The Effects of Internal Market Orientation on Service Providers' adaptive service behavior : Serial Multiple Mediation Effects of Person-Environment Fit and Work Engagement (내부시장 지향성이 서비스 제공자의 적응적 서비스 행동에 미치는 영향: 개인-환경 적합성과 직무열의의 연속다중매개효과)

  • This study sought to examine how internal market orientation of service organizations affects the service providers' adaptive service behavior and to determine what psychological processes go through for this purpose. To achieve this purpose, based on previous research, a research model was set up to predict that internal market orientation of service organizations will increase service providers' adaptive service behavior by continuously mediating the psychological processes of person-environment fit and work engagement. To test the hypothesis, a survey was conducted and data were collected from nutritionists at consignment catering companies located in Busan and Gyeongnam. As a result of testing the hypotheses proposed in this study's research model, internal market orientation increased person-job fit and person-organization fit, which are key elements of person-environment fit. And, it was confirmed that person-job fit and person-organization fit have a positive effect on work engagement. Additionally, work engagement improved service providers' adaptive service behavior. Lastly, this study confirmed that the influence of internal market orientation on adaptive service behavior is continuously mediated by person-environment fit and job enthusiasm.

  • 이 연구에서는 "민간기업의 정보화에 소요되는 자원을 제공하여 수혜기업의 경영성과와 이를 통한 연관산업의 경쟁력 증대를 도모하는 정보화 분야의 정책적인 기업지원서비스"를 "기업지원 정보 서비스"로 정의하고, 기존 공급자 중심의 사업목표 달성여부의 평가를 위한 평가지표 개발연구에서 벗어나, 중장기적 관점에서 기업지원 정보서비스 활용요인과 성과에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서비스 활용요인을 기업지원서비스 품질(정보, 서비스, 시스템)과 조직특성(정보기술자원의 성숙도, 조직문화)차원으로, 기업성과 차원을 정보 지향성(Information Orientation)개념과 경영성과 요인으로 구성하여 기업지원 정보서비스의 활용과 기업 성과의 영향관계 살펴보고자 하였다. 실증연구는 산업정보지원센터의 서비스를 활용하고 있는 186개의 기업체 표본을 수집하여, 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석한 결과 설정한 모든 경로가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 특히 서비스 품질과 조직문화가 활용수준에 큰 효과를 보이고 있으며, 정보지향성이 경영성과를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과는 정보화 분야의 기업지원 서비스 정책 수립 방향과 개별기업의 전략적 정보 기술 활용을 위한 주요한 시사점을 주고 있다.

Relation of Market Orientation and Organizational Performance in Nonprofit Human Service Organization toward Social Service Marketization (사회서비스 시장화에 따른 비영리 사회복지조직의 시장지향성과 조직성과 관계 연구)

  • This study is to experientially verify that market orientation affect organizational performance toward social service marketization. social service marketization put pressure upon financial environment in nonprofit human service organizations and exacerbate competition between nonprofit human service organizations and profit organizations each other. For survival, nonprofit human service organizations in social service market where various supply organization participate needs sensitivity to the environment. For this purpose the need of introduction of market orientation is being raised. At this point this study is useful that measure the level of market orientation and analysis impact of market orientation toward organizational performance in nonprofit human service organizations. Data was collected from busan nonprofit human service organizations in participate voucher program, number of total organization is 92. The level of market orientation was 3.63. Analysis of the impact of market orientation to organizational performance used regression analysis through structural equation modelling. As a result of the analysis, market orientation was affected by organizational performance. Based on the results, this study suggests that nonprofit human service organizations should need market orientation centered organization management and sensitive response toward external environment.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship among logistics service quality, relationship-orientation for on-line shopping malls, customer satisfaction and repurchase intention in on-line shopping malls. Based on extensive review of relevant literature, nine components of logistics service quality and six components of relationship orientation are introduced in this study. And a conceptual model is developed and four research hypotheses are empirically examined using structural equation modeling. The findings indicate that logistics service quality is positively and significantly associated with customer satisfaction, and relationship- orientation is the antecedent variable of repurchase intention in the on-line shopping mall. In conclusion, it is revealed that logistics service quality and relationship-orientation play a major role in the success of on-line shopping mall.

