A Study on the Development and Operation Strategies of Services for Multicultural Families in Libraries (다문화가정을 위한 도서관의 서비스 개발과 운영 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The study aims at presenting the development and management strategies of programs and services for multicultural families in libraries. The study proposed the principles and directions for the multicultural services which fit into certain types of libraries. The study also stated that principles and directions of these services should be adopted under a national initiative framework. The study examined multicultural services in domestic libraries. The study analyzed them by patterns, and described service programs that were exemplary. The study intended to aid in finding the appropriate management strategies for muticultural services in Korean libraries in the future.

  • Since 2000, Korean Society has developed social service program, facing the increasing social needs. With the semi-public goods' factor, social service has shown the original limitation in the private market. This paper analyses social services for children and older citizens in 6 metro cities, exploring the current condition and limitation. Program were collected through research institute and metro city's social service support groups. Analysis shows that most cities have similar programs without reflecting regional specialty. Therefore, the diverse and expanded supply of social services, professional service providers, reflection of regional specialty, easier accessibility of services are suggested. More participation of users in the process of program decision-making process and networking of service providers are also proposed.

  • 본 논문은 개방형 IPTV 서비스를 위한 서비스 생성도구에 대한 것으로, 웹 서비스 기반의 컴포넌트를 기본단위로 GUI(Graphic User Interface) 상에서 각각의 컴포넌트를 조합하여 IPTV 융합 서비스를 생성하는 서비스 생성환경 제공방법에 대해 소개한다. 개방형 IPTV 플랫폼에서는 방송제어, 통신제어, 웹 콘텐츠 제어, 정보 제어 기능 등을 웹 서비스 기반의 Open API 로 제공하고 있으며, 서비스 생성도구는 개방형 IPTV 플랫폼에서 제공하는 Open API 를 컴포넌트로 하여 컴포넌트들을 조합하고 연결하기 위한 GUI 환경인 그래픽 에디터, 그래픽 에디터에서 완성한 서비스 로직에 대한 서비스 프로그램 코드를 생성하기 위한 코드 생성기, 서비스 프로그램을 컴파일하고, 컴파일이 완료된 서비스 프로그램을 디플로이하는 서비스 디플로이어로 구성된다.

The Revitalization of Public Library Reading Through Special Quality Service Program Development (공공도서관 특화서비스 프로그램 개발을 통한 독서활성화 방안)

  • For the public library reading revitalization in this study it is to review program development examples which is differentiated by own library from the existing reading education and reading program. Based on the specialized program examples it intended suggesting a method of reading revitalization, after reviewing enlarged specialized function in the existing public library function, and analyzing related the reading activity status concerning with Seoul city public library, 'One Library One Book Reading' activity and U. S. A public library. Also, this study suggested future public library reading revitalization through the specialized quality service program development and construction related reading.

  • This study statistically verified the service quality factors(book&contents, writer&manpower, service support, facility&environment of the program) that affect the satisfaction of 'One Library, One Book' program, and the influence relationship of satisfaction on the intention to use focused on the Jgu Public Library in Seoul. As a result, first, the service quality factors that have a statistically significant positive(+) effect on the satisfaction of the program were found to be the book&content, author&manpower factors of the program. Second, it was shown that the satisfaction of the program had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on the intention to use. The results of this study can be used as useful basic data to improve the quality of the 'One Library, One Book' program in public libraries in Korea in the future.

  • The operation of the theater's seasonal program is an important service for the stability of theater management and audience development. However, the domestic theater season system has been around for 20 years, but still has not been established in practice compared to overseas theaters, and academic research is also lacking. Therefore, in this study, the government wanted to draw out elements of 'season system' program services and additional services provided by domestic and foreign theaters, and to calculate the importance of each attribute to suggest a plan to operate a seasonal service suitable for the actual conditions in Korea. Thus, through the analysis of seven theater seasonal programs, a study model consisting of two higher, seven median and 23 lower factors was derived. Based on this survey, 14 theater experts were asked to compare the priorities of each factor. Studies have shown that the composition of packages and works in program services is important, and that monetary factors are important in additional services. In other words, an important element in the seasonal system is judged to be the need to upgrade program services and selectively operate a small number of additional services with large audience needs to attract audiences.

