Properties analysis of environment friendly calcareous deposit films electrodeposited at various temperature conditions in natural seawater (천연해수 중 온도 변화에 따라 전착한 환경친화적인 석회질 피막의 특성 분석)

  • Cathodic protection is recognized as the most cost-effective and technically appropriate corrosion prevention method for the submerged zone of offshore structures, ships, and deep-sea facilities. When cathodic protection is applied, the cathodic currents cause dissolved oxygen reduction, generating hydroxyl ions near the polarized surface that increase the interfacial pH and result in enhanced carbonate ion concentration and precipitation of an inorganic layer whose principal component is calcium carbonate. Depending on the potential, magnesium hydroxide can also precipitate. This mixed deposit is generally called "calcareous deposit." This layer functions as a barrier against the corrosive environment, leading to a decrease in current demand. Hence, the importance of calcareous deposits for the effective, efficient operation of marine cathodic protection systems is recognized by engineers and scientists concerned with cathodic protection in submerged marine environments. Calcareous deposit formation on a marine structure depends on the potential, current, pH, temperature, pressure, sea-water chemistry, flow, and time; deposit quality is significantly influenced by these factors. This study determines how calcareous deposits form in sea water, and assesses the interrelationship of formation conditions (such as the sea water temperature and surface condition of steel), deposited structure, and properties and the effectiveness of the cathodic protection.

An Analysis on the Characteristics of Wind Distribution in the Coast of Busan Using AWS Data (AWS 데이터를 이용한 부산 해안의 바람분포 특성 해석)

  • Wind velocity and wind direction are very important in the viewpoint of ship's safety and stability of port structure. The characteristics of wind distribution in the coast of Busan are analyzed for 10 years from 1997 to 2006 using AWS(Automatic Weather System) data. The characteristics of wind distribution of Miryang, is not affected by the land and sea breeze are also examined to understand clearly the characteristics of wind distribution in the coast of Busan. The mean wind velocity in the coast of Busan is stronger than that of Miryang. The mean wind velocitie at Youngdo and Gadukdo stations of Busan are stronger about 2.0 times than those at IlGwang, Haeundae and Daeyeon stations. The correlation a states show that the variation tendencies of monthly mean wind velocitie in the coast of Busan are very similar. The maximum monthly mean velocitie in the coast of Busan are recorded in September. This re ult is closely related to the influence of typhoon. The maximum instantaneous wind velocitie are also strong at Youngdo and Gadukdo stations and the peaks of maximum instantaneous wind $velocit^9$ are observed mainly from August to September. In the coast of Busan, the SW'ly-NNE'ly wind are prevailing in the winter and the SW'ly and NE'ly wind are predomi snt in the spring. w that the vs of wind direction in the summer and athumn are similar with those in the spring and winter, respectively.

Development of the New Hybrid Evolutionary Algorithm for Low Vibration of Ship Structures (선박 구조물의 저진동 설계를 위한 새로운 조합 유전 알고리듬 개발)

  • This paper proposes a RSM-based hybrid evolutionary algorithm (RHEA) which combines the merits of the popular programs such as genetic algorithm (GA), tabu search method, response surface methodology (RSM). This algorithm, for improving the convergent speed that is thought to be the demerit of genetic algorithm, uses response surface methodology and simplex method. The mutation of GA offers random variety to finding the optimum solution. In this study, however, systematic variety can be secured through the use of tabu list. Efficiency of this method has been proven by applying traditional test functions and comparing the results to GA. And it was also proved that the newly suggested algorithm is very effective to find the global optimum solution to minimize the weight for avoiding the resonance of fresh water tank that is placed in the rear of ship. According to the study, GA's convergent speed in initial stages is improved by using RSM method. An optimized solution is calculated without the evaluation of additional actual objective function. In a summary, it is concluded that RHEA is a very powerful global optimization algorithm from the view point of convergent speed and global search ability.

