균일 열플럭스가 있는 $180^{\circ}C$ 원형단면 곡관의 선회유동 열전달특성 연구 (A study on the heat transfer characteristics of swirling flow in a circular sectioned $180^{\circ}C$bend with uniform heat flux)

  • An experiment was performed to local heat transfer coefficient and Nusselt number in the circular duct of 180.deg. bend for Re=6*10$^{4}$, 8*10$^{4}$ and 1*10$^{5}$ at swirling flow and non-swirling flow conditions. The test tube with circular section was made by stainless which has curvature ratio 9.4. The wall of test tube was heated directly by electrical power to 3.51 kw and swirling motion of air was produced by a tangential inlet to the pipe axis at the 180 degree. Measurements of local wall temperatures and bulk mean temperature of air are made at four circumferential positions in the 16 stations. The wall temperatures show particularly reduced distribution curve at bend for non-swirling flow but this effect does not appear for swirling flow. Nusselt number distributions for swirling flow which was calculated from the measured wall and bulk temperatures were higher than that of non-swirling flow. Average Nusselt number of swirling flow increased about 90 ~ 100% than that of non-swirling flow whole through the test tube. The Nu/N $u_{DB}$ values at the station of 90.deg. for non-swirling flow and swirling flow are respectively about 2.5 and 4.8 at Re=6*10$^{4}$. Also that is good agreement with Said's result for non-swirling flow. flow.

  • 선박운항시스템은 첨단화 되고 있으며, 선박충돌회피시스템에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그럼에도 선박 충돌사고 빈도수는 줄어들지 않는 설정이다. 시스템에 의한 충돌회피 조종에도 불구하고 근접거리로 충돌위험이 계속 존재한다면, 충돌위험 결정 및 판단기준에 있어서 단순히 TCPA, DCPA만의 입력변수 사용은 근접상황에서 충돌위험회피에 도움을 주지 못한다. 최근 5년간 국내 선박충돌사고 상대선 초인거리 조사에 의하면 약 $45\%$가 2마일 이하 근거리 초인하는 것으로 분석된다. 이런 요소는 선박조종성능 특성과 행위결정을 위한 시간적 특성의 영향을 많이 받는 근접조우를 유발한다. 따라서 근접상황에서 선박충돌회피동작 결정에 관한 연구는 안전항해의 필수적인 요소라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 선박조종성능 특성에 따른 선회조종과 선박의 거동을 분석하여 근접상황에서 신속하고 올바른 충돌회피 조선을 지원할 수 있는 선박충돌회피지원 모델을 제시한다.

Z시험에 의한 선회권의 작도법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Method of Turning Circle Drawing by Z-test)

  • A navigator on bridge needs to know every kinds of motion characteristics of his vessel at sea. Generally when a vessel is completely built, the shipyard makes turning circle diagrams from the results of turing circle tests made during the sea trials for the reference of the vessel's owner. But referring only the data of a turning circle diagram, an officer on bridge can not figure out his vessel's maneuvering characteristics sufficiently, So nowadays the shipyard often adds Z test to turning circle test for more detail references. In this paper the author made Z and turning circle tests at the rudder angles of 15 and and 35 degress separately and in each of the case made a turrning circle diagram from the results of the turning circle test and the esults numerically calculated from mathematical formula made on the base of the maneuvering indices got from the Z test and compared them each other for the purpose of finding the correlations between them. Followings are concluded from the results. An actual turning circle diagram and a calculated one from the results of the Z test at same rudder angle coincides each other well when the center of the calculated circle is transferred by 1.7B toward the direction of the initial turning perpendicularly to the original course and 0.5L toward the direction in parallel with original course in case of the rudder angle of 35 degrees and 1.2B and 0.3L toward each of the above mentioned directions in case of rudder angle of 15 degrees.

