The Related Research Issues and the Suggestion of the Radical Services Innovation Process Models in the Service Firms (기업수준에서의 급변적 서비스 혁신 프로세스 모형과 관련 연구 이슈 탐색)

  • In the services industry and firms, the successful new service development is very important issue today, But the innovation process for service firms is comprehensively little treated until now. This study was performed to suggest the new service development process model for the firms level in the perspective of the radical service innovation. So, in this paper the new process development model can be made by reviewing the concepts about the radical service innovation and by analyzing the some existing new service development process models. In the suggested service development process model, the three key process such as technology forecast, market analysis, and strategy development were included for front phase activity as the new service development process. Also the four key process for searching phase, and the other three key process for implementation phase were included. And for the application for the service firms' service innovation, the innovation's outcome estimation reference model is included. I hope to be executed the various case research and the improvement and optimization for this suggested process model in the future.

  • 컴포넌트 기반 개발 프로세스는 그 동안의 구조적 분석/설계 기법과 정보공학, 객체지향 등의 공학적 분석기술을 수용하고 있다. 따라서 CBD를 적용하려는 조직은 다양한 소프트웨어 공학적 기법과 아키텍처 설계 기술들을 습득해야 하였다. 또한 CBD의 핵심 역량인 반복적 개발 프로세스와 아키텍처 설계 역량을 갖추기 위해 각 개발업체 들은 CBD기술의 도입초기에 상당한 혼돈과 어려움을 겪어야 했다. 이에 본 논문에서는 CBD를 조직차원에서 습득하고 적용하는 과정을 5개의 단계로 나누고 각 단계의 목표를 설정한 컴포넌트 개발 프로세스 성숙도 모형을 제시한다. CDMM(Component based Development capability Maturity Model)으로 명명한 본 개발 능력 성숙도 모형은 소프트웨어 개발조직이 CBD를 습득하기 위해 어떤 단계를 거쳐야 하는지 또한 컴포넌트 개발을 위한 핵심기술이 어떤 것들인지를 제시한다. 이는 향후 CBD를 확산시키고 컴포넌트 기술을 통한 생산성향상과 소프트웨어 개발비 절감을 위해 기업과 국가의 정책적 지표로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근 들어 CMM, SPICE 등 국제적 소프트웨어 프로세스 심사 및 개선 모형이 국내 SI업계 및 SW개발 기업들에 널리 활용되고 있다. 이러한 평가모형은 초기에 프로세스의 능력평가를 위해 이용되었으나 프로세스 개선을 통한 기업의 경쟁력 강화에 대한 효용성이 입증되면서 점진적으로 프로세스 개선활동의 핵심적 방법으로 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 소프트웨어 프로세스 향상이 조직성과에 미치는 효과에 대해 실증적 자료를 토대로 분석한다.

The Role of Service Concept in the Service Development Process (서비스 디자인 프로세스에서의 서비스 컨셉의 역할)

  • In this study, the service concept was explained, which could be applied to the development process of new service in service design specially. The service concept has the important role in decision making in the service planning stage as to the new strategic service development or service remodelling. This service concept is very useful for customized operational planning or service recovery through the combination of various service element, and for reviewing the possibility of service's success as of customer's acceptance related to business model throughout the service concept test. Finally, in this study, some models are suggested that the service development model including the service concept, also the test model about service concept in the process of service development.

  • The study aims to derive major factors from the results of needs analysis to develop the reference service model and guidelines at the national level. The literature review and case study enabled investigation of the considerations to develop the reference service model and guidelines. The Needs Analysis revealed librarians' and users' needs about the reference service. The major factors and implications derived from the analysis suggest the directions of the National-level reference service model and guidelines development process. This study has significance because it presented the implications and the development process of the reference service model and guidelines for domestic libraries, and directly contributed to the development of the reference service model and guidelines for the National Library of Korea.

  • Information system operation principles were recently established in order to provide high quality service and efficient operation audit of IT outsourcing. Operation managements are done based on these principles. Therefore, information operating management process, which refers to itself, is established. Information system operation audit requires a constant audit regularly, which is different from construction/development audit that is done only once. As operating management process changes, operation audit guidelines should be updated and improved. Therefore, this paper proposes IT outsourcing operation audit model with IT outsourcing achievement management as a focus. IT service domain was referred in order to propose information system operation audit model and check lists, which are based on IT outsourcing operation managements such as planning, making strategies, contract, service, and management. The deduced audit model and check lists verified suitability of the proposed model by experts' survey.

Real-time Estimation on Service Completion Time of Logistics Process for Container Vessels (선박 물류 프로세스의 실시간 서비스 완료시간 예측에 대한 연구)

  • Logistics systems provide their service to customers by coordinating the resources with limited capacity throughout the underlying processes involved to each other. To maintain the high level of service under such complicated condition, it is essential to carry out the real-time monitoring and continuous management of logistics processes. In this study, we propose a method of estimating the service completion time of key processes based on process-state information collected in real time. We first identify the factors that influence the process completion time by modeling and analyzing an influence diagram, and then suggest algorithms for quantifying the factors. We suppose the container terminal logistics and the process of discharging and loading containers to a vessel. The remaining service time of a vessel is estimated using a decision tree which is the result of machine-learning using historical data. We validated the estimation model using container terminal simulation. The proposed model is expected to improve competitiveness of logistics systems by forecasting service completion in real time, as well as to prevent the waste of resources.

  • 다양한 소프트웨어개발 위험관리 분야의 연구들 중, 미국의 소프트웨어 회사들을 대상으로 한 Nidumolu의 논문에서는 표준화와 요구사항 불확실성이 잔여성과위험이라는 매개 변수를 통해서, 소프트웨어 개발프로세스와 제품 성과에 영향을 미친다는 결과를 발표하였다. 본 연구에서는 먼저, 개발도상국인 우리나라에서도 이러한 모형이 적용될 수 있는 지를 검정하였는데, 결론적으로 잔여성과 위험이라는 매개변수는 모형에서 의미가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 우리나라 소프트웨어 업체의 경우 성숙도가 상대적으로 낮아서, 프로젝트 관리자와 같은 개인의 능력에 성과가 영향을 받는 때문인 것으로 보인다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 차이의 원인에 대해서 논의하고, 나아가서 우리나라의 기업 환경에 적합한 새로운 모형을 제시하고자 한다.

A Study on the Development of Educational Services to Collaborate between Cultural Heritage Institutions (문화유산기관의 협업을 통한 교육서비스 개발에 관한 연구 - 기록관·도서관·박물관을 중심으로 -)

  • Traditionally, archives, libraries, and museums have been known to have common responsibilities in providing public service, despite of their differences in the nature of holdings. Recently, these institutions, which are keeping archival materials, increasingly collaborate with each other to provide effective integrated user service in educational programs. The study highlights the importance of collaboration among cultural institutions and analyzes the exemplary cases inside and outside Korea. By analyzing the current educational services conducted by the institutions, focusing on weaknesses and strengths, the authors mention that the analysis results can be referred to them when developing a model of educational services. Based on the analysis, this study finally offers a plan to activate the collaboration of cultural heritage institutions in Korea and develop a model for educational services using the ADDIE model.
