  • Recently, as the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) prolongs along with the development of artificial intelligence technology, a non-contact society has become commonplace. Many companies are promoting digital transformation and the activation of artificial intelligence introduction to respond to this which leads to dramatic increase of demand for Chatbot. In addition, a Chatbot has reached the point of processing business transactions from responding simple inquiries. However, it is necessary to develop an API to interface with the legacy system and there are many difficulties in connecting. To solve this, it is becoming important to establish a hybrid Chatbot environment through RPA interface. Recently, the combination of RPA and Chatbot is considered an effective tool for handling many business processes. But, there are many difficulties due to the lack of interface cases and the difficulty in finding a method to development them. This study suggests a method for building a hybrid Chatbot which is an interface Chatbot(Conversational UX) and RPA(Task Automation) from the perspective of hyper-automation based on actual development cases and review of literature review is presented, so that the interface method can be understood and develop more easily. Therefore, there are implications for actively using AI Chatbot for digital transformation.

Countermeasures to the Introduction of Low Caloric Gas Fuel for Natural Gas Engine (저열량 가스 적용에 따른 천연가스엔진의 대응 방안 연구)

  • In order to cope with the problems that may occur when the natural gas used in Korea becomes low in calories, the problems that may have to the domestic industrial gas equipment must be identified in advance, and based on this, countermeasures for efficient use of energy must be preceded. In this study, in order to solve the problem of deterioration of engine output performance and efficiency due to the introduction of low calorific gas when using a lean-burning natural gas engine that complies with the EURO-6 regulation, specific control plans and results based on the experiment are intended to be presented. In order to identify the improvement effect by the control variable represented by the ignition timing under the full load condition at the engine speed of 1,400 rpm and 550 Nm, 2,100 rpm, which is the engine speed at the rated operation condition, the thermal efficiency and exhaust gas characteristics were identified and optimized by changing the ignition timing for each gas fuel. In the case of pure methane, which shows the lowest value based on the torque under the full load condition, if the ignition timing is advanced by about 2 CAD from the reference ignition timing, the torque can be compensated without a large increase in NOx emission.

An Analysis of Educational Effectiveness of the Kazakhstan Intellectual School International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP) (카자흐스탄 영재학교(NIS)의 국제표준 고교교육과정(IBDP)에 대한 교육효과 분석 연구)

  • The modern world stands on the cusp of massive change in connection with the 4th industrial revolution. Following developed countries, developing countries also try to grow and keep up with the flow. Among them, trough the international cooperation government of Kazakhstan decided to include the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP) into the Nazarbayev Intellectual School(NIS) in April 2013. The goal of this study is to analyze the efficiency of introduction and implementation of the IBDP in the NIS and to consider the possibility of implementing this program in regular schools. To achieve the research goal, was applied the CIPP evaluation model(context - input - process - product) to assess IBDP program systematically. The analysis of empirical data collected due to the results of the international school system implementation, also in this study were used the results of questionnaires and interviews with the students and teachers who took part in the IBDP educational program. The results of the analysis showed that the average satisfaction of teachers and students who participated in IBDP was 3.64 points, however they pointed out the problems with management and organizations of the program, the establishment of a variety of subjects, recruitment of IBDP teachers etc. These measures would help to raise the status of school to the internationalization.

수학적 창의성 신장을 위한 교사의 발문 특성 연구

  • 학습자들이 미래 사회에 능동적으로 대처하기 위해서는 기존의 지식을 축적, 활용하는 것뿐만 아니라, 새로운 행동 양식을 개발하고 환경의 변화에 적절히 대응해 나갈 수 있는 능동적인 자세와 상응하는 창의적인 힘을 키우기 위해 '창의성 신장'이 강조되고 있다. 선행연구에 따르면 교사의 발문이 학생의 수학 학업성취도, 수학적 사고력향상, 수학에 대한 관심과 흥미에 긍정적인 영향을 주고 있음을 시사하고 있지만, 수학교육에서 창의성 신장을 위한 교사의 발문에 관련한 구체적인 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 2007 개정 교육과정에서 강조하는 수학적 의사소통능력과 창의성, 수학적 사고력 신장에 기여하고 학생들의 수학과 학업성취도 뿐만 아니라 정의적 영역(흥미, 태도, 호기심 등)의 향상을 도모할 수 있는 교사 발문의 특성 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 도형영역 수업에서 교사의 발문 특성을 분석하고, 수업에서 사용되는 자료와 수업에서 학생들의 수학적 창의성 신장을 효과적으로 도울 수 있는 교사 발문의 특성을 연구하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 우리나라 2007개정 교육과정 수학과 4학년 1학기 도형 영역 관련 단원인 삼각형을 주제로 교과서에서 제시한 발문 내용을 분석하고, 실제 교수-학습 과정에서의 교사 발문의 실태를 알아보고자 제주교육인터넷방송국에 탑재되어 있는 7차 교육과정 4학년 1학기, 2학기 도형 관련 3개의 수업을 관찰 및 분석하였다. 이를 통해 수학적 창의성 신장을 위한 교사 발문의 특성을 수학적 창의성의 하위요소별로 나누어 분석하였다. 학생의 창의성 신장을 위해서 교사는 학생들이 다양하게 사고할 수 있도록 자극할 수 있는 발문을 준비하고, 수업 진행시 하나의 발문에 대해 다수의 반응을 유도하고, 학생의 응답에 대해 단순한 '맞다, 틀리다'의 판단을 내리기 보다는 그 근거를 설명할 수 있는 기회를 마련해 주어 학생이 수학 수업에 흥미를 갖고 스스로 참여할 수 있도록 유도해야 함을 제안하였다.

