A Study of Perceived Value and Intention to Use for Car Sharing Service : Based on User Experiences Serviced by Seoul Car Sharing (차량공유 서비스에 대한 지각된 가치와 이용의향에 관한 연구 : 서울시 나눔카 서비스 이용자를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to deliver both market-practical and civil-centric political implication for sharing economy by investigating the nature of consumer-adoption for car-sharing service. With the global interest and market proliferation of the sharing economy, various service models for sharing idle resources have also been released in Korea. Particularly, in case of car sharing service, public - private partnership projects are spreading rapidly in various local governments including Seoul, along with the growing demand for alternative transportation system centering on the urban area. This study conducted an empirical study on the process of accepting the car sharing service by analyzing the data collected from users of the car sharing service "Sharing Car(Nanum Car)" of Seoul Metropolitan Government. A survey was conducted on 281 users in their twenties who are in the age of main use among the experienced users of the "Sharing Car(NaNum)" residing in Seoul. The result of analysis on the relationship between these users' perceived value and intention to use the vehicle sharing service would provide implications for establishing consumer(citizen)-centeric policies as well as market implications.

A Study on the Perceived Value and Intention of Use of Mobile Shopping Apps Using Value-Based Adoption Model (VAM) (가치기반수용모델(VAM)을 활용한 모바일 쇼핑 앱의 지각된 가치와 사용의도에 관한 연구)

  • As the spread of smartphones has become more common and the utilization rate has increased, the mobile shopping market is also growing and expectations for related industries are also increasing. Mobile shopping apps are converging with various industries such as fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and competition among companies to increase the number of users is intensifying with the activation of non-face-to-face. Accordingly, in this study, a study on the perceived value and intention to use mobile shopping apps was conducted based on a VAM. In order to test the hypothesis of this study, a questionnaire was conducted on 266 people who had used a mobile shopping app and it was used for analysis. Looking at the results, it was confirmed that both usefulness and enjoyment among the perceived benefit of mobile shopping apps have a positive (+) effect on the perceived value. However, it was found that the technicality and perceived risk among the perceived sacrifices of mobile shopping apps did not significantly affect the perceived value. Finally, it was confirmed that the perceived value of the mobile shopping app had a positive (+) effect on the intention to use. Through this study, we would like to examine the factors that can affect perceived value and usage intention in the mobile shopping app industry, which is increasingly competitive among companies along with the rapid growth of mobile technology and market, and suggest practical implications for related companies and officials to establish efficient strategies to further increase mobile shopping app users.

고령자들이 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 자문·일임서비스 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 특성 및 요인에 대한 연구

  • 최근 고령화로 인한 수명연장은 노후생활비용 부담의 가중을 통해 고령자들의 노후파산 가능성을 높이는 핵심 위협요인이 되고 있기 때문에 이를 위한 사적자산의 안정적, 장기적인 관리와 증식이 필수적이다. 자산관리 자문/일임 서비스를 이용하는 것은 이를 해결할 수 있는 좋은 대안이지만 과거에는 서비스 이용가능 대상이 대형 금융기관을 거래하는 거액자산가들로 국한되어 있었다. 그런데 최근 기술혁신과 더불어 플랫폼을 기반으로 하는 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 서비스가 빠른 속도로 대중화되고 있어, 이를 활용하면 보다 많은 고령자들이 자산관리에 대한 부담을 경감할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 이런 이유로 최근 주목받는 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 자문/일임 서비스에 대한 고령자들의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 특성 및 요인들을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기술수용이론 중 소비자가 얻는 혜택과 희생을 모두 고려하는 '가치기반수용모델(Value Based Model)'을 기본 모형으로 하되 웰스테크(디지털 자산관리) 자문/일임서비스의 특성을 고려하여 '가격효용성'을 혜택 요인에 추가하였다. 또한 고령자의 특성을 고려하여 희생 요인에 '인지된 위험'을, 별도의 요인으로 '사회적 영향'을 각각 추가하였다. 예상되는 연구결과로는 지각된 혜택에 해당하는 유용성, 즐거움, 가격효용성은 모두 인지된 가치에 유의한 (+)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 반면, 지각된 희생에 해당하는 기술성과 인지된 위험은 모두 인지된 가치에 유의한 (-)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 또한 추가변수인 사회적 영향은 인지된 가치에 유의한 (+)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다.

