This study analyzes the relationship of citations appearing in the patent data to understand knowledge transfers and impacts between patent documents in the field of pharmaceutical research. Patent data were collected from a website, Google Patents. The top 25 assignees were selected by searching for patent documents related to pharmaceutical research. We identify the citation relationships between assignees, then calculate and compare the values of h-index and derived indicators by using the number of citations and rank for each document of each assignee. As a result, in the case of pharmaceutical research, the assignee, such as 'Pfizer, MIT, and Abbott' shows a high impact. Among the five bibliometric indicators, the g-index and hS-index show similar results, and the indicators are the most related to the rankings of Total Citation Frequency, Cites per Patents, and Maximum Citation Frequency. In addition, it is highly related to the five indicators in the order of Total Citation Frequency, Cites per Patents, and Maximum Citation Frequency. In some cases, it is difficult to make an accurate comparison with Cites per Patents alone, which is previously known to indicate the technological influence of patent assignees.

Although BIBFRAME is recognized as a new bibliographic standard that can replace the existing MARC structure, the vastness of the descriptive items shows many limitations to be applied in library communities. Thus this study proposed separating the descriptive levels of BIBFRAME as a way to enhance the applicability of BIBFRAME. The descriptive level of BIBFRAME was divided into three stages: core, standard, and detailed levels based on the bibliographic area of ISBD 2011. This separation was semantically implemented using RDF/RDFS syntax. The levels of description in BIBFRAME was defined as Class Granularity and Class Element, and the Property Relation was defined for the linkage between the Classes defined and the BIBFRAME. By applying this syntactic structure, the relationships between the BIBFRAME descriptive items separated by each descriptive level could be linked with each other. This approach is expected to ensure applicability in the creation and sharing of bibliographic data using BIBFRAME.

The aim of this article is to outline the history and importance of the Korean rare books in Coll$\grave{e}$ge de France. With this purpose in mind, the historical background and the process of how these books came to Coll$\grave{e}$ge de France were studied through cataloguing the list, and then analyzing them by subject, printing type, and timeline. We examined the relationship between the private collections of Maurice Courant(1865-1935) and the Korean rare books held in Coll$\grave{e}$ge de France. The Bibliographie Cor$\acute{e}$enne written by Maurice Courant is the most important reference book for studying the publication of the late Joseon dynasty and finding the whereabouts of the Korean books in France. Also, we tried to figure out the best way to implement and make use of a bibliographic database, and contribute to the exploration and study of Korean Cultural Heritage scattered outside Korea.

This study aimed at analyzing journals and index terms, authors of the reformed theology and evangelicalism, neutral theological position by using bibliometrical analyzing methods. The analyzing methods are average linkage and neighbor centralities, profile cosine similarities. Especially, when analyzing the relationship between authors, we interpreted the research topic by finding the key shared index terms between the authors. In the journal analysis results, 9 journals were largely clustered together in the two clusters of the reformed theology and evangelicalism, but Presbyterian Theological Quarterly that is thought to be a reformed journal was clustered in evangelical cluster. In the index terms analysis results of the clusters, the reformed theology and evangelicalism were key words representing the two clusters. In the authors' analysis results, we had 9 clusters and the Presbyterian theologian studying the reformed theology had the four clusters and the non-Presbyterian theologian had the 5 clusters. Therefore, we consistently had the two clusters of the reformed theology and evangelicalism in all the analysis of the journals and the index terms, the authors.

Numerous research papers have been accumulated due to the development and computerization of bibliometrics. This made it difficult to review all of the related papers published worldwide to conduct the study. However, due to the development of Natural language processing techniques, the tendency analysis of published research papers has become easier. In this study, text mining analysis using the statistical computing language R was carried out based on the bibliographic information of SCOPUS DB (Data Base) in the field of coastal and ocean engineering. As expected, the term 'wave' predominates, and it was confirmed that numerical analysis and hydraulic experiments were still dominant from the terms 'numerical model', 'numerical simulation', and 'experimental study'. In addition, recent use of the term 'wave energy' related to marine energy has been recognized. On the other hand, it was quantitatively confirmed that the frequency of connection between 'wave', and 'height' or 'energy' prevailed, and suggested the possibility of high resolution analysis by detailed field and period in the future.

