Audience and Media Predictors for Digital Content Purchases: A Multilevel Approach (디지털 콘텐츠 구매를 위한 고객 및 미디어 요인: 다층수준 접근 방식)

  • Previous studies on willingness to pay for digital content have mainly focused on audience factors and individual level. To complement the limitation of previous research, this study conducts a multilevel analysis to find the factors influence digital content purchases considering two axes: audience/media factors and individual/household levels. Using a sample of 10,172 individuals within 4,313 households, the analysis results show individual media factors including theater-going, experience with cloud services, and multi-screen service usage have the greatest effects on digital content purchases. At the household level, the media ownership factors that the number of laptops, wireless routers, and tablets have a greater influence than audience factors such as household size or household income. Our findings help scholars to enhance the understanding of individuals' media use considering household environmental factors and shed light on the importance of multi-screen service usage, and content providers to improve their digital content sales using multi-screen environment.

  • Service-oriented computing, the effective paradigm for developing service applications by using reusable services, becomes popular. In service-oriented computing, service consumer has no responsibility for managing services, just invokes services what service providers are producing. On the other hand, service providers should manage any resources and data for service consumers can use the service anytime and anywhere. However, it is hard service providers manage the quality of the services because an unspecified number of service consumers. Therefore, service scalability for providing services with higher quality of services specified in a service level agreement becomes a potential problem in service-oriented computing. There have been many researches for scalability in network, database, and distributed computing area. But a research about a definition of service scalability and metrics of measuring service scalability is still not mature in service engineering area. In this paper, we construct a service network which connects multiple service nodes, and integrate all the resources to manage it. And we also present a service scalability framework for managing service scalability by using a mechanism of service migration or replication. In section 3, we, firstly, present the structure of the scalability management framework and basic functionalities. In section 4, we propose scalability enhancement mechanism which is needed to release functionality of the framework. In section 5, we design and implement the framework by using proposed mechanism. In section 6, we demonstrate the result of our case study which dynamically manages services in multi-nodes environment by applying our framework. Through the case study, we show the applicability of our scalability management framework and mechanism.

  • The purpose of this study is to raise the importance of information literacy programs for professional secretaries and to present guidelines for organizing them. While the level of projects in secretaries' information service is defined as an influencing factor to the necessity of information literacy programs, the level of scholarships or secretarial science as a major is not. An analysis on education needs of secretaries recommended that curriculum should be composed of 15 topics such as: meta search engines, special search engines, boolean operators, digital libraries, usenet, information centers, internet reference sources, SDI, topic search request, document delivery service, e-journals, commercial databases, fulltext service, search strategy and general search engines.

  • Based on the successful use of chatbot technology, this study examined what business values each company is creating. The chatbot service contributes to improving the productivity of the company by helping to answer or respond to the questions of employees inside the company or customers. And in the field of education, Instead of instructor, AI technology responds the questions and feedback of the students to reduce the work of the instructor. In the field of commerce, offline stores provide convenient and new purchasing experiences to customers by providing product purchasing services through artificial intelligence speakers and personalization service. Although chatbot service is creating business value in some business cases, it is still limited to the process of a specific company, and the spread rate is still slowing because the service scope, convenience, and usefulness are not greater than expected. Therefore, some chatbot development service providers is providing an integrated development platform to improve usability, Chatbots have the features and advantages of providing convenience instead of answering human questions. However, there is a disadvantage that the level of communication can be lowered by reducing various human subjective views and giving mainly objective answers. Through this study, we will discuss the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of chatbot services by comparing them.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 서비스는 환경 정보를 감지하고 그 정보를 바탕으로 대상 사용자에게 서비스를 제공해준다. 이때, 수행되는 서비스는 사용자로부터 명시적인 요청을 받아 수행되는 것이 아니라, 주어진 상황을 기반으로 자동으로 수행되는 것이기 때문에, 이 서비스가 사용자가 정말 원하는 서비스인가를 판단하는 것은 서비스를 수행하는 시스템에 대한 신뢰도 평가에 중요한 기준이 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사용자의 의도에 맞는 서비스 수행을 보장하기 위해, 서비스에 대한 사용자의 만족도를 평가하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 OCC 감정 모델을 기반으로 사용자의 서비스 만족도를 계산하고, 이 결과를 통해 사용자의 의도와 서비스의 수행 조건을 일치시킨다. 만족도 계산 작업의 자동화를 통해 서비스의 수행 조건은 사용자의 의도 변화에 따라 동적으로 변경 가능하고, 이를 통해 사용자는 시스템에 대한 하위수준의 조정 작업 없이 자신의 행동 변화만으로 서비스의 실행 조건을 변경시킬 수 있다.

