Summer Precipitation Forecast Using Satellite Data and Numerical Weather Forecast Model Data (광역 위성 영상과 수치예보자료를 이용한 여름철 강수량 예측)

  • In this study, satellite data (MTSAT-1R), a numerical weather prediction model, RDAPS (Regional Data Assimilation and Prediction System) output, ground weather station data, and artificial neural networks were used to improve the accuracy of summer rainfall forecasts. The developed model was applied to the Seoul station to forecast the rainfall at 3, 6, 9, and 12-hour lead times. Also to reflect the different weather conditions during the summer season which is related to the frontal precipitation and the cyclonic precipitation such as Jangma and Typhoon, the neural network models were formed for two different periods of June-July and August-September respectively. The rainfall forecast model was trained during the summer season of 2006 and 2008 and was verified for that of 2009 based on the data availability. The results demonstrated that the model allows us to get the improved rainfall forecasts until lead time of 6 hour, but there is still a large room to improve the rainfall forecast skill.

  • 실험을 통하여 엔진의 성능을 파악하고자 한다면 적지 않은 시간동안 많은 비용과 노력이 필요하다. 최근 연구에서는 이러한 단점을 해결하기 위해 CFD를 이용 선행해석을 통해 미리 그 엔진의 성능을 예측하여 실험에 들이는 시간과 비용을 줄여가고 있다. 본 연구는 실험을 통하여 소형엔진의 성능을 알아보기 이전에 선행해석을 통해 소형엔진의 성능을 예측하고자 한다. 소형엔진의 선행 해석을 위해 전자제어 연료분사 방식의 400cc급 소형엔진을 모델링하고 1D 해석프로그램인 GT-Power를 통하여 엔진의 Toque, Power 및 배기가스를 예측하였다.

Characteristics of One Step Advanced Discrete Time D-Control with Time Delay in Noncolocated Flexible System (비병치 유연계의 시간지연 이산제어에서 한스텝선행 미분제어기의 특성)

  • This paper considers a time delay control of noncolocated flexible mechanical systems in discrete time domain. A stability criterion suggested in the previous paper is,extended in the consideration of infinite mode property of flexible systems and finite control sampling frequency. Based on the stability criterion, the one step advanced discrete time derivative control is suggested, which can stabilize infinite number of modes of a flexible system. The sensitivity analysis shows the robustness of the one step advanced control to the system parameter uncertainties and time delay errors. Application to a simply supported beam verifies the extended stability criterion and the effectiveness of the one step advanced D-control.

  • 다중 프로세서 시스템이 개발됨에 따라, 새로운 일정계획문제, 하나의 작업이 하나이상의 기계에 의해 동시에 처리되어야 하는 문제가 대두되었다. 이 연구에서는 선행관계를 가진 이러한 다중 프로세서 일정계획문제에 대해 다루어 보았다. 이 연구의 목적은 makespan을 최소화하는 일정계획을 찾는 것이다. 일반적으로 Branch and Bound 기법을 이용하여 선행관계를 가진 다중 프로세서 일정계획문제의 최적해를 찾았는데, 해의 탐색시간이 너무 오래 걸린다는 단점이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 짧은 시간 내에 최적해와 가까운 근사해를 simulated annealing(SA)방법을 이용하여 구해보았다. SA의 성능을 측정하기 위하여, SA의 CPU 처리시간과 구한 근사해를 40개의 예제문제를 통하여 Kramer의 방법의 CPU 처리시간과 최적해와 비교해 보았다.

  • 본 연구에서는 구획화재의 화재성상을 온도곡선으로 나타내어 시간 경과에 따른 단계별 화재성장을 예측하고자 EN 1991-1-2 Annex A의 이론식을 프로그램화 하였다. 그리고 이를 검증하기 위하여 선행연구 조사 후 선행연구에 사용된 입력 값을 프로그램화 된 이론식에 입력하여 도출된 결과와 선행연구에서 제시하고 있는 결과와 비교 분석하였다.