Qualitative Approach in Research on Human Resource Management (인적자원관리 연구를 위한 질적 접근방법의 고찰)

  • Human resource management (HRM) deals with essentially complex human phenomena and multiple interactive relationships. Thus, the use of quantitative data to research and understand HRM is necessarily limited. Although important qualitative issues in HRM research are often central to supporting or creating a firm's competitive advantage, they are frequently neglected. Research into HRM is increasingly difficult and complicated, therefore, it is very difficult to research through strict quantitative methods. This paper's focus is to develop an effective idea for applying qualitative research approaches to HRM studies. A justification of a qualitative approach is considered as being a superior means for researching HRM issues. The underlying foundation of this paper is that new problems are confronted HRM research, therefore, qualitative research methods will be necessary. It is suggested that quantitative analysis in understanding and explaining firm's HRM is not sufficient and a qualitative may provide the indepth insight into HR researches.

Influence of Internal and External Factors on the Inventory Turnover Change Rate (기업 내부적 및 외부적 요인이 재고자산회전율 변화율에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to identify the internal and external factors of a company that can affect the rate of change in the inventory turnover ratio. In addition, by appropriately managing or responding to these factors, changes in the inventory turnover ratio do not occur abruptly, so that the company's business and financial performance can be improved. To confirm this, factors such as gross profit margin, cash flow volatility, advertising expenses, inflation, exchange rate rise, and leading economic index were selected, and these factors were predicted to affect the change rate of inventory turnover. Data of 85,878 companies were obtained from domestic securities listings, KOSDAQ listings, and externally audited companies, and multiple regression analysis was performed using the data. Gross profit margin and cash flow volatility have a significant positive (+) effect, advertising expenses have a negative (-) significant effect, and inflation and exchange rate rises have a negative (-) significant effect. As an influence, the leading economic index was tested to have a significant positive (+) effect. Through this, it is suggested that manufacturing companies can improve their business performance and achieve operational efficiency by well understanding and appropriately managing factors that can affect the change rate of inventory turnover.

Perseverance or Pivot? The Role of Problem-Solving Strategies on Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation and New Problem-Solving (개인의 기업가지향성과 문제해결전략이 새로운 문제 도전에 미치는 영향)

  • When we face an unexpected challenge, should we stick to the original plan and persevere through the series of challenges? Or shall we pivot and transform our original plan into something new by taking into account the newly acquired information? This perennial question of perseverance versus pivot as two competing problem-solving strategies has puzzled our every day lives. In this study, based on the large-scale, nation-wide survey on entrepreneurship, I found that individual entrepreneurial orientation, which consists of innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness, promotes an individual's tendency to choose new problems to solve. Perseverance strategy was found to positively moderates the relationship between innovativeness and the tendency to choose new problems to solve, whereas the relationship between risk-taking and the tendency to choose new problems to solve was found to be negatively moderated by perseverance strategy. Pivot strategy, on the other hand, was found to be positively moderates the relationship between proactiveness and the tendency to choose new problems to solve. These findings contributes to the stream of individual entrepreneurial orientation research by empirically testing two competing problem-solving strategies of perseverance and pivot to show their interaction effects with entrepreneurial orientation. Also the findings of this study expand the potential outcome of entrepreneurial orientation by adding an individual's tendency to choose new problems to solve rather than what he or she has already experienced before.