  • The study aims at understanding current states and problems for multi-cultural families in libraries. The study examined multicultural services in Korean libraries as well as overseas. The study analyzed library services and education problems of multicultural families based on multicultural model, assimilationist model, and differential exclusionary model. The study surveyed multi-cultural services librarians and educators as well as immigrants and children who have participated in multicultural problems, and finally analyzed problems and requirements of programs for multicultural families.

  • 최근 디지털 TV 방송의 활성화에 힘입어 수많은 채널을 통한 TV 프로그램 방송이 가능하게 되었다. 이로 인해 디지털 TV 시청자들은 신문 또는 TV 가이드와 같은 기존 인쇄매체를 통해 자신이 원하는 TV 프로그램 스케줄을 얻기가 사실상 매우 어렵게 되었다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 디지털 TV 환경에서는 전자 프로그램 가이드(EPG: Electronic Program Guide)를 제공한다. 현재 제공되고 있는 EPG 서비스들은 대개 디지털 TV 화면 또는 각 방송사 웹 사이트 그리고 이동 단말기 등을 통해서 서비스 되고 있다. 대부분의 기존 연구들은 EPG 정보를 화면상에 시각적으로 제공하는 측면에만 초점을 두고 있다. 하지만 실질적으로 사용자 입장에서는 원하는 방송 프로그램의 스케줄 정보를 찾기 위해서 수백 채널에 달하는 방송 프로그램에 대한 정보를 일일이 검색하는 것은 매우 힘든 일이다. 게다가 사용자가 원하는 키워드를 직접 입력하는 방식 또한 사용자를 매우 번거롭게 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 EPG 서비스 방식에 VoiceXML 관련 기술을 접목하여 이동 단말기상에서 간단한 음성입력을 통해 EPG 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 음성 인터페이스를 제안한다.

  • TV 시청 도중 세컨드 디바이스로 멀티태스킹하는 시청패턴과 더불어 방송과 시청자가 상호작용하는 양방향 서비스 요구사항의 증대에 따라 KBS는 시청자 참여 서비스를 위한 티벗 서비스 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 티벗 서비스 플랫폼은 모바일에 특화된 시청자 방송 참여 서비스 플랫폼을 지향한다. 이러한 티벗 서비스 플랫폼 개발 결과의 핵심은 '손쉬운 시청자 참여 서비스 적용 프로그램 확대'가 가능하다는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 시청자 참여 서비스 플랫폼인 티벗이 더욱 강화된 참여 서비스를 위해 사용자와 제작자의 요구를 반영하여 개선한 기능을 제안한다. 제안한 기능은 시청자와 소통하는 최근 제작 트렌드에 맞추어 TV 프로그램 제작에의 활용성과 시청자의 편의성을 개선시켰다. 또한, 개선된 기능을 적용한 방송 프로그램 사례에 대해 살펴본다.

Relationship between program value, service quality, and satisfaction of parents participating in adapted physical activity (특수체육활동프로그램 참여 부모의 프로그램 가치, 서비스품질, 만족도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study verified the relationship between parents' perception of program value, service quality, and service satisfaction who participate in special sports activities. For this a survey was conducted with parents participating in the program at welfare facilities and private institutions in the metropolitan area. The survey was directly visited by the researcher, and 236 copies of data were collected and used for analysis. For the collected data, the causal relationship was verified through descriptive statistics, factor analysis and reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the following conclusions were obtained. First, it showed a significant influence in tangibility, reliability, empathy, and guarantee in the relationship between program value perception and service quality. Second, in the relationship between program value perception and service satisfaction, significant influence was shown on user satisfaction and performance satisfaction. Third, in the relationship between service quality and service satisfaction, it showed a significant influence on user satisfaction and performance satisfaction.
