A Study on the Adoption of the FRBR According to the Bibliographic Relationships of Five Classics and Four Books (사서오경의 서지적 관계 특성에 따른 FRBR 적용에 관한 연구)

  • This paper provides a brief overview of bibliographic relationships, a analysis of bibliographic relationships' characteristics of 2,940 bibliographic records on the Five Classics and Four Books taken from Korean National Bibliography, and a methodology for applying the FRBR model based on analysis of the samples. As results of analysis, the work type ranked high particularly in the commentary, translation with notes, and translation on the original works etc. I suggested adopting conception of supper works, that is, family of works and using uniform title as a connective device between the works, that is, an authorized access point of RDA to apply FRBR model of the Five Classics and Four Books. Also I exemplified the description of uniform title in 630 field as subject added entry.

A Study on the Utility of FRBR Model in Korean Bibliographic Record (한국어 서지레코드에 있어 FRBR 모형의 유용성에 관한 연구)

  • IFLA's FRBR model is a significant contribution to cataloging on both theoretical and practical grounds. This paper provides a brief overview of FRBR, a methodology for applying the FRBR work concept to a random sample of 1,000 bibliographic records taken from Korean National Bibliographic, and estimates of the number of works in Korean National Bibliographic and their associated characteristics, based on analysis of the sample. FRBR model can be applied to 16.9% of all works in Korean National Bibliographic. Results suggest that the majority of benefits associated with applying FRBR to Korean National Bibliographic could be obtained by concentrated on a relatively small number of complex works.

  • Surge Protective Device(SPD) is installed by increasing information and communication equipments and home network equipments by individual home, and the amount of SPD used is increasing by revision industry regulations and strengthening equipotential grounding system. Parts of SPD installed in residential distribution board has ZnO varistor, voltage constraint type devices, but it is exposed to Temporary Overvoltage Characteristic. This thesis analyzes products through Thermal Stability test for SPD for general house and suggests the better method. As results of analysis, Gas Discharge Tube(GDT) to cut off from a leakage current and more than two kinds of safety devices to protect Thermal Runaway were needed.

BIBFRAME Model for the Next Generation Bibliographic Description Format (차세대 서지 기술 형식으로서의 BIBFRAME 모형 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 웹 환경에 적합한 서지 기술을 위해 LC에서 개발한 BIBFRAME을 분석하고, BIBFRAME이 개방형 서지 데이터의 생성에 적합한지를 검토하였다. 그리고 BIBFRAME의 등장 배경 및 특징을 FRBR 모형과 비교하였다. 그 결과 BIBRAME은 1)서지 객체의 지적 내용과 물리 매체를 구분하고 있었는데, FRBR의 제1그룹보다 단순한 구조를 지니고 있었다. 2) 인명전거와 주제전거를 포함하는 넓은 개념으로 전거를 정의하고 있었으며, 서지데이터 작성자의 관점과 이용자의 관점을 함께 고려하였다. 3) 다양한 외부 데이터와의 연계 및 개별 도서관에 특화된 데이터를 추가할 수 있는 주석 개념을 도입하였다. BIBFRAME은 MARC 레코드에서 변환하거나 직접적으로 서지데이터를 작성하는 방안이 모두 가능하며, 웹 환경에 적합하다고 판단된다.

  • 지적 구조 분석을 위해서 계량서지적 자료를 시각적으로 표현하는 다양한 네트워크 형성 방식에 대해서 사례와 함께 각각의 특성을 살펴보았다. 동시인용을 비롯한 계량서지적 자료의 시각적인 표현은 지적구조의 분석에 있어서 매우 효과적인 방법으로 인식되어왔다. 시각화를 위해서는 전통적으로 다차원척도법이나 군집분석, 대응일치분석 등의 다변량통계 분석 기법이 사용되어왔다. 최근 들어 패스파인더 네트워크를 비롯한 새로운 네트워크 형성 기법이 전통적인 기법의 대체 도구로 제시되고 있으나, 사실상 네트워크의 형태로 지적 구조를 분석하는 것은 인용분석 연구의 초기부터라고 할 수 있다. 다양한 네트워크 형성 방식의 특성에 대해서 살펴봄으로써 계량서지적 분석을 활성화하는데 도움이 되리라고 기대한다.