Analysis of Hull-Induced Flow Noise Characteristics for Wave-Piercing Hull forms (파랑관통형 선형의 선체유기 유동소음특성에 관한 연구)

  • As ships become faster, larger and are required to meet higher standards, the importance of flow noise is highlighted. However, unlike in the aeroacoustics field for airplanes and trains (where flow noise is considered in design), acoustics are not considered in the marine field. In this study, analysis procedures for hull-induced flow noise are established to investigate the flow noise characteristics of a wave-piercing hull form that can negate the effect of wave-breaking. The principal mechanisms behind hull-induced flow noise are fluid-structure interactions between complex flows underneath the turbulent boundary layer and the hull. Noise induced by the turbulent boundary layer was calculated using wall pressure fluctuation and energy flow analysis methods. The results obtained show that noise characteristics can be distinguished by frequency range and hull region. Also, the low-frequency range is affected by hull forms such that it is correlated with ship speed.

  • 금속재료의 표면 특성을 높이기 위해서 여러 표면처리 방법들이 사용되어져 오고 있다. 그 중 용사법에 의한 코팅방법이 최근의 현저한 기술적인 진보와 새로운 용사재료의 개발 등에 의해 여러 분야에 널리 응흉되고 있다. 일반적으로 이 용사법에 의한 코팅층은 다리, 선박 등의 대형 구조물에 대한 내식성 향상뿐만 아니라 자동차 및 항공기 부품, 핵 반응기 등의 코팅부에 널리 이용되고 였다. 특히 해수분위기에서 주로 사용되는 설비의 내식성을 향상시킬 목적으로 사용되 는 알루마늄 및 아연 합금의 용사 코팅층은 대부분의 경우 건조한 분위기보다는 수분이 많은 수용액 환경 하에서 사용되므로, 사용 환경 중에서 용사피막의 내식성을 조사하는 연구가 요구되고 있다. 사용되는 환경하에서의 침지시험에 의한 방법도 중요하지만, 가속화된 전기화학측정에 의한 방법 또한 이용된다. 열용사법에 의한 코팅층의 전기화학적 특성을 알아보기 위해서 3.5 % NaCI 수용액 내에서 AI 5 5083 모재와 Al-2%Zn 합금의 용사 코팅층 각각에 대한, 그리고 AI 5083 모재 위 AI-2%Zn 용사층이 코팅된 경우에 대한 분극거동과 침지시간에 따른 부식전위 및 분극저항성의 특성변화, 표면의 임피던스특성 변화 등을 측정하였다. 이 결과 모재에 대한 코팅층의 희생양극성올 판단할 수 있고, 모재/코팅 사스템의 분극거동은 혼성전위이론(mixed-potential theory)에 의해 결정되었다. 용사 코팅층이 박리되어 모재가 일부 드러난 경우를 모사한 시험편올 제작하고, 시험편 표면의 각 위치에 따라 부식전위 분포를 측정하였다. 그리고 측정 데이터를 기초로 표면의 상태변화를 모사하여 용사코팅에 의한 표면에서의 방식전위분포를 시율레이션하였다. 이와 같은 표면에서의 방식전위분포 해석을 통하여, 코팅층의 희생양극성에 의한 모재의 방식범위를 판단할 수 있다.의 비저 항을 갖는 철 박막에서도 99.9% 순도의 철을 타켓으로 하여 증착된 막은 일반 저탄소 강을 타켓으로 하여 증착된 막보다 훨씬 낮은 부식속도를 보였다.TEX>$He/O_2/Ar/N_2$의 gas를 사용 한 atmospheric pressure plasma cleaning 과 $Ar/O_2$의 gas를 사용한 ICP cleaning에서 이 차전자방출계수(SEEC)가 약 1.5~2.5배 증가된 것을 알 수 있었다. 저지능 등을 평가하여 각 실험결과를 비교분석하여 보았다. 수록 민감하여 304 의 IGSCC 와 매우 유사한 거동을 보인다. 본 강연에서는 304 와 600 의 고온 물에서 일어나는 IGSCC 민감도에 미치는 환경, 예민화처리, 합금원소의 영향을 고찰하고 이에 대한 최근의 연구 동향과 방식 방법을 다룬다.다.의 목적과 지식)보다 미학적 경험에 주는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 모든 사람들에게 비슷한 미학적 경험을 발생시키는 것 이 밝혀졌다. 다시 말하면 모든 사람들은 그들의 문화적인 국적과 사회적 인 직업의 차이, 목적의 차이, 또한 환경의 의미의 차이에 상관없이 아름다 운 경관(High-beauty landscape)을 주거지나 나들이 장소로서 선호했으며, 아름답다고 평가했다. 반면에, 사람들이 갖고 있는 문화의 차이, 직업의 차 이, 목적의 차이, 그리고 환경의 의미의 차이에 따라 경관의 미학적 평가가 달라진 것으로 나타났다.corner$적 의도에 의한 경관구성의 일면을 확인할수 있지만 엄밀히 생각하여 보면 이러한 예의 경우도 최락의 총체적인 외형은 마찬가지로 $\ulcorner$순응$\lrcorner$의 범위를 벗어나지 않는다. 그렇기 때문에도 $\ulcorner$순응$\lrcorne

