ideal body. It is needed to develop the professional programs that help the female college students to positively manage their own body image and reduce the health problem induced body image. Therefore, it is recommended that the program for the female college students is consisted of management of physical health and psychological stress, harmonious interpersonal relationship and encouragement of self-esteem.

This study aims to contribute to our knowledge on gender role identity of middle-aged women within the Korean context. This research adapting Q methodology created a sampling distribution of P with 40 middle-aged women between 40-60 years old. We put each of 40 Q samples to become a forced distribution into 9 scales. And then we conducted a secondary analysis of the results from the principal component factor analysis by the PC QUANL program. Gender role identities of middle aged women were classified as four types: "affectionate-sensitive type", "affectionate-confident type", "assertive-confident type", and "sensitive-dominant type". Most of the middle-aged women in Korea tend to keep their original gender role identities. Some of women, however, experience the gender role identity change over time that their traits of traditional caring become more prominent than their affectionate character.

Growing of number of elderly populations, which may be caused by improved quality of life and decreased the percentage of mortality. Although there is a declining rate of the edentulous patients, more patients are advancing into older age groups, and the substantial number of edentulous patients are increasing. For these edentulous patients, complete denture cannot substitute natural teeth, but it is a staple prosthetic treatment. Generally, the success of dentures has been evaluated on the basis of whether or not patients comfortable and were able to masticate with their dentures. Acceptance of complete denture is complex for patients and related to psychological factors of patients, physical state, and the technical quality of dentures. In addition to that, many factors influence to satisfaction of patients to the complete dentures. In this review article, evaluate various factors related on satisfaction of denture wearers and methods of evaluate satisfaction.

Childhood depression was not officially accepted as a separate diagnosis until 20-25years ago. Although DSM-III R criteria gave us a starting point and are gaining acceptances as a useful tool for diagnosing childhood depression recently, many professionals feel that additional modifications are needed to better reflect the developmental aspects of children. And because children are relatively poor in expressing their moods or feelings due to weak reality sence and/or cognitive and linguistic limitations, the author too carefully suggest that developmental perspectives of children should be considered in diagnosing childhood depression. Little is known about the extent to which childhood depression precedes adult depression and persists into adult life and about the impact of it on the personality formation. Some evidences that childhood depressive symtoms can be quite enduring make it important to make an early diagnosis and treatment.

Intuition in the mathematical problem solving has been stressed the importance with the logic because intuition is the cognition that give significant clue or idea to problem solving. Fischbein classified intuition by the origin; primary intuition and secondary intuition And he said the role of the personal experience and school education. Through these precedent research, we can understand the social influence. This study attempt to investigate social intuition model of Haidt, moral psychologist that has surfaced social property of intuition in terms of the mathematical problem solving. The major suggestions in problem solving and the education of intuition are followed. First, I can find the social property of intuition in the mathematical problem solving. Second, It is possible to make the mathematical problem solving model by transforming the social intuitionist model. Third, the role of teacher is important to give the meaningful experience for intuition to their students. Fourth, for reducing the errors caused by the coerciveness and globality of intuition, we need the education of checking their own intuition. In other words, we need intuition education emphasized on metacognition.

The purpose of this study is to provide and suggest useful data in use of kinds of violet that is resulted from general color images of violet. The origin, history, and general images of kinds of violet were studied, and were classified vased on documcntary reviews. Findings are as follows: 1) The kinds of violet were used purple, violet, mauva, and magenta in the order of appearance of its color names and the categories of violet had been extended from dark reddish violet to affilicated colors of bright violet by development in synthetie dyestuff. 2) The kinds of violet has neutral characters due to the combination of two extreme colors, red and blue, and thereby revealing voth attreibutes in terms of symbolic, emotional, and spychological features of colors. The positive images in kinds of violet can be classified as nobleness, holiness, mysteriousness, sleep/sedation, sensuality, femininity, fragrance, and the negatibely classified images are weakness, sadness, maelancholiness, death(for example, the mourner's gard in royal families), symbols of moral corruption, and superstition.