A Study on North Korea's Nuclear Posture Based on India and Pakistan Case Analysis (인도와 파키스탄 사례 분석에 따른 북한의 핵태세 연구)

  • Beyond the first nuclear age, which pitted the United States and the Soviet Union against each other, we are now in the second nuclear age, in which the decision-makers of nuclear weapons are diversified among countries large and small. India and Pakistan, two such countries, are antagonistic toward each other and possess nuclear weapons, but their nuclear posture and nuclear strategies are different. The examples of these two countries can provide clues to the future nuclear posture of North Korea, which faces South Korea. In particular, Pakistan's chosen posture of pre-emptive deterrence is a highly offensive nuclear posture that threatens to use nuclear weapons against an adversary to deter aggression. This is an option that can be accomplished even with a small nuclear arsenal that can be used as a first strike, so it seems to be the optimal posture for a nuclear-powered Pakistan to choose in response to an Indian threat. North Korea, which is outgunned by the United States and South Korea, is likely to continue to threaten to use nuclear weapons preemptively like Pakistan. However, it is expected to be defensive and quite conservative, like India, until it actually uses them to maintain its regime.

Development of Very Short-term Rainfall-Runoff Forecast system Using Radar and Rainfall Numerical Weather Prediction Data (레이더 및 강우수치예보자료를 이용한 초단기강우-유출예측시스템 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 보다 신뢰성 있고 정확한 정량적 강우예측자료를 생성하기 위하여 레이더강우 및 강우수치예보자료를 합성하는 기법을 제시하였고, 레이더 전처리 및 예측시스템, GIS와 연계한 물리적기반의 분포형모형인 Vflo모형 등 최신 수자원 IT기술을 활용하여 홍수기 돌발홍수에 대응한 초단기 정량적 강우-유출예측을 목적으로 향후 실시간으로 적용 가능한 분포형유출예측시스템의 기반을 구축하고자 하였다. 대상유역은 국지적인 고해상도 지형효과를 고려한 QPM이 개발되어 있는 금강권역의 용담댐유역이며, 예측 강우에 대한 호우사상은 2005년 이후 발생한 3개 강우사상을 대상으로 하였다. 한편, 기상 레이더 자료로부터 산정된 강수량의 수문학적 적용을 위하여 DEM, 토지피복도, 토양도 등의 기본 GIS자료들을 수집 및 구축하였고 물리적기반의 분포형모형(Vflo)의 입력인자로 사용하기 위한 12개의 공간분포형 수문매개변수들을 대표적인 GIS 소프트웨어인 ArcGIS 및 ArcView를 활용하여 추출하였으며, Vflo모형의 현업 적용가능성을 오프라인 상에서 검증해보았다. 모형 검증결과, GIS를 이용한 지형, 토양, 토지피복과 같은 물리적 특성을 사용한 모형의 초기 설정을 향상시킴에 의해 첨두유량, 유출량, 첨두도달시간차 등에서 만족할만한 결과를 보여주었다고 사료된다. 레이더 및 수치예보자료와 합성한 4가지의 형태(QPE, JQPE, QPM, BQPF)의 분포형 입력강우를 이용하여 적용해 본 결과 Nowcasting기법을 이용한 JQPF는 자료의 특성상 초기 1시간30분동안은 비교적 양호한 결과를 얻었으나 3시간 전후로 가면서 예측강우의 질이 저하되기 시작하였으나 QPM을 합성함으로써 생산한 BQPF는 보다 신뢰성있고 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들은 향후 정량적 분포형강우 예측을 이용한 실시간 홍수유출 예측시 댐운영자는 리드타임(홍수선행시간)을 충분히 확보함으로서 안정적이고 예측 가능한 홍수조절을 하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이와 같이 다양한 단기저수지 유입량의 예측정보 제공으로 다목적댐 저수지 운영모형의 효용성을 제고하여 향후 실제 저수지 유입량 예측에 이용함으로써 저수지 단기운영효율 개선에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Design and Implementation of Mobile Application for Field-specific Early Warning of Agrometeorological Hazards (농장별 기상위험 조기경보를 위한 모바일 어플리케이션 설계 및 구현)

  • Agricultural hazards management technology, which would allow individual farms to respond preemptively, has been developed. A preliminary system developed in the previous study provides precise weather forecasts by farms, notification of weather hazards by crops and delivery of response guidelines (http://www.agmet.kr). Although the GIS map-based alarm system has been implemented for a number of farmers and their farms, its user interface was not designed for individual users who seek information at their farms. In this study, we have developed a mobile application to provide early warnings of weather hazards up to 10 days in advance. A set of information including field-specific weather, crop growth stages and weather hazard alerts can be delivered to individual farmers through their mobile phone. This would guide users to access the map-based system using their smartphone to obtain field-specific weather information by the growth stage of cultivated crops. This would help the farmers make the better use of the existing weather-hazard GIS map-based alarm system.