항만개발에 의한 조석조류 및 수질변화 예측을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델 연구

  • 항만개발 사업은 매립이나 준설과 같은 해안선과 해저지형을 변화시키는 공사가 이루어지며 이는 조석조류 현상의 변화를 유발하게 된다. 특히 해안지형이 복잡한 항만이나 하구에서는 변화정도가 크게 나타나며 방파제나 선박접안 시설과 같은 항내 구조물을 축조 할 경우에도 조석조류 변화가 야기된다. 조석조류 현상의 변화는 해양 수질과 생물상에 영 향을 줄뿐만 아니라 인접한 육지에 이르기까지 크다란 피해를 유발할 수가 있다. 창조시 해 수를 육지로 범람하게 하거나 퇴적이나 침식조건을 변화시킬 수도 있으며 오염물질이 외해 로 확산되는 과정을 방해하고 해양생물의 서식조건을 악화시켜 부근 해역의 어업에 피해를 유발할 수도 있다. 또한 해안 공사 과정에 해수로 유입되는 토사나 항만 이용시에 배출되는 폐수 등이 항내 수질과 생태계를 변화시킬 수 있다. 따라서 조석조류와 수질변화를 사전에 예측하고 이를 최소화하는 방안이 강구되어야 한다. 조석조류와 수질 변화를 사전에 예측하 는 방법으로 축소모형 실험과 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션이 사용된다. 축소모형 실험은 현장을 재현 하는데 많은 경비와 시간이 소모되며 예측에 한계가 있다. 반면에 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션은 대 상해역의 지형과 조류 그리고 수질특성에 적합하게 모델을 개발할 경우 예측력이 매우 높기 때문에 현재 가장 널리 이용되고 있다. 본 연구는 유한 요소법에 기초하여 미국 공병단 (United States Army Corps of Engineers)에서 개발한 TABS-2 모델을 이용하여 온산항에 서 시행되는 부두건설에 따른 조석조류 및 수질변화를 시뮬레이션하였다. 측정된 자료로 모 델 계수를 보정하고 검증하였으며 항내 매립과 준설이 이루어질 때 나타나는 조위와 조속변 화를 예측하였다. 매립과 준설공사시 유출되는 토사가 조석조류현상에 따라 이동 확산되는 범위와 농도분포를 예측하였다.ophobic components)은 75~80%, 친수성 물질(hydrophilic components)은 30~33%정도의 분포를 보였고, 전염소 및 전오존 공정을 거친 처리수에서는 각각 62.2-62.8%, 43.9~49.0% 및 50~ 55%, 40~57% 정도의 분포를 보였다. 그리고 웅집-침전을 거친 처리수에서는 그 분포가 77~82%, 24-48%였다. 전주리 공정을 통하여 소수성 물질(byoghobic components)의 분포가 감 소하는 것을 볼 때 전염소 및 전오존 처리가 용존유기물의 응집에는 오히려 역 효과를 나타내는 것으로 판단된다. 것으로 판단된다.여 황토 2g에 대하여 Hieltijes and Lijklema 방법에 의해 Adsorbed-p, Nonapatite inorganic-P(NAI-P), Apatite-p, Organic-P로 구분하여 분석하고, 총인(Total Phosphorus)을 Standard Methods에 따라 Persulfate digestion후 0.45 m membrane 여지 여과하여 여액에 대해 PO3-4-P의 농도를 Ascorbic Acid 법으로 측정한 결과, NAI-P가 가장 큰 비율을 차지하였고, 부원료로 첨가된 금속 양이온 중 Fe3-이온이 흡착에 기여하는 정도가 가장 큰 것으로 평가되었다.다당류 T-AS의 보체 활성화 기작은 classical과 alternative complement pathway의 양 경로를 통해 활성화 되었다. T-AS 분획은 mouse내의 특정 혈청단백을 증가시켰으며, 항체 생성능의 증가가 관찰되어 effect T 세포의 활성화가 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있었다. T-AS는 생체내 투여시에 대식세포의 탐식능이 증진되었으며, 대식세포 기능 저해제에 의한 대식세포의 기능 저해 현상이 회복되었다. 이와 같은 결과들로부터, T-AS의 항암 활성은 활성

