기어의 진동.소음

  • 기어는 사람에 의해 사용된 가장 중요한 기계 중의 하나이며, 회전하는 두 축 사이에 운동과 동력을 전달하고 회전 방향과 속도를 변경하는 역할을 한다. 기어는 우리가 손에 차는 시계나 벽시계뿐만 아니라 자동차, 기차, 선박, 비행기에서 엔진의 동력을 전달하여 바퀴나 혹은 프로펠러를 돌리기 위해 사용된다. 또한 장난감, 복사기, 팩스, 풍력발전기에 사용하는 등 그 용도가 다양하다. 이 글에서는 기어의 역사를 간단히 살펴보고 기어의 진동 소음에 관련된 연구 주제에 대해 기술한다.

  • 최근의 선박 추진시스템은 기존의 엔진, 터빈 등의 구동 원에서 선박의 발전기로부터 선체 외부의 프로펠러와 일체형으로 구성된 모터를 구동하여 추진하는 전기추진식으로 변화되고 있다. 특히, 히토류계 영구자석재질의 발달로 인하여 대형 선박의 추진을 위한 대용량 자석계자형 BLDC와 영구자석형 동기전동기의 설계가 가능해 졌으며, 이에 대한 연구구도 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 이도 중 소형 선박기기에 한정되어 있으며, MW급 이상의 대형기기의 설계 연구도 일부 선진국에서만 진행 되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 5MW, 150rpm급 대용량 추진전동기 설계에 관한 연구를 하였다. 본 설계 모델은 오랜 기간 해양 운행을 해야 하는 선박특성 상 중요한 부분인 에너지 효율을 높이기 위하여 인버터를 전동기 내부에 배치한 구조로 부피와 중량을 줄이고, 더불어 속도에 따라 인버터를 커플링하여 상변환이 가능한 전동기를 설계하였다.

  • Terminal voltage of the Automatic Voltage Regulator(AVR) of brushless synchronous generator is generally being controlled by PID Control way in shore and ship field. However, in case of changeable large load on power system, PID control method is deficiency to respond output voltage with settling time. Hence, taking into consideration this situation, it is required new control method. In this thesis, we propose Fuzzy Logic Control(FLC) which has more optimal robust control way in order to respond varying values of terminal voltage to the brushless synchronous generator through simulation of MATLAB/SIMULINK and prove Fuzzy logic control more optimal compared with PID control.

  • As IMO environmental regulations are tightened, the need to establish a system that can reduce emissions is increasing, and for this purpose, various power control management systems have been studied and implemented as a new energy management system for ships. In this study, we design a control process through modeling for Bi-Directional Converter (BDC) application with bi-directional power flow to link batteries, which are energy storage devices, to conventional generator power systems, and propose mechanisms for batteries optimized for varying loads. This work models MATLAB/Simulink as a BDC and simulates current control and state of charge (SOC) optimization at the time of charging and discharging batteries according to load scenarios. Through this, the battery, power, and load were interlocked so that the generator operated on board could be operated in the optimal operation range, and power control management was performed to enable the generator to operate in the high fuel efficiency range.

Study on the Performance Improvement of Marine Engine Generator Exciter Control using Neural Network Controller (신경망 회로 제어기를 이용한 선박 엔진 발전기의 여자기 제어 성능 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The exciter of a ship generator adjusts the magnetic flux through excitation current control to maintain the output terminal voltage constant. The voltage controller inside the exciter typically uses a proportional integral control method. however, the response characteristics determined by the gain and time constant produce unwanted output owing to an inappropriate setting value that can reduce the quality and stability of power within the ship. In this study, a neural network circuit is learned using stable input/output data that can be obtained through the AC4A type exciter model provided by IEEE, and the simulation is performed by replacing the existing proportional integral control type voltage controller with the learned neural network circuit controller. Consequently, overshooting was improved by up to 9.63% compared with that of the previous model, and excellence in stable response characteristics was confirmed.

  • In this study, for the purpose of reduction of $CO_2$ gas emission and to increase recovery of waste heat from ships, the ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) is investigated and offered for the conversion of temperature heat to electricity from waste heat energy from ships. Simulation was performed with waste heat from the exhaust gasse which is relatively high temperature and cooling sea water which is relatively low temperature from ships. Various fluid is used for simulation of the ORC system with variable temperature and flow condition and efficiency of system and output power is compared. Finally, 2,400kW output power is obtained by system optimization of the preheater and reheater utilizing waste heat form sea water cooling system.

  • Global economy has recorded low growth, low consumption, high unemployment rate, high risk, short boom and long recession. As a result, maritime economy declines and the reduction of maintenance costs is inevitable. Thus, Studies such as green ship, eco ship, and smart ship are being actively conducted to save energy of ship. Power management system that use batteries in green ship is an important research area. In this paper, we analyze the heavy load control of a power management system of a general ship using only a generator, and study a heavy load control algorithm for a battery connected power management system. To study this, a structure of battery connected power management system is proposed and a battery connected power simulator was constructed based on the proposed system. Through the simulator, the operation of the battery according to the heavy load control is defined and confirmed in the battery connected power management system.

  • This paper deals with the characteristic analysis of the integrated power system applied for the electric propulsion ships. This includes the electric power system modeling which is accomplished with the electric power network mainly composed of generators, switchboards, variable frequency devices, electric motors, and etc. In addition, performance comparison between the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and the induction motor (IM) for 3.7MW ship propulsion has been done. In order to investigated the main performance of propulsion motor, a coupled model taking into account torque density, copper loss, iron loss, efficiency, power factor, and torque ripple using finite element analysis (FEA) has been employed.

  • 최근의 선박 추진시스템은 기존의 엔진, 터빈 둥의 구동 원에서 선박의 발전기로부터 선체 외부의 프로펠러와 일체형으로 구성된 모터를 구동하여 추진하는 전기추진식으로 변화되고 있다. 특히, 히토류계 영구자석재질의 발달로 인하여 대형선박의 추진을 위한 대용량 자석계자형 BLDC와 영구자석형 동기전동기의 설계 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 여전히 MW급 대용량 BLDC 추진전동기의 설계 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 5MW급 대용량 BLDC 추진전동기 설계 연구를 진행하였으며, 그 결과 슬롯 수에 의한 고정자 형상이 다른 3가지 타입의 인버터 내장형 MW급 모델을 설계하였다. 그리고 이들 모델들을 정자계 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석함으로써 고정자 형상에 따른 회전특성을 분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 본 설계 조건에 적합한 고정자 형상 설계 방향을 제시하였다.
