A Study on the Children's Eating Habits and Food Preference according to Their Parents' Economic Status (II) - Seoul & Gyeonggi (Incheon) Area - (부모의 경제수준에 따른 자녀의 식품기호도에 관한 연구 (II) -주식과 부식에 대하여, 서울.경기 (인천)지역을 중심으로-)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the main and side dish preference of food with 681 children (145 of kindergarten, 300 of children, 236 of adolescences) in Seoul and Gyeonggi area using questionnaires. Regarding preference of the staple foods, it was shown that all group had the highest preferences for boiled rice, The kindergarten period prefer Jajangmyen the most, children and adolescences like spaghetti (p<0.05). For breads, the kindergarten preferred cakes the most, the middle years and the adolescences preferred pizza. Regarding preference of soups, it represents the kindergarten liked seaweed soup, the children and adolescences liked sollongt'ang (p<0.05). For pot stew, the kindergarten preferred bean-paste pot stew the most, the children with parents' income level less than 4 million won preferred Kim-chi stew, the middle years with parents' income level equal or greater than 4 million won preferred beanpaste pot stew and all adolescences preferred Kim-chi pot stew (p<0.05). Stewed beef with soy sauce was preferred the most by all ages. For pan-fried foods, the kindergarten with parents' income level less than 4 million won preferred pan-fried spicy port the most, the kindergarten with parents' income level equal or greater than 4 million won preferred pan-fried anchovy the middle years preferred pan-fried spicy pork, the adolescences with parents' income level less than 4 million won preferred pan fried Kim-chi the most (p<0.05). And for vegetable dish, all age groups preferred seasoned bean sprouts and Chinese cabbage Kim-chi the most which they can easily see on their tables.

  • Navigational equipment standardization mode is a function which is used to standardize key functions, screen display and operation method of major navigation equipment. This is aimed towards to quickly and accurately checking information relevant for safe navigation. Currently, the International Maritime Organization is working on the development of guidelines for the application of navigational equipment in the standardized mode to the task of NCSR Sub-Committee. This study was conducted to investigate users' opinions and preferences in the application of standardization modes and to reflect them in the development of guidelines. In addition, the test program was designed to investigate user preferences for ECDIS among the navigational equipment, such as the types of information and functions that are necessary or preferentially required to perform navigational duties, and the screen configuration. In the study, 333 preference surveys were conducted in 35 countries using a web - based test program. ECDIS users confirmed the content and screen layout of their preferred ECDIS information when conducting navigation duty. The results of the study are significant as they contribute to the development of effective guidelines by presenting user requirements to be considered in the standardization mode.

  • 유역, 수계, 지역, 국가 등과 같은 거대 시스템은 사회 및 경제 시스템, 자연 시스템, 생태 시스템 등으로 구성이 되어 있으며, 이들은 상호작용과 피드백을 하면서 복잡하게 연결되어 있다. 이러한 시스템은 기후, 구성 부시스템, 사회적 선호도, 패러다임 등의 변화에 따라 변한다. 특히, 사회적 선호도나 패러다임과 같은 가치 시스템의 변화는 수자원 이용과 관리에 영향을 미치기 때문에 다양한 방법으로 수요자의 요구를 파악해야 하며, 이를 수자원 계획과 운영에 반영해야 한다. 따라서 수요자와 전문가들의 의견을 주기적으로 조사하여 수자원 상태를 평가하고 문제점을 파악하여 향후 발전 방향을 수립할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 실시된 수자원 개발과 관리와 관련된 설문조사 결과를 수집하여 이들을 비교 분석하였다. 이 분석에서는 지속가능성을 맥락으로 하여 설문대상과 설문시기의 변화에 따른 수자원 개발과 관리와 관련된 의견들의 차이를 분석하였으며, 설문조사 결과들을 종합하여 향후 국내 수자원 관리와 개발 방향을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the preference of Vertical Lip-Chin Ratio (=Sn-Stm/Stm-Me', hereafter VLCR) in Koreans. The assessors consisted of 44 dentists (male 22, female 22) and 430 lay persons (male 303, female 127). The survey was performed using a questionnaire asking the order of preference. The profiles presented in the questionnaire were based on the profiles of two males and two females, each morphed according to the VLCRs of 1/1.8, 1/1.9, 1/2.0. 1/2.1, 1/2.2. The results were as follows: The difference between males and females. and the difference betwwen dentists and lay persons in the preference of VLCR were not statistically apparent. The most Preferred VLCR was 1/1.9, and the least preferred VLCR was 1/2.2, These results Indicate that the preferred VLCR is smaller than the previously reported VLCR ratios based on the cephalometric evaluation of samples with favorable facial esthetics.