A Research on the Influences on the Intention to be Continuously Subscribed to the Pension Service -Centered on the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Science and Technology Pension (연금서비스의 지속가입의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 -중소기업 과학기술인연금을 중심으로)

  • With the scientists and the technicians of the small- and medium-sized enterprises who have been subscribing to the pension service as the subjects, this research took a look at the influences on the intention to continuously subscribe to the pension service and, finally, took a look at the differences between the subscribers of the safety type and the profit type which have been provided by the pension service. Through the questionnaire survey, which collected the data, an actual proof analysis was carried out. Through the statistical program, the degree of the reliability analysis and the feasibility analysis were carried out. And the degree of the suitability of the structural equation model was tested. And, finally, through the research model, the hypothesis was verified and the differences between the groups were analyzed. It appeared that the factors of the reliability and the responsiveness of the service quality factor have the positive influence on the perceived value, which is a parameter. And it appeared that the materiality and the perceptual openness factors cannot have any influence. And the stability and the usefulness, which are the attributed factors of the pension service, had the positive influences on the perceived value. Finally, it appeared that the perceived value of the pension service has a positive influence on the intention to subscribe continuously. Through the results of this research, it can contribute to the invigoration of the pension service. And it is thought that a pension service which is better than the preexistent pension service can be provided.

  • Under the stiff competition in the health care industry, the long run survival of medical institution depends on building up customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to figure out the influencing factors on customer loyalty. This new model is based on Bettman(1979)'s customer purchasing decision making process(awareness-interest-final decision). The key characteristics of this model reflects the psychological change of customer purchasing decision The influencing factor at each purchasing stage must need to be identified because the inner decision making process is generally carried out by multistage. In this respect, this study shows the brand awareness of hospital plays an important role at the first stage. In a second stage, the servciescape and service quality of hospital must be considered. Finally, customer's perceived value is adopted. By using a sample of 116 Chinese tourists, this study empirically examines the influencing factors of customer loyalty. The results that the brand awareness and perceived value have a positive effect on customer loyalty.

Brunch Cafe of Service Quality, Value Perception, and Customer Loyalty the Impact of Relationship (브런치 카페의 서비스품질, 가치지각, 고객충성도의 영향관계)

  • This study examined the factors that affect the relationship between service quality of brunch cafe, value perception and customer loyalty. A total of 225 questionnaires were distributed to the consumers, of which 210 were deemed suitable for the analysis after the removal of 15 unusable responses. In order to perform statistical analyses required in the study, SPSS 18.0 Statistical Program was employed for frequency analysis, factor analysis, and reliability analysis, correlations, regression analysis. The results of exploratory factor analysis showed that four factors regarding local specialties service quality were extracted from all measurements with a KMO of 0.823 and a total cumulative variance of 66.095%, With regard to value perception, Three factors were extracted with a total cumulative variance of 61.213% and a KMO score of 0.871. One factor for customer loyalty was extracted that accounted for a total cumulative variance of 64.054% and a KMO score of 0.845. All factors were significant at 0.000 and the correlation between variables was significant. Thus, based on the results, the main research hypothesis that identifies the relationship between value perception and customer loyalty was partially adopted.