웹 저장공간 임대서비스의 사용자 만족 결정요인 연구

  • 인터넷과 정보기술의 발전은 디지털 자료에 대한 저장방식에 변화를 가져왔으며 이것은 인터넷 웹 저장공간 임대서비스라는 새로운 비즈니스 유형을 창출시켰다. 사이버 저장 공간 및 자료를 상호 공유 할 수 있는 점과 고가의 저장 매체를 소유할 필요가 없다는 장점으로 웹 저장공간 임대서비스 서비스의 수요가 급증하고 있으며, 이러한 서비스에 대한 체계적인 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷 웹 저장공간 임대서비스가 사용자에게 정보 저장 공간을 대여해주는 서비스라는 개념하에, 사용자 만족을 이끌 수 있는 웹 저장공간 임대서비스 특성에 대해 실증연구를 수행하였다. 연구의 결과는 사용자의 만족에 영향을 미치는 웹 저장공간 임대서비스의 서비스 품질은 유형성과 신뢰성, 대응성 요인으로 나타났다. 따라서 웹 저장공간 임대서비스를 제공하는 기업은 서비스에 대한 시각적인 디자인과 사이트의 기술수준을 높이고, 사이트 구조에 대해 사용자 측면에서 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 구성하여야 할 필요가 있다. 또한 사용자가 신뢰할 수 있도록 개인 정보 및 공유 자료의 보안성 및 보유정보의 체계화에 비중을 두어야 한다. 마지막으로 사용자들의 요구사항에 즉각 대응할 수 있도록 정보전달 채널을 강화할 필요가 있음을 지적하였다.

  • IT is the information in government/public policy and technological trends in the industry's R&D has a direct impact on its investment decision making of the very important information. Due to the nature of the information in this technical trend because essential information on open public data the technology by government departments and public institutions that are responsible for producing, on an ongoing basis. In this paper, it was confirmed through the experiment that the method and the possibility to integrate the technology trend information provided by the various agencies can be diagnosed as a maturity level. Also we propose a data collection and processing, storage, optimized service for technical maturity of diagnostic methods. The proposed method determines the overall system configuration and service data ITFIND overall maturity level diagnosis is enabled by leveraging the collected. In addition, through the compensation is considered to be able to proceed to a more accurate diagnostic level.

Analysis of Park Service Levels through Quantitative and Qualitative Evaluation of Urban Parks - Dong areas of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province - (도시공원의 양적·질적 평가를 통한 공원서비스 수준 분석 - 제주특별자치도 동지역을 중심으로 -)

  • Urban parks create the natural landscape of the city and offer a space for city residents to stay healthy and take a rest. They are also urban facilities designed to improve city dwellers' emotional aspects. Currently, urban parks need qualitative management as well as quantitative supply due to changes in the national land and urban policy paradigm, and a shift in perspective to consumer-centeredness is needed. In this study, the service levels of urban parks for citizen were evaluated: (1) quantitative supply adequacy was analyzed based on the urban population, and (2) the qualitative evaluation of the parks were conducted. Based on the evaluation, the appropriateness of the arrangement of urban parks is judged by comprehensively analyzing the quantitative and qualitative aspects. As a result of the evaluation of service levels of urban parks, the highest serviced urban parks were found in urban housing development sites and recently established parks. In addition, it was found that the recently created parks improved the qualities of the parks by installing various facilities. If the quantitative and qualitative aspects of urban park service supply are comprehensively analyzed and applied through this research method, it will be a more effective park and green space plan.

Queueing Network Model for Large-scale Multimedia -On-Demand Service Systems with Unreliable Components (결함 발생을 고려한 대규모 주문형 멀티미디어 서비스 시스템의 큐잉 네트워크 모델)

  • 멀티미디어 서비스환경에서는 수백에서 수천의 클라이언트들이 하나의 서버에 접속되기 때문에 서버 결합이 미치는 영향이 상당히 크다. 이러한 결함은 단지 서버 자체의 장애로 끝나는 것이 아니라 그로 인해 서비스 제공자들에게 유형.무형의 막대한 재산상의 피해를 가져올수 있다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 서버를 구성하고 있는 자원(프로세서, 디스크, 네트워크)의 결함 발생을 고려한 큐잉 네트워크 모델을 개발하였다. 복수개의 M/M/1 큐를 큐잉 네트워크로 연결하여, 각 자원에 대한 접근 및 서비스를 모델링하였으며, 각 자원에서의 서비스 시간 지연 비율(큐의 응답시간)의 조정을 통해서, 서버 자원의 결함 발생을 고려하였다. 고객 도착률과 자원 고장률 변동에 대한 서버 자원의 이용률과 큐의 길이를 구하여 효율적인 시스템 구성 자원의 부분별 용량을 산정하였으며 , 또한 데이터 패킷 응답 시간 분포 및 고장률 변화에 따른 시스템의 신뢰도 수준을 계산하였다. 이와 같은 서비스 시스템 성능에 관련된 파라미터 분석을 통하여 멀티미디어 데이터 서비스 수준 (Quality of Service)에 중요한 영향을 미치는 서버 설계 요소를 파악하였고, 시뮬레이터 패키지를 활용한 모의 실험을 통하여 개발된 큐잉 네트워크 모델의 정확성을 검증하였다.

  • With the development of web 2.0 and the rapid diffusion of smart devices, current web service, which only provides very limited information and service, has been transformed into user-friendly and comprehensive web service called mash-up service. Mash-up service is defined as comprehensive service that is created by combining variety of web services. When composing a mesh-up service, Open API is used as web service interface. Current mash-up service, however, has fundamental problem in that it could not satisfy the various needs of users who want I-centric personalized service because it is developed and provided by service developers. To overcome these obstacles, a lot of studies on mesh-up framework are being performed for improving mash-up proess though, it is still in beginning stage. In this paper, we introduce an API selection and compostion method as the key technology for mesh-up framework that support the automatic creation of mesh-up service.