  • Inspection becomes to be important in the safety of structure and economical viewpoint, because structural damage accompanies lots of economical cost and social problems. Especially ship structure is composed of a lot of members and it is impossible to inspect all members continuously. The purpose of this paper is to get optimal inspection plan containing inspection time and method. Crack is one of major modes on the structural failure and can lead to collapse of structure. In this paper, the deteriorating process, which contains inspection to detect the crack before the propagation to large crack, is idealized as Markov chain model. Genetic algorithm is also used to accomplish the optimization of inspection plan. Especially, the probabilistic characteristics of cracks are changed, because ship is operating in corrosive environments and the scantling of structural members is reduced due to corrosion. Non-stationary Markov chain model is used to represent the process of corrosion in structural members. In this paper, the characteristics of indivisual inspection plan are compared by numerical examples for the change of corrosion rate, the cost due to scheduled system down and target failure probability. From the numerical example, it can be seen that the improvement of fatigue life for the members with short fatigue life is the most effective way in order to reduce total maintenance cost.

Out-of-Plane Buckling Analysis of Curved Beams Considering Rotatory Inertia Using DQM (미분구적법(DQM)을 이용 회전관성을 고려한 곡선 보의 외평면 좌굴해석)

  • Curved beams are increasingly used in buildings, vehicles, ships, and aircraft, which has resulted in considerable effort towards developing an accurate method for analyzing the dynamic behavior of such structures. The stability behavior of elastic curved beams has been the subject of many investigations. Solutions to the relevant differential equations have traditionally been obtained by the standard finite difference or finite element methods. However, these techniques require a great deal of computer time for a large number of discrete nodes with conditions of complex geometry and loading. One efficient procedure for the solution of partial differential equations is the differential quadrature method (DQM). This method has been applied to many cases to overcome the difficulties of complex algorithms and high storage requirements for complex geometry and loading conditions. Out-of-plane buckling of curved beams with rotatory inertia were analyzed using DQM under uniformly distributed radial loads. Critical loads were calculated for the member with various parameter ratios, boundary conditions, and opening angles. The results were compared with exact results from other methods for available cases. The DQM used only a limited number of grid points and shows very good agreement with the exact results (less than 0.3% error). New results according to diverse variation are also suggested, which show important roles in the buckling behavior of curved beams and can be used for comparisons with other numerical solutions or experimental test data.

The differential quadrature method(DQM) has been applied to a large number of cases to overcome the difficulties of the complex algorithms of programming for the computer, as well as excessive use of storage due to conditions of complex geometry and loading. In this study, the in-plane extensional vibration for asymmetric curved beams with linearly varying cross-section is analyzed using the DQM. Fundamental frequency parameters are calculated for the member with various parameter ratios, boundary conditions, and opening angles. The results are compared with the result by other methods for cases in which they are available. According to the analysis of the solutions, the DQM, used only a limited number of grid points, gives results which agree very well with the exact ones.