  • This research has the goal of model presentation which explains the mediating role of the salespeople-related variables(customer orientation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment) and the customer-related variables(service quality, service value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty) on the market orientation's effect on the performance. We collected survey data from 152 shop managers working in the department-store. In the result of final analysis, all 12 hypotheses are supported with statistically significance. The market orientation of firm increases the salespeople-related variables(customer orientation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment), and the salespeople-related variables increase the customer-related variables(service quality, service value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty). Finally, customer loyalty increases the performance. This research has the contribution of explanation which shows the mediating role of the salespeople-related variables(customer orientation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment) and the customer-related variables(service quality, service value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty) on the market orientation's effect on the performance. According to the result of this research, firms have to focus on the market orientation and understand the role of salespeople-related variables and customer-related variables on the process between the market orientation and the performance.

  • Humanity has reached the age of service economy. A new economy requires new management. The chief executive of new management is the CEO. The results of management decision-making are reflected in the company's performance, and are the basis for future growth engines. This study empirically analyzed the effect of CEO competence, corporate orientation, and management performance of small and medium-sized mid-sized business managers on each other. In the study, a hypothesis was established between eight variables. In addition, the relationship between corporate orientation and CEO competency, which has not been studied, was also identified. Set personal effectiveness, willingness to innovate, opportunity recognition, information perception, relationship formation, business management, leadership, organizational culture, and human resource management as measures of CEO competency. After defining the operation in accordance with this study, the analysis was conducted. As a result of the analysis, corporate orientation did not produce a meaningful result in management performance. And CEO competency showed a positive (+) effect on management performance. It can be judged that the CEO variable, a management variable, had a positive effect on management performance. Also, there was a significant result in the relationship between corporate orientation and CEO competency. Innovativeness, initiative, and risk-taking have positive implications for CEO competency. Lastly, corporate orientation showed statistically significant results on management performance through the mediation of CEO competency. It is worth noting the results of this study in that the time of the study was the timing of the global pandemic (fendermic) of the COVID19 virus. In the future, in-depth research is needed on the relationship between CEO-related factors and management performance in a more changed economic environment.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 창업보육센터 입주기업 CEO의 기업가정신 및 시장지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 창업보육센터 지원서비스의 활용정도를 통해 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울권에 위치한 창업보육 센터를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 얻어진 연구 결과를 분석하고 창업보육센터 입주기업의 지원서비스 활용정도가 경영성과에 어느 정도 영향을 미치고, 입주기업의 지원 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Today, researches on logistics service quality or supply chain management are highlighted due to intensification of competition and diversification of needs for customer service. This study have done a comparative analysis on supply chain partnership members' perception difference about importance of logistics service quality factors. It measured perception about logistics service quality which suppliers, carriers, and buyers regard as important and then conducted t-test in order to compare perception difference. It was found that quality factors of logistic service which suppliers, carriers, and buyers in supply chain partnership perceive as important were different. And disagreements among members were found in most items when market orientation and long term orientation was low while there was no difference among most members when market orientation and long term orientation was high.

  • This study empirically examined the educational needs according to career orientations of IT service technical engineers. First, this study suggested 5 types of career orientations in IT service technical engineers. Seconds, we considered the individual level's variables(age, academic background) and job characteristics(job type, work experience, organizational size, years of service) as the influential factors of IT service technical engineers' career orientations. Finally, this study examined the educational needs according to 5 types of career orientations of IT service technical engineers. The results, based on the survey 133 IT service technical engineers, showed that both individual and job characteristic variables had significant effects on 5 types of career orientations. And 5 types of career orientations had significant effects on the educational needs.

  • This paper is investigate the relations on the market orientation, service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in hotel restaurant. The research findings support that there are significant factors of market orientation between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in hotel restaurant. That is, if hotel restaurant employees perceive a hotel restaurant to have high market orientation, they will have greater service quality. The greater the customer satisfaction of the hotel restaurant employees, the greater customer loyalty. It implies that hotel restaurant should have a great interest in internal marketing.