Understanding Individual's Switching Intentions to Cloud Computing Service: Based on the Social Exchange Theory (개인 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스로의 전환의도에 관한 연구: 사회교환이론을 중심으로)

  • While the importance of adopting cloud computing service has been emerged, comparatively little research has been conducted on examining factors of an individual user's intention to switch toward cloud computing service. Hereafter, this study presents and empirically tests users' intention to switch to cloud computing. Our model posits that the characteristics of cloud computing such as effectiveness, economics, accessability, switching cost, security concern, and satisfaction toward existing IT service to cloud service affect perceived value, which in turn, influences intention to switch. An experimental study using student subjects provided empirical validation for our proposed model. Survey data from 204 respondents was used to test the model using partial least square analysis. As the result of the analysis, five hypotheses out of seven hypotheses were supported. According to our results, among the characteristics of cloud computing, effectiveness, economics, switching cost, and security concern were found to have significant impact on users' intention to switch that mediated by perceived value. Based on our research findings, we hope that this research will stimulate researchers' interest in the emerging area of cloud computing adoption.

The Influence of Store Images of Discount Stores on Shopping Values and Shopping Satisfaction: The Roles of Perceived Retail Crowding (대형마트의 점포이미지가 쇼핑가치 및 쇼핑만족에 미치는 영향: 지각된 혼잡의 역할)

  • Conceptualization of store image have been suggested in the past by many marketing scholars. The dominant perspective about store image is treated as the results of a multi-attribute model. Store image is expressed as a function of the salient attributes of a particular store that are evaluated. Though, there is a little confusions about what elements compose the store image, most scholars agree that merchandise, service, atmosphere, physical facilities, comfort, and location are generally accepted elements as store image. A considerable researches support that shopping can provide both hedonic and utilitarian value. Hedonic shopping value reflects the value received from fantasy and emotive aspects of shopping experience, while utilitarian shopping value reflects the acquisition of products. These two types of shopping value can affect shopping satisfaction. This study examines the relationships among stores images(store atmosphere, salespeople services, facilities, product assortment, and store location), shopping values(utilitarian shopping value and hedonic shopping value), and shopping satisfaction based on discount stores (E-Mart, Home plus, and Lotte Mart). The author hypothesized that five store image components affect shopping values, and these shopping values affect shopping satisfaction. The author focused on the roles of perceived retail crowding between these relationships. Specifically, the author hypothesized that perceived retailing crowding moderated the relationship between shopping values and shopping satisfaction. The author also hypothesized the direct effect of perceived retail crowding on shopping satisfaction.     . The author analyzed the relationship between perceived retail crowding and shopping satisfaction using WarpPLS 3.0 which can analyze the non-linear relationship. Result indicates that perceived retail crowding affects directly shopping satisfaction and there is a non-linear relationship between them.     • The purpose of this study is to examine the factors influencing relationship quality and L-Loyalty in Location-Based Service (LBS). This model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating to LBS, relationship quality, and L-Loyalty. The target population of this study is LBS users. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, personalization and perceived value positively influence commitment and perceived risk negatively influence commitment. Second, personalization, ubiquity, and perceived value positively influence satisfaction and perceived risk negatively influence satisfaction. Finally, commitment and satisfaction positively influence L-Loyalty. The results of the study will provide various implications to improve relationship quality and to secure high loyalty customers in LBS.

    • This study is to investigate the effects of medical service quality and service value by relationship on customer behaviors. The empirical findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, the findings on effects of medical service quality on relationship quality showed that rise in medical service quality resulted in a significant rise in relationship quality. Second, the findings on effects of service value on relationship quality verified that rise in service value had positive(+) impacts on relationship quality. Third, the findings on effects of relationship quality on customer behaviors verified that relationship quality had significant impacts on customer behaviors. Lastly, the findings of relationship with medical service quality, service value, and customer behaviors verified that relationship quality served as a parameter. The findings from the above study show that dental medical institutions have to seek more differentiated and various service strategies, continue to develop consistent service methods to meet customer's expectation, and enhance the reliability of customers in dental medical institutions in order to maximize the results of customer behaviors.