닭고기 부분육 등급제 설정을 위한 도계장 관리자 의식 조사

  • 본 실험은 닭고기 부분육의 품질 등급을 설정하기 위한 기초 자료로 이용하기 위하여 시중도계 장을 대, 중, 소로 구분하여 생산 관리 책임자들을 대상으로 설문지에 의한 방문 조사를 실시하였다. 도계 과정에서 닭고기 부분육 등급 판정을 수행하기 적당한 곳은 대규모도계장의 경우 마지막 포장단계를 선호하였다. 닭고기 부분육 등급은 몇 단계를 선호하는지에 대한 응답은 대규모도계장 및 단순가공장은 2단계를 선호하였고 중규모 도계장은 $2{\sim}3$단계를 선호하였다. 등급판정 요인으로는 신선도, 멍, 외상, 트리밍(손질) 이물질 순으로 중요도를 표현하였다. 부분육 등급 판정 도입 시기는 도계장 규모와 관계없이 지금당장은 아니드래도 도입되는 것이 좋다는 의견이 다수를 차지하여 닭고기 부분육에 대한 품질등급제를 선호하였다.

  • 현대 사회에서 대부분의 사람들이 SNS 어플리케이션을 선호하고 자주 이용하고 있다. 그 동안 삐삐, 휴대폰, 문자, 싸이월드&메신저 등 커뮤니케이션의 도구가 진화해왔으나 점차적으로 단순화를 추구하는 경향이 증가하고 있다. 또한, 인터넷을 이용한 인간관계가 대중화되면서 삶을 살아가는데 있어 SNS(Social Networking Service)는 매우 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현대 사회에서 SNS에 열광하는 이유와 SNS의 사용목적, 선호도 등을 설문 방식의 적용으로 조사, 분석하는 연구를 수행하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to design and develop a alternative material recommendation system using automatic classification, based on user preference. Details of usage data by users from DREAM was analysed in order to develop the way of a method on selecting proper alternative material, and then the data by user preference were allocated under each category of 10 KDC categories. The keyword, selected from the title of users' usage data from a certain period of time, were divided into 10 subject categories and ranked by the order of frequency of appearance. Books including high frequency of the keyword in title can be selected as a preferred target for producing alternative materials. Lastly, a dynamic linkage for sharing usage data among National Library for the Disabled and other libraries is proposed to produce more proper alternative materials, based on user preference.

  • Purpose: This study analyzed the names of optical shops currently used in Korea and is to investigate the optical shop names that customers prefer. Methods: We used the 351 names of optical shop all over the country as a sample, and surveyed 296 people aged between 20s~30s in Seoul and Gyeonggi provinces to collect the data. Results: The most used names are currently English names (54.4%) and names of with 2 syllables (30.5%) and 3 syllables (32.5%). For more than 4 syllables, the names included Eye (26.0%) and Glasses (24.3%) are being used a lot. For the name awareness, Korean names (63.0%) was the highest and followed by 1syllable (34.5%) and 5 syllables (20.9%). Conclusions: For the improvement of optical shop awareness, Korean name with 1 to 3 syllables and words related glasses are recommended.

A Survey on the Consumer Preferences for Improving Retort Food Packaging of Samgyetang on Domestic Market in Korea (국내 레토르트 삼계탕 제품의 포장 개선을 위한 소비자 기호도 조사)

  • We studied the consumer preference for the packaging of "Samgyetang" retort product in order to improve its function and design. A total of 319 eligible respondents (male 175, female 144) were surveyed with a questionnaire asking on the general characteristics for the preference of the packaging function, type of retort package, packaging design, convenience, cooking method of retort product and characteristics of "Samgyetang" retort product. The collected data was analyzed using a chi-square (X2) statistical test in SPSS program. The results showed that the retort packages with opacity and microwaveable types were preferred. Also, most respondents expressed that it needs to be improved for cooking convenience. Another question results showed that the consumers are considering the taste and cost of a product more important than the brand of its product when purchasing. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the study suggested that many consumers want the convenience of packaging and product protection for high value added product. The results help to provide consumer's demand for packaging development and to provide the greatest advantages in terms of production and marketability of "Samgyetang" retort product.

An Analysis of High School Students' Preference for Science and Its Causal Factors in terms of Gender Difference (일반계 고등학생의 성별 과학 선호도와 인과 요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate high school students' preference for science(PS) and its causal factors in terms of gender difference, and to suggest the way to improve students' preference for science. A questionnaire to evaluate the PS of high school students and its causal factors was specially designed by researchers. It was administered to 429 boys and 449 girls in eight high schools. The average score of the PS was 3.16 of 5.00 which was not high, but the PS scores of students who had wanted to be engaged in jobs related to science or medical field, were higher than the students who would be in other fields. There was no statistically significant difference between the boys' PS scores and girls', but the average scores of causal factors were higher in boys than in girls. Path analysis using a structural equation model was indicated that the pathways showing how causal factors made effects on each category of the boys' PS were simpler than those of girls. Particularly, while educational factors made indirect effects on three categories of the boys' PS, they did direct effects as well as indirect effect on the girls' PS. This means that the girls' PS is possible to be improved by applying the educational programs specially developed for girls.
