Importance and performance of food and nutrition labeling for school adolescents in Seoul (서울 일부 지역 학교 청소년들의 식품/영양 라벨링에 대한 중요도-수행도 연구)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the importance and performance of food/nutrition labeling. The aim was to determine how important students consider food nutritional labeling, utilization of nutrition labels in daily life, and consumer satisfaction of current nutritional labeling. Methods: This study was conducted using a primary survey of students at one high school in Seoul. A total of 300 of 382 questionnaires were analyzed. Results: Regarding difference analysis of the importance-performance of food/nutrition labeling, importance showed higher scores than performance in all 10 attributes. According to the results of Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA), 'health, weight control and maintenance, proper dietary habits, and personal satisfaction' displayed both high importance and performance in the first quadrant. Importance of two factors (health and nutritional factor and effects of media and education) of the 10 attributes positively influenced overall satisfaction in the multiple regression analysis. Conclusion: To develop healthier food choices, it is necessary to educate adolescents about food/nutrition labeling and improve the food/nutrition labeling system.

Case Study of Menu Satisfaction Index in Business & Industry Food Service (산업체급식 메뉴 만족도 조사도구의 활용에 대한 사례연구)

  • This study was performed to develop menu satisfaction index in Business & Industry (B&I) food service and to survey customer's menu satisfaction using the index. The menu satisfaction index included 16 items with Likert 5 point. Cronbach's alpha to assess the internal reliability of the developed scales was 0.8917, which indicated highly reliable. Construct validity was assessed by principal components analysis and then four factors explaining 65.964% of the total variance were found. Among the 15 items of menu satisfaction, the average scores of all items were above 3.0 out of 5. As a result of analysis on menu satisfaction factors, 'propriety of food temperature' (3.52 out of 5) was the highest consideration followed by 'sufficiency of format' (3.46), 'excellence in food' (3.35) and 'well-being orientation' (3.31). It could be said that customer's perception on the menu quality was very positive. Four factors were correlated with overall menu satisfaction positively. Especially, 'excellence in food', and 'well-being orientation' and 'sufficiency of format' affected significantly on overall menu satisfaction. It concluded that customers were satisfied with portion size, temperature, price but their needs for taste and health/nutrition-related service would be increased. The menu satisfaction developed in this study should be applied to other B & I food service operation by type.

  • The purpose of this research is to explore the selection attributes that the director of a taekwondo gym places importance on when purchasing a work of taekwon gymnastics for the competition. We conducted in-depth interviews with 6 participants using qualitative case study techniques, and analyzed data using Creswell's (2015) spiral analysis method. The data analysis results show music, trainees, characteristics of the work, criteria for evaluating the competition, producer competence, and price factors. As a result of the research, music should be produced around diverse and differentiated genres and music preferred by the trainees, and the appropriate theme should be selected considering the expressiveness and level of the trainees. The work should be considered creative works that harmonize the movement ratio of Taekwondo movements and dance, and the length of the work should be adjusted according to the purpose of the buyer, and the construction of the work should be based on the regulations of the competition. The manufacturer should ensure smooth communication with the buyer, including coaching ability and experience at the convention site. Prices will be affordable and affordable, and prices will need to be calculated based on special prices or mentoring periods for a small number of buyers.

  • The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between satisfaction and future behavior intention of cafeteria users. Respondents of the research were cafeteria users in major colleges in Kyunggi province. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed between October 1, 2010 and October 20, 2010 but only281 questionnaires were used for the analysis. Based on 14 selection attributes, factor analysis showed that the KMO value of 0.634, which was extracted by Verimax vertical rotation, and=610.084(p<0.001). In addition, the distributional explanation showed a total of 61.685%. Five factors were obtained as ingredients, food, menu, maintenance, and internal environment factors according to the feature of each variable. The Cronbach value according to confidence and validity tests was 0.703. The explanation was 16.3% and the influence on satisfaction included ingredients, maintenance, and internal environment. The effect on future behavior intention was significant at the level of p<0.001. This study has limitations in that it has generalized the findingson consumers of university cafeterias; therefore, follow-up studies must be conducted.