Locating function of a particular item is more of added entry than a main entry heading. This function was expanded especially in the machine readable cataloging by introducing the control number and standard bibliographic number. Assembling function of the main entry heading is on a level with that of cross reference and notes, added entries, uniform headings. Links among all variant forms of a heading in hypercatalog will be made for collocating of all publications of a given author. The link of bibliographic records in this catalog can be freed from the dependence on standardized heading form. The function of the catalog is not affected even though by abandoning the concept of main entry heading. Further efforts should be made to raise users' finding opportunities through expansion of acces points and linking devices among related records.

정보검색시 전문(full-text)의 사용이 늘어남에 따라 다의어나 철자오류와 같은 문제점으로 인해 내부적인 정보원의 사용에 한계를 보이면서 외부적인 정보원, 즉 문헌간의 관계와 같은 링크 또는 인용정보에 대한 관심이 높아지게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 인용링크나 피인용링크, 서지결합링크, 동시인용링크 둥과 같은 인용정보와 적합성 피드백 검색을 이용하여 검색 성능을 향상시키는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

우리 협회에서 간행된 한국목록규칙 3판(KCR3)은 국내의 기술목록수준을 국제적인 수준으로 한 단계 진전시키는 중요한 계기가 되었다고 자부합니다. 그 근거로 국제서지기술법(ISBD)을 수용하여 서지기술단위저록방식을 규정함으로써, 기술만으로 완전한 저록을 구성할 수 있게 되었으며, 특히 우리의 언어나 사고과정에 기초한 한국적 특수성을 목록규칙에 반영할 수 있었다는 점을 들 수 있습니다. 그러나 종래 KCR3은 단행본 중심의 목록규칙이라는 한계가 있었고, 따라서 연속간행물과 기타 비도서자료에 대한 기술규칙의 제정이 요구되어 왔습니다. 각종 비도서잘(비책자자료)와 네트워크자원이 대량으로 간행되는 시점에서 이들 다양한 유형의 자료를 목록에서 수용할 수 있는 통합된 목록규칙이 요구되고 있는 실정임에도 불구하고, 규칙제정에 소요되는 시간과 인력을 고려하여 우선 일차로 연속간행물용 목록규칙(안)을 내어 놓게 된 것입니다. 이 목록규칙(안)은 그 동안 2년여에 걸쳐 우리 협회 목록위원회를 중심으로 회의와 토록과정을 거친 것으로 도서관계에 종사하시는 사서 여러분의 의견을 수용하고자 하오니, 애정과 관심으로 검토해 주시고 좋은 의견을 개진해 주시길 간곡히 부탁드립니다. 목록규칙은 바로 우리 도서관인 모두가 다듬고 만들어 가야 할 책무가 있기 때문입니다. 어떤 형태의 의견이나 권고안, 수정안이라도 좋으니 여러분의 많은 관심과 협조를 기대합니다.

This study intends to investigate the processing of the bibliographic relationships in the MARC formats based on the analysis to the related cataloging rules. In the traditional cataloging rules, many methods are used to process the bibliographic relationships(vertical, horizontal, and chronological), including analytics, references, notes, and independent entry. Linking entry fields in the MARC formats have been introduced mainly to process the chronological relationship in the serials, but later expanded, as a chronological in MARC format, to include other relationships applied to all other materials. Comparative analysis on the linking entry suggests that there are rare differences between UNIMARC and USMARC formats except the terminology and display constants, and that it is desirable in the KORMARC and JAPAN MARC to introduce the linking entry more comprehensively.

Author co-citation analysis with 20 authors from Korean Nutrition Literature were executed. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of bibliographic phenomena in Korean literature by co-citation and to approach the intellectural structure of nutrition field in view of multidimensional space. The analysis assumes that the more two author are cited together, the closer the relationship between them. The raw data are co-citation counts from the Korean Journal of Nutrition over the period 1986~1987. The resulting map shows (1) identifiable author groups of nutrition, (2) locations of these groups with respect to each other, (3) the degree of centrality and peripherality of author within groups, (4) the relationship between domestic authors and foreign authors.
