  • In this paper, fuzzy logic controllers(FLC) are designed for control of flight. For tuning FLC, we used adaptive evolutionary algorithms(AEA) which uses a genetic algorithm(GA) and an evolution strategy (ES) in an adaptive manner in order to take merits of two different evolutionary computations. We used AEA to search for optimal settings of the membership functions shape and gains of the inputs and outputs of FLC. Finally, the proposed controller is applied to the high-angle-of-attack flight system for a supermaneuverable version of the f-18 aircraft and compares with other methods.

  • Evolutionary algorithms such as genetic algorithm (GA) have been proven their effectiveness when applying to the design of fuzzy models. However, it tends to suffer from computationally expensWive due to the slow convergence speed. In this study, we propose an approach to develop fuzzy models by means of an improved differential evolution (IDE) to overcome this limitation. The improved differential evolution (IDE) is realized by means of an orthogonal approach and differential evolution. With the invoking orthogonal method, the IDE can search the solution space more efficiently. In the design of fuzzy models, we concern two mechanisms, namely structure identification and parameter estimation. The structure identification is supported by the IDE and C-Means while the parameter estimation is realized via IDE and a standard least square error method. Experimental studies demonstrate that the proposed model leads to improved performance. The proposed model is also contrasted with the quality of some fuzzy models already reported in the literature.

  • In the initial deployment stage of optical access networks, optical network systems and optical fiber cables have been provided mainly for commercial buildings or users in KT. According to the demand of residential users who expect to subscribe broadband multimedia services as high bit rate services, the optical access networks get closer to the residential users as FTTCab or FTTH So, it is very important to install optical access networks economically and effectively because that the total cost and usability of optical fiber cables depends on that. Especially, one of characteristics in access networks is the possibility of variation on services demands and technology evolution. Also access networks must be prepared for the final deployment, FTTH. Therefore, the designing and planning of optical access networks are coming to be very important activity for most of telecommunications service providers.

  • In this paper, we deal with the development of an optimal design program for a dual-band of 0.92 GHz and 2.45 GHz with shorting pin and slot by using evolution strategy. the optimal shorting pin, coaxial feed and H-shaped patch are determined by using an optimal design program based on the evolution strategy. To achieve this, an interface program between a commercial EM analysis tool and the optimal design program is constructed for implementing the evolution strategy technique that seeks a global optimum of the objective function through the iterative design process consisting of variation and reproduction. The resonance frequencies of the dual-band antenna yielded by the optimal design program are 0.92 GHz and 2.45 GHz that show a good agreement to the design target values.

  • Recently, The cloud computing technology is emerging as an important issue in the world, and In technology and services, has attracted much attention. However, the positive aspects of cloud computing unlike the includes several vulnerabilities. For this reason, the Hacking techniques according to the evolution of a variety of attacks and damages is expected. Therefore, this paper will be analyzed management models through case studies and experiments to the threats and vulnerabilities of the cloud computing. and In the future, this is expected to be utilized as a basis for the security design and performance improvement.

  • In this paper, we optimize the base station placement and transmission power using genetic approach. A new representation describing base station placement and transmit power with real number is proposed, and new genetic operators are introduced. This new representation can describe the locations, powers, and number of base stations, Considering coverage, power and economy efficiency, we also suggest a weighted objective function. Our algorithm is applied to an obvious optimization problem, and then it is verified. Moreover, our approach is tried in inhomogeneous traffic distribution. Simulation result proves that the algorithm enables to fad near optimal solution according to the weighted objective function.

  • This paper presents a design of fuzzy power system stabilizer (FPSS) using adaptive evolutionary computation (AEC). We have proposed an adaptive evolutionary algorithm which uses a genetic algorithm (GA) and an evolution strategy (ES) in an adaptive manner in order to take merits of two different evolutionary computations. FPSS shows better control performances than conventional power system stabilizer (CPSS) in three-phase fault with heavy load which is used when tuning FPSS. To show the robustness of the proposed FPSS, it is appliedto damp the low frequency oscillations caused by disturbances such as three-phase fault with normal and light load, the angle deviation of generator with normal and light load and the angle deviation of generator with heavy load. Proposed FPSS shows better robustness than CPSS.

  • In a levitation magnet system with large air gap, numerical method is needed because analytic method cannot consider the leakage flux properly. This paper conducted an optimal design of a levitation magnet system with large air gap which was used for an OLED system, where evolution strategy was adopted for optimal design algorithm. Levitation forces near the initial design were calculated first by using finite element method to reduce the computation time. During the optimization process, levitation forces of arbitrary dimension were obtained using the interpolation of the levitation forces which were calculated previously Weight of the maget system was chosen as the object function and it was used minimized.

  • This paper presents an optimal design method for fuzzy logic controller (FLC) of HVDC using an Adaptive Evolutionary Algorithm(AEA). We have proposed the AEA which uses a genetic algorithm (GA) and an evolution strategy (ES) in an adaptive manner in order to take merits of two different evolutionary algorithms. The AEA is used for tuning fuzzy membership functions and scaling constants. Simulation results show that disturbances are well damped and the dynamic performances of FLC have better responses than those of PD controller when AC system load changes suddenly.