  • The Purpose of this study is to identify important factors in choosing liner shipping companies using the AHP. The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), introduced by Satty T. L. in 1970, is a decision technique the has been applied to private and public sectors and to group decision problems. This paper will demonstrate the level of importance in 4 major factors: cost, service, transportation and promotion. In detail, the 4 major factors are divided into 14 sub-factors. In the present research, various service attributes for shipping lines were selected from previous studies and the observed data for 4 main service attributes were collected through a questionnaire survey from 26 concerned international freight forwarder experts. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, it is found that the cost factor is the most important factor among the 4 main service attributes. It is very obvious that the cost factor directly affects the choosing the liner shipping company by international freight forwarders. Second, it is found that the second important factor in choosing the liner shipping company is the transportation factor and the third is the service factor. The promotion factor is underestimated, comparatively speaking. With the ever-increasing competition, liner shipping companies will need to study and understand the selection criteria of their clients(international freight forwarder), and apply the results to their daily and long-terms operations. In particular, liner shipping companies should establish a system to identify and sort the various selection criteria used by international freight forwarding companies.

  • 본 연구는 컨조인트 분석기법을 이용하여 의자의 물리적 적합도를 분석, 평가하여 사용자가 선호하는 최적의 의자를 제시하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 컨조인트 분석기법은 Marketing 분야에서 주로 많이 쓰여온 분석 방법으로서 제품의 중요한 속성들을 찾아내어 다양한 종류의 제품들에 대한 고객의 선호도를 분석하는 방법이다. 이러한 컨조인트 분석기법은 제품개발과 평가의 측면에서 매우 큰 가능성이 있음에도 불구하고 마켓팅 이외의 분야에서는 거의 적용되자 않고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 의자의 물리적 적합성 연구에 이 컨조인트 분석을 이용하여 그 적용의 가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. 또한 이러한 적합성 연구에 컨조인트 분석기법이 타당한 분석기법인지 비교하기 위해 분산분석의 기법도 병행하여 실시하였다. 문헌 조사와 전문가 의견 수렴을 통하여 선행연구에서 추출된 의자의 물리적 적합도 요소인 안정성, 여유성, 적합성, 안락성등 4개의 적합도 요소를 채택하여 종속변수로 사용하였다. 또한 의자 자체의 설계 요소에 해당하는 휴먼인터페이스 요소(HIE)는 높이 조절 여부, 팔걸이 유무, Tilting 유무의 3가지 속성을 선택하여 독립변수로 사용하였다. 분석에 사용된 의자는 각 속성을 특징적으로 대표하는 8개의 의자들로서 구성하였고 63명의 피험자를 사용하여 실험하였다. 분석의 결과는 안정성에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 속성은 높이조절(HC)로서 남자와 여자 모두 높이조절 기능이 없을 때 안정성을 느낀다는 결과가 나왔다. 여유성에 영향을 주는 가장 큰 요인은 남자는 높이조절 기능이 있을 때, 여자는 팔걸이가 있을 때 여유성이 있다고 판단하였으며, 인체적합성에 영향을 주는 요인은 남자와 여자 모두 Tilting 기능이, 안락성에 영향을 주는 주요인은 남자는 Tilting 기능이 있을 매, 여자는 높이조절 기능이 있을 때인 것으로 나타났다.감, 강연성, 회복성, 수분특성, 밀도감이었으며, 요인들로 설명되는 누적분산값은 67.18%였다.주관적 평가의 결과와 객관적 평가 결과를 이용해 마직물의 태를 평가하는 산출식을 제시하였다. 태 평가치의 경우 16가지 특성치를 모두 넣는 방법과 stepwise 방법, 또 Kawabatark 사용한 순차적 군 회귀법의 세가지 방법의 회귀식 중 16가지 특성치를 모두 넣는 방법의 결정계수가 가장 높았다.tosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea. Study on the Type of Selecting Channels through the On-Line about Restaurant Information by Baby Boomer Consumers (베이비부머 소비자의 온라인을 통한 외식정보채널유형 선택에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze to 1) the differences according to demographic characteristics 2) select the type-specific communities online channels of the baby boomer customers group, who ever search for restaurant information through on-line for the previous three months. The study was based on a total of 280 samples obtained from on-line networking service users in a metropolitan area from April 15 to 30, 2016. The major findings are as follows. The data were analysed using frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis and ${\chi}^2test$. According to the results of factor analysis, on-line utilizing attributes were separated into three factors: commitment of useful information, activity of leading on-line, and habit. The based on a factor analysis, cluster analysis was adopted to segment baby boomer customers. The identified four clusters showed in using on-line: type of active utilization, habit, seeking information and passive utilization. The clusters had significant differences in gender and monthly income by demographics. All of four clusters selected blog, face book, twitter in turn through the personal on-line channels. Cluster type of active utilization and habit selected restaurant home pages, restaurant blog, restaurant face book, restaurant twitter in turn through the public on-line channels. Cluster type of seeking information and passively utilization selected restaurant home pages, restaurant blog, restaurant twitter, restaurant face book in turn through the public on-line channels. Implications and future research were also discussed.