  • New concept of bibliographic data and its scheme are needed to accommodate a change resulting from the emergence of new forms of electronic publishing, and the advent of networked access to information resources. FRBR model was developed for defining functions performed by the bibliographic data with respect to various media, various applications, and various user needs. Several institutions including OCLC and RLG or vendors have tried to implement the FRBR on OPAC systems. The purpose of this study is to propose the strategies for developing bibliographic interface based the FRBR model. This study is to review the representative FRBRized systems and compare the systems regarding on search interface and display interface.

  • 최근 특정 주제의 지적 구조를 파악하기 위한 저자 동시인용분석, 동시단어분석, 서지결합법 등 계량정보분석에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우 계량정보분석 기법을 활용한 정보 유통 프레임웍을 갖추고 있는 연구기관이나 대학이 아직 없는 실정이다. 그 이유는 특허나 과학문헌에 대한 인용정보를 보유한 곳이 없고, 거대 인용정보 행렬을 계산하기 위한 컴퓨팅 자원을 확보하지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 미국 특허 데이터베이스를 대상으로 인용 피인용 행렬을 생성한 후, 클러스터 컴퓨터를 사용하여 동시인용과 서지결합빈도를 계산하고 그 결과를 이용자에게 제공하는 정보 유통 서비스 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

A Study on the Bibliographic Characteristics of Most-cited Articles - Focusing on the Domestic Social Science Field - (피인용 최상위 학술논문의 서지적 특성에 관한 연구 - 국내 사회과학 분야를 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify bibliographic characteristics of the top level articles among KCI indexed academic articles. Unlike the existing analysis on citation and most-cited articles, this study analyzed their bibliographic characteristics. The 3,453 articles were collected from 17 social science fields in KCI. The characteristics of authors, institutions, publications, journals, and citations were analyzed. According to the result of the analysis, there was a difference in the ratio of single authors to co-authors and in the number of co-authors. The authors were mostly single authors or two co-authors. In general, the percentage of authors of one article was high. Second, the types of institutions were mostly universities, and there were differences in the number of institutions with authors in each field. And the frequency of the authors' affiliation appeared uneven. There were a number of excellent research institutes and authors depending on the field. Third, the average of years to take to become the top articles for publication was 11 years in 2018. Fourth, most of the published journals were KCI registered journals, and the influence of the journals was not a factor. Fifth, there were differences in the number of cited counts between fields. This study is meaningful to grasp the influencing factors on the bibliographic characteristics of the most-cited articles for the social science field.

Extending Bibliographic Information Using Linked Data (링크드 데이터 방식을 통한 서지 정보의 확장에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, Linked Data was used for extending bibliographic data, because Linked Data provides shareable identifiers, data structures, and link information. Linked Data is especially efficient in expanding bibliographic data integrated with bibliographic ontology. Therefore, Linked Data and bibliographic ontologies were analyzed and available Linked Data was suggested. By linking between meta-data schemes, bibliographic data, and authority data, issues for the effective Linked Data sharing were suggested: 1) selecting proper Linked Data for each bibliographic organization, 2) linking between different Linked Data, and 3) developing their own Linked Data for each bibliographic organization.

Design and Fabrication of a Surge Impedance Meter (서지임피던스 측정기의 설계 및 제작)

  • Ground systems flow fault currents into the ground, and suppress Ground Potential Rise (GPR) by the current. In this paper, we designed and fabricated a surge impedance meter to analyze the ground impedance in wide frequency ranges. The meter consists of a surge generator, a high speed sample/hold (S/H) circuit and an associated electronics. The surge generator produces surge voltage up to 5kV in ranges of $50\sim500ns$. Field tests were carried out to evaluate the surge impedance meter at a driven-rod ground system. The results showed that surge impedance of ground systems should be measured by various fast surge waveforms, since the impedance increases as the rise time of applied voltage increases.