노르딕 4개국 가족정책의 보편성과 상이성: 아동보육과 돌봄 관련 휴가 정책을 중심으로 (The Differences and Similarity of Family Policies in Nordic Countries: Childcare and Parental leave)

  • 본 연구는 1980년부터 2002년까지 노르딕 4개국의 가족정책을 다차원척도분석과 군집분석을 이용해 분석했다. 몇 가지 주목할 만한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동질적인 특성을 가졌다고 인식되는 노르딕 가족정책이 실제는 서로 다른 특성으로 유형화할 수 있는 상이성을 가지고 있다는 점이다. 특히 주목할 점은 2000년대 들어서 노르딕 4개국 가족정책의 특성은 1990년대와 달리 국가 간 동질성이 더욱 약해진 것으로 보인다. 둘째, 지난 20여 년간 노르딕 4개국 모두는 상대적으로 부모권 지원보다는 노동권 지원을 중심으로 가족정책을 확대하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 구체적으로 보면 노르딕 국가들의 정책방향은 지난 20여 년간 다양한 변화를 거친다. 스웨덴과 노르웨이의 경우 노동권 지원 확대가 가족정책의 중심이었다. 반면 핀란드는 90년대 중반까지는 부모권 중심의 가족정책에서 95년 이후 노동권 중심으로 정책방향을 선회한다. 덴마크는 다른 3개국에 비해 부모권과 노동권 지원의 정책균형이 상대적으로 잘 이루어진 것으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between static pressure recovery and velocity distributions in case of swirling flow into a conical diffuser. In this research, velocity distribution is measured by a multi-hole yaw-meter. The following conclusions can be drawn from the experiments. (1) The static pressure recovery depends strongly on the strength of a swirl. (2) A high pressure recovery coefficient is achieved by inserting a solid core into the diffuser center.

  • In this paper, the relationship between static pressure recovery and turbulent energy was presented in case of swirling flows into a conical diffuser. The distributions of turbulent energy in a diffuser sectional area were measured by a hot wire anemometer. The following conclusion can be drawn from the experiment. Diffuser loss is constituted by a dynamic pressure loss and total pressure loss. The static pressure recovery depends strongly on the total pressure loss. The static pressure recovery depends strongly on the total pressure loss, and the turbulent energy varies inversely as the static pressure recovery coefficient.

선회 확산 화염에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Diffusion Flame with Swirl)

  • In many combustion systems, swirling combustion air is extensively applied as an aid for stabilization of high intensity combustion pocesses. Swirl, generally, causes significant effects on the flow field which, in turn, determines the size, shape, and stability of flames, and combustion intensity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of swirls on flames produced from a model combustor designed in this paper. In order to impart swirls to the combustion air, a movable block swirl generator was used. Temperature distribution and radiative heat flux along the centerline of the swirling flame were measured. Data obtained from these swirl flows can be used as design data for high intensity or high efficiency combustion systems. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Flame temperature profiles were measured at various swirl number. 2. The axial distance for maximum temperature from the centerline of burner increased as the swirl number increased. 3. Radiative heat flux increased as the swirl number and axial distance from burner increased.

선속이 선회권에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of the Speed of a Ship on Her Turning Circle)

  • The turning circle of a ship is the path followed by her center of gravity in making a turn of 360$^{\circ}$degrees or more with helm at constant angle. But generally it means her path traced at full angle of the rudder. For the ordinary ship the bow will be inside and the stern outside this circle.It has been usually understood that the turning circle is not essentinally affected by ship's speed at Froude numbers less than about 0.30. However, it is recently reported that the speed provide considerable effects upon the turning circle in piloting many ships actually at sea. In this paper, the author analyzed what effects the speed could provide on the turning circle theoretically from the viewpoint of ship motions and examined how the alteration of the speed at Froude no. under 0.30 affect the turning circle actually, through experiments of actual ships of a small and large size.The main results were as follows.1. Even though ship's speed at Froude no. under 0.30, the alteration of the speed affects the turning circle considerably.2. When the full ahead speeds at Froude no. under 0.30 of small and large ships were increased about 3 times slow ahead speeds, the mean rates of increase of the advances, tactical diameters and final diameters of thease ships were about 16%, 21% and 19% respectively.3. When the full ahead speeds at Froued no. under 0.30 of small and large ships were increased about 3 times slow ahead speed, the mean rate of increase of the turning circle elements of large ships was greater 10% than that of small ships. 4. When the full ahead speeds at Froued no. under 0.30 of small and large ships were increased about 3times slow ahead speeds, the mean rates of increase of the tactical diameter and final diameter of thease ships were greater than that of the advances of thease ships. 5. When only alteration of speed or sip's head turning is the effective action to avoid navigational fixed hagards, reducing the speed is always more advantageous than increasing the speed in order to shorten fore or transverse distance.