  • 이상기후로 인해 돌발적이고 국지적인 호우 발생의 빈도가 증가하게 되면서 짧은 선행시간(~3 시간) 범위에서 수치예보보다 높은 정확도를 갖는 초단시간 강우예측자료가 돌발홍수 및 도시홍수의 조기경보를 위해 유용하게 사용되고 있다. 일반적으로 초단시간 강우예측 정보는 레이더를 활용하여 외삽 및 이동벡터 기반의 예측기법으로 산정한다. 최근에는 장기간 레이더 관측자료의 확보와 충분한 컴퓨터 연산자원으로 인해 레이더 자료를 활용한 인공지능 심층학습 기반(RNN(Recurrent Neural Network), CNN(Convolutional Neural Network), Conv-LSTM 등)의 강우예측이 국외에서 확대되고 있고, 국내에서도 ConvLSTM 등을 활용한 연구들이 진행되었다. CNN 심층신경망 기반의 초단기 예측 모델의 경우 대체적으로 외삽기반의 예측성능보다 우수한 경향이 있었으나, 예측시간이 길어질수록 공간 평활화되는 경향이 크게 나타나므로 고강도의 뚜렷한 강수 특징을 예측하기 힘들어 예측정확도를 향상시키는데 중요한 소규모 기상현상을 왜곡하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 한계를 보완하기 위해 적대적 생성 신경망(Generative Adversarial Network, GAN)을 적용한 초단시간 예측기법을 활용하고자 한다. GAN은 생성모형과 판별모형이라는 두 신경망이 서로간의 적대적인 경쟁을 통해 학습하는 신경망으로, 데이터의 확률분포를 학습하고 학습된 분포에서 샘플을 쉽게 생성할 수 있는 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 2017년부터 2021년까지의 환경부 대형 강우레이더 합성장을 수집하고, 강우발생 사례를 대상으로 학습을 수행하여 신경망을 최적화하고자 한다. 학습된 신경망으로 강우예측을 수행하여, 국내 기상청과 환경부에서 생산한 레이더 초단시간 예측강우와 정량적인 정확도를 비교평가 하고자 한다.

  • This study examines the present conditions and antecedent factors affecting helping professions' cultural competence, focusing on such groups as social workers, teachers, nurses, and social work civil servants. The analysis of data shows that teachers' cultural competence is the highest, social workers, social work civil servants, and nurses are descending order. The study also found significant antecedent factors: (1)individual antecedent factors are age, education, and foreign language skill; (2)work-related antecedent factors are multicultural working hours and working duration; (3)organizational antecedent factors are education/training and organizational support. Finally, the study suggests policy directions and practical implications for enhancing cultural competence.

  • OBS(Optical Burst Switching) networks which decouple the burst from its header has characteristic one-way reservation. Therefore, the fault of a fiber link may lead to the magnitude of burst loss. Since sending a header packet and using an offset time before the transmission of the corresponding burst. In this paper, we analysis a offset time based on the burst loss rate resulting from only link failure and by applying the restoration schemes in an optical burst switching networks. The simulation results in terms of the effect of a offset time is evaluated in our network model to verify that comparing the numerical analysis with simulation result. Finally, and through these results, We propose the new restoration scheme based on offset time considered Quality of Service.

A construction of a time-speed function in the time-distance function of students with chunky reasoning (덩어리 추론을 하는 학생의 시간-거리함수에서 시간-속력함수 구성에 대한 연구)

  • Previous studies from domestic and abroad are accumulating information on how to reason students' continuous changes through teaching experiments. These studies deal with scenes in which students who make 'smooth reasoning' and 'chunky reasoning' construct mathematical results together in teaching experiments. However, in order to analyze their results in more detail, it is necessary to check what kind of results a student reasoning in a specific way constructs for the tasks of previous studies. According to the need for these studies, the researcher conducted a total of 14 teaching experiments on one first-year high school student who was found to make 'chunky reasoning'. In this study, it was possible to observe a scene in which a student who makes 'chunky reasoning' constructs an output similar to 'a mathematical result constructed by students with various reasoning methods(smooth reasnoning or chunky reasoning) in previous studies.' In particular, the student who participated in this study observed a consistent construction method of constructing the function of 'time-speed' from the function of 'time-distance'. The researcher expected that information on this student's distinctive construction methods would be helpful for subsequent studies.

Influence of Characteristics of Hospital Foodservice Operation and Dietitian on Performance of HACCP Prerequisite Program (병원 급식소와 영양사의 특성이 HACCP 선행요건 수행도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze factors that influence prerequisite program (PRP) performance of hospital foodservice operation. Data was collected through surveys given to 65 dietitians working in general hospital with ${\geq}100beds$. Importance score of sanitary management for the self-operated establishments was significantly higher than that of contract-managed in the areas of working environment management (p<0.01), waste management (p<0.05), clean disinfection management (p<0.05). Performance score of hospitals with ${\leq}300beds$ was significantly lower than that of hospitals with ${\geq}300beds$ in personal hygiene management (p<0.05). Moreover, importance score of dietitians spending ${\geq}3hours$ on inspection time was significantly higher than that of dieticians spending ${\leq}3hr$ in waste management area. According to the results of Pearson correlation analysis, PRP performance score was positively related with dietitian's career (p<0.05), number of submitted beds (p<0.05), cooking process inspection time (p<0.05), dietitian's job satisfaction (p<0.01), and holding rate of utensil and equipment (p<0.05). In addition, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that dietitian's job satisfaction (p<0.001) and holding rate of utensil and equipment (p<0.05) had a significant positive effect on prerequisite program performance. In conclusion, improvement of working condition to increase dietitian's job satisfaction and securing of utensils and equipments are high priorities for improvement of PRP performance.