A Study on Bayesian Approach of Software Stochastic Reliability Superposition Model using General Order Statistics (일반 순서 통계량을 이용한 소프트웨어 신뢰확률 중첩모형에 관한 베이지안 접근에 관한 연구)

  • The complicate software failure system is defined to the superposition of the points of failure from several component point process. Because the likelihood function is difficulty in computing, we consider Gibbs sampler using iteration sampling based method. For each observed failure epoch, we applied to latent variables that indicates with component of the superposition mode. For model selection, we explored the posterior Bayesian criterion and the sum of relative errors for the comparison simple pattern with superposition model. A numerical example with NHPP simulated data set applies the thinning method proposed by Lewis and Shedler[25] is given, we consider Goel-Okumoto model and Weibull model with GOS, inference of parameter is studied. Using the posterior Bayesian criterion and the sum of relative errors, as we would expect, the superposition model is best on model under diffuse priors.

  • Like always selecting anything in everyday lives, We must choose a travel mode to achieve its purposes driven by diverse factors such as travel distance and accessibility of public transit. Assuming that they are differentiated depending on whether a travel purpose is commuting, shopping or leasure, the study investigated their distinguished impacts on travel mode choice by using binary logit models by travel purpose and mode. Identifying that travel time has an important role in choosing a travel mode whether its purpose is any, the results show that longer travel time tends to increase the possibilities of taking public transit, transfer and rail transit rather than bus. In addition, the easy use of a car and its parking to travelers is more important in their choosing an automobile as a travel mode than other factors. In the models of identifying the probability of mode choice between bus and rail transit, we find that its choice tends to be decided by travelers depending on whether any public transit mode is more accessible to them. When comparing the results among travel purposes, we identify that the easy use of a car and parking in their destination is more important for commuting, while accessibility of public transit in their origination increases the probability of taking a transit mode.

Influences on Store Selection and Recommendation Intention According to Lifestyles - Centered on Optical Shops - (라이프스타일에 따른 점포선택과 추천의사에 미치는 영향 - 안경원을 중심으로 -)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to offer some more effective marketing strategies for optical shops on a basis of analyses of what lifestyles influence most on 'store selection' and 'recommendation intention' and of what properties of 'store selection' influence most on 'recommendation intention'. Methods: Questionnaire surveys were conducted from the customers who visited the optical shops in Seoul and northern Gyeonggi-do region from January 1 to June 30, 2014. It was analyzed via utilizing SPSS v.20.0 statistical package program. Results: The results in lifestyle-factors which influence on store selection were arranged in order as follows: 'stability oriented', 'goal oriented', 'cultural activity oriented'. And the results in value-factors which influence on 'recommendation intention' were arranged in order as follows: 'stability oriented', 'health oriented'. The most positive factor for 'recommendation intention' was revealed as 'dealing with customers' among several factors of 'store selection'. Conclusions: Today's marketing activities for customers should be suited for different lifestyles of customers. Customers who have 'stability oriented', 'goal oriented', and 'cultural activity oriented' lifestyles tend to select optical shops in consideration of 21 items when selecting an optical shop. Customers who have 'stability oriented', and 'health oriented' lifestyles have positive influences related to 'recommendation intention'. Also, it is likely for customers to recommend optical shops to others when the factor 'dealing with customers' meets their expectations.
